We're in a state of emergency. Unless a confusion. The danger is great. Explain the sea. Desperate times call.

for desperate solutions. Fear of love is fear of pain, baby. It's just an illusion. We've been wrong. We've been right. We've been up day and night like soldiers in revolution. We're like soldiers of revolution. There's a war going on in here.

Got a mind that's a better solution Just let it all heal I'll say something real Say something real, hey girl Say something real, won't you say something real, girl Say something real, doo doo, doo doo, baby Say something real

Say something new Say something new

Good morning. Good morning. What's happening? Family? Welcome to the show. It is Michelle. Brian here. WN OV 860 AM 106.5 FM. You are listening to say something real. And let me just start off by saying good morning to my folks checking in, tapping in on Facebook, YouTube. Good morning to everybody that's tuned in via regular radio. Everybody breathe.

Everybody breathe. They're going to be all right y'all. Everybody breathe. Because if the little faces of the fans at the game last night was any indication, those people sick were there with the band last night. Breathe, y'all. Now, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the term when it comes to baseball.

But I told y'all yesterday and I'm more cynical, you know now I'm acting like DJ and Jermaine I'm a conspiracy theorist They got to keep the money rolling It's too much money for this this have to have been a sweep and shut down and for And I'm not saying anybody, you know did anything like you know, but

I'm just saying the way the atmosphere works out. We. And there's a good chance because I didn't realize I thought that was coming back home tonight, but I didn't realize they had to read out in Tampa. So. But if the rest of y'all look like these two in the studio, I'll tell y'all.

to breathe. Yeah, a little like me because of what I was doing. What say Clark? A little like me because they were passing them drinks around. You say it was a little bit too much celebration going on. Too much celebration. Before the actual celebration. Right. Right. There's too much champagne. Well, you know, you gotta do what you gotta do. Good morning, Clark Kent. Who are you with? I'm a little slow this morning. Yeah, you know what? Sad like you're dragging a little bit this morning playing.

Uh, you good? You all right? Good, I have to say no. Most of the time. Who said I had to say no? No, no. I respect the restraint, though. I respect the brother who know their limitations now. Man, it was ridiculous.

It's only Tuesday. I got something to do always. I forgot who that was. I think that might have been Cat Williams when he said people was doing whatever he's doing. Cat Williams said, I got blight to do in the morning. I can't be honest. He said, what?

I got stuff to do in the morning. When they were hitting the home run, they were going to, I think what I want to say is, I want to say with a blue, some blue drink, they passed by everybody. I was like, I'm good. Let's say it just was a blue drink. Yeah. Nah, that's all right. That sound like some Omega oil. Have you ever had Omega oil?

Have you ever been to a queue party? You can either, it's either made in a garbage can or it's made in the bathtub. And I'll just let your imagination go from there. But we drank it in college. Oh wait, they drank it in college. I'll let it go from there. What's going on with you right now? How you doing this morning? Play? Yeah.

You know, it played hard. He's so pitiful. He's pitiful. It was all right. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we're the cleaning set. It was, it was, it was all right. Well, we can steal gentlemen's suite. Gentlemen's suite. Yeah, gentlemen's suite. For people that are not familiar with the term, help them out.

A regular sweep was for just dusty nasty. I mean, just get you up out of there. A genuine sweep is I'd be nice to you, but I'm still gonna knock you here. Yeah. So for one, for two, it's a genuine sweep. So we'll take it. Either way, let's go bros and bring this world series home because there's no telling what's the next time they gonna ever get back.

Well, I want to just tell you that I do love the term gentlemen. Sweet. Yeah, I feel a lot better about that. I mean, it depends on the team. Who we playing, you know, because how slick your mouth is. If you got a slick mouth, then I'm off. I'm off for the red. Look, and I just want to say.

That I saw some brothers with actual brooms Oh, yeah, propped up in a window And what I really like the regular housebrew that was dirty I was like The garage bro

Not the house bro, but he was dying laughing. He said I had to go I had to go man. You got this desk Yeah, he had it like the window was kind of cracked and he just had it like bleeding out The window driving around I was like, bro, what is you doing man? Yeah And you know you had to pay attention to know what he was doing when he was saying they was gonna sweep them yesterday

So he had I saw two dudes with brooms, you know, but they had them little whisk rooms Disney girl had a whole broom He just grabbed it out of the yard

I'm pretty sure this is the garage broom. You know, I got a garage broom outside broom. So anyway, and you know, it's bigger than outside. Let me just say this. You know, I'm not one who quickly adapts slang that younger folks use. Um, especially like, no, 17, 18, you know, I don't really grab a lot of they slide.

but every once in a while a word comes along that I absolutely or phrasing or where they they say it comes along that I absolutely love and I have done that with outside. I mean like they were talking about this morning and I got reminded because I was listening to a serious program on my way in this morning and they were talking about

the students and many of these HBCUs who are, you know, they have awakened the sleeping giant in terms of voter suppression and closing down these polling locations on these college campuses in predominantly black neighborhoods and or schools, you know, HBCUs. So these kids have been walking and holding full-fledged rallies to the polls.

And got the band involved, you know, the drum line is out there. I mean, like they straight up marching by the hundreds to go vote. It's it's a beautiful scene. That's a lot of people saw the photos that came out from videos that came out from North Carolina and a couple other HBCUs. But it's happening all over the country. And so I think it's something about these kids was like, oh, you trying to.

trying to close our polling locations thinking we're not going to show up. Oh yeah, we about to be outside. I love the use of and you can use it any kind of way. You know, uh, so I just, I'm like, yeah, I had to grab that one. That's become one of my favorites, but I got to take a quick break. Uh, somebody said a while, a wapa loosa drink, everything.

Hang on, Liz. Everything but the kitchen sink. 10 garbage cans late 60s UW Madison. See? Evidently. Evidently some people who know. Liz looked like she didn't mess with that.

I'm about to go back to her past. All right. I got to take a quick break. Michelle Brown WNO VA 68.106.5 FM. We'll be right back family. All right, family. Welcome back to the show. So it is early voting in person, early voting. If you have not voted, please consider going to vote between now and October 30th. Go to the polls. Please consider go voting. And I said 30th, but you know, you can go past the 30th.

Please consider going to vote and just get it out the way. You know, I feel so much better because with everything going on and, you know, rushing around, running around, I don't want to take the chance. I'm forgetting to vote. You can find a number of the polling site locations on the Milwaukee City of Milwaukee Election Commission website. I will actually mention where they are. Most of the polls close at 5 o'clock during the week, except on it looked like a Monday and a Thursday.

