Say Something Real · Thu Oct 15, 2026
Good morning. Good morning. Was that your family? Welcome to the show. It is Michelle Bryan here at WNOV 860 AM 106.5 FM. You are listening to say something real.
Say something real. Say something real. Let's go get a little uncomfortable in here today. The real is going to be here. The real is gone. The real is going to get a little uncomfortable up in this camp today. I'm going to put y'all on notice. Don't text me later. Don't try to be like Michelle was out of order. Don't do none of that.
I'm putting you on notice right now. Uh-oh. But before I get into the functions, let me say good morning to my people in the studio. Clark Kent. Who won? Man, the Brewers, baby. Yes, indeed. The Brewers. Today, just letting you know, he getting us tickets to the game. We going to the World Series. No, we going for real. And I told you that's the first time I've ever been in Milwaukee.
I came for the World Series, one of the World Series games. I'm glad you still here. I wasn't living here and had no idea that when I came up for the series, I didn't move here until 87. So I literally came up just for the game. And then 44 years later, you're here sitting here. And got the number one show in the nation. And it was crazy. I listened to Mark Maiden this morning, weather guy over at Channel 12. He said I was 12 years old.
That's crazy. When the Brewers went to the World Series. But you know the whole beauty in this whole thing? And everybody is going crazy because you, you never know when you had this opportunity again. And I'm sure when the Brewers. We 42 years into some of this. Yeah, 44 years in. It took 44 years. To come back. To be close. Right. So now they, one game away, which is played tonight and.
If they can do it, man, man, they can do it. That's thinking about this. Listen, I'm not coming to work tomorrow. I won't be here tomorrow. If the Brewers win, I'm not coming to work tomorrow. I know you're listening.
Come to work. We have a celebration that work. We need to have brewers themed everything tomorrow. Me and all of the brewers fans. We're going to be down time. I think y'all need to order breakfast. We just have a brewers breakfast up in this camp. I'll set it off. I need to be working. I need to be working because I have a brewers fest up in here. I have brewers stuff all in the background.
and brewers breakfast. I don't know what that looks like. Whatever that cook, you know, what they eat. Murphy carry pancakes in the back of his pocket. And he eat them during the game. This is the poor pancake. Look, dude, you got to think lavish, big. Yeah.
And you know, we there, we there. The three of us are lattice type. Hey, man, people say, oh, you coming to work. OK, well, tell you what, my body going to be here tomorrow. Right. Right. Right. But my money. Right. Other side of town. Well, let me just say, you good, Clark? Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. I'm just happy that, you know, these boys doing it. If they win.
Just think about this. They got swept last year and they swept them this year. Hey, but you know what? Like the old saying says, what goes around comes around. So we ain't going to say that as of yet. We're going to wait until tonight. And we pray that the Brewers do their thing. But yeah, man, this is amazing, man, just to have this squad. And to be honest, they got the whole city feeling good, man. Hey, man, let's sit here, man. I believe.
that last night we didn't have no crime.
Before you get to please
Explain the look of your laptop. Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah, I had a couple of people reach out want to understand So the laptop is like blue gray. It's this funny color blue not like bright blue blue gray and it is It has a blue fabric
top it's not like it's made onto the computer came that way from the factory it's not like it was added later and it looks like blue denim but like blue woven like I said you will not see another computer like this in the city and it's a Lenovo computer and Yeah, there's a $400 reward if anybody finds it or lets me know you know
Got a got a lead on it and I can get it back
So, yes. So, thank you for asking and I got some of my guys who actually own computer shops that's on the look. You know what? I meant to do this yesterday and I didn't get a chance. It is one thing to be able to go in the store, you know, and get what you need from Best Buy or wherever you buy your stuff from. It's another thing to have a relationship with somebody who owns a computer store and
literally when I talked to my man Antoine Perkins over at PWD computers. I called him and he already know when I call like it's it's yesterday. Whatever I'm calling about, I should have called about yesterday. It's an emergency when I mess with Antoine for the most part. I called him and I want to say I called him at four o'clock.
He was like I will have you ready by 430 I Got some here It's actually got more horse than the one you got and I know how you are about your stuff It has all your bells and whistles. He was like I'll have it ready when you get here That's what and when I tell you that brother had I was I was back up and running now. I know files but
He did my desktop. So everything that I had up until maybe seven months ago, because I hadn't used my desktop in a minute, but those files are there. So he can pull that for me and get this back on my laptop. But I just want to say that, first of all, and here, brother, it was nothing like being able to have that conversation. He's like, I already know I got you. Come on, it'll be ready.
And that's exactly what happened. This is the brother who when I said I wanted a computer for my grandson, but I want to Cadillac computer because this little boy is brilliant. He creates his own games. He's coding. He's this. He was like, I got you. When my grandson got the computer, my son is a computer dude. He does a lot of stuff about computers. And my son looked at it. He was like, are you serious right now, mom? I said, look.
