You are listening to the truth with Sherwin Hughes on 1017 the truth the truth app and 1017 the truth.com
We're going to give away a pair of Bryson Tiller tickets at some point during this third hour of the program.
So listen for your chance to win.
Once you guys enjoy the Bryson Tiller show, he's coming with other people too.
It's not just Bryson Tiller.
Bryson Tiller and company.
D Donald says Sherwin is hilarious.
I met him once But he has beautiful eyes.
I said a butt We don't need to meet ever again, but I told I don't we don't need to Meet ever again, but I loved him as a radio host even though he can distort your opinion and will hang up in a minute
Well, I gotta hang up on you because time to go sometimes.
If you don't land a plane, I'll land it for you.
And if you give an opinion that has holes in it, if it's ambiguous, I'm going to point those out.
It's not to be mean.
I just want you to, you know, because the stuff you say when you call is permanent.
These shows live forever.
It's not like, oh, this will be filed away on tape somewhere and then the tapes get thrown in the garbage and disappear forever.
This stuff is out in the ether.
This is it's on the radio.
It's a podcast.
It's a YouTube channel all that stuff You know that when we broadcast when we broadcast anything It goes on outer space you guys know that so every radio station they broadcast and not just broadcast locally, but the radio waves Travel they travel at the speed of light so
We've been broadcasting for probably as human beings in one form or another, probably close to 90 years, maybe 80 years.
So our original broadcasts are 80 light years away.
So someone or some entity on some strange planet 80 light years away is just starting to hear what we were talking about in the 1940s.
Now, while like our 1940s broadcasts.
80 light years away assuming that there is some intelligent life out there, but they're gonna listen us and think that we're insane I mean who are these people what is wrong with them?
Assuming there's intelligent life out there, and I believe there is
we're
Are you believing in aliens?
Universe is too big bro.
It's too it's it's we can't as a human being we can't even conceptualize
The Milky Way itself just our galaxy just our galaxy is a hundred thousand light years across We have no concept of how big that is and if you look on a telescope you can see you can see some galaxies with the naked eye Andromeda you can see with a naked eye on a clear night where there's no light pollution It is just it's billions and billions of stars if you go for it like us looking into the universe is like
using a drinking straw as a telescope.
That's how little we can actually see of the observable universe.
And I think our first one of them is about to run out of battery.
It was a Voyager that was launched in like 78 or 79.
The only battery and not some dope technology because its battery has lasted 50 years.
It only has enough battery left to just send occasional images back to Earth.
And it's like it's billions of miles away.
We're learning so much about the universe.
But here's what I worry about.
If intelligent life finds us, the way that they have been able to manipulate space and time to get here, that they're going to be so much more intelligent than us, they're going to kill us.
It's not us experimenting on them.
Like all that stuff you see with all these aliens crash landed.
No, that's all.
BS as propaganda that's publicity no none of that stuff what we think are flying saucers You know what those were like?
Oh, we found all these flying saucers in the 1950s Those were Russian drones like Russians had drone technology a long long time ago because we didn't know what the hell they were It was an unidentified flying object.
It was a spy operation And all those you know the aliens with the big eyes and the big heads that stuff's not real none of that is real area 51 is where we probably do
either top secret scientific research, pharmaceutical research, or we're experimenting on people.
That's what I believe that stuff is not could be wrong.
I've been wrong before.
Have you heard of the Battle of LA?
I don't know.
No, whatever sci fi stuff that is.
Well, you know, it's a it's a big American event that happened during World War Two.
There was some unidentified objects that were flying above LA and our military launched off.
hundreds of Actually probably thousands of rounds at it it hit it but it didn't go down Actually people lost their lives because ammunition's fell on top
of their
houses and stuff like that But that's not nice the battle of LA look it up guys
But also think about here's how I think alien civilizations would consider us because we're really primitive They would think of us like we think of ants like ants, you know they exist they're a part of You know a natural ecosystem, but like we'll build a house and won't care if we destroy an an hill because I mean their ants
And just if some ants die and then you know cuz they're ants An alien civilization would look at us as the ants and if we think like oh, we're gonna experiment on them.
No, no, we will not I'm afraid of a civilization that like the artificial intelligence that we may have in 100 years They may have had a millennia ago Probably more than that
It's cuz time is a whole like time and gravity and once you start getting to the outer reaches of the universe Like all that stuff is different time is different gravity is different all that's we're not even talking
about different
to
Some sci-fi philosopher all the elements are all the same so the carbon that exists in the universe from the big bang also all the elements That exists on earth exists everywhere in the universe like all the gold all the silver all the palladium all the platinum all the copper all that stuff just
was created with a big bang and then the combination of carbon and oxygen and atoms created human beings and created life all that stuff is out there it just assembled in a very unusual way here on planet Earth and it's ridiculous to think that those elements could not have assembled somewhere else deep deep deep into the universe but I've always been very curious about space in fact when I was probably 9 or 10 years old my parents bought me a telescope
Couldn't really see much with I just look at birds in the backyard for the most part But I was always fascinated by all that we do not know.
I was a very curious child I used to grow plants when I was like seven grew plants in my room.
It was I did also had parakeets.
I built model rockets Love cars red car magazines collect comic books.
I'm an eclectic dude, you know, I got some comic books that are
Think my Tarzan comic books were from the 1940s.
So they're 80 some years old and
good shapes You
I got some DC comics.
I got a nice little collection.
I have the original So when matrix when it premiered in Oof 99 Whatever movie theater they had the actual premiere.
So before it was widely released This is where like Keanu Reeves and the others that's where they went to the premiere.
They were handing out a limited edition comic book
It was only available if you went to that premiere.
I actually have one of those and.
So Keanu Reeves has a has a music group.
He's got a band and he's coming to the rave.
Are you going to go see him?
Yeah,
I'm going to try and meet him actually.
You know a funny fact about the Matrix.
Oh, I know you got a funny fact about it.
What is well, the creator of the Matrix is black woman.
Well,
it's a transgender person.
A black woman wrote that screenplay and some white people stole it from her and she's been trying to sue.
But then they're trying to say, oh, no, that black woman is crazy.
Sometimes when people say a black person is crazy, they're trying to discredit them because that's the story that I've always heard that the Matrix was written by a black woman who got zero credit and got zero money.
I've heard that.
But the people that are taking credit for the movie, the persons are transgender and it's supposed to be about their transition, you know, the red pill, the blue pill.
The red pill is the estrogen pill in the blue pills, the testosterone
Well, no, the person that's the person that is taking the credit for the movie, they are actually our transgender person.
They actually do or have had interviews about that.
to make
Yeah well you should watch the origin story for the Matrix and it's basically what we're leading into now.
time.
You watch a
What do you I guess you hear for a couple hours and then you because weddings and stuff is not every single day.
Well you do you shoot more than just weddings.
You watch a lot of stuff.
Yeah, even the time that you have to send me stuff.
Let me be clear, Xavier.
I'm never going to watch that
stuff.
I don't see you stuff all the time.
I
because I know you're not going to watch it.
I'm
good
I listen to stuff while I'm when I'm in transit, the things you know when I'm editing.
I have a lot of time to sit there and listen to things, you know.
Hey, I'm doing well Sharon.
How are you great?
What's on your mind?
I knew you were a secret nerd.
No
Oh, yeah I Think that the aliens are very concerned about our use of nuclear
weapons because we we're like the monkeys playing with gas cans and matches when it comes to nuclear and I think we're gonna like affect the whole universe because when that explosion goes off it ripples I'm pretty sure it ripples through space and they're aware of it and they don't want us blowing up the planet where they might have to come some day and get their food water resources and elements
Advanced society needs earth for anything and all nuclear weapons will do is just blow us up and we'll have very little effect on anything that's Less than fifty thousand light years away.
I don't think they care about that.
Also our nuclear technology is primitive.
We're just barely harnessing the power of the universe
Just barely neutron bombs and atom bombs and hydrogen bombs is just like the most basic elemental understanding of the universe.
And so for a society or a planet or alien life forms to even be aware of us as human beings, their technology is so advanced because they have figured out how to travel at the speed of light.
We can't do that.
Best we can do is travel at the speed of sound.
So yeah, I don't think they're worried about it.
We're not even significant.
Human beings are just we're a virus.
And we're spreading and destroying the earth like that's we're not special We're growth.
We're monkeys.
We're primates.
I Really do think that they were monitoring our nuclear development out at was that area of 51 and
I do think that they were coming in and our radar technology kind of threw off some of their electronics and cars.
So you
are
every technology has a weakness so I can't say that never that they're so perfect that they would never have accidents or crash.
and maybe they blew up.
Maybe they blew up their planet.
Maybe that's why they have all
color again God go
for Trump again.
Oh, maybe they just keep going on this road of maybe they did this and then maybe just no We're that arrogant to think that They even care about human beings human beings are generally disgusting We kill everything we destroy we're destroying the earth
The earth is treating us like a virus.
And it's heating up.
And I'm not going to argue with anybody who doesn't believe in global warming and climate change, because there's no more obvious explanation.
It's plain.
A five-year-old can understand what's happening to the planet.
And we can literally watch it every single day.
And so I'm not going to waste time explaining this stuff to people that cannot critically think.
People that will say something like, oh.
Black people aren't violent because my mother never killed anybody.
Therefore, you know, I mean they just use these weird arguments.
I'm not gonna get into debates with those people Our I've given you guys this analogy before us the easiest one I can describe Or it makes sense When you get a fever when you get sick you get fever sometimes, right?
That's your body raising its core temperature
To kill the virus that's making you sick because viruses can only exist and only replicate themselves in a very narrow range of Temperatures and so our bodies heat up we get a fever to try and kill the virus and then when the fever breaks We probably have destroyed the virus and you're on your road to recovery.
Okay The earth is the host
Heating itself up because if you continue to heat up the earth We're gonna lose polar ice caps and if there's less polar ice caps then less of the Sun's rays can be reflected off of those polar ice caps Back into outer space.
What do we get?
worse storms bigger droughts wildfires wildfires in Canada You name it.
It's happening.
Miami is literally sinking into the sea
They actually have these huge jacks trying to I'm not kidding you if you look this up They're trying to actually boost like they have jacks under the street in Miami, Florida To try and keep it from being washed away by the damn sea because we're melting all the polar ice caps and it's impacting the weather It's gonna wait.
So you see how mild this winter is gonna be it's frightening like we might have a 60 degree day in December January February and 80 degree day in March like all this stuff is not normal
It does make for some really nice weather in Wisconsin.
It does.
But the earth is trying to kill us.
And it should, because we're just messing everything.
We just putting holes all in the earth, looking for diamonds and gold and looking for cobalt and just digging up stuff and blowing up stuff and we're shooting everybody and building weapons.
We just are gross.
You know what I mean?
Do you think there's been past civilizations that have been wiped out?
10,000 Romans.
Oh, yeah
So you think there's been many civilizations that have risen up and have destroyed himself?
Yes, the
Yeah Romans they were Until Nero started playing that fiddle.
Yeah, absolutely sometimes Human beings get so powerful that you hit this
Like the end of the road is all right.
Well, I gotta kill everybody.