We saw some of the polling locations stay open until 7 7 30. So I'll pull up the exact list. But this is it. We are here. This is now crunch time. It is, you know, Jill TV weekend. Get out the vote weekend. This is it. We are now one, two, three, four, five, six, seven days away. We are seven days away from the election.

Seven or six days really because on the third that's the seventh day. So it's here We need to check for everybody make sure that your family is good The people that you know is suspect in your family that be talking and acting like they voting and you know You don't know for sure because you'll never see the vote sticker They can't never tell you what was going on at the polling location when they got there I've asked some people say some stuff and I knew like sir You did not this is not true

What you've described is not how any of this is set up. And you talking like you vote, but you didn't go vote. So we don't want that to be anybody's reality. Please, please, please. We'll be talking about throughout the course of the show this morning, but early voting in person is happening. No reason if you, you know, unless you got some crazy happening that you can't go get this taken care of. Mail in ballots at this point.

I need you bring them in. I need you give them to a drop off site. I need you to hand deliver them, drive up in your car to a polling location, and let somebody come out and get it from you. But we don't want to take a chance on stuff getting stuck in the mail and not getting to the election commission or to you, I'm sorry, to the county clerks on time. Let me go to the phone line. Hey, Caller, what's happening? My apologies for calling before it remains question. Yeah, you are right. I got to get to work.

I got three questions, Michelle. With all the billions of dollars that Citizens United has allowed for these campaigns, why aren't we seeing more early voting signs just throughout our community? Sometimes we, as people need reminders, you know, and you would think we're out of money. It can't be all on YouTube ads. Like, what are they using all of those donations and stuff for? My second question is,

Did you see the WhiteHouse.org Instagram account? They're using our song by Charlie Wilson Outstanding. And they got Kamala Harris singing, somebody playing the saxophone. And it's like a parody, but they're using our theme song to make fun of the Democrats. And then third, did you happen to listen to Keith Parris' show? He had someone on it that's running against Kwana Taylor.

And this is to her viewpoint about why she's a Republican, a Black Republican. And what I found scary was that we had a call or call afterwards and say, great interview, Keith, great interview. We need to hear both of those sides. And great questions. We can't just do Democrats only in a time like this right now. Y'all in this lady persuades y'all to have some doubt.

And she mentioned how she was part of a Greek organization, and she has her PhD, and she's done all this stuff that's very relatable, where you'll be like, okay, you go, girl. And so she opened her mouth and said, you know, just because we got Trump in office, I mean, I gotta change my views. Nothing against what Trump is doing, how he's hurting our community, only the fact that she has her right to beat opposition, and she's gonna make sure she sews that doubt.

in our community. So I was wondering if you had a chance to listen to her interview. Okay, Michelle. All right. Thank you, Carla. I appreciate it. So let me start with the easy one. No, I had not seen the White House parody, you know, using Charlie Wilson's music and making fun of the Democrats. The idea, first of all, that a taxpayer funded site is being used in this way is wholly inappropriate.

That site is not supposed to be used for partisan nonsense in terms of overt party partisan nonsense. So, you know, it would just be great if we had somebody that held these people accountable in these many roles that were put in place to do just that. So I haven't seen that. I'll go look for that and check it out. And then we're going to call Charlie Wilson so he can do a cease and desist letter.

In terms of Keith Parris's show, I did not hear the interview with Shandalin Reeves. I got to take a quick break, but I'll talk about Shandalin and the fact that she's running in the 11th Assembly District and kind of what the background is a little bit. So let me go to break and that'll be first up when we come back from the break.

All right, family, welcome back to the show. So just take it a quick second to wrap up the questions that was posed by the caller. So she talked about the interview that Shondelin Reeves did on Keith Parris's show. And had I had an opportunity to listen to it, I had not. But one of the things I will just tell people Shondelin and I'm sure she said that when she was on the.

During the interview is no stranger to running for public office. She has run for school board unsuccessfully and she ran for these the superintendent of public education DPI You know, I think that was her first run for actual office. So she is someone that has been around And has because somebody asked me had she run for a Democrat

before the seats that she had run for were nonpartisan seats. So if she had Democratic leanings, that wasn't a part of what the position she was running for. DPI is nonpartisan school board, nonpartisan races. So some folks were like.

kind of surprised, like, was she always a Republican? I don't know, Shandalin's background and information like that, but that's the way she's been listed for a while. In terms of her being on, we have a responsibility at the radio station to be fair and impartial in terms of who has access. Now, that does not translate to a commentator's personal commentary.

So I can say, as Michelle Bryant, that's why they say the views and opinions of this host don't necessarily reflect the station management, blah, blah, blah, or advertisers, because as the host and I'm an opinion host, the talk show host, I get to talk about these people and give my take on the issues. But as a radio station, we are required by law to make sure that there is equal access, that if a candidate reaches out and wants to come on the air,

Or, you know, in some cases, we even have to just offer and say, hey, we're doing X, Y, and Z, you know, would you like to come on? We have to do that by law. So it's not it's not a choice. It's not even though this station leans more progressive.

You know, we've had definitely Republican Republicans who've hosted shows at the station. Everybody know Will Martin. Everybody know Gerard Randall in terms of the folks that he's brought through here. Everybody know Meach, you know, when he did his show. So we we lean progressive. We lean, you know, more Democrat on the show. I mean, I'm sorry on this station. But that's just because of the people that sit behind the mic. The station itself is neutral.

the station itself, you got to make the platform open to everybody. And then the first question that she asked about what's going on since Citizens United, the use of money in elections. Why aren't we seeing more being done around early voting, signage, making sure people know that this is happening? You know, honest to God, don't.

fully understand always how and why decisions get made the way they do. You know, if people are looking at companies that are saying, look, more people, you'll get more attention on a social media post, a Roku post, you'll get more attention on here. But I haven't even seen a ton of commercials. You know, you talk about signs in the community. I haven't seen a ton of early voting commercials. I've seen.

Some private groups via social media remind people that it's early voting time, but paid aggressive. Like you would almost think that that could be something that the city could do just as a service to a citizens to partner up with these TV stations. I don't know how many of them need to be paid. How many of them need to be public service agreements because somebody can reach out to our radio station and ask us to run a public service announcement to say, hey.

early voting has started and, you know, it runs from this to this and this is how you get more information. But I don't know. It just seems like it's a lot of missed opportunities across the board. Like I said, the lack of real organized effort around these referendums that's on the ballot, I will not stop being shocked by that.