He can grow with this computer, you know, get him get him what he need You can't be brilliant operating on a on a on a basic computer, you know So he needed brilliant computer. He need the computer need to be able to keep up with his mom and Antoine And he knows I love bells and whistles. So, you know, he's like, you know, the whole computer light up and I was like say what and he lit it up the frame around it lights up Well, my grandson figured all of that out. But then my grandson went in and figured out
He could make the computer light up in the way he wanted it to and his computer across his his keyboard it lights up in three different colors and When I showed Antoine the picture he was like that computer does that he was like he He figured that out at seven like Atlas is Atlas is mad So I meant to give him love yesterday that brother had me up and running
I didn't skip no beat. I didn't skip a beat other than my files. So thank you. Thank you if you You know need to buy a computer
He's right over off of what is that? The lead 3,800 with the lead 3,800 with the lead. Thank you for having us. Don't know. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Yeah, he's right over off of the lead. He does home security systems. He works for the big boys. He used to be like when a major company, he started his own business several years ago. And when I tell you, that's my do all things computers. I love that, brother. So.
I just want to say thank you because I meant to say that yesterday. All right. A lot of y'all have, oh wait, I say good morning to you. Let's go. Hey, don't cry. Don't cry. So we cry. You know, you know, he still feels kind of some way to get to say it. No, I'm actually good. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
was really an important day that we had somebody in here that is actually trying to change the projection and the projection of where this country is going and where the state is going. So that's more important. I'm just going to double up next so we can knock y'all here too. But we wanted to actually hear from DC. Well, I'm going to respect his position. We wanted to hear from Mr. Crowley and make sure that
And that the people here from him. So that was a more important, but hey, how you doing? Good. I'm good. I see you next week. I got something for you. All right. Look, well, I'm going to tell you, I got a lot of feedback on that interview yesterday. On my question? No, I got feedback when the listener said that Jermaine, what did she say? You was my work from God. Jermaine, it was something Jermaine's job.
Basically, God had gave me Jermaine. So you could straighten them out. Like this was my test. But the feedback I heard on that interview was, and I heard from people that was like crazy that I hadn't heard from in a while. And it was like,
This dude's interview was phenomenal yesterday. So I appreciate that DC, you know, God, Ian Jonathan, his staff member who got everything set up. And thank you to everybody who had the feedback. I even saw some this morning where people talked about him and a lot of people talked about Pastor Washington from St. Matthew's Church, you know, because I tell people I'm not kidding.
And it's so funny because I had the conversation with location last night, but you know, that's the church girl. So she can run all of that stuff down to you. But I said, you know how in, um, I forgot the movie with, um, Tom Cruise when a girl said, you had me at. Remember that line? Cuba Gooding was in the movie and Regina King. It was a, no, it was a, um, he was a sports agent.
and he was Cuba Gooding's uh sports uh football sports agent. Uh I can't take it anymore. Him and Renee Zellweger. I know. Yeah and she said you had me at um and then you know whatever um past the Washington had me at when he talked about yes the lord you know Jesus died for y'all sins but what happened to him was political in nature.
because of the way the system was set up and and you know how they use the system to come after this man and ultimately you know crucify him and I just appreciated that because you get to see it through a couple of different lenses and a lot of people they only want you you know you view stuff through one lens and I'm like it's It's way more complicated than that y'all
Jerry Maguire, thank you so much. That's the movie I was trying to think of. Thank you, Tyra. Yeah, Show Me the Money was really the tagline that a lot of people remember. But so I will be going on the same Matthews to check out. Pastor Matthews, I appreciated this brother. So thank you all. Thank you all for the feedback on both of those interviews yesterday.
What what you what you want. So I ain't never say nothing to make you want to come to my church. Never. I gotta do better. I gotta do better. I gotta do better. Never ever. I wonder why it only be three people. Who? I know. I know the name. I knew one of the real people. I did. Craig Stingy so messy. I hate Craig Stingy. He's so messy. Oh wait, Keisha said the crucifixion was a state sponsored lynching. Thank you, Keisha.
Um Craig singly gonna say let me pull up his text because You know, I don't I don't like I don't like our people we so we so messy Craig I must have said something like we got a real preacher up in here this morning Because you know Jermaine with his fake bitch So Craig send me go say oh y'all got a real preacher and I was like
talking about Keith's there. Oh my god. I was like black people. So, I gotta find it. So, and Keisha said the book because she was telling me what I needed to read is um James Cone the cross and the lynching tree. So, I think I heard um let me look it up somebody priest from that priest from that you have to cross James Cone
the cross. Yeah, there it is right there. James Cone, the cross and the lynching tree. Yeah. And it just says real quickly and we're going to get moving here. Um James Cones, the cross and the lynching tree.
This was done back in 2011, argues that the crucifixion of Jesus and the history of lynching in the United States are deeply interconnected symbols of Black suffering, faith, and resistance. Cone presents the cross and the lynching tree as two of the most emotionally charged symbols in African American history. He contends that while the lynching tree represented white supremacy and Black death, the cross symbolized divine solidarity, Black life, and hope in the face of terror.
Theological argument cone criticizes white theologians and churches for failing to connect the crucifixion of Jesus with the suffering of lynched black bodies He argues that the cross becomes fully meaningful only when interpreted through the live experience of black compression So evidently this is a deep read but I have also heard that somebody else did an amazing sermon around this concept From the cross and the lynching tree. So for all you, you know
Faith folks, that's that's for y'all. Oh, Keith said, I'll bring the book this morning. Nice. Wow. I'm telling you, if it's a book, this dude got it. Yeah, man. Yeah. Can you imagine him and Keisha like really having a car? It'll be the most. It'll be the most interesting, but sleepiest conversation I've ever been on. We're all be zoning out. Interesting, but sleepy.