That's not as powerful as me I have to get rid of the undesirables and they just end up destroying each other human beings are the Bible the Bible is a horrible horrible movie God killed millions of people with plagues and all sorts of stuff.
I'm gonna kill all you people Kill everybody the devil only killed like four people and not crazy
Yeah, I always say that you know, I know he only killed the people that God bed him to kill in the Bible But the God killed tens of thousands if not millions of people in the Bible
Oh, yeah,
just gonna sit here.
That's why I like that that one lady I showed you, you know, she's very intellectual She challenges my mind and she's very far left wing and it's very interesting at times
Oh,
know how she's well.
She's very well bred.
She reads a lot of stuff that you would be impressed with.
That's there's no further left than that.
And there's not going to be an American Revolution.
I take that back.
Because we've been waiting for our revolution as black people.
OK, the revolution took place.
But the revolt.
Was with the people that we should have revolted against the wrong people And acted the revolution Trump is the leader of the revolution.
We didn't see that coming That wasn't supposed to happen.
We were supposed to be the revolutionaries and we're now we're not I'm sick break home back.
There's other examples of ethnic cleansing not just you wanting to get rid of undesirables
You guys remember that spot on Brady and Arlington called the garage where they came out with this playlist or a no playlist of hip-hop music That's the kind of ethnic cleansing to and I it's not necessarily sinister, but if if just if Black people listen to hip-hop music and when some it's not just black people let me let me be specific if black people want to go out to places and hear hip-hop music and That's the reason why they're going to certain establishments because they play hip-hop
Well, if you stop playing the hip hop, then the black people are going to stop coming.
That's a subtle form of ethnic cleansing, too.
If you play a different kind of music, then you may get rid of those you may deem undesirable, which is African Americans are listening to hip hop.
So let's talk about the garage about to open back up again under new ownership.
But we are curious as to what kind of music they're going to play.
If they are not going to play hip-hop if they're gonna maintain that same no playlist that the old owners of the garage instituted Oh, by the way, I reached out to the previous owners of the garage for an interview.
I did not hear back Why would she want to come and talk to me anyway?
What's the point?
But we'll see right sometimes if they don't play our music Then they're getting rid of us ethnically cleansing we don't want black people in here cuz you blacks don't tip

Got the Mamie way coming on tomorrow.
She's a food reviewer.
She's
one of
She's so good She's entertaining and the way she gets all dramatic whenever she tastes something that's good When she be doing this right here, what's this thing that the women do they go like this?
Mmm, that's good.
That's tea.
They call everything tea face tea body tea I just don't know how I'm gonna get her in the building.
I don't even know how to explain.
Oh,
we got it.
We got it
No, we're going to get her in here.
It's
Well, our captain, Sierra, she texted me and she's on it and she'll she'll handle it for us.
We're going to be good to go.
Like I'm a guest arriving and I go out to that keypad they have on the second floor That's the hard thing telling people to come to that part of the second floor because it's harder to access if you're not coming from the parking structure Some people don't want to park in a park of structure and then when you do park in a park of structure If you park in the wrong place, you'll never find the entry doors to the market hall and you can enter the market hall on the third floor and not because then now you got to go down a level to the second floor and it's just it's it's ridiculous
We don't need that much damn security.
We ain't that important Yeah, didn't
you have some lady come sit in with you and said she could she got in here so easily I
She asked me
she was sitting there So she brought me a big bag of KitKats because you guys know how much I love KitKats
So she comes to the election night watch party.
She brings me a big bag of KitKats.
And then she leans over to me and is like, oh, do you have a condom?
I was like, what?
Yo, beat it.
Get out of here.
Like, y'all may not think it, but women can be worse than us sometimes.
I was offended by that.
I'm like, why would you think in a million years, ma'am?
And she didn't stop.
She came to my house.
Some of these men that is I feel so bad for y'all because you live in a scarcity mindset Anytime any woman anywhere shows you a bit of interest and attention.
You're you're already trying to Be involved with her physically.
It ain't never worth it never but some men don't you know Depending on the woman I'm talking about the kind of woman that would do something like that who just has no shame whatsoever like
Allow yourself to be chased if it's that easy.
I don't want it Why are you just giving it away if I see a bunch of like free food on the side of the road?
I'm like, why would somebody leave this?
Why they why is nobody else eating and why is it been disregard?
I don't want that sometimes people like fast food Yeah, but when it comes to something like that because it's usually more trouble than it's worth It ain't worth it and fellas once you get to a certain age you realize I shouldn't never even mess with that girl at all at the time.
It was a great idea
But then once you cross over to the other side, you involve yourself with them physically, like this was the stupidest thing I ever did.
Say child or something.
Oh, sure.
When you're this and you're that, lose my number.
Gladly.
And then they keep texting me.
I'm going to lose your number if you keep that.
And another thing they don't ever call me ever again.
I won't.
What I do call me.
Seems like these women are really way more entangled in your life than they should be.
Because so many men especially on the internet throw themselves and are inboxing these women and all by you flowers like dudes that live across the country see a pretty girl on the internet bro She don't even look like that.
That's AI generated filters and then when a man is like yeah, I'm not interested in you like What I can't believe it.
Let me try harder.
You make yourself look gross.
Nobody want that If you're unobtainable, that's where the value was that you know what I'm saying?
That's my thing
But
some
I'm right there for it.
You sucker.
That reduces your value, too.
Don't be an easy man.
We need to start acting like we're actually the prizes.
They want a good man to take care of them, to protect them, to provide for them.
Don't let women tell you no different.
Because when it comes to the real hard responsibilities of a man, don't know a woman want to be burdened with that.
You all want equality until it comes to stuff like going to the draft.
Having to do heavy lifting and I don't want I'm just a girl, but I thought you wanted equality.
Yeah, but only the equality that I like No ladies you don't want it you do not you are better off Just finding a man that'll literally just take care of stuff where my mother is finding that out with my dad for 53 years the stuff that I gotta do I'm like pops yo Over here
Putting together treadmills just sorts of stuff Yikes But no have a soft life ladies They complain about being an independent woman yet.
They love it.
It sucks and you know it does Ladies be easy out there What do you want no damn independence you got everything is your fault when a man does something And we feel their heads with delusions tell them they're beautiful when they're not
You know a man gonna get told he's beautiful when he's a fat slob.
He's gonna get told he's a fat slob, but here's the thing men that are fat slobs Know that they're fat slobs If a woman is a fat slob, I know just by me saying that I'm offending everybody but y'all if a man can be a fat slob a woman can be too But you'll tell a fat slob woman if she's still beautiful and she's I'm not so
some men like that they like them big
has
But what we're doing now, and this is why I'm so fascinated by like these mukbang content creators, these food reviewers, and some of them are morbidly obese and the bigger they are, the more views they get.
So we are rewarding these people with likes, clicks and shares because we're watching them kill themselves and they're getting validation by killing themselves.
It is so evil.
It's so bad.
You're watching mukbangs.
They come up on my, um, cause I talk about food a lot.
Cause when you post about food a lot, cause I posted restaurants, I post pictures that my algorithm is that's why I found Mamie.
That's hilarious.
Your, your algorithm is putting muck bangers up there.
That's like,
sick.
be somebody eating 37 chicken Parmesan.
Have you ever seen the ones where they start off skinny then five years later?
They're morbidly obese No, but that's I love that classic.
I love
I Bet you do It's it's wild and you can make a lot of money off that stuff too You know what I even get deposits from Facebook get they pay you when you post that's not a lot
You know what five six seven bucks here or there you and made me should do a mukbang tomorrow I'm not into that.
I've seen the way I Eat on camera and thank you And she's not come she's not bringing any food.
In fact, you know, she's done So a mukbang is different than a food reviewer.
We got a there's a huge difference Most of what I get in my algorithm are food reviewers, especially in Milwaukee because I've posted so much about it because I hashtag about it
But every now and again if I see a 700 pound person eating I went to McDonald's and did the viral order of the 17 patty cheeseburger How can I not watch that
and
watch that stuff I'm not
are
education you send me like Millennial propaganda that's like steeped in paranoia and also it's a lot of stuff that we can't control like you're concerned about stuff going on in another part of the world where they don't give anything about black kids not being able to read for me and my age is counterproductive to be concerned about stuff That is of no consequence if it's of consequence.
Well, then yeah, I'll focus on it, but I don't care what
Sorry Jews and Palestinians.
I mean that sucks,
but what do you want me to do?
I don't send you that stuff.
I send you stuff in America.
You sent me
no, sure you
you know a
pack and I was gonna do a whole segment on a pack what I opted not to do it because there's I have a list of like 30 political action committees
that are putting nasty money, dark money and their real sinister forces, like keeping poisons and chemicals in our food and not removing pesticides.
Like stuff that's banned in Europe is still legal here.
So there's like 30 political action committees that do way, way more harm and way more damage and kill way more people than APAC.
But people...
Make it seem like, oh, you even said some stuff about, you know, one of our senators, if they accept APAC money, I don't care.
Because if we are not giving money to our elected officials, they're going to get it from somewhere.
It's like somebody can say, they use it as a proxy.
Because anti-semitism is very real.
People hate Jews.
I'm indifferent to them.
I care about the Jews as much as the Jews care about you.
I love the Jews.
Some of my best friends are Jewish.
We are off course a person will
all you can't use the entertainment industry and A lot of my good friends are Jewish you can have you can be
married to a Jew and hate them you can be married to a black person and Fundamentally hate black people so that cliche and I wouldn't don't fly to oh, I've got a Jewish friend the only people I hate are Nazis and Ku Klux Klan's but you can say Let's say somebody hates black people, but that's not a nice thing to say because we're sensitive
They can just say oh, I'll never go to this part of town.
I don't feel safe over here I don't listen to hip-hop music because that's the proxy for them saying I hate these n-words, right?
So somebody can really really hate Jews but being anti-Semitic that it gets you in so much trouble and that juice is never worth the squeeze So what you can do is you can say I hate the Jewish political action committee as a proxy for how much people hate Jews because anti-Semitism is very American In fact, here's what's crazy.
I have to say this I got to take a break so I grew up in
Brown deer in 1980s where there's not a lot of black people a lot of white folks but but a variety of white people the diversity of white people like their backgrounds where the grandparents came from their religions like there's diversity amongst the whites okay what how do I say this or not of the black people and the white people that I grew up with
Because a lot of times they didn't have a lot in common because the black kids that went to brown deer at the time didn't live out there They were a part of the chapter 220 programs that were bust from the inner city and how they sometimes saw common ground is the The black people from the central city being bussed to brown deer to integrate the brown deer school system and the white kids who had probably been in brown deer their parents for generations both hated Jews It was oh my god the anti-semitic stuff that I grew up with probably some of the most
Like some of the worst stuff that I heard I mean there was some anti-black stuff, too But other white kids that like black people would defend us and like would fight on our behalf So if a white person called any of us the n-word we had a whole bunch of white folks would just beat them up Mercilessly, so we didn't really worry about that But the anti-Semitic stuff that I heard growing up.
I thought it was normal, but I was thinking I was like what?
What did the Jews even do?
Well, they killed Christ.
That's kind of complicated.
Like, I don't have a beef with somebody's religion because I just I don't care.
All right.
