Milwaukee Council's Controversial Pay Raise Amid City Struggles
Say Something Real · Tue Sep 22, 2026
Good morning. Good morning. What's happening family? Welcome to the show. Okay, good. No good help. None. None. Um, all right, let me just say this. Uh, I heard from a number of people yesterday who said they couldn't tell that my teeth is toe up. So, Clark, I want to thank you for your excellent, um, you know, skills. Man in the cameras.
My son was like, yeah, your mouth was raggedy. I was like, I appreciate that, bro. I want to thank the dentist who has said, we got you a 1045. Don't worry about it this morning. So I could get my, you know, little consult. So I know what this surgery is about to look like. And so that I can smile again. That's why I didn't really mess with your man yesterday because I want to laugh. Folks, see I'm missing.
I'm missing a tooth. I can't, I can't be out here like that. Um, so good morning. Good morning. Welcome to the show. It is Michelle Brian here. W N O V eight sixty a.m. one oh six point five. And I'm talking funny too. I can hear it because all that air flying out there. One oh six point five. I don't know. I just don't know how people be missing a whole bunch of teeth. This is madness right here. Um,
106.5 FM. You are listening to say something real. And what you doing, Jubay? What you doing? I was just checking and see if this was, I mean, but your shirt looked a different color. Oh, I know. Yeah, this shirt always looks a different color. It never looks the right color. I thought I was tripping. I'm like, is this live? Yeah. No, my shirt. The shirt I have on is actually peach. Yeah.
But it always be like white and yellow or something. Yeah, I don't know what's up with the coloring. I know I want to. It never shows up on camera the way that's crazy. Well, now I take it back a couple of times. It's shown up the right way. But yeah, I could see it myself and I'm looking and I'm like, look, I got on a white or yellow shirt. So that goes to my point. What's your point? And that the lighting change how you look. So how do you know what you really look like?
You know what? I'm just saying. Whatever. You know the name and say something real? Yeah. So, I just took the day to try to match the color that I see like a little pink. Yeah. But look how it came out. Yeah. Look yellow. Yeah. That's the color. Yeah. No, I've never said before.
It's like a cream soda type of. My uncles, I'm cute. It's OK. Come on, baby. I smile. I'm in there. Hold on. Let me split my game. See you. I smile. I'm in there. I cover my mouth. Until I smile.
But look, let me say good morning to the brothers in the building. I got a lot to get you this morning This is my early day and so when I say we get ready knock these stories down we get right knock them down. What's up, Jermaine? How are you doing this morning? Hi, I know you got a lot. Goodbye. My man, Clark Kent. Who were the dentists, baby? The dentists. How you doing this morning? All right. All right. You know we got a lot. Let's get it knocked down. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. So let me start with
Let me just do this first. So yesterday I was going through a bunch of papers because I was looking for some stuff. Came across the folder that I had during COVID when we did the Christmas toy giveaway the first time, because we did it twice, but the first time was the biggest. And as I'm going through, like I just started like kind of looking through this folder and realized like,
We had toy requests for 1,171 children. We had people that even hit us up from out of state asking if we were giving toys. We had families, all of Milwaukee, families in Brookfield, racing. We had families from all over the southeastern area that were asking for assistance. And then I looked at, and I meant to bring it with me, I looked at like,
envelopes where people had dropped off something, dropped off money, had dropped off toys, had dropped and I just had to sit back and just think about how amazing the listeners to this station are. We had four people, well, you know, four of us that did initial seed money, myself, Martin Love,
to rail Martin and his wife, Felicia Martin, five of us and LaKeisha. We all chipped in 500 a piece to get it started. And then Wisconsin Voices came through. They donated money under Tamika Vukovic. Then the Democratic Party sent, I think, a check for $1,500. So they helped out. And then the community showed up.
And then we got a call from a group of teachers over in the Glendale area who said, we won't end. And we buy in toys, give us your list, and we wrap in them too, just come pick them up. And they had teachers after school just doing this assembly line with these toys. And we ended up giving toys to so many children. And this was the thing. We said, put.
Three items on the list that you want When I tell you those kids got all three You know it was put three on there we gonna try to get you you know We'll get you one of the three, but we want to make sure we get you at least one thing you wanted We ended up getting all three
All three and the only person that didn't get all three was a little girl who said I want the Barbie dream classic because the Barbie dream classic was like $80 90 and I'm like, okay, you go get that I think she got that in one other thing I think you got a Barbie doll just so you had you know, but when I tell you I love the people that listen to this radio station and I mean
I don't know if that was miss Pruer, but one person they had sent the note they had sent in 200 or dropped off 240 dollars and they towed every person that donated This person gave $5 this person she must have went around her building or were her neighborhood this person gave $5 this person gave $7 This person gave $20 this couple gave $20 When she first started doing it and she must have realized like okay, this is gonna take too long she had broken down by this person gave 40 quarters
10 dimes and two nickels. That's how she had written it down. So that people all, you know, we knew exactly what people did. So I'm telling y'all right now, we have been talking here at the station about doing something just to show how much we appreciate the people that listen to the state, you know, to the station that support us, that show up for the causes that we bring to you, that offer help even when all I'm doing is bringing forward a situation.
And I don't say, you know, community can y'all do anything and people just start responding. So we are working on that now. Leading up into the holiday to figure out a way to just let you all know how much we appreciate and value you and what you do and the way you show up in this community. Let me give one quick update. Folks know that we had been helping the young sister and her 5 year old son who had been.
you know, put out of the house where she was staying and didn't have anywhere to go. Jermaine picks her up on an Uber ride. That says everything in motion. This was back in June. As of a week ago, that young lady was placed into shelter care after we had made sure she had housing for the entire time. There were members of the community that called to say, hey, you know, we can do something
and help her stay here. Other places were like, look, I won't charge you the full rate of what it would cost for her to stay in this area over here. And so instead of her being in the hotel, I was able to...
you know, get her housing while we were somewhere to stay, I should say, while we were looking for housing. But one of the things that we ran into is that for her to be eligible for some of this programming, that she literally had to go through a formal referral, which we have been trying to get done. She had to basically go into shelter care to get the help that she needed. And so, and the thing that's crazy is because of the way she went in through domestic violence, shelter care, we don't have access to work.
She still has my number. She can call. We tried to call and check on her and her phone is off. So, um, yeah. So I said I was going to figure out if there's a way if I can figure out who her carrier is and then just go into the carrier and pay the phone bill. Just ask them, you know, because I know you can do it like that. Just like give them person. I just want to.