But all of the other people, you know, they would be listening, but you have me and Jermaine. Oh, yeah. I'm talking about snoring. Man, you done yet? God, dog. You are so ridiculous. You know. Don't hate our educated people. Don't hate, don't hate.
But sometimes, you know, it's not attractive. It's like, over, over-processing your brain and your brain doesn't get tired of hearing words. Look, and they'll be getting the amp right on up. It'll be four hours later. They'll go, go, go, go. But what about 393? And then, you know, that connects to, you'll be like, man, OK. All right. Thank you, LaKeisha, and thank you, Keith.
I need to take my first break of the morning, a number of things to get to. But I'm going to tell y'all, right? And let me say good morning to everybody that checked in on Facebook. Zebra, I see you at Eval Kenya. I see you. But what's the first? Zebra? Zebra? Yeah, like coming in here like just, you know, gangbusters. Hold on. I should get some. And Al, you know, I get so sick of Al. I just get sick of him. We could be here at 7-0-1. Where you at? Where you at? Where you at? He's so silly. But yeah.
Good morning to everybody. Glad to see y'all checking in. When I come back from the break and let me, oh, I meant to say good morning to the babies. Good morning to the babies. I was over at Rufus King High School yesterday. Young students got registered to vote over there and they did a great job and I met and I got to remember how to say her name and she's actually my sorority sister who is in the college access department at Rufus King. She
saw me. I love this. So we did voter registration in the college access room. I asked her for a piece of paper so I could, because I'm looking up at the screen that they have, that's rolling different scholarship opportunities. And I'm like, I want to be able to share those with the listeners is what I'm thinking. So I, you know, borrow a piece of paper from her and she was working on her computer.
So, I started, like, looking up and copying stuff. So, she must have paid attention to the fact that I, I think her name is Ranikia. She, she paid attention to the fact that I was doing that. She said, ah, you ain't got to do that. Send me your email. I'll send you all of the stuff that I get, you know? And I was like, oh my God, this will help our listeners so much. She was like, mm-mm. She said, we can have a regular ongoing situation. I'm happy to help. And when I tell you before I left that school,
That email had already come so shout out to the college access department at Rufus King High School Shout out to the League of Women Voters the League of Women Voters have been some straight-up G's and making sure that these kids are getting registered at high schools here in the city I am appreciative for the partnership that Delta Sigma Theta Has with the League of Women Voters, I think aka do something similar with them as well And then the last thing I will say just real quick
is that when we went yesterday, there was an assistant here. There was an assistant here that I had never met before that was with the league. And so when they introduced her, I thought her name sounded funny because her name was Freda.
And I was like Fred. I said that in my head because I'd never met anybody in my life named Fred. But I moved on, you know, I was like, okay. So she and I end up talking and she tells me that her parents, her mom graduated from Rufus King in 1948. And I was like, it was black people at Rufus King in 1948. She said my mom was one of three.
kids to go to Rufus King in 1948. And then she started talking about her dad. And she said her dad had a delicatessen over near North Avenue and like 9th Street somewhere over there. But when they put the freeway in, it went through his business. And then I think he was, I think she said he went to work at A.L. Smith.
And later, you know, he was like, no, I need to work for myself. He opened his own business. I was talking to the daughter of Fred's ornamental doors. We had his doors on our houses. Every house I've ever been in, we had those doors. And so I was like, are you serious right now? But what was even crazier?
is it was a white God here from the League of Women Voters and he was talking about the fact that his parents went to Rufus King. His parents graduated in 1950. So her mom and his parents were at Rufus King at the same time and both of them went on to be math majors
and have she worked 30 years for the district NPS and he worked for Wisconsin gas but they talked about like when the computer began to come on board the training that had to happen the programming piece it was crazy listening to the two of them talk but they both had gone into the
you know, similar professions. So it was just so cool being a king yesterday. It reminded me of why I love that school. I met the principal. She was super, super nice. The kids hanging all on her. That's always a good sign when the kids hang on the principal. She said, I'm telling you right now, because she walked me to the college access. She said, I'm just walking myself. But she said, I'm telling you right now, we're going to get stopped every four steps. I was like, let's roll. And that's exactly what happened.
um we got stopped every four steps and the kids but the kids clearly uh liked her and so you know i decided not to be shady and be like so what went on up here i do none of that i do none of that i acted right i was like uh don't don't mess up the moment yeah don't mess up the moment but i just want you to know they have to be a little rough on security what i can't do oh yeah you like you knew he was coming in and you better
had your stuff together. That's good. And of course I came without my driver's license. So, I had my ID, my my global entry card. It has my photo on it. So, I had that. So, let me go to break. So before we get rolling, I want to play something because this I raised this question the other day, not having heard this interview. So hold on. What do you feel like was the best candidate?