What do we got to do?
We got to give away the price and seller tickets.
What am I?
No, no, that's that's next segment.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, fluff him up a little bit.
Where's my fluff screw?
Gotta prep them.
I can't just I don't have my fluff This is insane like I just need to have this stuff in my email.
You have fluff well No, what oh wait what no, I don't know what this is new What is this that the fluff
Yeah, but they know she ought to play a son of look what time in there.
We're just messing this whole thing Were you on camera just people want to see you should get on camera Drew's nation it's about that time Gotta play the fluff sound So do I tell him this one says call do they call now
Why do I not nobody contests?
I've been a part of in my career hundreds for some reason.

It's not good.
You gotta if you're gonna talk to me.
I gotta be not talking.
Yep I don't understand I'll read the disclaimer again cuz I have I want to read it twice
So everybody knows I don't read that again.
No, no this These pages are numbered so I got here.
So this page has no number on it.
This is page one and this is page four So I'm missing pages two and pages three.
Yeah, I don't know what happened to him Give away and in my folder says Sherwin's folder.
Don't touch it gets touched
I think the cleaning lady is coming in here and messing with your folder when we're gone Cleaning ladies don't come in here.
Yeah,
Yeah, well, you know, I used to do the sports right so
But
Yeah.
So when I would be here doing sports at late night, I'd be leaving at 10 o'clock.
They come in here around 10 o'clock every night to clean up.
When we were with good karma brands, they do not come in.
I promise you they don't come in here.
That would be insane.
Good karma is like, yeah, let's not clean up their studio anymore.
You please tell me what's insane about that.
I don't know.
You tell me, you know, you tell them all you have a whole
You're gonna do a whole broadcast about your experience here when you're when we leave.
I'm over it.
I don't even care.
Oh, yeah.
I don't
it's
the general same story that our people, our life experience when we work with and or for them, every black person's experience is exactly the same.
But white folks don't see that they treat us the exact same way.
It does not matter.
Where we're at what our position is especially if you're better than them you will never see that kind of rage You'll never see it.
It's the worst.
It's so bad.
It's animosity.
It's jealousy.
It's and they're just they're baffled They're like, how are you successful like how?
Oh Sure, well, how do you have that kind of car?
I feel like running them over when it says like they're like black people can't have nice stuff.
Oh My god, it's so bad.
They're so bad
Had a discussion the other night reasonable white dude.
He was cool.
He's like sure when they're gonna breed us out I was like absolutely there.
He's like all the Muslims are gonna come over here mutt when you that's what you worried about Like yeah, I'm worried for the future.
Don't worry about the future sir chances are you won't be here for it Somebody else will take care of what you're concerned about now, but but but 50 years from that when you're not here Shh, don't just have a beer.
Everybody relax.
It's fine
People are so anxious.
They have so much anxiety now.
People are different after COVID.
People worry about unnecessary stuff and I get it.
COVID sucked for a lot of people and we had to lock everything down and some people died.
Now, I'm not trying to diminish any of that, but people have like unreasonable fears and anxieties now.
You know what I mean?
Get a Xanax and chill.
Okay.
What do I, what now do I do now?
What do I read?
I'm just going to start reading stuff.
I'll read what the business is, American family, insurance, Milwaukee college prep.
I'll start.
Say I won't Why is Jasmine Tyler and I feel harassed why y'all harassing sure Jasmine says it's the salt and pepper beard Sherwin So what's happening with D Donald and mr. Mahdi are you hitting on her?
Do Donald says no if a woman is that forward she doesn't care about you or what you think They just want the snacks and you can be gone if she likes you She'll take it slow because she's checking on you.
I don't but if I don't like her then it don't matter if she likes me or not Care or what am I doing?
You got to help me producers What am I reading?
Truth Nation Bryson Tiller is coming to Milwaukee September 29th and one on one seven the truth has a hookup for you right now We're playing a game called name that song Right.

The

This is the truth with Sherwin Hughes on one oh one seven the truth the truth app and one oh one seven the truth calm
tiller?
I'm gonna go take my wife.
I Appreciate Sharon
101 7 the truth.
We're gonna get you information.
Don't go anywhere
What's tomorrow Friday?
I think I got Mamie way come.
I don't even know.
Let's tell her to call in.
She reviews Milwaukee restaurants mostly.
Well, she's kind of diverse in what she reviews, but I'm fascinated by her content.
How she even finds out about all these new restaurants.
There are so many restaurants in this city.
We've got to be a critical mass with restaurants every single day.
Another one is opening up.
So my complaint.
About the restaurants black-owned restaurants because we are always encouraging black people to support other black businesses And I think the black people will if the product or service is something that is in demand I mean, maybe I'm different I can't spend my money on something that I don't want just because the proprietor is black I can't it makes zero sense to me because then I'll just have a house full of stuff from black Vendors that I won't use won't do that.
But if there's a service or a product that I want I'll buy it
But I'll buy it from anybody.
The issue that I have is that with black soul food restaurants.
Basically the same menu.
It's not very diverse.
And like, you can have good macaroni and cheese, but 37 different restaurants all have macaroni and cheese.
It's kind of ridiculous.
Somebody was wondering, because, you know, people eat oxtails.
But we don't see a lot of oxes.
You know what oxes are oxes are bulls That have been castrated so people.
Oh, I don't ever see any oxes because when they So when you clip the reproductive parts of a Bull it becomes very quiet and very docile Because an ox is like we use oxes to like plow fields where people used to In third-world countries they'll use and but it's a bull because you know bulls are aggressive
They'll hurt you and they'll mount you and also most of the Beef that we eat.
I didn't know this is from female cattle.
We don't really eat Steers on a K. I think a steer we can eat a male steer, but we don't eat bulls You can't go to a restaurant to get a bull burger get a bull steak.
You're probably more likely to find bison
Had a bison burger once freaked me out because the buffalo does not look like something I want to eat technically a cow Because you know cows have personalities That they'll come up to you and they remember you that's so sad But man burgers are so good They're so delicious You ever have a nice perfectly prepared perfectly seared filet
filet mignon just like medium rare perfect.
Oh my goodness.
Oh, so good.
Where do you guys think the best hamburger is in the city?
They're
all
I'm just like cops.
That's because they're familiar.
I like them.
Let's see what we got here.
Stacked had bison burgers.
I think they're closed and they used to be like on first and Pittsburgh.
the stacked burger bar.
I think that's a Mexican restaurant now.
A lot of Mexican restaurants too.
Mexican restaurants, food trucks.
Got critical mass.
There's too many of them.
What else we saying in the YouTube chat?
Well, I guess we can check the poll before it ends.
Should we remove undesirables from our city?
74% of you say yes.
Jasmine said they're Very close you guys ever hear of a place called Archie's flat top in West Alice I guess they're so they're burgers and then it's the place directly across the street from the packing house Called the owl or the night owl But they run out of burgers at like one o'clock in the afternoon and they're only open seasonally I have seen people travel from all over the country to go to the night owl on
It's on latent Boulevard right across from the airport signature airport.
I guess their burgers are to die for.
But I'll eat a McDonald's burger, too.
I don't know if I ever met a big Mac.
I didn't like.
Yeah, they be hidden.
They do unless you
get it from the hotspot.
Yeah, it's all sloppy.
They got your Mac sauce all sloppy all the place.
Yes.
No, you didn't nobody even say hello.
Your guy shot me straight to you.
But anyway, yeah, the night out.
So I'm late.
I was there yesterday.
Oh, really?
It's good.
Is that good?
matter of fact.
Yeah, I drive from north to brown deer and north to brown deer and 60 to go.
So yeah, I like it.
And I don't even like hamburgers.
Chris is a real good dude, but yeah, it's good, but you got to get there.
Have to get so much here.
Got a small space.
I'd be so much beats.
It's all fresh.
He's gone.
It's done.
It's real good.
Sherwin, the reason I called though, you were going to give out Al's Facebook page the other day.
Oh,
Okay,
What
and have a great
1017 the truth the truth app and 1017 the truth calm What is this song well done say the n-word so
You can't don't say the n-word well Technically Cuz I've said the n-words probably 42,000 times in my broadcast career maybe 43 and I've heard nary a whimper in fact Xavier were you producing the show when the white guy called in and said the n-word we dared him to then at the last moment because it's not he was right up on the edge He's about to say like I was daring him to say it was a white guy that called in
And I was like, no, no, no.
He's like, say it.
He's like, I'll say it.
I said, no, you won't.
You won't say it.
He's like, uh-huh.
He was like revving himself up.
He was getting all hyped up.
And then at that moment, I realized, yeah, he's going to say it.
And he absolutely did with the hard ER.
And we were all shook.
I wish I was here for that.
You know who was probably produced?
I think Ricky was.
It was probably a couple of years ago.
But I never forgot that call.
But that word is, I don't know.
I think that people should be able to use speech.
I don't think that you solve or stop any problems when you curtail people's speech.
Don't you want people to be able to express themselves?
If somebody does not like black people, I'd rather know because if I know, I might not go to their store.
I might not shop in their neighborhood.
I might withhold my money.
You know what I mean?
Like, I want to be informed about that and I think that...
A lot of us believe that if we don't hear it and if people are just really really nice to us That they actually like they like us and that has us so fooled That's why we're always inviting these damn people to the barbecue.
I don't even know whose idea that was But they have not responded in kind to inviting us to theirs because they know better But they love coming to our barbecues because if you can be ingratiated by a black family
And you're a white person because they're always like really excited like they it's like a badge of honor for them like oh my god, they're literally inviting a spy To come to their private family gathering because that's all they're doing is gathering intelligence and all of the white folks that y'all have invited to barbecues and I'm not saying don't invite them and Maybe they listen to black folks talk, you know the barbecue.
It's like a festival for us family gets together
You know sometimes things that we just keep in the family are oftentimes exposed at that barbecue Especially when people get to drinking and having a good time they say all sorts of stuff very rarely will we curtail Our speeches black folks just because there's somebody else around or we'll assume because they're there Oh, they must be cool But of all the things that they probably have heard black people complain about at these barbecues because you always bring up Racism and the police like the things that plague us in society like that stuff gets discussed the barbecue is
Really good for social political and philosophical discussions, right?
And so for all the white folks that have gone to the many many barbecues that y'all have been inviting them to since I don't know the days of George Floyd because it just seemed like we were Desperate and thirsty for positive white attention has anything in this country changed by opening up your doors and opening up your backyard and opening up your barbecue grill And also when they taste our food don't they freak out.
Oh my god.
I've never had sweet potatoes like this in my life.
Oh
What's the recipe and they actually think there's a recipe black folks don't write stuff down Nothing has changed I would argue The things they've probably gotten worse and so the racial reckoning is I think that we are searching for We're searching for them in the wrong place We cannot hope nor guarantee
The white people are going to learn from their mistakes and be better, be smarter, be nicer, be kinder, be more moral and be more ethic.
If we think that we deserve everything that we get, we believe that if we do a bunch of stuff and if we change our behavior and if we pull our pants up and if we don't listen to, you know, obscene hip hop and we stop saying the n-word, then they'll finally respect us.