Here's the number and make the payment. So I'll figure that out. So that's the update on her is that she is in shelter care and there's one sister or two that I want to flag. Adeline Pressie who got me connected to this one sister, Andrea, who was able to help really put a lot of things in motion.
in terms of making sure she got in the shelter care. So I just want to say thank you, thank you to everybody because that was the, that was the latest battle. But I actually came across the receipts for Azaria's funeral expenses. I came across so many, you know, when we did the relief stuff after the storm for, I forgot what,
What area that was when we were helping people and we had the folks in from the show and we drove the van over to Chicago to drop off a van full of supplies and the stuff that people brought and came through so I'm just saying we have to figure out a way to tell you all to show you all how much we appreciate you all and so Dibo and I and folks here at the station have been talking about
you know, what what that will look like. So just so you know, we are planning that that's that's coming forward. All right. Couple of other things real quick. I am going to be giving away tickets this morning, a set of tickets to go see the Fisk Jubilee Singers. The person that wins that will also win if they want to the free ride on the bus.
to go up because there is a cost to take the bus up, but you're going to get dropped off at the front door. You don't have to worry about, you know, driving at what hour and almost 15 minutes, hour and a half, with gas being 459 right now. You know, this regular unleaded is working out to be about the same thing in terms of getting on the bus and riding the bus. So we'll be giving away a pair of tickets this morning for that.
a couple of announcements, so we'll get to all of that. So a lot, a lot, a lot going on. But I had a moment when I was going through my stuff and looking for some stuff, and someone had given me a copy of the Black Cowboy calendar, okay? And it was two things on the calendar that I started looking for.
I know they had put a whole bunch of people on here who had died. But remember when Evander Holy... Oh, here it is. November 15th, 2023. Former boxing heavyweight champs Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield teamed up to launch the ear shaped THC infused cannabis Holy Ears. Holy Ears snacks.
via the Tyson 2.0 global company. Did anybody know that Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson created some weed snacks called Holy Ears? That is so smart because you can capitalize off of you biting that man ears. And he was with it. I mean, yeah, let's make some money.
I never heard it is. I say, if anybody should know about this, it should be Jermaine. Yeah, you know. Anything they got to do with it. But literally, and I said, I need to go a lot and look and see if Holy Ears was still available. And why is it Holy? Because Evander was a church. Holy field, man.
Only black people so silly so it was that one that I wanted to mention
And so y'all got to remember we go celebrate and see if we can find Holy Ears on November 15th. Hey, let's go get some Holy Ears, man. And then it was one more I wanted. Like I had to tear the calendar out because I was like, no, I'm putting this up on my wall. Holy Ears. Wait, wait, wait. It's one. I'm going to go over to that guy and say something. Oh, there was one thing back in 2022 on November 8th.
Diddy spends one hundred and eighty five million dollars to become the owner of the first and largest black owned cannabis company. So. This do have one hundred and eighty five million dollars. To be the first and the largest black owned cannabis company. That was four years ago. And I didn't he presented jail. I mean, but but.
I'm sure him sitting in prison. One thing you don't have to worry about is his financial state that once he get out, he can hit the ground running because. All the lawsuits. Well, I don't know how much was protected. Well, when you got to lawyers that work for the man. Yeah. Working for you. The lawyers that work for the man that's working for you. Yeah. That's true. All right.
So this was another one I wanted to mention. This one happens October 27th in 1891. Philip L. Downing, African American inventor, patented the street mailbox. Remember, he used to go into town and get your mail from a, you know, the general store wherever it was. He was the person that created the street mailbox. The one in front of our house right now.
Our mailboxes across the street on the stick and yeah, that's how that's how it is But of course they're not gonna give us the credit because it's just like music in our culture. They take it and they brand themselves there, right? 1955 the first black ran post office opened in Atlanta, Georgia And who knew that who? This is type of stuff that we didn't like from us because they know that if we ever get a whole
of that book that got everything about us in it. Yeah, it's home. It's over with. It's home. Yeah. So it's so everything you've been telling us is a lie. So look, I gotta go to break. But before I do that, I want to remind and thank you, LaKeisha, for flagging this because, you know, she know the church people stuff. Dude, don't be trying to make me laugh today. Kojic listeners and pastors.
Please go vote before Holy Convocation in St. Louis. Convocation begins on November 3rd, which is election day here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Many of you will be already in route traveling. So you need to go vote. So pastors, I need you at these Kojic churches to stand up and remind your congregants that they need to go vote before many of them roll out of here on their way to Convocation.
Thank you church girl with Keisha for making sure that we knew that you know what I'm gonna make sure to I'm actually uh because I know some pastors that's in the Kojic circuit to make sure that they put that in the announcements like starting now because they know you can start prepping the people like hey make sure that you go vote
You know before you leave. Yeah, cuz think about I mean that's a really good thing to to understand to and like I said it was one I wouldn't miss it cuz you know I don't go church like that So I would have missed that see that's why you got to have friends from every stripe. That's right Everybody at the table last thing I'll say before going to break since I'm doing church stuff Lama guy missionary Baptist church has their blanket of love program in
a community of support. Participants receive education on prenatal care, labor delivery, overall health and wellness. The program connects participants to other resources such as housing, employment, food support, basic needs. That includes diapers, wipes, infant formula, et cetera, et cetera. Join them in person every Thursday Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. Lamb of God Missionary Baptist Church. That is Pastor, I almost said some slick, Pastor Boston.
You know, it would be great if we could walk into a room and because one of us gonna throw the first blow. It's gonna happen. Um, but he, he treat everybody else, you know, our spiritual when he come to me, he had to be all rough. Um, but pastor Boston and, uh, first lady.
who I actually like, Tony Boston, over at Lemigod Missionary Baptist Church, 8415 West Bradley Road. So remember, this is every Thursday Saturday. If you are someone who could benefit from prenatal care, labor delivery information, overall health and wellness, need help, resources, please stop by every Thursday Saturday over at the church for a blanket of love.
sanctuary. All right. What? I got one more church announcement. Okay, you got a church announcement? Yes. I just want to let the people know that from our WNOV team that our brother Keith Parris will be preaching and doing baptism at my church. Brother Meets will be doing praise dances. Oh, wait. Come on out and get baptized. I thought this was a real announcement.