But she was the only person who had real emotion. She's the only person who had real emotion. Respectfully, what do you think about Crowley? Because he is our Democratic candidate now for governor. He's our Democratic nominee for governor. Yeah, we can't let Tiffany in there, I feel like. Right. I mean, I don't know. I mean, my opinion is that he is our Democratic nominee for governor. Respect. Respect. But like I said, like it was a whole lot of shady stuff that went on. Yeah, primary. So like it's hard for me to sit here and be like, rock, rock, rock, go team. I'm not in a rock, rock, go team.
like we don't have any terrible do awful. Of course. Like that's sort of the extent of my feeling right now because like I would sound almost like manic if I went into like the real the real story about like how this all went down. Oh, yeah. It was behind what was saying what was saying slick stuff from the very beginning. Who's been making up like just blatant lies. Yeah. And like
the more I talk about it, the more I'm like, I get closer to just being in a burn it all down move because I am about to be collateral damage. All right. So some of you may have recognized at least one of those voices. This clip is a conversation that has been going viral on social media. Former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, former
candidate for governor in this current election cycle that we are in right now was talking on a podcast. And he, and I think the podcast is called part time. It's called part time opinions podcast. I think is what is the name of it. And so you will hear.
Uh, the brothers ask him to two gentlemen, ask him, you know, so what do you think about David quality and Mandela Barnes simply says he's the, you know, Democratic candidate for governor block. And then they ask him again. You know, he just says it again. So he gives no opinion on DC. And one of the things that I had raised, uh, one day, I think it was last week. I said, you know,
I have not seen some of the help come in DC's race, David Crawley's race that I expected to see. I never expected to see you from Mandela, but there are other places that I thought that I would see some help come. Even though the county executive was in yesterday, he said they raised $10 million between the primary.
and where we were yesterday, record amount of money. I respect that. I appreciate that. But when I'm talking about surrogates, when I'm talking about folks on the ground, when I'm talking about members of his own party, I still pay attention to, this is the one time in my life, I have been paying attention to the endorsements page on David Crawley's website. I don't know if his team has updated it or not.
But if it is current, y'all go look at his page and see whose names is missing from the endorsement page. Now, that does mean we need to understand if he asks people for endorsements. I don't, you know, I don't know, but the first time I looked at it and I looked at it, I've looked at it a couple of times since it hasn't shifted a ton, that endorsements page is real suspect to me.
because it's names that's not showing up that you were wondering where you at. Then I had raised the comment about, you know, they had had the breakfast, the powwow to come to Jesus. We all, you know, the primary, you know, the primary is over. This is who will emerge victorious. We're going to do what we got to do to unify as much as possible and get our candidate across the finish line.
I don't know that Francesca Hong has been like a overt, you know, DC cheerleader, but she has definitely been a party player in terms of we need to go vote. We need to vote Democrat. We need to show up. So she may not explicitly be saying DC's name and I don't know that she isn't. I just haven't heard a ton of her stuff since the primary.
But I know that there had been people I've been paying attention to social media who had kind of been lamenting the fact that it hadn't been more direct in terms of saying David's name. But I raised the question last week, where was Mandela in this whole thing? Because I hadn't seen him doing anything. And again.
I don't see everything you all put me on to information frequently Michelle you see this Michelle you catch that and you know sometimes I've seen it sometimes I haven't but I knew I hadn't really seen Mandela so when the podcast drops and You can hear it and first of all, you know because he's sitting up with these shades on and I That's kind of smile like okay
But it's just this whole, you know, kind of, uh, thuggish, ruggish ball look on the shades, the dark shades and, you know, um, I'm listening to the, um, somebody said DC's page is endorsement page is not updated because they endorse them. Their name is not showing DC. I need your team to update your page then if you got these endorsements because people paying attention. Um,
So, I listened to what he said and I said exactly what I thought that there was ill, you know, ill will, ill feelings. Now, whether it's directly directed at this David Crawley or just at the system and the process, I said Mandela took his ball and went home. And then when you listen to him in the podcast, he says,
You know a lot of shady stuff went on if I you know more I think about it if I really you know Got wrapped up in this I'd be willing to burn the house down and I Couldn't help but smile because I'm like you exactly who I've always said you was
You are exactly who I thought you were when all you Negroes was calling in here trying to defend him to me and I was the villain and bros in the barbershop was like share a lot of order share wrong She tried to keep her brother down. I know what I see
When you decide you're going to run against Lena Taylor, when you know this woman is more effective than the majority of legislators that's walking through that capital and that in your young career, you had never even passed a single bill, but you wanted to remove a sister from office who had passed more than 100 of her own bills, not co-sponsorships. Now that saw my name on somebody else's work.
All accounts, one of the most effective legislators, black or white, we have ever had in this state. And I'm not saying that as somebody who worked for her. I'm saying that somebody who has looked at the work. And you decided that you, in your brief tenure as a state representative, was going to take out Lena Taylor.
And when I saw you and I asked the question, why are you running against her? You said because y'all had had an interaction and she was rude to you. And you felt disrespected. And I was like, so let me be clear. So this is not about who's the better candidate for this community and who can perform because you've young, young brother have never passed a bill in your life. This isn't about that.
And for people to be like, well, Michelle, he had only been in the state assembly for four years. Go see Lekisha, see how many bills she passed in her first term, in her tenure. Go see other legislators, same conditions, they get bills passed. So I remember just standing there thinking like, there's someone with you, man, because this is personal.