No, that just shows their power and their influence over us To impact black culture to where it is less threatening for them What we have to do is we have to know and learn Everything we can not just about them, but also about us That is the only way that you combat this system is to know it and to recognize it and to hopefully get out ahead of it and use the powers that you have
to organize, to vote, to push political issues and agendas, to show up to budget meetings, to have a say so on where your tax dollars get allocated.
If that part is on us and if we are not doing that, if we are outsourcing that to them, then we deserve everything that we get.
Gil Scott Herron told you.
The revolution will not be televised and I don't.
know how some of you all interpreted that.
But it's it's a very intelligent, critically thinking sentiment to say.
That's a full and complete statement.
The revolution won't be televised and you're thinking, well, where where can I watch it?
At the IMAX, where is it going to be on YouTube?
No, the revolution is in your mind.
Once we start using our noodle.
and applying our collective intelligence, then maybe stuff will begin to change, but not before then.
So this person puts on the Facebook.
It's a picture of suburban squad cars, about seven or eight of them, Elm Grove, Oakree, Cudahay, St.
Francis.
And then they said, if you're leaving Milwaukee, this is the narrative they put in the Facebook post.
But I want to use this as an example because there is a level of lawlessness that people have just resigned to in this city.
OK.
And they've so resigned to it that they may not even know that the things that they are doing are illegal because they see it so much.
And also, we talked about drivers there the last time I was here, not knowing the rules of the road and being ignorant.
the rules of the road and who has the right of way and you got to stop at a stop sign you can't roll the stop sign you got to use your turns and like all of that stuff if you don't know those things because you never had formal drivers education you can't tell a cop that you didn't know what you did was illegal ignorance is no excuse and I thought we knew that and because we may not know the rules of the road if you don't know the rules of the road you can't drive take a bus get on the hop the Milwaukee streetcar you don't have to even know
When the yields if you're taking the hop or the street car or better yet Get on a greyhound bus.
I think you can go to Madison for nine cents Go ahead.
You don't have to worry about driving knowing the rules of the road, but if you're gonna operate a motor vehicle There are rules and there are laws that not only you must follow.
We all have to follow them I don't know how many millions of cars are on the road in Wisconsin, but if everybody is driving like an idiot
Not registering their plates and doing all these other moving violations.
Think about the chaos.
Actually, you see the chaos right now.
But what we do is we because we didn't know I didn't know that that was illegal.
That's not going to get you out of a ticket unless you're really attractive.
Then maybe do a little flirting with the cop.
The question I want to ask, but I don't think I want to formalize it in the YouTube poll.
I have heard and maybe it's not true because I've never seen it.
Maybe it's a myth.
That if a lady gets pulled over She can flirt a little bit with the cop if it's a man cop this flirty flirt a little bit.
Maybe she unbuttons a button on her blouse She gets all doe-eyed but officer I didn't know I was going 92 and a 35.
Okay, Missy.
I'll let y'all go Okay, and maybe that works because there's some cops that you know, they're men and some men do respond
So that kind of flirtatious Behavior, I've also heard of cops Like asking women out like oh if you go on a date with me I won't give you a ticket highly illegal But I mean if you think the cop is cute Because that means you probably can get away with more stuff because if you're dating somebody that's on the police force
Who
However, I digress Fellas if you get pulled over okay
And a man cop comes up and you know, ask you the questions, you know, he rolled down the window.
You have your driver's license on you, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So you're a man and the cop is a man too.
OK, but he's obviously gay and there's definitely gay cops.
Definitely.
Quite a few, actually.
OK, and he comes up to the vehicle where you're you're the driver and maybe you ran a red light or something and he comes up.
Hmm, you know, I pulled you over What kind of car is this and you know, I mean he's He's very much a police officer.
He went to the academy.
He's trained.
You know, you can't be going that fast Fellows would you flirt?
with a Gay cop to get out of a ticket would you kind of throw it back at him a little bit?
He's like, mm-hmm.
What you wearing?
Boy, you would love to see what I wear
I'm not going to get out to Cardo because you're going to fall in love with this ass.
You know what I mean?
Would you do it to get out of a ticket?
Because what if you can't get another ticket?
What if you just got a ticket?
What if your insurance just went up?
And if you flirt a little bit, fellas, I'm just asking the question.
It doesn't make you gay.
Not at all.
It might make you smart.
To get out of that ticket because the ticket might be two hundred and forty dollars and six points You don't want that then you got to go to traffic court.
You probably got to take some time off for work.
Would you?
I'll take the answers just in the YouTube chat.
I'm very curious I don't know if I would do it.
I would feel I Don't even know how to flirt with a man Because flirting with a woman is different you got to be like more subtle when you flirt
With a dude, you can just take your shirt off.
You like this?
Chances are, if I'm driving, I might have my shirt off anyway.
No, I'm just curious.
Because if women can get out of tickets and they say that they can successfully, I'm not talking about any of the stuff I said I was going to talk about.
I got a whole bunch of stuff I got to share with y'all.
Officer, I do like a man in uniform.
Well, you do that pretty well.
I mean, would you do it, Xavier?
Would you flirt with a gay cop to get out of a ticket?
Yeah, sure.
All right.
Hey, officer, you looking really good today.
I do like a man in uniform.
Oh, I like your shades.
Do you ever wear Daisy Dukes when you ride your motorcycle?
How'd you know?
stop.
the window
know why I pulled you over
ladies would you Flirt with a lesbian cop I'm not just I'm just curious like it doesn't you got to try everything you can't because you can't say oh, I didn't know that I was speeding
I didn't know that what I did was illegal.
I didn't know that U-turn was illegal.
Your ignorance is not an excuse.
So maybe if you try flirting, but also be mindful of the diversity on our police department.
Our police department is probably going to get even more diverse as time goes on because we're searching for people to be cops.
We're looking everywhere.
They can even live outside of the city.
I think you have to live within like 15 minutes though of the city, which puts you in some pretty significant suburban company.
but we are desperately in need of police officers and we might get a rash of gays like a big a big rainbow explosion of men and women even transgender cops how would you flirt with a transgender like you how do you that's complicated because when they walk up you're like oh
um you say oh i like your shirt oh you don't address them as he or him the officer them the officer them oh you say hey i like your shirt
Yeah, hey, I like what are your pronouns and then they tell you what your pronouns are then you address them that way
then
say hey What are your pronouns before I start your so I can address you the correct way?
I feel like if people are listening to us right now because somebody probably is going to get pulled over today who might be driving around listening to this program.
I feel like if you employ any of the things that we are saying right now, you're going to get George Floyded.
So maybe don't don't don't gay flirt.
Don't straight flirt.
Just take your ticket.
You know, don't engage in unnecessary conversation with the police officer.
Don't try to see if they're transgender or not.
You know, don't just take your ticket and go
on
But it's all started because there's a person that posted something on Facebook that
List the whole bunch of moving violations and is angry that you may get pulled over for moving violations in the suburbs versus the city because far too many of us here have just resigned to the fact that you can break a bunch of laws because the cops can't stop everybody.
And what that's doing is it's not only creating.
A culture here where people feel comfortable breaking the law and not registering their plates and tinting their windows too dark.
All these other things, they think they can get away with it because the police are, we're under resource when it comes to cops.
But then they go out to the suburbs and they get pulled over for those things.
We automatically want to assume all these cops are racist.
No, your license plates are expired.
You don't have license plates at all.
You were speeding.
You ran a red light.
Things that people may routinely do and get away with in the city of Milwaukee.
you can't do in other places.
And so when you get pulled over, because they actually enforce the law, all of the laws, I know that's a burden for the public.
When the traffic enforcement officers are actually enforcing traffic laws, well, that's terrible, because nobody likes to get pulled over.
I know I don't.
That's why I do my level best to mitigate the reasons why a cop can pull me over.
So when they do pull me over, it might be an extenuating circumstance or it might be racial bias, but I'm not going to give them those additional reasons.
I'm going to take a break, come back.
We're gonna have our commercials all squared away.
We're good had a couple little few technical difficulties, but we're gonna get back in the swing of things I'm also gonna try and find better music.
There's a song by Russ Freeman that I want to play but I can't Okay, I think I found all right the truth with Sherwin Hughes will be right back The truth with Sherwin Hughes returns after this on 1017 the
Now what's going on with my life?
I take one day off and everything is I can't my music ain't playing.
It's just we're not gonna have any music right now.
Am I pushing all the right buttons?
What is happening?
Xavier, are you able to play music?
Well, it's too late now.
I'm already back from the commercial break.
Yeah, I could play music.
You guys hear that?
That is me clicking a play button and there's nothing.
I'm gone for one day.
What did y'all do yesterday when I wasn't here?
Were you guys OK?
What did you do?
Oh.
There it is.
Little jazz.
It's played randomly.
I just played that for you.
Do you play this?
Yeah, so your hotkeys this or no, no, I'm playing this Over your gaslet see that was me playing it.
I literally just turned it off look You okay You hear that yes, but that's not the song I was just playing What's happening?
What day of the week?
What is this this Thursday Saturday yet?
Yeah, this is crazy day.
Oh, it ain't got crazy yet, buddy.
Not yet.
So let me go to YouTube.
Let me open it up.
Haven't opened it up yet.
And I want to check the polls.
So these undisciples get the hell out of here.
And I think that some of you will say yes.
They need to go.
I've heard it.
You come to the city of Milwaukee and you're acting up.
You're acting a fool.
You're shooting people.
You're reckless.
You're causing damage to property.
You're loitering on water street and Brady Street.
You're causing a problem Should you go somewhere else?
I think that that is a very it's a simple solution To a complex problem and this is what I want to explore because most people say you know what?
If you can't shape up, you got to ship out go somewhere else I saw Mila signed at the grocery store about a month ago And she said as she's saying this
Right in the area where you walk into the grocery store where you go through the sliding glass doors and You grab your shopping cart.
So there's a lot of people walking back and forth people that are walking into the grocery store and people that have already Checked out and they're walking back to their vehicles with their groceries.
So there's there's people right and she says Loud and clear plan is they sure when good black people need to we need to put something like a mark on our forehead so that
People know it can recognize us as the good black people not the black bad black people and She was serious and what was most embarrassing about that you guys have heard stuff that Millison says when she calls She is very much in favor of removing people and then when I asked folks like Al to when Al calls in I Will say that these people need to go somewhere else and he really doesn't care where they go
And it is a solution isn't if we just get rid of all the bad people to do all the crime and do all the fighting and all the shooting We would save a lot of money wouldn't we?
We'd save money on their incarceration We'd save money on Know the services that they just consume and suck up we could use those tax dollars for other things that are much more productive problem is this this is where I want us to Be particularly mindful
Suggesting something like that.
These are the people that we don't like Get them the hell out of here and prison may not be the answer because we're paying for that We want them gone out of our site And we shouldn't have to pay for them.
I've even heard people say give it over their section 8 housing now you all have never heard me Say we need to just quote-unquote get rid of people.
You're not gonna hear me say that I'm gonna suggest reforms I'm gonna try and look a little bit deeper what policies we can institute
I want to stay focused on something that the quote-unquote undesirables do have in common.
They're not literate.
They can't read.
If people can read, the world opens up to you in so many different ways and you have so many more opportunities.