I will continue to say the League of Women Voters has been the most aggressive in terms of written literature, you know, platforming and putting something in people's hands and highly visible talking to anybody that would listen about these referendums. Now, my organization in terms of Delta Sigma Theta, you know, we've played in the conversations, we've had partner organizations that have played, but

We are not those organizations that you typically would be looking to run the ball on this. There are a lot of people that's missing their action in a real and meaningful way. People that should be leading on this, they are not leading. They're following. They add in a name on.

So I'm perplexed. I'm like I said, I'm gonna continue to say how many black elected officials have you seen out stomping about this this this referendum question question number three in a meaningful way In a meaningful way, how many people have spent campaign money, you know telling folks here's a mailer. This is important Because most folks your campaign money is only you know reserved for you

But people have budgets in their office that they could have used to get this information to people that this was coming down the road Long before they get shut down on who can send out mailers if you are up for reelection and on the ballot It's a lot of creative ways by which to educate the public, but it just seems like People either got their head in the same they got too much going on they just not Doing what they should I don't I don't know

I honestly don't know why you are not seeing, and on both sides of the aisle, you know, why you are not seeing on both sides of the aisle. It's just crazy to me. So I just want people to understand that, you know, we have to step in, be a bridge, you know, stand in the gap.

because this stuff is not happening. That's why it's been so important to get people educated so you can in turn go out and educate other people. Relational voting is so huge and important. So yes ma'am, I just wanted to say that. Let me circle back to a conversation, a local conversation. I got a caller. Let me go to the phone line. Hey caller, what's happening? Hello? I said good morning. I said hello.

I said hello. Good morning. Good morning. Let me tell you something. We call it a wapa-tui, where you put the fruit in all up and let it sit overnight. That's what somebody texted me. It's called a wapa-tui. You put all the fruit in there and let it sit overnight. And it ain't the liquor.

It's the fruit that make it even worse. Oh my god. She will be scared to eat that fruit man. I'm telling you that fruit man. I ate a couple pieces of strawberry. Yep, I had to put you down. Did you say I had to put you down? I had to put you down. Man, that fruit will put you down. I've been sitting there overnight. It's so thin that joint because you didn't pour everything. Gene.

Well, you didn't put everything in that thing. Oh my God. It is said overnight. It's called a WAPA 2. All right. I got educated this morning. Thank you, bro. I appreciate it. You know, sometimes black holes on everything. I mean, I didn't know it was called that, you know, but I know I've seen it. I know I have been exposed. I know I've been at a party or two.

I think we got a bad connection. Thank you, bro. Appreciate the call. All right, y'all. So let me let me turn my attention locally for a second before we get into some of this national stuff. We talked a lot.

because of Clark coming in, talking about he had no street lights. And so that led to, you know, people weighing in on social media, people calling, people texting like, no, I'm sure he right. We haven't had lights over here. And then as we peel back, you know, we're hearing from some city workers and they like, look, y'all, they still in copper. Like, wait, what, you know, so.

I just want to say that this whole thing has taken off. First of all, kudos because Clarkton got their lights back on over there. But there was a picture that Clark shared with me yesterday of three brothers. And one, I guess, the ringleader is called the Green Goblin.

Because he got locks and the front party's locks is died green. So yeah. So three Milwaukee men have been accused of stealing copper wire from city street lights. Prosecutors said the men were involved in the theft of roughly $10,000 worth of copper wire from mid August through October. But the copper wire thefts.

have cost the city more than eight hundred and thirty thousand dollars over the past two years and so they talk about like what these cats were doing um i'll see if i can play the audio for y'all uh when we come back from commercial break but

Maybe you know, maybe now y'all likes to say because the green goblin is off the street And the pigeon looks so crazy. Yeah, these was the most attractive These cats was the capers that was out at night still in

Access to life. Yeah. They they were still in school. We do them. But I'm just saying. So I'll see if I can bring up. So I'll bring up to bring up the story so y'all can hear for yourself. I'll be right back. I just want to do this because it was a follow up to the story that we were discussing earlier.

regarding the copper wire thefts. And we know that three people have been apprehended. Jay, do we have video or audio on that? All right, let's go. All right. So we're going to play this coverage. Let's see if that we just go on through the little commercial piece. But I just think that when you get done, is that it? Let's see. OK.

You know, we got him.

Let me try let me try from my computer. Where's a plug in at Jay? So we gonna try get it for y'all y'all because This is let me try this way I'm giving all right. I'm gonna try my way. Okay. All right, let's go

Okay. Skip that. Here we go. All of the city of Milwaukee is the repeated theft of copper wire from our street light circuit system. Today we have experienced nearly 250 thefts of this wire costing the city more than $830,000. This is not a victimless crime. It costs the city of Milwaukee money.

But the greatest costs can't be measured in dollars alone. The greatest cost, I think, is the impact that these deaths have on our residents and neighborhoods across the city. Because when street lights are out, our neighbors are left in the dark. Street lights, folks aren't aware, are a very important part of public safety in cities, including in the city of Milwaukee. They help our residents to feel safer in the neighborhoods by providing visibility when people are traveling on the streets after dark.

some street light circuits areas have been targeted repeatedly. And that behavior, I believe, is unacceptable. Today. Okay, so I just wanted you to hear a little bit of the press conference from the mayor. Sorry about all the struggle on the tech trying to get that up. Because the thing about this that got me, you know, I don't know why I thought like, you know, these some young people out here doing this foolishness. These people were in their fifties. 51.

Fifty five, fifty seven. These three that were taken into custody and they when he says two hundred and fifty, you know, different individual deaths, but that they were really targeting and going hard in some neighborhoods, you know, you're just like, wait, what? So I went back in the story to figure out like where they had been, what was going on and.

It was scandalous the number of times they would hit a particular Community and so they said on one The end these people have extensive backgrounds, you know in theft taking folk, you know still in this is crazy They run through each one of them, but I'm looking real quick They talked about like in one of the videos

Harris told police he only closed the electrical box. This was on October 1st, though he acknowledged buying copper wire from the other two men to sell to scrap yards. He said he did not remove the wires, but he would give the other two men a gram of cocaine and $10 or $20 for the wire. He did not steal any of the wire. Somebody, the other one, the other men involved. Oh, you got, ooh, you got the pictures up there. Daryl Horton with the food.

That man look crazy. I don't never do this. I'll ever do this But I don't know what what's going on right now that man looks if I do that man looks scary

So, Horton, we got their pictures up on the screen. Horton is charged with three felony counts of criminal damage to public utility, three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. He is accused of stealing copper wire on West Atkinson Avenue in August when DPI employee came across him pulling wire out of the ground. About two and a half reels of wire valued at $1,000 were taken. Two and a half reels of wire.