But we're talking about the greater good of the community. And you let the white folks ensure we would geek you up to come try to take our Lena. Because there was a white legislator that when Lekisha got in office and didn't know that Lekisha was Lena's sorority sister, went in Lekisha's office and said to Lekisha,
It's so great that you guys are here because there was another black legislator standing there with location when it got said It's so great that you guys are here. Now if we could just get rid of Lena Not knowing dumb white lady that location started her career in Lena's office Her first job out of college was working for Lena not knowing
doing any of that, not knowing they in the same sorority, not knowing that Keisha got an immense amount of respect for Lena, none of that. None of that. But she said that to her. This was one of the same women who was in that crew of supporters that was egg and Mandela to run against Lena. And this is so when he says people shady and people this and people that,
I'm sitting here looking like, see dirt is fine as long as you don't want slinging it. Dirt becomes a problem when it gets on you.
When you mess up your white shirt, when you mess up your, your outfit, when your brain gets tarnished, because when they cleared the path for his behind during that, um, U S Senate race and forced good people out the race, like Sarah Godluschi, who is running for, um, uh, the, uh, lieutenant governor right now, when they forced Alex them out and I don't care what them people say publicly, they was forced out of that race.
When the field got cleared for you, you was fine with it. You were okay with it, even though...
Some of the people, because I'm going to tell you right now, Sarah Garuski is one of the baddest things moving. I respect the work that that young woman was able to do in a world where nobody had envisioned the way to execute this stuff and to play publicly and in terms of policy and creating access and opportunity for people. Sarah invented the game on some of that. That's why I'm so sad to see some of the people that's about to get in the office now, if the Democrats are successful.
I gotta take a break. But when the field got clear for you and dirty tricks and antics and pressure and threats got leveled against other people to clear the field for you to be the U.S. Senator, you was all good with it. Now, what did Jermaine say when we opened up this morning? What goes around comes around.
Now is your damn time to get moved around and now you know I can't think about it because I'll burn it all down grow up grow up I gotta go to a break
I'll be right back. All right, family, welcome back to the show. So I already had laid the groundwork that some of this was going to be uncomfortable this morning. Anybody that wants to call in, please feel free. I'm also noticing the comments on YouTube, a lot of chatter going on. One thing, let me do this. Everybody entitled to their opinion, you know, because I'm definitely going to always exercise mine. So I don't believe in shutting people's opinions down, except if you meet.
But even on Meach, I give him a long leash as well. But I will just say this, like somebody said in the chat on YouTube, was David Crawley's platform. The person who asked that question, at this point, if you asking that question, that means that I want to say this in a way that's not offensive. I want to say, then that means that you have not done your due diligence. I want to say that, you know,
You're not being a lazy voter. I want to say that But I'm just gonna go ahead and say that It took two seconds depending on your internet speed at your home or on your cell phone to Google David quality for governor and go to his website and
Any conversation that you have question about platform or you got to do and I'm not saying this because I'm David Carly go team rah rah. I'm just talking about business right now David Carly You got the about section tap on issues. That's where you get the platform and you get
on jobs and wages, expanding the middle class, entrepreneurship, healthcare, what he has to say about schools, what he has to say about climate, what he has to say about childcare, what he has to say about services for people with disabilities. And you literally can go down the left side of the page and tap on any one of those areas and see where he has made some comment or express the platform or any of these issues.
But if you want to go a step further, all you got to do is Google some more. And is there a particular area of interest that you want to know about? And then put that subject in alongside his name and see what comes up. But at this stage in the game, particularly with somebody that's already a current legislator, so you don't have to guess where DC is on a number of issues because he already is governing that way.
as the county executive. His priorities and his platforms frequently already come through because of the way he is running the county. But if you are sitting on a platform on October 15th, talking about what's his, his platform, I mean, if you, I should say, if you're sitting on a social media platform asking what is David Pauley's platform,
or October 15th, then you sleep at the wheel or you really don't want to know because it's not like the information is hidden. It's easy to find. So we're not going to be lazy about the way we do politics. If you got real issues and you want to come for somebody, then come for them. But we ain't going to be lazy about it. That's the part that I detest because it's too easy to get the information. That's why I was able to clown Mandela
When he was running and had been running that first time for us Senate for almost a year and when you went to his page You couldn't find out how to do nothing, but order a damn cup and a t-shirt There were no issues on the page whatsoever and only after I clowned on the show a week later They vomited a bunch of issues onto his webpage So let's debate
Let's disagree, let's dialogue, but we ain't gonna be lazy when we do it. When you step to the plate over here, come with your facts and information. Don't come with silly questions that you can find the answers to on your own if you're really trying to find them. I gotta take a break. I'll be right back. All right family, welcome back to the show. So let me just tell folks, I know that there are people that are trying to call in. We have installed a new phone system. And so there is some,
crossover happening in the lines right now. Some people are able to get through some or not. Some may be getting a busy signal or even sound like the phone line is disconnected. That's because we have a new system and they are working to make sure that everything is flowing smoothly. So we have some additional maintenance and upgrades that's happening in the next couple of hours. So just so you know, we are aware that there's something going on with the phones, but this is the
bumps and bruises of installing updated technology and new equipment. So they're figuring it out. So I just want y'all to know for those that are flagging us about the phone lines, we are aware and it's a part of the process right now as we install the new technology. Let me say this too, because I talked about surrogates and who is stomping and who's not stomping.
