Could have snuck it in or stuck it in somehow, but I just we let it pass But I wanted to recognize it myself as well because on my timeline on my phone Google, you know when you had these pictures it it brought up the anniversary and you know even like Cassandra Cassandra and Ernie G and these pictures that we took at his memorial service out of Wisconsin Memorial Park and I began to look at that picture and it was like

So many of the folks in the picture are gone as well. Yeah. So that part is what stood out for me when I went back and just thought about it. I was like, because I looked at photos I had from the different services and stuff. And I'm like, man, it's some folks missing. Yeah. All right, a couple of things to get to this morning. I just want to say this, we have a number of young people on their way to school this morning and the significance and the importance of paying attention, asking questions, challenging and pushing back. I remember when I was in school and we would look at, we were doing world history and we would look at the map. And you know,

A lot of older people now know this that the United States was considerably bigger than the continent of Africa on the map. But I remembered when they talked about how many countries were on the continent of Africa. And I'm like, yeah, that seemed weird to me.

Like these must be some small countries. I just kept thinking about landmass and size. So later in life, and in fact, I don't think I really learned it until I was in college, that in actuality, Africa has been misrepresented on maps since they created them. This is intentional. Because of course, you know,

other folks got to make themselves bigger, better, better. And so they try to minimize what this predominantly black country, black and brown country, I'm sorry, black and brown continent look like. So just recently, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a new world map that represents Africa more accurately in its larger size. Now, a lot of African countries, you know,

and advocacy groups led the campaign to get these maps to be correctly reflected because everybody has been talking about this for 20, 30 years now that these maps are incorrect and why do we continue to allow them to be incorrect? You're sending the wrong information and by, you know, osmosis, if you will, in your window, you're trying to

reshape and reframe the significance and the size of this continent in terms of global affairs. So the resolution which was sponsored by Togo and backed by Nessa country and backed by members of the African Union was passed 164 in favor. So that's 164 member states of the UN voted in favor. There were six countries in the UN that voted

to abstain. And there was one country that voted not to correctly accurately based on data and facts to represent the true size of the continent of Africa. Anybody guess which country that was? I see hands up. I see hands up in the back. Anybody anybody can guess who that that was? You get it.

I see your hand. What did you say? The United States of America. The United States of America in all of our racist BS was the only country on the UN committee to vote against Africa being depicted

in its actual size proportionately on the map. The six countries that abstained, Serbia, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Moldova, and Ukraine. They all abstained, but one of the things that they say it is, don't get it twisted. We believe that Africa should be represented accurately on the map, on the world maps.

What we are concerned about is what those maps also do in terms of borderlines for, you know, for our countries. So because it kind of messes with the borderlines and, you know, everybody fighting for their space right now, that was their objection. So they didn't go on the record to say, no, we've opened against it.

Because in theory we understand and we know that this is in fact true We've all heard this now for over 20 30 years that the maps don't correctly reflect the size of the continent of Africa so Because we got some self-interest we need to think about We need to just go ahead and you know abstain But we acknowledge that this is an issue. We're just trying to make sure we're okay

in the way this whole thing is playing out. But the United States, the United States, literally no shame, no embarrassment, willing to go into a meeting and honestly just deny silence.

deny data, deny, I mean, it's like what they do, you know, in the health department, you know, Donald Trump loves to talk about fake facts and all this other, you know, alternative facts and all this nonsense. So I just want young people sitting in classrooms, if you go into a classroom and you see a world map, even though good luck, cause you don't hardly see them in classrooms anymore, unless you went K through eight or K through five, just understand and ask the question,

whether or not that map is correct that you are looking at. Oh, I see a hand back of the room. Yes. Yes. Over here. Do they still have globes in the schools? I think they're there. It depends. I think on the teacher, though. But you saw so much aggressive school. Yeah. Like I said, I think the younger class, please don't go to Greenfield. No, he actually went to school. I know you don't know. I went to our Avenue actually for elementary school. 21st our Avenue Hopkins 12th Street School. We moved a lot back then we were transients. the scholastic fair school fair they would come in and they had a little paper sheet and you could order you like some books and then the books would be delivered to the school and it was all exciting you know um I'm to find out they were stealing the money wasn't it not just kidding well what is interesting to me is so my the scholastic that book fair thing is still around and

I did it last year with my grandson and I just got a text message yesterday from his mom telling me, you know, I didn't have to do it. But if I wanted to that the scholastic book fair, you know, thing was happening at his school. So of course, I'm going to send him some money so he can buy him some books. But the thing is so crazy how technology and everything has evolved. So I get a text message that says Atlas wants to shop the book fair.