Our brother Keith Paris will be holding people on the water for longer than three minutes and come see Meats in his tidy. He's praised as in that my church. Keith gonna be testing your faith for real. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold
9 a.m. to noon, Gordon Park Pavilion, 2828, North Humboldt, Boulevard. I hope it's, I mean, warm outside. It's at the pavilion though, so it's not outside. Okay, perfect. Health fair, free screenings and education, heart health, infant and maternal health, breast health, breast cancer prevention, brain health, memory care, blood pressure screening, teen mental health wellness, adult wellness, flu shots and more. Oh, this is a home for real health fair.
So, St. James United Women in Faith and the New St. James Community Church, they will be at Gordon Park Pavilion, 2828 North Humboldt, Boulevard, and that is this weekend from 9 a.m. to noon. I'll be talking about community brainstorming is happening this weekend. Look, somebody that go to the church where Keith is actually.
They just did some eyeballs like say what now? Yeah, he's going to be doing baptism in my church. Oh, yard ministry. Well, what are we doing? All right. So let me go to break this, which I'll be right back family. And I had to say this about one of the
the the the forms that I did. Everybody can tell me what you can do for us. You're not telling me what you will do with us. In terms of hiring, in terms of, you know, positions, any of this. So, y'all are going to have some real difficult, you know, days ahead. Some people and some people not. You already know who you're voting for, but this is not a done deal for me.
It's not and I've been here with some disturbing things like since David quality is out of the race They're you know, like all of everybody's expected to line up and vote for the black guy in the race. Yeah, that ain't how this work Because I'm still asking people about your track record, I'm still paying attention to what you're doing I'm still paying attention to who the hell you hire
And if you keep figuring out a way to come up with all really white teams and you can't figure out how to get no diversity, no people of color, why am I talking to you? Because you're going to keep me in the same position that I've been in. So I am encouraging people to be smart with your votes.
And everybody's going to be like, well, can so and so win? Can so and so win? Can so and so beat Tiffany? And y'all need to be more pragmatic. And y'all need to, you know, I'm done with the greater good. I'm done with it. Because don't nobody be worried about black folks greater good, including some of these damn black folks. I'm done with the greater good.
And I'm not dumb. I'm not stupid. I'm not politically immature. I understand all the things we have to do to try to position ourselves to get some of these people out of power. I work for government and it's almost a reflex action to circle the wagon. I deny, deny.
You know, it's just reflexive. Denied, denied, denied. I got frustrated sometimes with our leadership as opposed to addressing what's causing the error. They immediately went into defensive mode. Okay. Now, when you really own some BS, the first thing you're going to do is deny, deny, deny, deflect, right? And then lie, right? Now, let me say this. A lot of times it's not the original sin.
is to cover up the dust. But what was cool is that there were 150 young black and brown young men, um, high school age, all dressed in black suits, these beautiful red ties, uh, and they had come in from New York, Florida, and Cali. And there was this moment
And they all sat together in this one section. They walked in together. It was really, really powerful. But there was this moment when King Carter's father, the six-year-old who had been killed, you know, like 11 years ago, when his father said to the young brothers, he said, how many of y'all are 17? And a number of them raised their hands. He said King would have been 17 this year. He would have been out there with y'all.
And one of the kids, it was just like crazy because it was, you know, it was quiet. And one of the kids yelled out, he is here. He's with us. We are him. And the father, I thought the father was going to just be gone. I mean, he thanked the young brother. He said, thank you so much for saying that, bro. But it was just this really, really powerful moment. We knew what this dude did and what he was up to in his first term.
How anybody thought that somehow an old leopard could change its spots. It's not true. And for the people who, you know, the evangelicals and all those folks who, you know, we go in and that Trump was sent by the Lord.
Oh my god, I feel my nerves up in here. Let me go to my... Hey, caller, what's happening? Hello. Good morning. Good morning. Not at all, I'm just joking.
Yep, soon as you come, all the joy will right out the room. Soon as you come, all the fun is over. You're a joy thief? You're a joy thief? You're a joy thief? You're a joy thief? Yeah, I'm a joy thief. Yeah, y'all feel like you're after this. Well, what is it, Scrooge? What's you want this morning?
I heard y'all talking about, and I ain't forgot about you right out about the Toot Toot and all. I'ma tell you something, you should have had me preaching and Toot Toot and Toot Toot. Okay, cause Teeth be going the best of the people now. Hey, you know those people was on a crusade this weekend, they was out passing out flyers, and this is no joke.
I said, try it. Be bold. They're out past. I got the I got a copy of the flyer. Got friend of mine said, man, look what they doing. I could not believe they're out. What the fire say? I said, try it. Be bold. It said, try what? Be bold. Well, we try the lifestyle. Be bold. Encourage yourself. It's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's
Okay, well, anyway, you guys are talking about how the patents and how people have robbed and pillaged our community for the patent credits and all of that. But in reality, I want you to put your seatbelt on for this now. In reality, we have allowed them to do that. In some cases, we sold that. In some cases, we need to be put in a situation. No, no, no, no, no, get the book, get the book stolen. Look at me.
get the book stolen. Yeah, I appreciate that. But we also understand the extenuating circumstances. Yeah. So, you know, so you gotta be careful when you say we allowed it. Because you give me an example. Because first of all, we've been inventing stuff since we've been here. And so in some cases, we didn't allow it. It was just taken.
It was not, it was not anything that we said, oh, here, here you go. Sure. You can get credit for this. We didn't even have legal standing to file patents and get credit for our work. In other cases, because you are so desperate for money that you will go ahead and allow somebody to give you a few pennies for something so that you can feed your family or survive in that moment. Hold on. We're doing that right now. Yeah, but I'm not talking about right now. I'm talking about.
You know, you can always figure out a way to make something our fault. Like you said, circumstances. Darling, well, preface that money. Preface that when you're talking about it. You can rub money all over me, man.