If you can read and then hopefully you can critically think and then you'll get an education and life might be a little bit better for you.
So I'll stay focused on that instead of saying, oh no, we got to get rid of them and get them the hell out of here.
Ladies and gentlemen, that's where fascism begins.
And I want you to be mindful of that because black people
are sounding like any other fascist regime.
Now, I know this is not the majority of black people.
I know it isn't.
But if you sat an African-American down that's hard working, they're fighting hard to keep their head above water, rent is going up, groceries going up, gas prices are going up, and they're doing everything they can to follow all the laws and follow the rules.
Their vehicle is registered.
They don't want to register their place because it's expensive.
They feel hot.
$331 to register my place.
Oh, by the way,
Can you all remind me that I need to register my place because they expire on September 30th?
Wouldn't that be crazy?
All this mess that I'm talking about people needing to register their vehicle and I don't register mine.
Wanting to remove people is not a new concept.
Wanting to harm people or take things away from them.
Like take away their section eight Take away their Their snap benefits because all they're doing is cheating the system Wanted to remove folks from a society Is a kind of ethnic cleansing and we are engaging in it with very little remorse having such a simple response To what is a complicated problem
It's precisely what fascism is and I can look at this from a different perspective.
There's a number of people in this country.
A diverse group.
They think that people coming over here from across the border is aiding in crime.
Their wages, they accept low wages, so they're bringing down everybody else's wages.
They're taking jobs.
These are things that are understood by millions and millions of people.
So Donald Trump is like, oh, first he said, let's build a wall.
Very simple solution to a complicated problem because we actually need a certain amount of immigrant labor We even need a certain number of immigrants to come to attend our colleges and universities So we can churn out educated people that can help run this day in world because Americans right now Most Americans don't even academically qualify to get into some of the finest institutions of higher education And we need people getting that education because these are the folks that are gonna help
Foster and shape the future of our world But it's a simple Solution to a complex problem because I can hear a Trump or say you know what sure when these these Somalians get need to get out of here these Muslims and all their Sharia law They need to get out here because they are undesirable people.
We want to get rid of them Do you know how many incidences of ethnic cleansing have taken place just in the 20th and 21st century
And I want to, I'm going to recite those for you because we, I'm not going to say we collectively, a few of us sound just like that, but this is where it comes from.
You want the undesirables gone.
I want them out of here and you can turn a blind eye if there's somebody willing to oblige us.
Sometimes it's the police.
Sometimes it's the correction system because they will definitely 1994 crime bill.
I can almost look at it as a form of ethnic cleansing because black folks wanted that.
We wanted the drug dealers gone.
We wanted the crack gone.
The gang violence gone.
Instead of looking at the conditions because at the time we were not aware of our CIA's involvement in the guns and the drugs and all that other stuff But we wanted those people going what we said and we called our mayors And we called members of the state Senate in the state assembly We called members of Congress and US senators put together a crime bill that gets rid of these people Lock them up throw away the key three strikes in your out mandatory minimums mandatory life sentences
And it was black folks that called for that first, but I get it because we want safe communities.
We don't want to be interrupted and disrupted by people that look like us, that live right next door to us, that are getting in the way of us having a positive quality of life.
We as black people do support, to some extent, a level of ethnic cleansing.
I'm not trying to make you feel bad about this.
I'm trying to let you know this is where it comes from.
We just don't want these people here.
They're not like us.
Kendrick said it to Drake Trying to ethnically cleansed the biracial Canadian with a very well-trimmed beard He is not like us and what you have to do though is you got to dehumanize the people so that everybody hates them You got to see them as something less than human If you listen to black talk radio long enough a topic will come up where black people will be very very angry and outraged by other black people We will say all sorts of things about them
We dehumanize them because when someone is no longer seen as human, then we don't have any humanity for them.
And I'm not saying I'm not trying to tell people to stop thinking that way.
But just realize that ethnic cleansing and then genocide start this exact same way.
You may not believe it.
I don't expect you to.
But it starts with a group of people that we don't like.
It could be their religion.
It could be their culture.
It could be because their pants are hanging on down.
It could be because they walk around the city of Milwaukee with a pistol hanging out the pocket.
Whatever the reason is, we want them gone.
We don't ever want to see them ever again.
If there's someone who's willing to take the garbage out for us, we'll deem that person a hero.
Take a break, come back and talk to Dr. Tamika Johnson.
Oh, really?
Oh, she's OK.
Tameka to me am I saying it right dr. Tameka Johnson I Guess she worked here before we're here.
We're working at one on one seven truth.
I might be confused Yep, you might be we're having some problems today.
We'll be all right Dr. Johnson you hang on maybe I shouldn't have said her whole damn name on the air Oh, no, she wanted it.
She wanted it like that.
All right Well, look hang on.
I'm gonna take a break.
I'm gonna come right back to you the truth was sure when he was a be right back
The Truth with Sherwin Hughes returns after this on 1017 The Truth, the Truth app and 1017thetruth.com.
This is The Truth with Sherwin Hughes on 1017 The Truth, the Truth app and 1017thetruth.com.
I am doing well
What's on my mind?
I agree with everything you're talking about when you said ethnic cleansing But I found it a little insulting that the truth radio has one of the very people who Participate in ethnic cleansing parade herself on the platform as if she's done anything But destroyed the black family and that's judge Rebecca Dallas
She climbed her way up the ladder by overly censoring black people for the same crimes that white people commit.
She does not have conversations with anybody black in the community unless she wants to be on a platform to promote her political views.
She is a racist.
She ran a kangaroo court.
You guys need to do your homework before you put somebody to parade.
I see people taking pictures with her posting her on social media like she's done the black community a favor.
She has done nothing but destroyed families.
And I've been fighting against people like her and the corruptions in the court for over a decade.
It's insulting that y'all let her parade herself up there like she's not a part of the mass incarceration of not only guilty black men, but innocent black men and destroying black families.
Rebecca Dallett is a poison and has always been.
And she's been she got elected on the Supreme Court because she used a black faith to get black people to vote for her.
You didn't see her again after she was elected.
And now here she go again.
Her time is running up.
And now here she goes again on Black radio 10 plus years later.
It's an insult.
It's an insult.
Yes, she's part of the ethnic cleansing of Black people.
She's always played that role.
That's how she climbed up the ladder.
I
with it.
Okay.
I know Sherwin.
I know you didn't.
I agree with what she was saying.
No, I just want to get on the platform and let Judge Dallard, if she's listening, how disgusting I am with her to even parade herself on our platform in Milwaukee when you would never see her in the city of Milwaukee for anything else but using black faces to give votes.
She's an insult.
And everybody on that Supreme Court that backs her up or anybody in the judicial system that backs that woman up She's a Karen and always been one
No, I don't
else to say I just want Rebecca Dallin if Rebecca Dallin want to ever be warming up to sit down and meet with me I've been trying to get a meeting with her for over 10 years
and she still don't want to have a conversation about the errors in the corruption that took place in her court when she was in the lower court.
She don't want to have those conversations about the black family she destroyed and the innocent people she incarcerated.
Thank you.
Have a
Okay.
She told us how she felt.
So full disclosure.
Couple of things about justice.
I remember when she was running to be on the Circuit Court, the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, the position on the bench she held before she was elected statewide to be on the State Supreme Court.
And you know who ran against her to try and stop her?
Because once you get on the Circuit Court, then your next logical step is the State Supreme Court, and then maybe just maybe the U.S.
Supreme Court.
But if you want to stop somebody's upward trajectory professionally,
You defeat them in a Milwaukee County election for circuit court.
You know her who her opponent was I believe she got elected to the circuit court in 2006 Somebody can verify that Jeff Norman the current police chief Ran against Rebecca Dallett to try and stop her From getting on the circuit court.
So she gets elected to the circuit court our current police chief
I didn't do very well in that campaign.
It's just very tough for an African-American man to get elected to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
A lot of times because our participation as African-Americans is really, really low in judicial races, we'll talk about that another time.
So when she was running for the State Supreme Court, I was at WNV and I sat down with her.
I was very angry when I sat down with her.
My sentiments may have matched that of dr. Johnson and let me tell you why There was a case where an African-American man on 35th and silver spring he was at a Citgo gas station now at the time This Citgo gas station was known and that area was known for like a high drug trafficking activity a high crime area, okay
a police officer drives past that Cisco and here's what makes us even more ironic.
I know the cop that drove past this gas station on roughly 35th and Silver Spring.
The individual, this African-American man who I did not know, sees the cop and darts across the street to a bus stop.
Okay, now you gotta imagine, it's at night.
In an area known for activities, okay a lot of calls for service a lot of people call the police at least at that time This is probably 2009 2010 Rebecca Dallett was on the circuit court So the police officer sees this black man dart across the street from the Sitco gas station to the bus stop cop turns around cop essentially pulls up right next to the guy at the bus stop
Who was not pretending that he is waiting on the bus?
But he wanted to get the hell out of that gas station because he believed that that police officer might have pulled into the gas station So he was probably I don't know trying to get on the next bus that came cop season go across street cop searches him Finds a pistol Now hold on no There was no specific call relating to that man that ran from the gas station to the bus stop
The cops just thought he looked suspicious because he's in an area that's known for a lot of activity Cop searches him finds a pistol.
He's a felon Okay That case ends up in Rebecca Dallett's court.
I Think judge Dallett gave him seven years Felon with a gun.
Okay, it's better the individual the man who
ran across the street from the Citco gas station in a high activity, high crime area to the bus stop, cop season, cop loops back around, searches the guy, finds a pistol.
So maybe the guy was legitimate and wanted to run from the police, not even run from the police, but get out of the parking lot of that Citco gas station where I believe he was actually loitering.
He filed for an appeal and the appellate court let him go because he never should have been stopped and frisked in the first place.
But Rebecca Dalla gave him seven years, but when appeals court heard that case, you left that man out of jail immediately.
And so when I asked her about that, when I sat down with her, when she was running for the state Supreme Court, she denied and denied and deflected.
She said, well, Lena Taylor is endorsing me.
So is Latanya.
This is the truth with Sherwin Hughes on 101 7 the truth the truth app and 101 7 the truth.com
Welcome to our two of the truth with Sherwin Hughes I'm gonna check the poll in just a second, but let's read a couple of the YouTube comments, shall we?
mile the elephant says sure when those undesirables you mentioned do not steal other people's cars they are labeled undesirable because they are poor so mile let's draw a distinction okay I don't care what your financial status is if you steal a car you're undesirable
They would be put into what Hillary Clinton called and I agreed with Hillary when she said it when people were mean to her she called them a basket of deplorables
a man sister they are
They tried to overthrow the US government and people got offended that they were called Deplorables that's what deplorable is so people that do deplorable things are undesirable
If I was to ask a regular average hardworking person who's just trying to feed their family and pay their mortgage and pay their rent What should happen to someone that steals your car and you got a job interview?
You're rushing to get to the job interview not just on time but a little bit early because that's what Bailey Coleman requires If any of you are ever applying for a job to Bailey Coleman's company, you better be early
Don't be on time be early And this person who's got this job interview Walks out to the driveway or walks out to where they last parked their vehicle on the Even address side of the road because the date on the calendar is an even date and Their vehicle is gone.
