From his album, The Hermit of Bink Hollow, that was the great Todd Rungren, all the children's
sing, and before that we heard from Kim Wilde, Kids in America, a song which recently
has been covered by a whole bunch of people for some reason.
Not sure why, but hey, it is a very, very good song.
Up next we have a controversial song, at least it was in the mid-1980s when it was released,
from a controversial band at the time The Smiths.
Now, this song tells the story of what's called the Moore's Murders that happened in Manchester
between 1963 and 1965.
In the song, Moore's name's three of the victims, now some of the families took exception
to this, and the single and the album that it was on was withdrawn, by a couple of different
department stores, and they wouldn't sell it because of that.
Interestingly enough, Moore's later became friends with one of the mothers of the murdered
child and convinced her that their intentions were honorable.
By the way, the title of the song comes from a snippet from the Gospel of Matthew.