I didn't know. I didn't mean to hang up on them. I followed directions. Go back, Meeks. Meeks called us back, man. I'm so sorry. My fingers hung up on you. My hand hung up on you. You said I followed directions. No, I never followed directions. No, but seriously. But you know, Meeks called back. Yeah, we hung up. Jermaine hung up on you by mistake. I was kidding. At least at one time, I was probably kidding. And I completely apologize. So Meeks, if you're listening, call back. But I do want to say, just like he was just saying, I know of an incident in my family that mine
My great-great-grandmother had some land. My great-great-grandmother, my great-great-grandfather had some land down south. My great-great-grandmother needed some work done on her legs or something so the doctor came over to the house and then told my great-great-grandparents, well, I'll do the surgery for you if you give me the land. And they was like,
No, even though she needed it and they knew she needed it, right? But they weren't willing to give up the land, right? And and and yeah, you know, she passed. She passed. But it's a story behind the land that I really don't want to say over there. But yeah, I mean, and that's the thing that's crazy. You know, we know even a lot of these castles in the music industry, you needed money.
So, you end up letting people, you know, just take advantage of you. But so, I'm just saying when you're going to have these comments, make sure that you preface them by saying, you know, this is out of necessity. Is that him back? All right, let's get him in because come on, Meach, let's go. You know, plan piece is a real serious thing. I'm going to tell you something. This is something that's still going on that's been going on for hundreds of years. The big lumber yards, the big lumber, the big tree people.
in the southern states, Alabama, Mississippi, uh, some parts of Texas, they, uh, the big lumber yard, they go out and they lease your land for a hundred years. They usually do a hundred year lease. Okay. That's a hundred year lease. Now that's, uh, probably four, that's about maybe five generations. If you go in 20 years a generation. So do you understand that there's people right now that own land, huge amounts of it that don't know when they look over there, they just say, Oh, that's southern time.
Okay, that's Southern Pine on that. No Southern Pine has leased that probably back in the 50s or maybe even the 40s right now. And you don't even know because they've stopped the dividends from coming in. There's no dividends because even them, even the leasers has passed on and not eight people is still running it. And they just do to pay the taxes every month. I mean, every year. So what happens is we wind up perishing.
going away and not even knowing that you own 500 acres over there. You own 300 acres over there. Because every time y'all drove past the road, y'all thought it was Southern Pine. I'm just making Southern Pine name up. And so people need to go back and research where they actually come from. Instead of trying to do that old dumb genealogy, putting your DNA in a data bank, when guess what? You probably own hundreds of acres. That's still yours. It's still yours. Guess what?
The people leave sit out a hundred years ago. Those people know that they do that. Okay. Okay. Okay. One more time. One more time. Go ahead. One more time. When you, when you, when you, when you pursue this, pursue it with real diligence because you probably got a hidden treasure. Most people don't even know it. And that's, that's the game. They rent the land out to you. And guess what?
They wait and when the lease is up those people they let it go back to the land sales. See and then they pay the taxes in Mississippi some cases three years and they own it right out Alabama Arkansas, they got a stipulation on there after a few years. So go back and look at your people stuff man. All right. I'm gonna close. All right. Thank you very appreciate it. Um, look, uh, you you you you can do both. You can understand the, um, history.
of land ownership in your family, and you can do genealogy. I don't know why things have to be one or the other. I don't know why genealogy has to be dumb, particularly for a group of people, many of whom had no idea, you know, specifically of where they originated from. Now, you got the in general, somewhere off the continent of Africa.
But was it in this country, this country, this people, these people, what is that genetic makeup? There's nothing dumb about understanding your genetic makeup. So just you could do both. I need to take a break. But when I come back, I got to talk about a vote that's going on this morning down at City Hall. Milwaukee, all the persons are in the midst of considering giving themselves another.
pay raise increase of about 8% plus an additional 2% annually thereafter. We just did this in 2024. We just did this in 2024. When it came up in 2024, I supported it because they had not had a pay increase in 16 years.
Let's talk about it on the other side of the break. I'll be right back.
All right, good morning, family. So as I said before, I went to the break this morning, there is a vote going on down at City Hall. A piece of legislation or proposal, I forgot what they call it at the city resolution, whatever it's called, was introduced by Aldo woman Marina Dimitrievich to provide a 8% pay raise increase to City of Milwaukee.
all the persons, the mayor's salary would be raised, and then it would be followed by 2% annual bumps beginning in 2028. So the way the law is currently written, sitting legislators in this area cannot make pay increases during a year that they're currently serving in. So they can't
They would be like, you have the ability to raise your own salary while you're in this role. It would have to be for the next term, which means they have to get reelected. Then they could benefit in the next term. You can't benefit in this term. Right now, it has passed out a committee. It was a 3-2 vote.
All the women Malalee Cogs, all the women, Charlotte Moore voted for passage out of committee. There were two older persons who voted to not see it move forward. They voted it down. Voting it out of committee would then allow all of the 15 common council members to be able to weigh in on whether or not.
they should get this pay increase. Now, the one thing that I will say is that we just were here going into the 2024 term year in which Milwaukee orders were able to demonstrate that they had not received a pay increase in 16 years. And there were a lot of people like, did you see this? I saw it and I'm not mad because I know that a public officials are woefully underpaid.
given what they do in comparison to the private sector. So I had no beef with people. And then when the issue was put on the table, you need to make sure you're taking care of city workers before you take care of yourself. I 100% supported all of that. But here is my issue now.
And it's the same issue I had with NPS after they do the $252 million referendum. You knew when you came to the table, you had not asked for enough money. So, taxpayer sign off on this 252 and now NPS is saying, we're still in trouble. We need more money again.
We may need to do another referendum again. We need additional money. You knew when you came to the table, you were not asking for enough to deal with what you needed to. I believe that Milwaukee Alder persons knew when they did the request in 2024 that they had not asked for what they needed to to keep rate with where they should have been in terms of pay.
And so, you know, you you give people this bite size thing in 2024 knowing you coming back around in two years to ask for money again. And I got a problem with it this time. Because I'm not telling you you don't deserve it, but let me be clear. The city of Milwaukee, all the persons make more money than any other elected officials in this state besides.
the governor, the sheriff, the mayor, and, you know, like the judges. They make more money than the state legislators who make about $58,000 a year. Whether you a senator who's responsible for three, I mean, three assembly districts or you are in a state representative and you only responsible for one assembly district.
Lena made the same money responsible for three times as many people as LaQuisha did, and LaQuisha only had one assembly district. So LaQuisha had 57,000 constituents. Lena had 150,000 constituents, but by state statute, they made the exact same money. That was madness.
That was madness. What they did was give Lena more staff to be able to help manage all these people. But that means you got three times the appearances, three times the constituent calls, three times the meetings, three times the everything. All the men in this city make more money than the Lieutenant Governor. Again.