You ask that person What should happen to the individual that not just stole their car, which is a felony
It stifled them of an opportunity to get a better, higher paying job.
That individual would want that person that stole their car to be evaporated, and I can totally understand that.
Now, in a civilized society, we don't do that, but I assure you, if you ask that person that, you know, is the victim, because nobody really cares about the victims, I think we do way too much.
It's a coddle and it's a help and to support people that have harmed us.
Instead of helping the people that were actually harmed because we're afraid of criminals, we're scared of them.
And that's exactly how the hell they want it.
We got to give them a job and we got to give tax credits to businesses that'll hire people that have 37 felonies.
No, we got to make sure that they have transitional services.
And the victim is over here suffering.
If you ask the person who just got their car stolen or on their way to a job interview, they can't go to the job interview.
They've lost an economic opportunity.
What should happen to the person that stole their car?
Do you honestly think they're going to say, well, they probably need counseling and therapy and maybe a deferred prosecution agreement?
You really think that?
So if you do undesirable things, you would be considered undesirable because I'm not saying this just poor people.
Most poor people Don't really do a lot of bad stuff.
They don't they're poor.
I can't really do a lot Can't go to summerfest that's for sure summerfest is very expensive and parking too.
It's a drag I'm gonna put this on poverty what poverty does is it can create an environment In which standards are different cultures are different customs are different expectations are different there could be in this
Environment a lack of morality where people really don't care about the law or they they're rebelling against the system They put them in their negative economic state, but that doesn't mean the poor people are going to commit crimes So I'm never going to Make that parallel that because someone is poor the likelihood may increase but also poor people are much more likely to be victims too because they don't really have much of a defense who defends poor people really nobody
But if you do undesirable things especially in a community Where people look like you Now crime is about proximity you're gonna harm the people that are closest Because what they don't do the undesirables Is they don't go out to Greendale they don't go to Greenfield or Oak Creek or St.
Francis now there are crimes in those places Committed by people that probably also live in those places
But what some African-American criminals don't do is they don't sit around and say, you know what?
Let's go to Monomony Falls and terrorize them.
Not every now and again, you may hear about it.
Got their stuff stolen.
Bobby Porter, they broke into his house.
But those were Venezuelans, though.
They caught them dudes on camera.
But it's very, very rare for someone to say, you know what?
I'm a black person, and I'm very criminal.
I'm a criminal black.
Let me go and do and let me go criminal the white people Let me go criminal on that and they don't do that They pick easy targets with proximity and I would call those people Undesirable because guess what when they commit that crime we're paying for it when they shoot somebody or better yet when they get shot We're paying for that too and maybe they get caught maybe they don't when they get incarcerated
We're paying for that.
Not only when they get incarcerated, we're paying for it.
They're gonna get their GED if they want to.
They're gonna get their high school diploma if they want to.
Hell, they might learn a trade in the joint.
Come out and get a job in the trade in which they studied in the joint and their victim is still dealing with the trauma of what happened to them.
That doesn't make a fair society to me.
It does not.
Now, I know that's what we're supposed to do.
We're supposed to be fair and moral people.
And when somebody goes to the jail place, we want to rehabilitate them and we want to welcome them back to the society.
So literally give them everything that they opted not to get or receive or search for or work for while they are on the outside.
We'll take their freedom.
It's worth them.
We'll lock them up so they have no freedom.
Then they get an education.
Does that make any sense to you?
Where the education may have been available to them on the outside, but they finally take it seriously when they have no other choice.
and they have no more freedom something about that don't sit well with me because like we have to force people and folks will tell you when they come out of jail they're like oh wow that was a good experience for me I needed that because they got services and resources that most people who are on the outside can never get and the victims get essentially nothing somebody could commit a crime against another human being go to jail serve 10 years learn a skill learn a trade come out
Get a job make money because we want to turn around story.
We want to come back story.
We love a good comeback story But now they might be making seventy five eighty ninety thousand dollars a year and that's great because they turn their life around They were a bad person.
They did bad stuff then went to jail They harmed other black people which to me is an egregious offense because there's enough stuff harming black people already, you know what our biggest enemy if I had to just Narrow it down.
I just want to give people a better perspective.
Oh, how many things
On our enemies list is black people and some y'all are gonna say white people and racism You'll say all that cliche stuff like our biggest enemy quite honestly table salt
Bissero belly fat that that right there Being obese Probably gonna kill more black people than
I shouldn't even say a white cop.
Did Joseph Mensa kill a lot of people?
He killed two people, right?
Or he shot one.
He shot a guy in a park.
That people were real mad about that.
I think his name was the guy who he shot last name was Anderson.
That was a big deal when that story came out.
Ho, ho, ho.
And so my cousin actually knew the guy the guy shot.
John Anderson, maybe something Anderson.
And then Joseph Mensa, when he worked for the Wauwatosa.
Either Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department and Joseph Menza's black African black fella From Africa, I don't know if I don't know are they black?
You're African a little different.
That's they're got a different country different ethnicity different language different culture I Don't know if you're the same.
I know they want to lump us all together like oh, you're from the Caribbean you're black Nitty might take issue with that, but we're not the same because culturally I think that's what matters
Racially, we're black.
Ethnically, we can be a whole bunch of other stuff.
But just like we lump together LGBTQ, like some of them folks in them alphabets literally hate each other.
But we're like, oh, they're all in there together.
And they're the same.
Xavier, you'd like to add to the discussion, don't you?
Yeah, I've shot in big African weddings, right?
And they get down.
Yes.
Yes.
But they do not identify with us.
They look down upon us.
We're actually OK with it.
I don't mind.
They say we have no culture and all this other stuff, even though they pretend to dress like us and listening to all our same music.
But what I don't like, and this is their opinion, because I don't care.
I'm not going to lose any sleep over in Africa.
Sharon, we do not like to listen to your show because you are always talking so bad about the African shut up.
I am sorry, but I have very strong opinions.
You came from a third world country and now you're here And you don't like us the reason why you're even able to be here is because we fought and marched and died and voted and Did all that now you can just come over here and hate us You don't know your history.
You don't know yours either Abdul Now I'm not over here like oh all black people got to love each other stop Look at a damn poll him here.
Tell you what?
This is ethnic cleansing in real time
The question is, should we remove undesirables from our city?
78% of the people say yes.
Now, I want you to understand, though, that term undesirable, people that do undesirable things.
We're sick of hearing about the shootings, the fatal shootings, the non-fatal shootings, and the home invasions, and the car jackings, and the car thefts.
We had to redesign the damn streets of the city of Milwaukee because people don't like to stop at stop signs and don't like to drive the posted speed limit.
We had to reengineer $80 million at cost.
We spent more money off the window.
That's money that wasn't invested in education, wasn't invested in job creation, wasn't invested in nothing.
We had to redesign, we had to put in a bunch of bike lanes and hope that people wouldn't drive in the bike lane.
News flash, people sometimes drive in the bike lane.
I will never admit to driving in the bike lane unless I really need to drive in the bike lane, but you got to catch me first.
This is where fascism comes from and let's not think it's just a white thing or a European thing in fact some of the most egregious examples of ethnic cleansing Guys ever hear of an African country called Rwanda Where black people were slaughtering one another the Rwanda's tootsie population
Who two extremist leaders attempted to eliminate Rwanda's tootsie population, which they don't even know how many at minimum they killed 500,000 to a million people and These are black people.
These are at countrymen same country Just slaughtering each other.
Oh, I saw some Documenting where the bodies were stacked up three and four high just on the side of the road chest
Like, this stuff exists.
I know that, you know, we don't see ourselves as being that extreme.
It's got a genesis.
It has to start somewhere by us saying, boy, do I really hate these people.
I want these people gone.
I want us to get rid of these people.
We try mass incarceration.
That doesn't work.
We're trying deporting people.
Like, you're literally watching ethnic cleansing going on right now, and I think to some extent we actually agree with it.
Now, this is not a judgment call on what is right and what is wrong.
I'm just trying to give the snapshot of where fascism is born, and it's always going to be here.
As long as you have human beings that differ, there's some people that don't want the gays here.
I don't mind them.
I'm not.
I figure if a guy's gay doesn't like women, well, more women for me and Xavier.
They like the party, too.
Yeah, you got to be careful if you party with the gays because before you know it should be wearing a wig and makeup
you say you've been to What's that thing called it was called?
I don't want to say
This
is it Yes, I've never been to the college though, but I come to find out that most of my straight Guy friends have been to the college.
It's not that I haven't gone because I'm it's just in the evenings in which I've been out The college was not on the list of places, but they go there because of the straight women
Oh, yeah, it's a lot of freaks at La Cache.
They have what do they call those?
Swinger parties there.
They got swingers at City Hall, bro.
Trust me.
Really?
Oh, God.
Lord have mercy.
Yeah.
But this is it.
It is.
Now it's closed now.
It was shocked to a lot of people.
That place has been open since the 60s.
Straight women could go there and dance.
and not only feel safe I saw intoxicated women straight women at a gay bar dance club get aggressive with men like men would get aggressive with women because these women think like oh I can flirt with them I can touch them I can grab them I can grind on them they're not interested in me sexually but I can have a lot of fun and still feel
shielded from their sexual advances it's almost kind of predatory and some of those gay men would absolutely oblige these straight women and you know what it would be a lot of a bachelorette parties they go to this is it and just would act like complete
and
gentlemen don't let her have a bachelorette party you've been warned because it's not up to her what happens bro
It's her
freak friends ladies I probably shouldn't say this is might be bad for business, but Don't let your man Have a bad surprise At some point Like 95% of my friends were married in fact in our big social circle like the people I grew up with hung out with socially It was myself and only one other guy that was unmarried everybody else's not half of them are divorced more than half them are divorced now
But I went to oh my god, I started going to bachelor parties even before I was 21.
I had some friends got married hella early There was a I don't want to connect this to a person I saw some stuff So this a guy went to high school grew up with this dude Was marrying at the time into a family That was I would consider them and you if I shared the name you may
agree with this sentiment, like really up high in the hierarchy of powerful Wisconsin families.
And he was just a dude from Brown Deer, but met this lady that was way out of his league, way above.
I think she went slumming one night and met him and he's a great dude.
I said, she, she was not, he was not comparable to her in status at all.
Okay.
So he proposed to her because that was the smartest thing he ever could have did.
And he has bachelor party at his bachelor party because sometimes it's customary for the father-in-law So the father of the bride will come and then the brother-in-law.
So the brides brothers will sometimes attend the bachelor party Now a lot of bachelor parties are due to go to Brewer game You know, though, I don't know go bar hopping or whatever.
It's never anything.
It's it's rarely scandalous So that's the kind of bachelor party
Where you invite the father-in-law and the brother cuz y'all we bond they can be a lot of fun So the guy that put this bachelor party together I Don't want to say his name because a lot of people I grew up when went to high school would listen to my program and the if you grew up with me You know exactly which bachelor party I'm talking about because it made It made brown deer headlines and we were young too.
I think he was 21 I was 20 and we had it at somebody's house.