He was also charged in connection with October 1st theft October 10th theft in the North Titonia Avenue and West Ring Street in the latter incident He was seeing walking with a large amount of wire on his shoulder. He had about 750 feet of wire valued at $3,100

He denies stealing it. It said he found it in the cemetery Those surveillance videos showed him pulling it from the ground the complaint states So the city, you know, they've been trying to figure out how to up the penalties for you know these steps

I think they said they had tally 75 thefts just in August, 49 thefts in September, 22 so far this month in October. But I can't find where I originally saw it. Oh, maybe it's in this story over here. They literally had like showed the area. So when people were, oh, here they go. 66 in Custer, September 9th.

four poles in the parking lot at North 66th Street in West Custer, five poles in the parking lot, 5410 North 68th Street, three poles in the alley behind 5408 North 67th Street, five poles on West Birch Street, four poles on North 67th Street, four poles on Custer Street. And I mean, like they, they was killing these areas, man. Titonia and Ring, they just parlayed over there.

Like, until y'all started calling in, I did not realize the magnitude of what was happening. But they talk about what happened over near Titonia.

They had this on the video. The driver got out, walked around, and walked north onto Tony Avenue and met with several other people near a black Nissan Altima. Corp filing said, detectives saw the subjects tampering with the ground vault junction box that houses streetlight wires. The Nissan turned on Nass Street with his hazards light flashing.

and the Nissan passed the detectives. The detectives saw the car pulling a large section of black insulated wire, estimated 100 to 150 feet long. Police tracked the Nissan to an alley near 15th and Nash and conducted a traffic stop. Officers saw a suspect who matched the description of the Chevrolet driver run away, the driver of the Nissan, who was identified as Mario Gill, who was up on the on the screen.

as well as a large amount of copper wire that belonged to the Milwaukee DPW. Officers and detectives went back to the location of the initial call and saw eight ground vault junction boxes with missing bolts. Those boxes had been entered and the wires were either cut or stolen. They also saw four light poles with access panels damaged, removed the internal wiring cut,

In the alley between 14th and 15th Streets, officers saw cut wire debris such as cut plugs, wire scraps, wire installation. Several garbage cans in the alley had large amounts of wire installation. So these men are now in custody, but.

Kudos to A to all of the work that was done. You know, people calling in tips, telling folks where they were seeing stuff happening. This is one of those when you see something, say something kind of situation. No, you shouldn't be walking down, you know, the middle of the hood with all this copper wire wrapped around your face. Come on, man. And you ain't working for DPW. You don't look like you, you an electrician. And I hate the profile, but sometimes you know when we see stuff.

that we know some crazy is going on. So this was a much bigger issue than I had any idea. And I just want to say, you know, appreciation and thankful to the folks who helped us happen. But here's my thing. These probably can't be the only three people who know how to do this. Because you may end up telling other people what the hustle is. So.

I read and somebody said drugs. Yes. So I mean, think about you did all this stealing for a $10 rock, a $20 rock. So I'm telling people, be alert in your areas and in your neighborhoods. If you see some things going on, make sure you're reaching out to the police department on emergency number to put them up on game, neighborhood watch programs. Y'all got to pay attention to all of this. But this is madness.

that this happened and almost to the tune of a million dollars over the last two years. Our budgets is already tight. Where's this money coming from to replace all of this? So Chevy Mayor Johnson is right when he says this is not a victimless crime or they just stole some wire. We a million dollars almost in the hole as a city. So when somebody tell you we got to raise the fee on this, we got to

You know, increase X, Y and Z. It's not because I want to. Somebody got paid for this. We'll be right back, y'all.

All right, family, welcome back to the show. So real quickly, I'm looking on the chat. I got text messages. You all are asking the sixty four dollar question, the sixty four million dollar question. So where is the targeted enforcement when it comes to the scrap yards themselves? Because if there is no local market. In which you can bring this stolen copper to then.

You know, and then if you realize a lot of this, they say it's connected to drugs. So that cat that's selling this copper and taking these risks for a $10, $20 hit, you're not driving to Chicago. So you're not walking with copper on your shoulder to get to Chicago because somebody said they could be selling it out of the market here in Milwaukee, selling in another city, another municipality, another state. Where is the targeted enforcement against the businesses? Where is it?

Because if you're supposed to have ID, if you're supposed to be able to show that you're connected to a business, that you got some kind of fricking contractors license, where is the targeted? I just don't understand that. Now I'm going to tell you, because, you know, for me, I always say some things that step on people's toes. What do the criminals look like and what do the business owners look like? Because the business owners are criminals, too. If you are knowingly buying stolen goods.

But what's the racial demographic of the people still in the copper and what's the racial demographic of the people buying the copper? Law enforcement is look very different when it comes to application of the law and how we go after these people to stop this issue So if the city of Milwaukee is saying we've lost almost a million dollars Almost a million dollars over two years then you would think that they would be

in the police's behind or the detectives or whoever's behind to be able to say, what are we also doing about the purchasers of these stolen copper wires? Because if I don't have nowhere to sell it, the incentive goes away. Just like when they were doing catalytic converters, who's buying it?

And we never see the businesses being charged. We always typically, and they may be, but we don't hear about it. It's low profile if these charges are happening at all. But it reminds me of all of the hoopla about the tire dumping. And remember, residents complaining about all these freaking tires being dumped. High profile cases come before the city, and instead of charging people with tire dumping, they was charging people with littering.

Excuse you. You don't want to the whole trouble of creating tire dumping legislation. And then you get a person who's dumping hundreds of tires out of a semi truck. The aerial photos from the news were crazy. And when people show up in court, the charging is littering, littering. That's madness.

And people then got a question, why are these littering charges and not tire dumping charges? Because the law was created for just such a moment as this. But then, if you do tire dumping, now I got to go back and also look at the companies where the tires came from. Because because you're trying to save a dollar on your tire, getting rid of your tires,

You're paying some cat, you know, maybe a dollar to remove a tire where you typically would be paying $3 as a tire company or a company that has to get rid of these tires. You typically be paying three bucks to get rid of that tire per tire. Somebody come and say, oh, I can get rid of them for you for a dollar. You know that's way too low. You know that that doesn't match what the market tells you you should be paying. So all your tires that got your stamp on it end up dumped in Milwaukee area properties.