I don't begrudge people's ability to get paid fairly. But you are doing this in a time when gas is $4.00 in a gallon. When, you know, people are worried, the whole term is affordability, affordability, affordability. Who can ready to pay for this? Where is this money coming from? As you are doing city budgets and asking departments to tighten their belts, where does this come from?
And I wish people fought as hard to increase the minimum wage, even though that's a federal conversation. But the minimum wage has been the same for over 20 some years as $7,025 an hour. So it's a bad look right now to be telling people we need a raise when you just got one two years ago.
You know, if you say, well, it doesn't go in effect until 2028, y'all still going to be the ones that benefit from it. Don't nobody never leave them seats. The same old people run every year, year after year, year after year, year after year. It's a good gig for the most part. You make more money than most elected officials in the state. And again, is it fair?
If you were working in a different sector, would you make more? You probably would. But the other thing I would also say, some of y'all wouldn't. Because academically, you don't have what it would require to make 100 plus thousand dollars a year. Some of y'all do. We got some other persons as lawyers. We got all the persons that's got advanced degrees. I appreciate all of that. But you are now talking about, can you close that door?
You are now talking about, under the previous plan, the mayor got a 15% raise that went into effect in 2024. That sent the mayor's salary from 160, that boosted the salary up to $169,000. If this goes through, the mayor's salary would go up to like $180,000. The common council member salaries went up to $84,000.
And the president of the common council salary went up to 94,000 and some change. The city attorney who by law cannot make more money than the mayor only makes a few pennies less than the mayor. So.
who had ruled on one of these pay plans when he was in office and got it wrong. Where's the surprise there? Evan Guakinen came back in and said, the former city attorney actually got it wrong. State law didn't allow them to do something that they did. So, y'all gotta wait. And what it does is it stops Evan Guakinen from being able to get raises they would have got because his pay can't exceed the mayor's pay. So,
The whole thing is just crazy. But the way this is currently set up, council member salaries would go from 84,000 to 90,000. The president's salary would go from 94,000 to 101,000. The mayor's salary would go from 169,000 to 182,000. And the two people that voted against it were Scott Spiker and Peter Bergellis. Okay?
So, I don't know. I'm sorry. The timing is off for me. People are struggling. I want to understand where this money comes from. I want to understand if city workers are okay and what kind of money, you know, we're going to be taking care of city workers. I remember the last time I had city workers reaching out to me, you know, when Aldo and Shantia Lewis at the time, you know, proposed a $10,000 increase and city workers was like she got to be out of her mind.
because many of us haven't seen it raising. I don't know where. Yeah, it was it was a whole fiasco and they had to pull it back. And the thing that made it so insulting with Shantia Lewis, she hadn't even been on the damn comic council for five minutes. Hadn't been on the council for five minutes and you are here tomorrow. We need more money to attract people in the future. Stop lying. You want to attract no people in the future.
Because all y'all don't leave them jobs. Once y'all get in them, y'all don't go nowhere. Don't nobody retire and go work in the private sector. Y'all stay right there. So, you know, I don't know, you retire. Those jobs do not turn over. And in our community so complacent, you don't go in and evaluate people's work and be like, should people go or should they stay?
Should we vote them in again and then nobody really runs again against them for real? So some people all they got to do is get their signatures and they they they on the ballot and they they won because nobody runs against them The Andre Jackson is the only one I've recently heard a whole bunch of people said we need to run somebody against him That's the only one So yeah, I can't be with y'all this time on this because
People are hurting in this country. People are hurting in this town. And when you in leadership, you don't get taken care of before the people get taken care of. What are we doing to deal with some of these issues that's out here? Now, the likelihood is that this is going to pass because they get to make the decision. But I'm going to tell y'all this time, I can't rock with y'all. I don't support it.
because you got too many people in trouble out here. The stuff that I see going on in this city right now is madness. It's madness. It's madness. I'm sorry. This ain't the right time for this. I gotta take a break. I'll be right back.
Alright family, welcome back to the show and I didn't say yet. Let me say good morning to the folks joining us on YouTube and Facebook. We appreciate you guys for checking in. Also, obviously to our folks listening on regular terrestrial radio. Before I went to the break and call, I see you here. I come just taking a minute to talk about what is getting ready to go on down at City Hall this morning. A vote by the members of the Common Council.
on whether or not they are going to increase their pay by 8 percent and then 2 percent thereafter annually. This wouldn't take effect until 2028. They are prohibited by law from raising their salary during the current year that they are in office. So they would have to get reelected again.
And, you know, be able to benefit from this. I want to also correct myself. I went back and looked because I wanted to double check because I forgot that the state had did a review of salaries and tried to bring them more in line with what was happening nationally.
So the Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin makes $92,000 a year now. That's how much Sarah Rodriguez is making $92,000 and some change. And if this is passed, members of the Common Council would make $90,000 and some change. And the Common Council President would make $101,000. So the Common Council President is the only auto person that makes more money than the Lieutenant Governor right now. Again,
I understand people deserve to be paid fairly. I also understand that minimum wage hasn't gone up since 2009. And if it were not for COVID, a lot of people still wouldn't be getting $15 and $12 an hour. COVID was the thing that made these companies liars in most cases when they said.
that the organization's backward break if they pay people over 725 an hour. COVID was the main, like I said, it was a mixed bag in terms of what we benefited from as a result of COVID. And, you know, more people can work remotely. They didn't have to be in a building anymore. But it's so much going on right now.
And there's so many services that we need and there's so many, you know, and then people, somebody said, Michelle, can you explain what all the persons do? I can certainly do that for you. But, you know, people are talking about the condition of the city and how things look. And hey, these people got to take care of their families and I'll begrudge anybody the ability to do that. But you just got to raise two years ago. You should have asked for what you needed two years ago, just like MPS.
You should have just just go ahead and give me that big bullet at one time Let us bite it and deal with it and then move on and you would have had a more receptive audience because it had been 16 years But to turn around and do this now No, I ain't got no respect for it. Let me go to the phone line. Hey caller. What's happening? Hello, hi, how you doing this morning?
I'm good, I'm good. Good. Listen, how do we weigh in to say no, no, no, no, no, no. Enough of our money is for those that are retired and I'm one of them is being eaten away by medical. You know, I don't have the healthcare plan or package that I had when I was working.
can't afford to take care of my medical, can't afford to drive a vehicle anymore, can't afford to live the way that I was used to living when I was working. So I want to say no, I am sick and tired of every time the city of Milwaukee turns around, they want to up our money to pay for their wages.
get a different job just like everybody else has to do. Get another job. Get two jobs. That's what I want to know. I want to know how do we weigh in to say no. Thank you. All right. Thank you for the call. The one thing I will tell you is that the point to have weighed in would have been during the committee hearing.