It has been announced that former vice president and presidential candidate Kamala Harris is going to be hitting Wisconsin on October 26th to campaign with David Crawley. Um, this is a week before they, you know, set it off in terms of the actual election day. And so this, this, this, this, this, the big dogs coming through Obama drops the, um, announcement and.
former vice president Kamala Harris is on her way. Let me take a break. I'll be right back. All right, family. Welcome back to the show. Y'all crackin' me up on YouTube. Oh my God. People going at it. But you know what? That's what it's about. Discourse, discussion, you know, disagreements, all of that's fine. That's what, you know, invigorates people, hopefully gets people engaged.
Please miss Myers busses north south. I went to college out. You seem to know who they are. I don't hide behind fake names. So let me let me just speak in terms of you because there's a lot of resume conversation going on right now. So let me let me take a pivot for a moment and because I was going to do this later but let's just do the resume stuff right now. The new press secretary.
Oh My god, so Katie Zachariah Who is 41 years old? California native a Media commentator who's appeared on Fox News and Newsmax and all the
things Republican, has been named as the new press secretary. And she formerly was a senior communications advisor for Trump's media and technology group, True Social. So this is where she's coming from most directly. Deputy Assistant Secretary and spokesperson for former DHS Secretary
Christine Ohm well another winner and as a spokesperson for Homeland Security So Typically you know you got a comms background communications Journalism you know because you got a lot of front-facing public Speaking you know connecting
informing, information, the whole thing. Well, Katie Zachariah will tell anyone that listens, oh, I'm a lawyer too, sweetheart. I am an attorney. I am a lawyer. Lawyer, lawyer, attorney, attorney, lawyer, lawyer, lawyer. And, you know, she knew. And so what happens when new people show up? Folks start saying,
Who was that? Who was she? Where you come from? Who you connected to? Who your people? You know what we do when a new person show up. Some of my people are trifling. They start googling you right away. I don't know that much about this person. So I'm going to do some, you know, cursory, not trying to, you know, do nothing hateful. I just want to understand who you are.
So evidently, some sleuths, some folks that were interested began to look for information about Miss Katie Zachariah. Only to find that, yes ma'am, you attended law school and you actually took the bar in California. But there's no record that you ever passed the bar.
So, you did go to Pepperdine Law School back in 2001. You did get a JD degree. So, your Juris Doctorate degree was conferred. And she got a bachelor's degree in polysath and government from Pepperdine as well. But the JD alone, and this is what people, you know, understand,
The JD alone does not license you to practice law in the United States of America Unless you are in you know, Wisconsin because if you went to a Wisconsin law school You can practice law in Wisconsin. You don't have to take the bar But you do need to be admitted to the bar across the board so multiple investigations
have begun looking up Zacharias passing of a U.S. bar exam in any state or in DC and no one can find that she passed the bar exam. So when she was pressed about it during her first briefing she said she passed the bar quote when I moved to China.
So US bar exams are administered only in the US. China's national unified legal professional qualification exam is for Chinese students. So there was no, I went to China and passed the bar.
It wasn't even a good lie. So I just want to be clear. And you think about this. Please think about this. You're working for the president of the United States who has access to the agencies that can find anything on anybody if they really look. So all of the background checks
to verify credentials and that you are who you say you are and you've done what you've done. So nobody in the vetting process figured out that this woman was lying about being an actual practicing attorney. Nobody figured that out. And then what did they do when they get caught?
in a nonsense. Well, being a lawyer isn't really a qualification for the job. That's not the point. The point is that she was out here lying. And that y'all dumb administration allows somebody lying about credentials to be a part of your team. But that's really who y'all got. A bunch of unqualified, underqualified,
But oh, she got blonde hair. She know how to wear the cleavage, right? That was pearly white teeth. That's what gets you a job, particularly as a woman in the Trump administration. That your shirt is, your skirt is short, your hair is long, and you will smile and flitter up to this old man at any, at any given moment.
This woman is not a practicing attorney. But we attack diversity, equity, and inclusion so we can keep black folks out because we know they're not qualified. When the plane crash or the plane disturbance happens and Charlie Kirk says, oh, I hope it wasn't a black, basically paraphrasing. I hope it wasn't a black pilot. Or you must admit, when you see a black person flying the plane, you do get a little nervous.
And what is Tom Tiffany calling David Carly right now incompetent? But Tom Tiffany ain't never ran agency or county with a $1.6 billion budget. You've never done any of that. You've never done any of that. You've never managed to supervise thousands of people. You've never done any of that. But DC is incompetent, but you have no experience doing that. You want to say something? I see you tapping over there.
Yeah, it's, uh, it's crazy because this is prime example of DEI. No, it's not. Well, I'll say why. No, it's not. No, it's not. Well, well, well, from their point of view, just, just, I don't like selling.
the term diversity, equity, inclusion. I can't stand doing that. Because now we're even doing it. We're like, oh, this must be DEI. We are permanently labeling diversity, equity, inclusion as something laughable, something not valid that describes incompetency. But go ahead, finish. I mean, I do understand that side of the spectrum.
But I mean, what I was trying to say is how he painted the picture of everybody that was of color, that was in office, have to been brought into office because the people that was in control were people that like black people or black people, right? Right. So now on the flip side, you have these white people that are in office. That's bringing in all this incompetency into the situation. So this black and.