So they should be coming to holler at you because the belief being you potentially know you doing business with somebody that may be shady because What they're offering to take the contract for to take your tires away is too low and they can find who these tire people are because there's a stamp on every one of them tires So you know where the tires came from so I know which companies is in bed with people that

are most likely going to be involved in illegal dumping. That means I have to go after them companies. I don't know. But doesn't it all seem suspect that the only people that keep getting caught up is the people. That that that are on the front facing in, but the people who are helping to finance and and have this industry is going. I don't never see them getting charged.

I don't never see they arrest. I don't never watch the detectives go in and do a sting operation. The same way we go in and do a drug by a fake drug by or we do a fake, you know, terrorism. Oh, you want to blow up America? You know, let's get you connected to a gun dealer. Do we have people doing fake stings in these copper businesses or these are salvage yards, you know, wherever they sell them. When we got the undercover that's going

look crazy, look like a crackhead and go sell him something and tell me what the process is. Where is that track record at? Because I know this is not original thinking. Somebody else knows to do this so that we can catch these people in the act because you either are not looking at ID properly, you are not asking all the questions that were put in place to safeguard illegal sales. So when we're going to get that sting operation?

I'm not just interested in crazy Leroy and Day Day on these pictures with this green hair that one man, he look crazy. I also want to see the business owners mug shots on these screens, too. See y'all playing. All right, I got a caller. Let me go to the phone line. Hey, caller, what's happening? Good morning to you. Good morning. So a couple of last early this year, late last year.

It was a white boy, hitting all the picking saves, going up on the roof, had a truck, he was from a company. I ain't hear you say nothing about that cracker. Because evidently, I didn't know about it. Hold on. He stole more copper than them. First of all, that's inflated because they didn't take that much wire. They're talking about the replacement and the damages, and they include that.

The wire, you ain't, you ain't got, you ain't got, you ain't probably got, you probably got maybe, if you, right now a couple of probably high, you probably got hundred, ten dollars, twenty dollars in one of them light poles. If you got that, I don't think you got that much in one of the poles. They're talking about the damage and what it costs to be placed. This is the city's inflation. I mean, I mean, uh, uh, employing a price, you know, pulling it up, personifying it, because there's no way in the world one, uh,

one of them little light poles can grant you that much. We had a white boy that was going to all your local pick and save that's been shut down even on the south side with a boom truck getting up there spinning that he was filling some serious copper and radiators out in victim air handling units and stuff on the top plus all the copper wiring that I heard nobody say nothing about that but you got a couple of boys or you know men

pushing buggies around here and all hell break loose and we bad about with our people on them under the bus. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Spare me your speech. Spare me your speech, because number one, I'm not. Don't start hollering at me, Negro. Don't start hollering at me. Spare me your speech. You want me to become baby. You know what? No, I want you to talk like you got some sense and don't be hollering.

So, spare me this, because first of all, a white man stealing copper from HVAC units at Pick and Save does not negate the three brothers that's stealing here. So, if that case didn't get talked about, maybe hang on. Maybe I was not aware of that case and I just pulled it up and I was not. But it still don't have nothing to do with what's happening here. But if you listen to the whole speech this morning, it wasn't just

Why are we just not going? I mean, um, go after these three black men. It was go after the companies, which are primarily owned by white. So I'm calling here like somebody attacking these brothers and not holding and calling for accountability for everybody. I'm calling accountability for everybody. All right. And I, and I agree with you on that. What did you call it here for? What's your little mess?

Hello, that's the same thing we got with the illegal immigration work. Hey, hey, hey, keep it to the subject matter. You called in here while strong, like you was about to defend black man's honor for stealing. Don't come on me. I'm the hold on. See, there you go. You're flipping the man. I did exactly what you did. I said exactly what you did.

No, what I'm telling you is that that's that's inflated. That's just like what they do with our dog on home. Again, I'm not going to say it's inflated because I don't know how much an electrician makes working for the city of Milwaukee because you have to factor in all of that. I don't care if the product itself is not that expensive, but the labor and the time and the benefits that go with that brings that number to this. It may seem like in the journal signal is that these boys stole that much.

No, you know what? They said what it cost the city. They didn't say and they give you how much they got it got sold for. Fifteen hundred twenty one hundred. So, you know, it's up to you to understand that the cost to replace it is expensive. Listen, how many of us have had a car where the part of the car is ridiculously cheap, but the labor to put that part in will kill you.

I understand that. Me and you have that comprehension, but what about the person that just crossing over the deal? Well, you know, it would help if when you call, you would demonstrate that comprehension instead of trying to set off some flames and call the people crack. Well, you know, wait, hold on one, hold on. Yeah, you hold on. When I, okay, listen to this here. When I call, I call, I call to.

I'll call the light of flame. I didn't call it. No, you call the star mess. Don't don't don't be to my no light. Don't play with your call on the mess because he was raised in hell about something that wasn't even happening this morning. Hold on. I read it and I realized that how long why are they making it seem like they stole this much copper? But you understand what we're breaking it down and looking at it. It's the actual labor cost.

because the replacement cost is really not, you know, now, you know what? You kill me. Now, now you want to talk like you got good sense. Thank you for the call. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

about what's going on over in Israel. And I'm going to bring some of this stuff back locally. But we can't ignore the fact that right now, Israel, they had their elections on yesterday. We still don't know what the outcomes are because this whole thing is going to be neck and neck. And but but just so we got just a little bit of the backstory. So Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting to maintain power.

He has a challenger, Gotti Eisenkott. And. Gotti is trying to, you know, say, hey, we try to form a new government, but they have a different kind of system in Israel in terms of the way their government government works and how how it's, you know, who gets power, who gets. Most power.

So neither side has secured a governing majority according to exit polls. We don't have the hard numbers yet, but people are saying that it's looking like it's a tight race. 50 50 and Benjamin Netanyahu, his current government has relied on right wing nationalists and ultra orthodox religious parties. You know, he's running on the war and confronting Iran and God, he hasn't got.

is former Israeli military. And he has built this campaign around replacing Netanyahu's leadership, changing the country's political direction. A wider potential governing camp includes parties from the center to the left and the parties of the right. So he is trying to figure out if there's a way to build some consensus somewhere in the middle. So what the election results are showing is that

It's kind of different when you pay attention to their system because voters elect parties to the 120 seat parliament. There are 120 seats. You got to have 61 to have what is considered a majority right now.