It would have been at that time if that was up in committee and was being decided that people would have been able to either submit public testimony, perhaps come testify in person. It is passed out of committee. So the public's only option to weigh in at this point.
is to have to call their other person's office directly. I'm not sure what time that meeting starts this morning. I can look real quick. But it's a phone call to the other person's office because that opportunity has already passed. And I'm not sure when it came out of committee, I'll go back and look real quick. But like I said, I would have just felt better if you asked for what you needed.
when you did this in 2024. But to do this now, and then 8%, then you're gonna get to 2% annually through 2031. And like I said, how are the city workers faring in this whole deal? Because this is the other thing. Before y'all talk about what you're doing for yourself, less publicly have talked about what you're doing for city workers. And I'm not saying you're not doing anything, but make the public aware of that.
because I just remember when again, then all the women Lewis brought this whole thing up, the city workers was hot as a firecracker because their pay had not moved and everybody being asked to bite the bullet and Chevy gonna stand up at the podium and tell people, you know, we gotta tighten our belt and we gotta, you know, cut budgets and we gotta departments gotta figure this out and everybody gotta figure it out. We all deserve better.
Everybody deserves better. But leadership, they don't get to take care of themselves before other people are taken care of. That's one of the awful parts and the sacrificial part of being a leader. I'll make sure my people good before I'm good. I do. This is not like being on the plane when they say put your mask on first and then put everybody else's mask on as younger than you that may need your help. In this case,
And I'm sorry, I can't support it this time. It's a bad look this time. I just spent $54 to put $11 worth of gas, I mean, 11 gallons worth of gas in my car. And every place I go, everything is costing more money. And then I look around the city and I'm not even happy with what I see. That medium down,
capital driving. What is that? Green Bay? I was at the light and just looked at all of the dirt and the filthy trash from homeless people sitting out there, leaving all that stuff out there and he's just like, man, come on y'all. The dumping only for you not to charge people with dumping but charging with some some frivolous nonsense where they don't get the maximum penalties. This just ain't a good look to me.
It's not a good look. City workers got their raises, they voted on them unanimously for it last budget. So make the community understand that. Sima just sent that to me. Make the community understand that. But I still keep asking the question, why didn't you ask what you needed for what you needed when you did this in 2024? Or that cycle leading up to the 2024 term?
I'm sorry. And then this is the other thing. Don't ever call into the station. They'll never come by and say, look, let me tell the people what's getting ready to happen. And let me tell you why. And let me tell you where I stand on it. We'll never, we'll never get them calls. We'll never get nobody to stop by. You can stop by from calling you.
But you can't be proactive and say, look, y'all, let's get out in front of this. This is what we're about to do. This is why, you know, if you want to weigh in, we want to hear from you, come to the committee meeting and talk about it. People know how to be real quiet when they don't want you looking at what's being done. But. I want to go look for the stuff where I can see I want to understand what city workers got. And.
if they good and if you a city worker call and let us know if you good or if you're all about to be good. Let me go to the phone line. Hey, Carla, what's happening? Hello? Good morning, Michelle. Good morning. I knew you were going to call. Good morning. How are you doing this morning? No, you're good. I've been saving an issue for a while. I'm resting. I knew he was calling today. Go ahead. I knew what happened to Michelle when you reached out.
I mean, you can not reach out anymore. Look, this happened before I left town. The committee had voted, I think, before I left town. But go ahead, what you got for us? It was on the Wednesday of last week. We have an old public hearing. There was no public speaking on this. Oh, really? Yeah, this is just last Wednesday. OK. Let's just understand exactly what we're talking about here. And I don't know why.
If you have to pay for gas, why don't you just go to your gas allowance? Because all of them get $400 a month for gas allowance. So maybe that helps them out. I'm not sure. We should know that they get a 56% better pension multiplier than the guys from Pawel, people that came out during the floods, people that are in the forestry, in the water, they get a 56% better pension than the workers.
already. And you can check my map on that. I'm pretty sure. What's the plan? Do we have an agenda for the city of Milwaukee, for the north side? Look at development on the north side. I said, look at that. You enter the, like you said on Green Bay, it's disgusting. As soon as you get to the north side, as soon as you go under the bridge and get on the Fond du Lac, you know you're on the north side.
You go past that Seuss, Bill Clinton, vacant for 10 years in bed with a sexual predator. This is sick stuff. These guys don't even meet. Jose Perez runs a steering and wheels committee meeting. There's nothing on his agenda. He has skipped 18 steering and wheels committee meetings in the past two years. They didn't talk about shock.
They didn't talk about the floods. They don't talk about development. We serve water to New Berlin. Remember that about, it's 20 years ago now. I think it's 2005. You know what's happening right now? Alan Bradley, now Rockwell, is moving out to New Berlin. Hello. Is there any connection here? It's a $2 billion development. And what they're doing, and instead of
Loaning companies to the north side. They are sending them to move them in. You've got Century City over there, sitting for 15, 18 years. Nobody out there, you've got two vacant buildings there. They're waiting for them two buildings to fall down, just like they did over on 32nd and Hampton. Some of the fire alarm firing in the warehouse, that was part of a Rocky Marquin and Tom Derrick development eight.
15 years ago. They waited for that building to fall down. And yet you go to city development, you ask these people, they know me. I've been there all the meetings or a lot of the meetings. They know me. I walk into the room and they told me, Midtown is a success. Michelle, help me. No coffee, no rest, but they're putting up our warehouse, our storage facility. And now the,
cherry on top of the whole thing. They're going to put housing on contaminating land in midtown parking lot. God help me. I cannot believe what I hear. You don't have to go to Washington or president to find this chaos. You've got it right here. I'm just, they have infrastructure in this city. We remember just recently, remember this. Oh.
We don't have any fire trucks in the garage. Why not? Maybe we should have thought of that like five years ago. You don't think about that the day you meet them. You gotta think about that. That's what infrastructure. Well, we have a committee that's left over from the socialists. Where's Frank Zeigler when you meet them? Geez. We have an infrastructure committee. Jose Torres and Marina Dmitrievich.
haven't attended this committee meeting in five years. Bob Baumann hasn't won this committee. We're on three years. You've got two viaducts that call you at the same time and not one of the 15 older men knew that it was coming. This is beyond bad. Let the people set your salary. My God, we can't even do a swag show. There's no agenda.
