It’s a busy news day in Wisconsin! Following a story from WisPolitics, yesterday, the state senate adjourned immediately after voting on a veto override, cutting off Democratic objections. Ultimately, the entire session was pointless, as state Republicans are two votes short of the required amount to override a veto. Todd, Pat and Trygve discuss the implications of these silly partisan games. 

After that, Todd and Trygve talk about the autocratic chaos being experienced around the world. From Russia to Donald Trump, we must remember to hold on tightly to the truth. 

It appears like Joe Biden and Donald Trump are going to duke it out in a presidential debate. As an expert on political campaigns and debates, Trygve takes your questions on what to expect. 

Wrapping up today’s first hour, Todd and Trygve reflect on comments by the head of the White House situation room on the January 6th Capitol riot.