Benjamin Netanyahu has somewhere between 49 and 52 seats and Eisencott has between 49 and 51 seats when people last checked Right up until I came on the radio this morning They do not know, you know, like kind of like what was getting ready to happen One of the things that they were talking about that the airboat is going to be pivotal When you look at

Arab led political parties, which represent Palestinian citizens of Israel. These parties don't automatically align with either, you know, a major party block. But their parliamentary seats could help determine whether Netanyahu comes back into power or whether his opponent can, you know, begin to kind of reshape, reform the government, if you will. So what's going to happen next in this election? Because, again,

The US has something at stake, depending on what goes on in the leadership over in Israel. Donald Trump came out very, very late with an endorsement of support for Benjamin Netanyahu. All of that was by design. He played right down to the wire before giving his endorsement. Many of the political fights that we see playing out in the US, we see them playing out around the world. Israel is no different.

So what has to happen now about how this is going to work out? Election officials have to finish counting all the votes. So they got to get the final results, including the ballots that haven't yet been counted. Early figures can change. We know that.

Then they have to negotiate with the other parties. So Netanyahu and his challengers will seek commitments from smaller parties. They have to negotiate over military service, religion, judicial reform, security, and ministerial appointments. The third step, the president will then choose who gets the first chance. President Isaac Herzog will consult political leaders and designate the candidate he believes has the best chance of forming a government.

That person generally gets 28 days with the possible 14 day extension to put together a coalition. And then the coalition, if no viable government can be formed, Israel could face another round of political negotiations and potentially another election. Netanyahu remains the caretaker while all of this is unfolding. Why, again, is this relevant to the U.S.?

because Israel's decisions affect American diplomacy concerning Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, and regional security. A new government could change how Washington and Jerusalem coordinate military operations, negotiations, and accountability. I'm sorry, and regional partnerships. The humanitarian policy becomes different. You know, Israel's decisions about Gaza

humanitarian aid, civilian protection, all of that changes if the leadership changes. In Israel's conduct of the war, you know, there have been a lot of people that are not happy with the way Benjamin Netanyahu has just taken a blanket approach to crushing anything damn near connected to the Palestinians. The way the Gaza Strip was decimated

No institution was left intact. 78,000 Palestinians dead and more still dying. You know, we don't even have reliable numbers at this point. So, y'all, we are paying close attention to what is going on in this battle over in Israel. Don't know how soon on the horizon they will have reached a decision, but make no mistake. It directly impacts the way we do business in this country.

Let me go to the phone line. Hey, Caller, what's happening? Hello? Yes, hello. Hey, guys. This is Kathy Caller. Hi, Kathy. Hey, regarding those tires, I took a tire. This is about a year ago. You know, I got a change of a spare tire. I just used one at a location. And they don't charge me and you anyway for disposal of the tire. They say you want to take it with you.

I started taking mine with me and dumping it myself, okay? I followed a truck one time and the place was closing, and I seen the guy dump the stuff on some property. Either I called about it, but he came from the tire shop. And sometimes the tire shop, he or she may know that they're still dumping it somewhere else because he don't care, but he's not going to charge it up because the owner of the tire shop, if you think about it, he's gonna say, oh, I didn't know he was doing that. I gave him strict instructions to take it here.

Well, if they're going to take those tires to somewhere, you can check the location they pull the dump for that, okay? You know, the business that has it. Say, hey, this company here on Sorensville Street, this one here, yeah, they come in recently last week, two weeks a month. You can tell that they're not dumping what they normally pull the ticket at, okay? Yeah, that could be solved, but.

They ride around here, and they charge me and you for dumping the tire. No, and they're not even going to dump it anywhere. And they only may know, and may not know. I think most of them do know, but they turn a blind eye to it. Well, if the police come and ask them some questions about it, OK? Then they cover up their license plates. So you can't see, but I've followed them one-on-one time. OK. And then get into this coppers. This fool who wants to be on drugs

will take the stuff out of there. They don't care if they get probably electrocuted. If you're that smart to take it out of a doubting electrocuted, go on and go take your apprenticeship job up your 40 and 50 old fools, okay? That's just crazy, you know, but people are desperate for money just to get high. On $10, it shows you the level of education where they're at in life for $10, okay? Even if it's $25, they're making a lot of money on that wiring. You're going to pay me more than that because that's my life. All right.

You know, and then the other one, the lady said about signs for a voting. First of all, I never seen an early voting sign, so I get up to the place where they have an early voting at, okay? I've got being funny. First time I ever voted, early voting was at Midtown last week, and I felt good doing that. You know, I felt good doing that. I went over there and seen my people, okay? But those signs are not, like, I live on the east side. I do, I go all over the city, okay? South side, north side, at least once a week, way north, way south.

because I have other things I do. I have not seen an early voting sign unless they're right by the polls. A couple of blocks before you go in. There is no really not a lot of early voting signs. I don't know if that you can look online, but I know she's saying this gets at a reminder of people because I told a young lady across the street, rainbow or whatever you want to call the place. By midtown, I said, a young lady, are you enough to vote? She's over here. I said, well, make sure you get over there. She said, I will. She's in my hours of work. I said, okay, your hours of work should restrict you from walking right across.

that little walkway to vote. I said, please do that. She said, yeah, well, I said, you voted before. She didn't know. I said, well, go over there and vote. She said, she'd been working at the store three years. You've been working at the store three years. You haven't went over there and did any voting at all? I said, on your break or lunchtime. I said, she said, don't they close early after when she looked it up and looked at the schedule and let me know. I mean, really, you haven't seen, they don't know until they get old enough that things may affect them. They may go, why, oh,

Well, that's because a lot of us didn't vote a certain way. So the bills got passed this way. You know, that's what I be telling people. You know, they just don't see an interest in it. And most men never see an interest in voting. I'm sorry. All right. Thank you, Carla. I appreciate you. All right, family. I got to take a quick break. I'll be right back. All right, family. So as I was talking about the whole situation going on over in Israel and I talked about the influence of the Arab community and potentially the elections over there, you know, I thought about

a comment or a series of comments that were made recently here in the United States by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. During one of these, you know, get out to vote rallies in Michigan these last couple of days that while I haven't seen a ton of coverage on it, I know people are talking about it. But when we talk about racism and the extent that people go to.

in this administration to malign other groups, the ignorant way. You know, so you look at people that roll through here that's a part of this party, the Republican party, and like, man, what y'all thinking me? Like, where is the checks and balances on the ignorant people in the party? So John F. Kennedy was in Michigan and he was stomping for Republican representatives, Mike Rogers and John James.

And he's this is, you know, this huge Senate race in Michigan. El Said, I talked about before. A day or two ago about them coming at the clip in which Charles Blow decimates somebody who was talking about El Said's mother, you know, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a terrorist organization. And I played the audio where you hear Charles Blow say.