What are we doing? What's the plan for jobs? For development? We've got a downtown plan. No, we've got two downtown plans now. We've got a Bay of View plan. No wait, we've got two Bay of View plans. Welcome to the north side. We're cutting on thousands and thousands of trees in the north side and planting trees down off a national avenue down in the Harbour District. So the people on the south side
can go and dip their toes in the water while we on the north side just go on and on. Now they're using borrowed money to fix our street lights on the north side. On the south side, they're painting mirrors in the alleys. They're painting mirrors underneath the bridges. They're redoing the roads. They've got all kinds of development.
Here's a new one. They've got an innovation district coming on the south side. What's that? What a great idea. Maybe Midtown could have used that. Maybe Northridge could use that. Maybe Century City could use that. Maybe 32nd Hampton. That development's been waiting for 18 years. 35th and North is a developing site. Don't have food stores. Nothing.
not a food desert all over, and the common council has not even met seriously about food deserts. So we're not eating, we have no street lights, we have no development. Okay. I got it. All right. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I gotta take a break. Look, sorry about that. Didn't mean to cut you off. Gotta take a break. Next caller, I'll see you. I'll be right back, y'all.
All right, family, welcome back to the show. Got a caller. Let's go straight to the phone line. Hey, caller, what's happening? Good morning. I don't think, you know, I don't think the north side at this point is going to really get anything because it's majority black. I also feel the north side is a her father, derelicts, the trans is and the drifters. And I think the problem is a lot of people feel there's an issue.
with these people getting all these raises because everybody acting like they're autistic, non-verbal. But nobody has nothing to show for it. So I don't understand why you need all these raises and you have none to show for. An example would be like a junkie. They always need money, they need money, they need money, but they still keep doing that dope.
And we'd like, well, I'm giving you this money up here in your rent, and you still burning up all the silver spoons in the house where the money is going. And there's still a junkie. So I think maybe we need to remove all the people that's over here. Or do you feel that the door side would be different if it was 85% white? Because then everybody would be on it like a nose on good cocaine or a good crack on fine china.
All right on the bottom of the gold spoon, you know, we got a big big cloud in the house. Oh, okay. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. All right. Oh my God, Jesus. Um, all right, look.
I got a couple of things I want to cover. I said I was going to give away a pair of tickets for the 5th Jubilee Singers that are going to be in Jamesville. Excuse me, as a fundraiser for Milton House, which is the only underground railroad site in the state of Wisconsin that you can actually go and physically tour a portion of the
the underground railroad passage. So let's do this. I'm trying to think of a question that is good to ask about Fisk University. So who was the university named after? And when did they convene their first classes?
Who was the university named after and when did they convene their first classes? Because one of the things about Fisk University. Their first students that came through the doors were arranged in age from 7 to 70. Did you have to see it? 7 as in 7 years old to 70. So.
Who was Fisk University named after? And when did the first classes convene? All right. Let me go to the phone line for the other caller. Hey, caller. What's happening? Hello? Hi. Hi. How you doing this morning? I'm fine. How you doing? I'm good. I'm good. What's going on? Well, look, you and Michelle are Michelle. Yes, ma'am. I like the last call. I think it's done.
He was in the last one before the last. Right. John? Yes. He hit the walkie right on the spot. I talk about that all the time because every time you look at TV, there's always black clients, black clients. And that's the money they spend on advertising us to be the criminals of the herb. I said they could spend helping the areas. But either way, he spoke about Alvin Bradley. I retired from Alvin Bradley. I retired another six.
then they were moving before then that's when we started offshoring the jobs and getting cheap labor and all that stuff and then they brought in a company from California and these were the white collar workers the office area they brought in people from there to the big place over here down on Southside so now he said they were moving to New Orleans so I guess they're still scoping on
you know where they're going to move or and they keep saying all this crime is in the city and blah blah blah so we can't get people to want to locate here I mean they never say anything good about our city but it's just um even like you feel when they come here and they pass up the street they open back up the little cheapness everything they do they're all sure it isn't that the clothes are cheap the buttons fall off everything the cheap they bring in here they pimp us we're doing pimp every time we open our eyes there's still someone
Um, especially, um, like I said, it's a racket. And so they needed somebody to blame it on. So it's always the black area. That place over here. Uh, when they were trying to bring that, uh, meat plant, my dad worked at a meat plant. He worked at Albert Truffle. It used to be down below the valley downtown there. And he was pink because you could smell that coyote and stuff. And you were right about that. See, they don't sell shoes about them. They just want to drop.
of the sewage here. And then we pumped not only in New Berlin, we pumped water out to the office shop. Right. But he had that Brasky guy call us a sewer. But we got so many good amenities. And they want it. So they want us out of here so they can let make more places and run them out or whatever, whatever. But they got choices falling apart. Everything's falling apart. But they don't need no raise. They don't need no raise. If we make $7 something now, they don't need no raise.
Alright, man. Thank you. I appreciate it. Let me just touch this real quick before I go to the next caller. The caller had mentioned Midtown and he talked about that they are talking about building the housing units on contaminated land and somebody said, Michelle, what did he mean by that? So over at Midtown, there is an underground storage tank that was left behind.
from long demolished Capitol Court. So when Capitol Court came down, they left this storage tank underground and it has contaminated the surrounding soil. The site, you know, is due for environmental cleanup. Under Milwaukee's Brownfield cleanup, revolving loan, a million dollar loan is out there. And they were saying that Gorman and Gorman, that is the developers for that site.
would be, you know, eligible, I guess, for this million dollars to clean it up. They got to remove the buried tank, haul it away, haul away all of the soil that's connected to it, and install a soil cap and vapor mitigation system before construction starts. So that's what that meant when, because somebody said, wait a minute.
So we over here raising hell about the data centers, but. Many people may not have understood that. There's no housing. It has not been any housing over there because it's contaminated soil. And we've seen projects that have been allowed to move forward that had contaminated. You know, soil and foundational situations that ended up being problematic.
