It finally feels like Winter in the midwest. Huge storms rage across our state, so please keep an eye on the weather and avoid travel when possible. Iowa is also getting its fair share of frigid conditions as we approach the Republican caucus, drawing ire from Trump acolytes like Laura Loomer who claim that Nikki Haley and the Democrats are working together to manipulate the weather. That’s right, climate change isn’t real until it’s convenient to believe that the left is behind it. 

Not to be left behind by the other far-right nutjobs, Donald Trump, Jr. is running his mouth on alleged “RINOs” like Paul Ryan, saying that if he does not show up to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, “nobody will give a damn.” 

The US and UK have carried out a joint strike on Houthi territory, retaliating against terrorist attacks on commercial boats. To finish today’s unholy trinity of political nonsense, both Republican and Democratic senators claim that President Biden has acted illegally by carrying out this strike without senate approval. This is simply false. Todd takes your calls on all three of these issues.