That right there from their side. We looking at it like wait a minute So you was saying it was D. I when we was hiring people of color But in reality we was hiring people that can get the job done Y'all hiring people because
You want this white nepotism? You know racism all the isms That's where you know, we want you to look like the pretty stick girl You know walking around so that these men can have eye candy while you bent over at the office with your little files All of it is nonsense. Yeah, all of it is nonsense. We remove cq brown and put in you know a drunk
You know, I mean like this stuff is madness man. So it is absolute madness. So it's Donald Trump who won't release his transcripts believes in his delusional mind that you're smarter than Barack Obama. You're not. You're not. You can't even take out Barack Obama's trash. You're not. Academically, you got the vocabulary of a second grader.
cat you're not like i am so it is it is so ridiculous man what we are going through and we gotta sit here and watch all of this you got rfk who
Killing animals on the side of the road and whatever freak deepness go on in his situation Like dude is nasty and creepy looking everything connected to him. Just make you itch like
Like, you know how your teeth don't feel clean? That's what you do when you talk about kidney, RF kidney. Like, hmm, hmm. Let me brush my teeth. Like, it's just gritty and grimy. These people, you know, JD Vance talked about having sex with couch cushions. Like, and you told people that you put that in writing. Like, who does that? I just.
It's all too much. Jared Kushner over here, you know, meeting with leaders of countries and nations, but you couldn't get a security clearance to even walk up in the White House presidential office. If you were not the son-in-law of the president of the United States, they wouldn't even allow you on the White House grounds except as a plus one. You couldn't get in none of these rooms.
But you actually are somewhere negotiating with leaders around the world on behalf of this country But you couldn't get a security clearance because your credit was bad your reputation was shaky You were somebody that they thought could be corrupted Coopted colluded with in a way that could harm American interests but
Black folks and Mexicans is the problem. We the problem. And you don't want to make this about race, but they do it every day. So you're forced to stand up. You're forced to push back. You're forced to show examples that involve race.
So when the Republicans in Wisconsin, la, la, la, la, la, we don't put a referendum on the ballot. La, la, la, discrimination is wrong. But you're watching people be discriminated against every day. What P. Hexeth is doing in the military to military leadership is a shame before God. You are removing surgically black and brown people out of leadership roles.
You are inserting people who have no business in these jobs. You are removing men and women with institutional knowledge. They have forgotten more than you know. And these military exercises that we have been engaged in, many of them have been problematic.
Then you back begging hand and fist at the arm or having hand, you know, we need more money. We halfway through our military stockpiles. We need more money. We need more money. But what did you say? Wasn't y'all out here buying steaks and lobster? And paying for your women, your jump offs to have security. And I mean, what?
It's too much. It's too much. It's too much to stomach. And the folks that's supposed to be to check and balance are sitting here now, scrambling, trying to keep their jobs. Mike Johnson and Jim Jordan, you know, wrestling, because if we can maintain control of the House of Representatives, who gonna get their job?
Tim Jordan is as racist as the day is long and Mike Johnson got the backbone of an eel. But we're supposed to sit here and not have anything to say when we see the most incompetent people in the world right now running the American government. And they don't look like us. It is one
black person in Donald Trump's cabinet. When the last time you seen that black man? Do you know his name? There is one black person in Donald Trump's cabinet. Who is he? Where does he work? What's his name? Have you seen him at a meeting? Do I have to take a break? Let me take a break. I'll be right back.
All right, family, welcome back. This little time that went too fast this morning. Look, I got a caller. Let me get to me real quick. Hey, caller, what's happening? Hi, Michelle. Hey. One thing is, I saw Mandela Burns at the labor fest, and I asked him, what was he planning on doing? He said, I wasn't planning on doing anything. I'm going to take a break. I'm thinking to myself, well, are you going to help?
you know, this community, are you going to help, uh, Crawley, you know, help with his campaign or something or get people to, you know, vote for him? He's like, black people need some unity in this state. And I'm like, we are unified. We've decided who we're going to pick. So he's not, like you said, he's worried about himself. He's very spilled and entitled person. And I didn't see any black people in his struggle with all white people.
You know what? Don't even get me started. Thank you. And he was looking and he was looking and he had these shades on like the white boy shade with the color lenses. Yeah, that's what he had on in the video. Yeah, he was just looking like a fool. And then I'm thinking to myself, I said, we are unified, you know, but he yeah, he he's all about self. Yeah. And also one thing is I wanted, you know, because you said you were going to speak to the, you know, the churches about the referendum questions about voting.
I asked my pastor and I kind of disagree with him. He's not really a political person, which I don't understand because that's how the civil rights came with the black churches. But he said that, um, do you have any information or things that I could do? Cause I may have to speak in front of my church myself. Um, just leave your name and number with your man and I'll make sure you have what you need.
Okay, thank you. Okay. No problems. Hold on for one second. Okay. Okay. All right. Yeah, y'all. I mean, you know, and let me let me be clear. I don't take I don't take any personal joy in dragging people. I know sometimes it sounds like it. Sometimes I can be a little animated. But the reality is I don't start there.
