Last night, the UW Board of Regents reversed their decision on the deal struck by President Jay Rothman and Speaker Robin Vos, now approving several financial benefits for UW schools in exchange for “reimagining” the roles of some DEI employees. This whole situation is incredibly complex, but Todd’s unique life experience in Wisconsin politics and education allows him to break it down for us. Todd’s maternal grandmother, Marge Wallace, was the first woman to serve as a dean of a UW institution and was instrumental in getting UW Richland Center built.