So our guy his parents are out of town
He's like yo, we'll have so-and-so's bachelor party at my house in my basement cool So his best man was another dude that we grew up with and the best he's nuts the best man is like you can't trust this dude for anything So he he didn't hire What's normal is like you hire stripper, you know used to call services and they bring stripper and it's all it's professional I guess and
A bouncer comes out and the girls need their area where they change and they come on, they do a little game.
They rarely get fully new, just topless and they just do whatever and they leave after a half hour or an hour.
Well, the best man who was in charge of putting together the bachelor party, he didn't get exotic dancers.
Dude hired straight up escorts.
And when I say.
Things transpired at that bachelor party.
So where the father-in-law and the brothers got up and left Oh all we stayed no no no don't don't get me wrong.
I didn't go anywhere everybody else stayed but my word don't If I was to get married I
would again
At some point before my wedding my friends because we tricked the bachelor.
They never know Sometimes they know most of the time they don't like a man.
What are you guys doing tonight?
Oh, why don't you call to my house?
We'll have some drinks.
We'll go out.
Okay, dude Don't even know that this is his bachelor party.
You may not know because men can have multiple bachelor parties.
You have different groups of friends Next thing you know, we got a party bus outside He's like, what are you guys doing?
I didn't know that we were gonna shut up get on the bus and then God help him
Be a don't that's an undesirable person to have a bachelor party.
I'm gonna take break come back Do you guys want the undesirables gone apparently according to the YouTube poll you absolutely do I want you to know and be aware and I'm gonna give you some more familiar examples of This kind of fascism and I'm not calling black people or people that want the undesirables removed
I just want you to understand how incredibly common it is.
The problem is when it turns political, because now it's in our politics.
One of the reasons why a lot of African-American men justify voting for Trump, obviously economic issues like all these people are coming over here and taking our jobs, they ain't taking our nan job from us that we want.
But that is also us expressing politically with our votes.
Voting for the person who is helping to ethnically cleanse the United States of America I also would argue getting rid of DEI policies and affirmative action that ethnically cleanses because that looks that where African-Americans were held back and were marginalized and Erases all of those policies making lives For some dramatically more difficult and returning the United States to where it was before it was much more enlightened
about diversity policies.

Only on truth in the morning with Homer blowing Bailey Coleman Powered by we energies delivering the energy that powers local business Give you guys a couple examples The ethnic cleansing I think when I explain it in this context
It seems kind of evil that we want the undesirables gone.
Oh, by the way, let's check our YouTube poll.
And the question is, should we remove undesirables from our city?
78% of you say yes.
I get it.
You want them gone because we do think of these people.
I'm already othering them.
It's not like us.
They're destructive.
They're harmful to the culture.
They're harmful to our image.
And they are harmful to our progress.
And they are exceptionally expensive.
We got to feed them.
We got to house them.
We sometimes have to incarcerate them.
And they are tremendous drain on our society now.
We're supposed to be decent people and we're supposed to be moral people and have a tremendous amount of affection for them and all they've They've gotten the short end of the stick and we need to help them and we need to invest more in them and more and them and more and them and we do and we get the same results so People will come to a logical conclusion.
We just got to get rid of them.
That is about a simple a societal solution as you can ever come up with let's just
Let's get rid of them 1948 Israel Palestine during the war surrounding Israel's creation roughly 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from their homes Historians dispute the degree to which this represented a centrally planned comprehensive expulsion versus a combination of expulsion military operations fear and flight
Palestinians call the displacement knock by Ethnic cleansing cuz they're both semites They are Being an Arab is a Semitic religion.
So is being a Jew.
They don't like each other.
They're actually trying to ethnically cleanse one another Russia the Chechens
The Crimeans and other minorities now remember these are white people Okay, so ethnic cleansing oftentimes is white people getting rid of white people and black people want to get rid of black people They will probably try to frame the Holocaust differently I don't because those Jews were white people in Eastern and Western Europe You know Germans are white don't tell them any different and they tried to be even
They wanted all of the they didn't like blacks either they didn't like gays no gays went to the concentration camps you know the gay Germans they didn't like them either but that was an ethnic cleansing it was taken to the extreme but it starts with propaganda starts with things like crystal knocked it starts with
um demonizing the jews because they owned a lot of banks and they had a lot of money and they blamed the jews on the downtrodden german economy and hitler was like i'm gonna bring the economy back they're hurting our economy is that sound familiar these people wherever it is that they come from they've come to germany and they're ruining they are they're poisoning the blood of a nation donald trump said that too
They're destroying our economy.
They're taking our jobs.
They're very unfair to Germans Don't we sometimes talk about minority and immigrant populations like that here in the United States?
We do because it's all the same thing Nazi occupied Europe Jews Romas and others Nazi Germany forcibly reordered the ethnic composition of occupied Europe through ghettos deportations population transfers and ultimately
Systemic extermination, Jews were deported from across Europe to ghettos and killing centers, the Nazi occupation from 1939 to 1945.
The Ottoman Empire, Ottoman authorities deported Armenians from much of Anatolia, conducted mass killings and subjected deportees to lethal marches roughly.
664,000 to 1.2 million Armenians died.
The government sought to eliminate the substantial Armenian presence and consolidate Muslim Turkish dominance in Anatolia.
And I'll be honest with you, in history class, never learned a single thing about the Armenian genocide.
Didn't know about it till I met an Armenian woman, and she was very angry.
She's like, shut it!
When do you know what my people have gone through?
I was like, no.
What have they gone through?
Customs?
I don't know.
You don't know?
I didn't know.
You never heard of the young Turks?
There's a
Oh, no, no, that's a thing with the Armenian genocide.
You know,
know my
role clearly you do what this is actually how I am infusing world history because I have to make it make sense locally because if we can identify ethnic cleansings that happen other places and undesirable people that the group I guess of desirables wants to remove
Then I think it makes a lot of sense because I hear it constantly.
Right here on one on one, seven truths.
Sure.
When we got to get rid of these people, let's ship them out somewhere.
You know, these people that come up here from Chicago.
Now, when it comes to that, we might need to ethnically cleanse the Chicago ones.
But just go back to Chicago.
Why are you here?
Chicago offers more.
There's more in Chicago.
Why are you here?
We didn't ask you to come.
What are you doing?
Why?
Why?
You don't need to be in Milwaukee.
What is Milwaukee even going to do for you?
Nothing why if you're gonna come from Chicago, maybe we should vet them We should stand at the border of Illinois and Wisconsin and obviously we got to check IDs and check backgrounds Okay, I see you're from you're from Chicago and you want to you want to go where I want to go to Milwaukee?
Kind of three-year waiting list in the meantime hang out and race scene until we can get to your application
1974 Cyprus Greek and Turkish Kriper Yitz the Turkish invasion following a Greek backed coup produced a de facto territorial separation Greek Kriper Yitz fled or were to spate this place southward and Turkish Kriper Yitz northward another Example of ethnic genocide.
Oh, here's another one.
There's a lot of Serbian people.
I don't know if you guys know the huge Serbian population huge Czech population in Milwaukee
relatively big Bosnia primarily Bosniaks croats and Serb controlled areas Slovidan Milosevic like we America went and bombed It's not Yugoslavia anymore.
What is split the Czech Republic Slovenia?
Whatever the hell it was because they were trying to ethnically cleanse people This these are white people though that don't want other white people.
Which what do you want me to do about that?
That's sounds like a family drama
Bosnian Serb forces between 1992 and 1995 use murder detention camps rape destruction and forced removal to create ethnically homogeneous territory about a hundred thousand people were killed in the war at sub-sebranica up to 8,000 Bosniac men and boys were killed and atrocity internationally adjudicated as a genocide
Bosniak and Kroat forces also committed ethnically-based crimes against civilians, though the largest organized cleansing campaign was conducted by Bosni and Serb forces.
And then, of course, this one.
Rwanda, the Tutsis.
Who two extremist leaders attempted to eliminate Rwanda's Tutsi population between 500,001 million people?
Overwhelmingly, Tutsis were murdered in roughly a hundred days.
Woo!
That's putting in some work.
Tutsis were murdered in a hundred days.
Moderate Hutus were also targeted.
How do you kill 500,000 people?
Well, I saw a hotel in Rwanda.
They were just hacking people.
That was brutal and again, these are black people killing all the black people They're like, oh, can we all just get along and march together like no I want you gone.
You're an undesirable You damn tootsie you whatever that is.
I mean they're an ethnic group, but they're all still black.
They're all the same countrymen and women So the idea of wanting undesirables removed is as old as humanity itself.
I just I am here So point it out so that folks recognize when we hear about these atrocities that happen somewhere else
It starts with us wanting to get rid of those we deem undesirable.

I ain't gonna risk it.
Y'all ain't gonna kill me Everybody else has a co-host.
I mean I gotta do it all on my own.
I'm kind of your
You know, when you're when you're gone, I always put up polls.
Oh, should Xavier speak just to, you know, gauge some, you know, get some fan engagement going, you know, while you're gone.
And
Oh, they say they want to hear me speak.
They do they want to hear my beautiful voice serenade their
of them.
Ruthless.
Yeah, some are saying he doesn't have the skill to do it.
Do
it?
Honestly, I wouldn't want to be a radio show host because
I don't want someone telling me who to interview or what questions to ask or, you know, you can't say this, you can't say that.
I like to be completely unfiltered.
So you can do that.
You can just anybody can start a podcast.
Trust me.
Anybody has.
Oh, yeah.
I started a YouTube channel.
But if you want to be involved in the commercial endeavor of radio, sometimes you got to do stuff.
You know what I mean?
But I've never had my my content.
Like impacted like, oh, sure.
When you have to say this, like I'll say some things and I might say after fact, hey, sure.
And don't say that again.
I can and will refuse interviews.
So when we were owned by good karma brands, oh, I used to let them have it.
So we had a whole bunch of other shows.
And, you know, back in the day, our hosts were not, they weren't very experienced.
They weren't.
And if there was ever like a political interview, and at the time we did more political interviews than we do now, way more, several a week, they would always put the candidates to the elected officials.
on my show and I'd be like y'all are like over burdening me with these damn interviews spread them around like well no Sherwin because you know you're so much better at it you should do it how are my colleagues ever going to get better unless they do political interviews and so I had to tell them I'll be like I'm whoever it is that you're trying to schedule they're gonna be sitting outside because I'm not gonna let them in the studio because y'all need to allow other folks to get experience and sometimes you can be a victim of your own success
But sure, when you interview so well, until I don't interview them well, because I could botch the interview up in a second.
Oh, but I don't want to do that, though.
You know, because I have to be responsible for the listening experience that people get.
The other thing to talk host Homer taught me this years ago, you have to listen to your own shows.
You've got to play them back.
Most hosts don't do that because they hate the way they sound.
Good.
Good.
I want you to hate the way you sound.
So then do your show so that you love the way you sound.
Oh, I used to hate it.
Used to hate listening to my show.
I, oh, I said that I can hear myself breathing and I hear all sorts of stuff.
I was like, ooh, I said that.
Sometimes I talk too fast.
But then when you listen, you're like, okay, I'm going to slow it down a little bit or I'm going to have a better transition a little bit or I'm going to take a call from Al.
You're on one on one seven the truth.
How are you?
Yeah, I'm doing wonderful.
Al, your phone is breaking up on us, buddy.