For the 100 years of existence of this organization, they were never classified as a terrorist organization until two years ago by the Trump administration. What did he say? 10 presidents, both Republican and Democrat, never characterized the Muslim brotherhood as a terrorist organization until Donald Trump comes into office. So Robert Kennedy, Jr. gets on stage in Michigan. And this is what he says in his remarks.

There's 500 million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature. They used to. They were the first to make books.

In the 13th century, typical Muslim princes had more books in their libraries than existed in all of Europe. And all that tradition has been destroyed by the Muslim Brotherhood. They've created stagnant societies that do two things, hatred and war and victimization. So let me let me just say this. I appreciate the Huffington Post, the HuffPost. They went back and they said, before you get up on the stage, now I'm ad libbing here.

Before you get up on stage, idiot, do your homework. There have been three Arabs since 1978 who have won Nobel Prizes in science. There have been five Arabs who have won the Nobel Prize, the Nobel Peace Prize, most notably on Warsaw. Yes, the air fat. There have been two that have won Nobel Prizes in literature. And.

The Huff Post could have went on and on, but just highlighting the areas that RFK Junior did. Do you understand how these people? Openly racist, get on a national platform and say some of the most reckless, ignorant, hurtful stuff. That is easily verifiable. So you would think that there would be somebody in the Republican Party that comes out and says, look.

We ain't got to dehumanize people and act like they're illiterate and they're ignorant and they're stupid because they have a different ideology, philosophy, political view than we do. But that's what they want to introduce you to. But then I loved the last word that I said when he said they are only good for two things. He talked about war and hatred, victimization, because that's the other cold word.

that Republicans have been using. Sorry about that. OK, shut up. Really, we're not going to go off. OK, hang on. Let me do it this way. But victimization. Going back to when I was last in the Capitol and we were having hearings, committee hearings, and they were talking about.

uh diversity equity inclusion they were talking about curriculum in schools and you had you know white people finger wagging their fingers on the committee telling black people about victimization and i i'm not a victim and you y'all remember me talking about it because i was like um if somebody harms you you are a victim and i appreciate your resilience and your fight back and you don't let that define you but

technically, legally, you are a victim. That's why we have victims' rights. That's why we have victim assistance programs. So, you know, people play with words when it suits their needs. But anytime you raise a complaint about maltreatment, particularly if you are a person of color and you talk about how that maltreatment has hindered your success or progress or ability to do certain things, then people tell you, oh, you're practicing in victimization.

You want to be a victim? And I keep trying to tell people don't let these folks define you don't let these people play with words about you and I watch black people. I'm not a victim. I'm not a victim when it comes to racism. I'm not a victim. No, because you stupid. Don't let people something that you know to be true. You can be a victim and still be a fighter.

You can have been a victim of crime and still be a fighter. You can be a victim of racism and still be a fighter. But we let them take our own pain and our own issues and use them against us. So yeah, he threw that one in. I gotta take a break. But pay attention to these words, y'all. Victimization. And then you got black folks running around here beating their chest. I'm not a victim. You can be a victim and a survivor at the same time.

I'll be right back. All right, family, welcome back to the show. So first of all, kudos to the listeners. I had a listener text me. She had been trying to get in. She said, Michelle, you did talk about the white guy up on top of the pick and save still in the the copper or whatever he was taken from the HVAC systems. So again, because I talk about so much stuff, I didn't remember it. But one of my listeners and she's a faithful listener, she was like, you did talk about it. So I'm going to go back maybe and see if I can find it. But OK.

Now, I got to veer off the issue of politics for a moment because I just need to check in with the good church folks because, you know, I watch church on online for the most part. I haven't just, you know, committed to being in the building every Sunday, but I definitely watch online. It's on in the house on Sunday morning, except when I've had to go to these churches for voter engagement. But the story

about the Ohio pastor I don't have the video you got the video pull the video while I'm talking about it yeah pull it up pull it up real quick

an Ohio pastor and his his wife are making headlines after they revealed that their marriage includes another woman. So the church is called Life Works Church and the prophet Israel Ford and his wife, prophetess Lydia Ford.

And one of their most recent services Sunday this past Sunday Profit is Ford introduced The second wife Her name is minister she Kayla Ford so she administer To the congregation in a video that has been shared all over social media

and in talking about their unconventional situation, the lady said it was a reflection of God's will. We are living in a poly, I'm sorry, in a polygamous marriage and the lady couldn't even say polygamous. The wife couldn't say it. The wife on paper, the first wife.

She couldn't even actually say the word. She butchered the word. But we are living in a polygamous marriage. My husband has a second wife. And she referred to the lady as her sister. You got it. Pleasure. And I want to share that, you know, we are living even right now in what we would call a polygynous.

He has a second wife. Y'all know her. Y'all love her. Y'all benefit from her ministry every week. And I just want to take this time and just as a pleasure of mine to introduce to y'all practice wife and my sister in marriage, Minister Shakayla. Minister Shakayla. Oh wait.

Well, I'm going to save you so much. This is so amazing. So, we're going to have just a few words from, um, and that's his, that's his. Well, good afternoon, everyone. Um, now they go on the hill. Look, she said to cast out the bag. Thank you. All right. So good.

I just want to open it up for a little while. They go on the hill or the radio this morning. They go on the hill. I would love all the first ladies to call. They go on the hill. To tell me, have I been gone from church so long? Listen here. That we got some new stuff in the black church. We got some new stuff happening. Now we all know about affairs in the church. It's been some trifling.

Some tribe with brothers in that pool pit who had affairs with women in the church Some of them even introduced they women to the church. Okay. I've heard about that. I've heard about it I'm grown. I've heard about that over the course of my lifetime But to actually have the first lady of the church stand up and introduce the chick that your husband has been messing with for three years. It could be reversal

I know some people said they believe that the two women was really... They brought him in. They brought him in. But see, I just think that's bruz trying to get the heat off bruz. No, no, no. The only reason why I say it is because she's so comfortable with... And then when you look at the pictures, here are the pictures. I don't know if you saw the pictures, but here are the pictures. This story is so...

you know they so they they they I mean they they they good so they good it seems to me that maybe the pastor wife was getting the known first and then I don't know or not because I don't know it is making an assumption but I'm gonna say this because this ain't assume I just think you try to protect the brother I'm gonna say I think this was his mess I think it was his man and it could be and he's sisters the wife went along

But has church changed this much because the people in the audience you can hear them cheering I'm gonna tell you this here The weather people believe this this lady said the cat is out the bed. So that means he's been cheating They said three years. So they have been together for three years And then you go stand up in front of your congregation and try to get these and out and I'm

I'm using the words wrong because I was going to say and try to get these members of your church to go along with it. But they supported it. You're not using it. He didn't have to try. Many of them was clapped. It was clapped. And if anything you allow, what kind of sick? Yeah. So church is not changing. Well, yeah, I take that back. No, no, no, no. Church is changing. Church is changing to what the scripture said it was going to do. And it was.

you know, people falling away from God and falling away from righteousness. And the Bible speaks of you can find it in the scripture. It says, well, to those that call right, wrong and wrong, right is in the Bible. So those that believe and that read and study, they know what's happening because the scripture warns us of what's to come for those that don't believe. But OK.