So that was the other piece of it that now when you say it out loud and when this caller calls in and says yeah It wasn't just the data centers while people are like, okay, they're gonna put a housing up in the library up But the housing has to The soil the soil got to be addressed for the housing to go up same thing with this site over here
up off of capital. No, up here off of 30 something capital. I was at a meeting for that, that facility and that site where they're looking at doing some work and it's tanks or it's, I forgot what they call them. I wrote them down in my notes, but yeah, it's a contamination issue over there too. And so people are trying to figure out like, what do we do with this, this land because the cleanup is, is crazy expensive.
So, I gotta be honest, I missed the boat when they were talking about Midtown and what remediation on this ground would look like. But let me see if I got a caller for these tickets to go see the fist jubilee singers. Hey, caller, what's happening? Hello? Hey, Michelle, how are you doing? I'm good. How are you doing today? Good. Thank you for reading. It's hard to hear you.
Okay, go ahead. Thank you for reading that flyer about the new St. James women at the health fair that they're giving this weekend. And I hope we can get a lot of people to come out and get their blood pressure and all that stuff done. And they do have healthy stacks there for you. So I'm hoping everybody can take time to go to there. No, thanks for sharing the information. Yeah, yeah. Not to be controversial, but the guy was talking about the land that they're building on now.
I don't know. It might have been five years ago when they did that to this one apartment building that they had those people living in. I don't know if you remember that. Yeah. Yeah, whatever happened with that situation. I know those people had to move out. Um, so you ever know what happened with that?
Yeah, folks have returned back to the property, but it was a whole lot that went with that. And let me pull it back up, so I can remind myself, but I know people did eventually get back into the apartment complex, but I'll pull it up. Okay. And last thing, and I'm going to be controversial, you know, I can't help myself. Alex sure knows a lot about that perverted lifestyle. I don't get it where he comes from.
maybe you should probably keep some of that stuff to yourself out and how I leave it alone. Thanks Michelle. Alright, thank you. I appreciate it. Alright, got another caller. Hey, caller, are you calling about the Fisk tickets? I was just calling about the Fisk ticket. What is that? I wanted to talk about this story on it. Okay, go ahead. Comment on the Fisk. No, that's okay. Go ahead.
He was a general, army general. That's what was named after him. But anyway, at the end of the day, if you look at the old re-existent building here on Burlai, not Burlai, it was contaminated to the top. And they moved all these folks in, had to move these folks out. And reduced the irrigation system and all these things in the size of the building.
so that the people come back and live. It's called a community inside a corridor. Right. And, you know, a lot of our folks don't understand that, okay, we need affordable housing under what cost? Under what cost? You got children, you know, adults could be, you know, it's not bad enough for adults to be, you know, at risk under some of these
conditions, but when you've got children, you know, that's at risk. These things affect their educational thoughts. Their minds don't develop like it's supposed to. And we wonder why our interested children is going through a lot of the things they're going through, like with the lit latter of all these years, they knew what was going on, that this lit was affecting these folks, and they didn't do anything.
Right, you know 50 60 70 years knowing that this is a problem. That's why they ran and All right, bro. What are we gonna do? All right. Thank you. I appreciate the call. All right family. I gotta take a quick break. I'll be right back
All right, family, welcome back. So a couple of quick things. Number one, I did go back to kind of look and make sure I had all the information right. The apartments, the community within the corridor reopened last year in 2025. There was a settlement with some of the tenants who had filed a lawsuit about being displaced. $25,000 was a settlement for each one of those individuals.
QL Amin, one of the co-developers on the project, they talked about all the work, the remediation, the soil that had to be removed, the ventilation systems that had to be installed, to try to address this whole issue. So those folks are back, but that goes back to 2023 if we remember that. All right, I wanted to mention real quickly two things before, if I can before I get out of here.
I am so sick of ICE and I am sick of the disgusting way these people are engaging folks that may be in line for deportation. The situation going on in Austin, Texas with the 28 year old man that was shot in the neck by an ICE police officer. I am so thankful that that woman was recording that whole thing because ICE had already lied.
and said that they tried to pull this man over. He tried to flee that there was a tussle, if you will, and they ended up shooting him. Come to find out the man was in his vehicle. Ice rammed his vehicle twice. They, you know, he pulls over or, you know, he's forced to come to the stop or whatever.
They have one ice officer who gets out of his vehicle, runs to the rear of this man's car and shoots through the passenger rear window in the back, shoots the man in the neck. The man is removed from the vehicle and they show him on the ground, handcuffing him even though he is shot in the neck and he is taken to the hospital. When the man is taken to the hospital, he is seen by the doctors.
The doctors never interact with the man. They never tell him anything about his situation. The bullet is now lodged below the man's spine. So it traveled down his neck to below his spine. They released that man from custody within four hours of him being brought to the hospital with the bullet still located in or below his spine. They take him to a ICE detention facility.
where they take no medication for this man. And then they put him in an area that has no bed. And so this man is either sitting up on concrete blocks or on the floor, but there is no bed. He was finally able to speak to his lawyer and they translated in Spanish. Everything that has transpired with this man and now the left side of his body.
He said he has no movement. They believe this man may have suffered paralysis because you have this untreated situation with this book, but that the doctors didn't have to talk to him and tell him any. They only spoke to the ice officers and you transport somebody with a bullet in their back.
Four hours after you took him to the hospital. This is the most disgusting Administration these are the most cruel and disgusting people I have seen in my lifetime They're disgusting so We will keep our eye on that and what goes on with this man. I won't get a chance to talk about you know the media and Trump and him now coming up with his fake Trump TV but
Kudos to all of the folks that are standing with these people as Trump tries to trample on people's First Amendment rights and To the little Natalie chick who he gave the $40,000 to as a bonus for Christmas That's the person who puts this list in front of him and or compiles video to say look at how people are talking about you so badly
And then he goes because he got the, you know, the skin of a baby. He's so thin skin that he then embarks upon this stupid strike of CNN, Politico and MSNAM and two other magazine outlets. And the other media outlets have said, not on our watch, we're going to stand together. You can't do it.
I'll get into more of these stories tomorrow. Thank you all for tuning in. I appreciate y'all. But family stuff like this happens because we remain silent. We cannot remain silent for folks who want to know about the, um, the, the. No, I wanted to know about the, um, referendums on the ballot. I will cover them again tomorrow. But the short answer for me is, well, no, to all of them.
But I'll explain tomorrow. I'll be right. I mean, I'll be right back. I'll talk to you tomorrow, folks. Peace.
