Todd spent our first hour interviewing three fantastic servicemen and women, but he doesn’t have to be the only one! Brigadier General David May takes your questions on the Wisconsin Air National Guard (ANG) in an exclusive Q&A session. The General brings us up to speed on recruitment and retention rates across the US armed forces, sharing his excitement about the opportunities available. He also addresses concerns of family support for servicemen and women, emphasizing family outreach and childcare programs. He and Captain Sara Eagle discuss methods that the ANG employs to minimize the amount of noise civilians are exposed to when F-35 jets fly overhead. The conversation comes to a close as Brigadier General May advises a former serviceman on how to get back into the ANG. It turns out that no matter your background, it’s very easy to see how you can get involved in serving your country.

Have you ever wondered what kind of music a fighter pilot or general listens to? To conclude our visit with Brigadier General David May, Todd invites him to share some of his favorite musical experiences. Just as a smell or taste can bring back vivid memories, music carries the power to capture a moment. Todd and General May discuss this phenomenon to the tune of artists such as Johnny Cash, The Beatles, AC/DC, and BB King.