And again, because I don't know the Bible like that. Are there stories in the Bible of men who have multiple wives? And is there anything in the Bible that prohibits a man from having multiple wives? See, I don't know. That's why I wasn't going to talk about this because this ain't my language. You know, this is a.

This is a Keith Parris conversation. And a Jermaine and a Clark. This is not Michelle conversation. But were there men in the Bible who had multiple wives? Yes. Under the Old Testament, it was. However, we don't operate under the Old Testament. We operate under the New Testament law. And so, I mean, with that being said, people try to use scripture to

You know push and go along with the foolishness, but it's wrong When you stand and you make a marriage vow you make your vow and when you make your vow you make it at the valve Forsecking all others peace one man in one moment. So you made a vow. So this is what came out of your mouth I've watched social commentary

And there have been people that have said, no, there are examples of men having multiple wives in the Bible. And if it was okay for the Old Testament, why is it not okay today? Well, I mean, because people are not sacrificing their kids like they did in the Old Testament too. So we pick and choose what we carry from the Old Testament forward? No, because we operate now in the New Testament. Okay. So, amen.

The man of the cloth has walked in. There's no column but it's a hoodie on. You know, his is more of a T-shirt. Here we go. He gave me that look. I'm assuming you've seen the story. Good morning, Keith. How you doing this morning? So, for the people who have said that this does not go against the Bible, any any thoughts on that?

Technically, it does not go against Scripture as we know it. Polygamy among Jewish people was outlawed 300 years after the death of Christ. Polygamy was commonly practiced.

When people read that you know like a pastor should be a man or one woman really talking really alluding to polygamy Okay, and the responsibility that you have for multiple wives, but people were still doing polygamy and Judaism up to I think it's like 300 AD Well these black people but even but even in African cultures

there is polygamy because polygamy is not based on. Yeah, I do know that. It's not based on sex. In fact, when I went to Kenya, I met a chief. I met his son who had multiple wives. So I do know that yeah, I met them because I had me and him had a real whole conversation. Yeah, that goes into it. So I think the other notion is

Who determines what marriage is now doesn't sound like he's married to the other woman because that would be he they said he's married to that would be begging me He legally can't do it in America. No, you can't I know that's why the issue they had because the Mormon Church just outlawed polygamy maybe 30 years ago and what's his name Warren Jeffs who was abusing folks but Legally you cannot have two wives in America, right?

So, and what makes you married? A piece of paper? There you go. So you can have two pieces of paper? No, but I'm sorry. No, you can't. Legally, what makes you married is that you've gone in and you sign a contract, she signs a contract, it's witnessed, and then it's then recorded. And then that's, so it's all the legal thing. So when we look at today, modern women in America, different rights than women had.

Certainly during the time of Jesus Certainly during the time of the Old Testament, right? When you look at I'm trying to think was it Jacob Who had two wives? Right, then he had concubines so Boligamy is was really about Procreation keeping everything in the bloodline, you know, there's this whole responsibility

Solomon, Lydian. Yeah, they all had multiple wives. So let me ask you. So we base it on romance and marriage in the Bible is not based on romance. Right. So, well, there are some instances. How do you pronounce this one figure from the Bible? Lemek? Lemek? Lemek. So, because he was the first recorded polygamist. So again, in Genesis 419. So why would you, why would you make a vow? That's, but you, you're, you're confusing. No, no, no, I'm just.

What makes you married in America today? I get that. What makes you married in America today is that you have a legal license. That's not what I'm saying. Bigamy is illegal in America. So what are you saying? So what I'm asking is if you want to have more than one wife, why make a vow? Because in your vow, your vow state forsaken others and you're doing this before God.

So, again, my question is, what have you been and they talk a lot about this and but you may not have taken that vow. You may have said something different. No, it's it's it's it. I mean, but everybody doesn't take the same vow. I mean, they're you can people write their own vows love, love, honor and obey. Yeah. People took obey out a long time ago. I guess so. They changed the world. What I'm saying is that is it called a polymorphic relationship? Yeah. A whole lot of black people doing that.

So a lot of black people doing that and people understand. So what I'm saying is that cheating in the next room. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. And so when you talk about these relationships, he can call her his wife legally.

She is not his wife. Right. And when it's time for property distribution, something happens to him. Right. And all those things, unless he goes in and he does, and will, and do all those things. But does it not look crazy, though, to see that in the church, me? Obviously it does. I mean, you get to, but you mention it. It's not like. It's not like we have not had instances of clergy.

have in relationships outside of their marriage. Now I'm gonna disagree with you on this point. They all are equally responsible for that decision. Of course, it ain't the dude. No, no, right, right, right, right. It's all of them. Right, yeah, so I was just, I was playing devil's advocate from the opposite side. Because what I'm saying is that if you believe in the empowerment of women, right, and again, if you look at the rights that American women have in the 21st century, compared to the rights, one of the things that

that makes Joseph Jesus a stepdad so amazing is that he could have put her away that would be like the right right right right he decided to marry her to cover her but why it wasn't like she could own property she can't start a business you know she can't be Kathy Hughes

you know, so when you think about that and I think that that is okay. You got to go. I could actually pick it up because I got it in my show, but I definitely wanted to have this conversation and I just, you know, have been holding off on it. So I tell you what, yeah, let's let's maybe maybe it'll carry over. I don't know, but this was interesting to me in the midst of everything else crazy that's going on. This just added to the list of crazy. So

This Michelle Bryant y'all, I appreciate you. If you can get one, if you can get one, I'll be happy. Hey, I got. Hey, I got options. I was at home alone talking to myself. What was she got to have? I mean, she wasn't married to him. That's the relationship. But that's the relationship.

Well, it's cheating. There's a whole bunch of cheating going on. Let's get out, man. It's cheating. That, that, oh, that. Y'all want to eat? Y'all want to eat? We're trying to get the system. Cheating in the next room. Bye, y'all. Let me out, son of y'all. Peace.
