As you may know, Colorado and New York have banned Donald Trump from the presidential ballot. These states claim that due to his participation in an insurrection, the constitution renders him ineligible. Todd brings us some information from the Congressional Research Service on how section three of the 14th amendment may apply. Ultimately, it comes down to the language of the constitution, or how many gifts Clarence Thomas has received from interested parties.