By the time I get to the point where I'm just handling you rough, it's because I'm exhausted. I'm tired. I'm tired of trying to figure it out. I'm tired of trying to give grace. I'm tired of trying to make excuses. I'm tired of trying to understand why I'm seeing what I'm seeing. But, you know, again, when you'd have been a fishery of the game, then there's nothing to say. But when it's finally your turn,
to be the person that's getting played or used or cast aside or moved around. Now we saute and it's a possibility we could burn it all down. And, you know, let me be clear. It's been many people in the Democratic Party and Democrats and people that are supposed to be aligned value-wise with me, with Lena, with LaKeisha,
that have clowned us, turned on us, pushed us out. People who, you know, went out their way to keep me from being an officer in the Milwaukee County Democratic Party. I see them all the time. And they use black people to help them do it. Because a lot of people don't like black folks that's not only opinionated
strong but you educated and you know what the hell you doing and talking about and I don't mean necessarily academically educated but that you understand the rules in the game and you understand how to play and you you are not fearful to play and you are not fearful to call out BS a lot of them people get pushed out
You don't get to to to excel. I want mediocre I want manageable I want folks that you know only gonna rock the boat so far and then they're gonna know to be quiet Those are the people that get to stay and get promoted and get invited But you know what never changed me still getting out here educate my people You know what never changed all of us still fighting for our community
all of us still educating, all of us still being engaged, them college tours didn't stop, the activity, the work didn't stop. Whether I'm in the capital, I'm outside the capital, you know, whatever is going on, the work doesn't stop because if I'm here for the reasons that I said I was here, which was to make a difference and to do good and to help my community, that does not change because I'm not the candidate.
That does not change because I didn't get elected or I didn't get my way. I'm not burning down the house because I got mistreated. I'm getting ready to move the occupants of the house out. But I'm going to make that house still work for my community. This is a childish and immature way to deal with politics.
Which is some of the stuff that I was identifying when I first said why hell no, you can't represent me in the Senate I Go to break I'll be right back
All right, family, welcome back to the show. And this time has flown today. Oh, my God. I'm glad I'm looking at the comments. I see some folks corrected north south about whether Crawley had been on my show since he re entered the race. He came in August, actually. And then, of course, he was here yesterday. And, you know, I was one of the first people to point it out. So.
But anyway, I just wanted to acknowledge that. Thank you all for helping to educate people along the way. We got a caller. Let's get them real quick. Hey, caller, what's happening? Hey, good morning. Listen, that's that's that's ideal on the ballot about your subplaces being forced. We have to realize it ain't just no pandemic. It says emergency.
the church has always been sanctuary. You might have to run. We all might have to gather at a place of worship. Who knows what could happen? And the only place to move to would be that church. And that gives them grounds to stop your breath, arrest your breath, ticket your breath. And because we're giving up the only sanctuary where folk might have, it don't say nothing about a pandemic, but people are playing on the pandemic deal to have their way in the shit now.
God's will. It's his emergency. Okay. And the word sanctuary, we've always, it means safety. A place that you used to come running to a church if somebody was out here, but and the priests would not know what you couldn't get in that because it was a place of sanctuary. You could just make it to the church. I think we're using this pandemic thing.
this disease thing to do the devil's work, if you might add, because it doesn't make a difference. You know, you say, we're going to the store and we in there five minutes, right? It only takes five minutes to spread the disease, though, adjourn. The person going there touches the door and we touch the door. Yeah, yeah. That was the probability. Touch the handle, not thinking of your eyes, your nose, or whatever. And there you are sick. So it's not just about no pandemic thing. It's about the emergency.
And these people can declare anything on us, and we all may have to go to a big sanctuary and meet there and get our schools, right? And if we don't have people getting arrested on the way, I just thought I would say that, Michelle. It's more serious than what we were planning down to be, you know? So, and I don't care about Democrat or Republican, when it comes down to sanctuary, you don't meet mess with that stuff. Now, we done did a lot of damage to it already by going along with
The status quo to all my clothes. Thanks. Well, he's down and it could be for anything, man. We got to get there and gather there and huddle there, man. And we messed up with that. I'm going to get off the phone. All right. Thank you. Come on. Stop playing with people. Stop playing with listeners. This has nothing to do with, um, you got to run the air in time of an emergency like a weather emergency.
Hey, unless you rule America, anybody went into the church for a weather emergency. But, you know, whatever it is, y'all just looking for a new angle by which to talk about this. It does evolve out of the pandemic. They did not like it, but I will continue to say this and I, you know, I respect religion and, you know, everything that goes with it. But the United States of America was never designed.
for the church to have more power than the state government in the federal government. It was never designed like that. You have freedom of religion and freedom to practice your religion. But the things that govern how these things are conducted has always been within the purview of the state and the federal government. I appreciate the sentiments of people from the faith community.
but for people who get on here and try to talk really bad ass about what what the church what God do and what church do let the state tell you some violation is going on with that church. Let y'all not get y'all non-profit status. Let
The utility company come in and say some got to happen. There are all kinds of things that govern what go on in a physical building Because church is not the building Your faith is not the building And so let's stop acting like there are not all kinds of things that govern what happened in your building
If they come in and say the building is unsafe, unfit, they can close the building. So stop acting like somebody stopped you from practicing your faith because they had rules and regulations about the building. When you built it, there were permitting processes to build the building. The building falls under rules and regulations. That is my show for this week.
I appreciate y'all family. I'll talk to y'all later