In fact, we can't hear you at all.
Oh, you can't hear me?
We can hear you now.
Go
ahead.
Yeah, I know you were talking about, you know, black people wanting certain people to go with fascism.
But my question is, is how long do black people supposed to suffer?
How are they going to get ahead when they're constantly taking losses?
Like, you know, we would want, I mean, it's to the point that white people are safer, more safer than we are.
And it's kind of always like black people should kind of take losses.
So how long do black people supposed to suffer?
no we can get it we can get our heaven now but we should not have to settle because somebody who looked like us make the free will and the decision not to be an asset to society we should not have to suffer because he or she don't want to live you know raise a kids or they want to act like they got kicked off the back of the bus or they got loose from the case that's not our battle
And so it's a lot of people taking losses.
Think about the mother or father who worked 30, 40, 50 years and they got their car tow up and ain't nobody coming with no insurance.
And some people say, well, that's insurance is made for, but that's if I tear it up.
Well, think about the person who just want to walk down the block and.
They can't even do that because you got a bunch of people who didn't learn the people in the neighborhood and didn't nobody want to use their mouth as an abortion clinic or somebody didn't want to eat the kids out and now the people in the neighborhood got to deal with the fact that now they're losing value with their house because don't nobody want to say no and say put it on the mattress and not inside me.
So how long do black people supposed to take a loss?
They want a den den.
They want a king pie.
You know, they want a Panera.
They want a zoops of super.
They can't get that if you got hair, weave eyelashes.
Hey, you mother, get your air map in there.
They're not going to get that.
So do we want the investments or do we want to look like South Weloitte?
more?
Would you live around that or would you just move away to the suburbs?
If I lived in a place that I was uncomfortable and it was unbearable and I didn't feel safe, I would get the hell out in a second.
Don't know if the suburbs would be the place.
I might just move to a different part of the city Probably to a different where the people are of a different class because it's more class because there's expectations of of Behavior when it comes to class as opposed to race so I wouldn't I don't live around white people because they're annoying a Lot of
your grandparents
And some mothers grew up in poverty, but they had class and pride.
So what's the difference back then than it is now?
And they didn't have the technology, but they had pride.
And I think the people now are just being individuals.
You don't.
There was a way in which people kind of like curtailed their worst impulses.
They were respectful.
They were nice because that is what the predominant culture was.
Respectability.
Now, black folks, because we have more rights, we have more opportunities, we have a lot more money, we can be our full individual selves, even if that hurts and offends people.
And that is what the culture is now, as opposed to back then, everybody is nice and kind and they go to church.
We know that some of that was a veneer.
But the culture was you are respectable.
You leave the house looking good.
You put on your finest clothes.
You uphold yourself with a kind of honor because back then that's really all black folks had.
But we got a whole bunch of rights and a whole bunch of opportunities.
And the first thing to go, I think, was that respectability in that class.
But I got a goal.
Got to take a commercial break.
I do want to read some of your YouTube chats.
I'll read one before we take a little brief intermission.
D. Donald said.
White people go out of their way to keep people out of their neighborhood, involve realtors, avoid listing, jack up the price, and make it uncomfortable.
Other groups mind their business when you move in.
Nope.
Wrong.
I mean, other than the fact that it hurts us, why do you blame somebody if they don't want garbage in their neighborhoods?
Come on now.
Listen to me.
Here's what I hate.
I can drive through a damn suburb and why can't I tell where the black people live?
I can tell.
I shouldn't be able to tell.
Now, let's be clear.
Black folks are not thrilled when white folks moving Make it seem like we're always welcoming to them.
In fact when I see doesn't hit with the white folks doing my neighborhood They walk their dogs and that's how they look at see what houses are for sale.
They get get a feel for the neighborhood And next thing you know that white couple that I see Childless late 20s early 30s walking their dog on a Tuesday
They're moving in across the street on a Thursday because they don't want to spend all that money because here's the thing if they don't want to have kids and a lot of couples don't want to have kids because they'd rather have money Then you don't care about how bad the NPS school system is because if you're not having kids you'd rather get the chief real estate I live with stones throw away from why would so so that's why y'all see me and why would so so so often because it's just it's so close Same houses same layout same architecture same square footage built within the same five-year period from 19
20 to 1925 all the house looks exactly the same same house same square footage in Milwaukee is a hundred thousand dollars cheaper Property taxes are four or five thousand dollars cheaper per year.
Where do you think the white childless couple is going to move?
I'm gonna move into the black neighborhood.
I Don't necessarily like to see them coming because I get no net benefit from it They're not inviting me today damn barbecue not inviting me to their bar mitzvahs and their bot mitzvahs and just general general purpose white people parties
Not inviting me, so what good are you doing in the neighborhood?
And I don't necessarily need to live in a diverse neighborhood.
I need to live in a neighborhood where people have the same understandings of like, you know, shut up after 10 o'clock, turn the music down, pick up the garbage, shovel your snow.
I don't care what your race is, as long as you do those things, you don't do that, we got some problem.
Let's take a break, come back, figure out what we're gonna do with the undesirables.
I mean, history has given us a lot of options of what you can do with them, you know what I'm saying?
But now I don't think that we need to go that far, but we got to do something with them.
The truth with.
Sherwin
Hughes will be right back.
Was that a short break or was that a normal size break?
I got distracted in the bathroom.
I'm wearing gray sweatpants and they are obscene.
Like I get it now when women are like oh and men wear gray sweatpants, I don't even think about that.
You can, what would I call it?
You know how women have a camel toe?
I'm showing my mammal toe.
Pickle toe?
cover this thing up, but the camel is like, you know You know see the camel, you know It kind of looks like the thing so you got to have something that kind of looks like your thing So
I
get
again.
The Sierra know that Mamie's
I better tell her.
Hey, Sierra Mamie's coming.
I need to send her an email because.
I know she'll send me a strongly word email So I just gotta I don't want I'm not trying to make nobody mad my thing is I'm not gonna invite a guest on my program that I am not totally and completely responsible for anything they do I'm responsible
for if they say something if
they do something put it all on me because I'm not just gonna invite any old body to get on the air with me Y'all know how I feel about Mamie We gonna talk about
Food and food reviews and she goes all the restaurants in the black on restaurants and the soul food restaurants and she reviews them She gets chicken wings and collard greens and macaroni cheese and she reviews it in her car She's fantastic When I have her on the show tomorrow, I just don't know how to hell to get her in a building Because it's very easy to say hey just come into the first floor the market hall and then come to the door But then the door says no guests can come in through the door
Well, that's
Sierra's you'll
no no no I listen I had Joe Brennan When I had him on the show Joe Brennan he was late for the interview because he's at the damn front desk and because One-on-one seven the truth is not listed amongst their employees the young lady at the front desk was like yeah I don't see a shirt when he was even working here Joe was like yo I got an interview literally right now and if it wasn't for Kyle Wallace noticing Joe Brennan at the front desk I was like Joe I'll bring you down
But I saw I think it's this personal opinion.
I think it's ridiculous that we actually have to have a human being a staff person here to walk down our guests It's a time suck.
You know what I mean?
Like you gotta do all that just Over
here
Tell her to call in this easiest way.
You don't want to see her beautiful face and
break.
It's hard to tell people where to go because if you park on Wisconsin Avenue or King Drive Okay, where most people park because this parking structure is disaster Then they got to find an elevator to take they can't take the elevator on the market hall because you need a key card for that So they got to find another the other elevator Go up there go to the second floor and then they got that big huge touchscreen
Don't even know if my name is on the touchscreen.
I don't even know how any of that stuff works So it's just there's been a lot of issues with getting people in the studio And sometimes if I don't because then they get lost and here's what happened when I'm sure when I'm in the building I don't know how to get to you and they're texting me and calling me while I'm on the air and I'm trying to figure out how to finish my segment not be distracted and get my guest and sometimes the guests like I'll start the new segment and it gets like sure when I'm lost
Craig Barry who owns mr.. Bees and owns the atrium he was here for an interview I think he had it with he might have had it with Jasmine no with jazz somebody he was like sure when I left I Couldn't get in that's the worst
You are listening to the truth with Sherwin Hughes on 1017 the truth the truth app and 1017 the truth.com
Welcome to our three of the truth with me, Sherwin Hughes.
There was some unidentified objects that were flying above LA and our military launched off.
hundreds of Actually probably thousands of rounds at it it hit it but it didn't go down Actually people lost their lives because ammunition's fell on top
of their
houses and stuff like that, but that's not nice the battle of LA look it up guys
So yeah, I don't think they're worried
about
We're primates.

We got the Mamie Way coming on tomorrow.
She is a food reviewer.
She's
one of
She's so good.
She's entertaining and the way she gets all dramatic whenever she tastes something as good I'm gonna be doing this right here.
What's this thing that the women do they go like this?
Mmm, that's whoo.
That's tea.
They call everything tea face tea body tea I just don't know how I'm gonna get her in the building.
I don't even know how to explain.
Oh,
we got it.
We got it.
There's
No, we're gonna get her in
Oh
It's hard
well our captain Sierra She texted me and she's on it and she'll uh, she'll handle it for us We're gonna be good to go
Like I'm a guest arriving and I go out to that keypad they have on the second floor That's the hard thing telling people to come to that part of the second floor because it's harder to access if you're not coming from the parking structure Some people don't want to park in a park of structure and then when you do park in a park of structure if you park in the wrong place You'll never find the entry doors to the market hall and you can enter the market hall on the third floor and not because then now you got to go down a level to the second floor and it's just it's it's ridiculous
We don't need that much damn security.
We ain't that important Yes, then
you have some lady come sit in with you and said she could she got in here so easily
Why they why is nobody else eating and why is it been disregarded?
I don't want that sometimes people like fast food Yeah, but when it comes to something like that because it's usually more trouble than it's worth It ain't worth it and fellas once you get to a certain age you realize I shouldn't never even mess with that girl at all at the time.
It was a great idea
But then once you cross over to the other side and you involve yourself with them physically, like this was the stupidest thing I ever did.
Sometimes they say child
What I do calling me.
Seems like these women are really way more entangled in your life than they should be.
Because so many men especially on the internet throw themselves and are inboxing these women and all by you flowers like dudes that live across the country see a pretty girl on the internet, bro, she don't even look like that.
That's AI generated filters.
And then when a man is like, yeah, I'm not interested in you like, what?
I can't believe it.
Let me try harder.
You make yourself look gross.
Nobody want that.
If you're unobtainable, that's where the value is that, you know what I'm saying?
That's my thing.
But
some
I'm right there for it.
You sucker.
That reduces your value too.
Don't be an easy man.
We need to start acting like we're actually the prizes.
They want a good man to take care of them, to protect them, to provide for them.
Don't let women tell you, no different.
Because when it comes to the real hard responsibilities of a man, don't know a woman want to be burdened with that.
You all want equality until it comes to stuff like going to the draft.
Having to do heavy lifting and I don't want I'm just a girl, but I thought you wanted equality.
Yeah, but only the equality that I like No ladies you don't want it you do not you are better off Just finding a man that'll literally just take care of stuff where my mother was finding that out with my dad for 53 years the stuff that I gotta do I'm like pops