Shop Scholastic.com. So I go on and you can select a payment amount that you want to donate so that your child, grandchild, kid you care about can have money in their e-wallet to shop at the book fair. They don't got smile. Oh, honey. So I go and I drop $40 in Atlas's wallet. Okay.

The thing that's so crazy thought it up. That's all I mean because these books is like 19 You know books and some of these books are expensive not all of them a lot of them are affordable But anyway, and then they have the ability to give $10 to what they call Like share the fare so children who may not have anyone that will put money into the e-wallet form that there's a fund that's there

So they can add dollars to that child's account. So that child was able to buy books as well. I was so and I meant to mention this last year. I was so taken aback of how, you know, with the change of technology and all the stuff that happens, but that now, you know, and so I donated his aunt from Florida donated his grandmother can donate like.

any when I tell you this is the grand hustle of hustles and it is impressive and people keeping up with the times and using technology today benefit. So shout out to Scholastic Book Fair. I don't know if they're doing that here in the Milwaukee public schools. I know this is again second time for Atlas and I just encourage people if you do see that and they have that share uh that share button that you consider

You know pulling back a few dollars. All right, family, welcome back. So I want to take a quick second and update you since I'm talking about students in school. There was a story, maybe a year or so ago about a, and I talked about it on the show, about a young 15 year old girl who had gone to the courthouse on a field trip. And they, you know, showing the kids how the court process work and blah, blah, blah.

And she was in the courtroom of a African-American judge. His name was Kenneth or his name is Kenneth King, Judge Kenneth King. And the young lady fell asleep in the courtroom during the field trip. Judge King decided to teach her a lesson about not, you know, taking this whole thing seriously.

He had her put in jail clothes and handcuffed And then threatened her To be put in jail, but he had them take that girl out of the courtroom Put in jail clothes and handcuffed because she fell asleep in his courtroom on a class field trip Her mother later talked about the fact that they were

homeless, and they had been sleeping wherever they could sleep in the car, on the couch, here and there, and that that girl was tired. Because some of the places they were sleeping evidently weren't safe, and the little girl was staying up rather than going to sleep. So they actually demoted the judge, and he had to go through training. So what they're letting the public know is that

effective September 30th, he's going to be back in the courtroom. He had to go through training, but he's going to be working in the traffic division instead of where he had been in terms of major felonies. So they said it is in essence a demotion. He had, you know, to take these classes,

the family training. Yeah, he had to take. Yeah, stuff like that. So I'm not sure if he did an apology to this, this child or what went on with that. Her mom said that she is, you know, trying to sue him for $75,000, citing fear and severe emotional distress in her daughter. But I'm just so outdone. We talked about this story. Yeah. Yeah, I brought it up first happened yet. And but I never stopped being

Blown away that you have a African-American judge You understand what the prison the pipeline I mean, I'm sorry the school the pipeline Looks like for prison you understand how the court systems can disproportionately impact children of color and you thought it was okay to put a 15 year old girl in jail clothes so the the the the loss of dignity and making somebody make you take your clothes off

on a field trip, make you take your clothes off and put on some damn jail clothes and then handcuff you even though you've committed no crime.

Yeah, that's so to me. Yeah, it is the mother wasn't even asking for nowhere near enough She should have been asking for enough money so that they could build some generational wealth So I just wanted to update that because that just appalled me. I don't care what he did I'm not cool with him because that's a mindset and a mentality that thought that what he did was okay I won't get over how he treated that baby. I just I'm sorry. I can't you know, it just it for me Michelle. It's kind of like

You see me in what, in your opinion may be my glory, but you don't know my story. You don't know what I've been through, what I'm going through.

You know, I'm smiling to keep him crying. You just never know what people are going through. It is just unbelievable to me. It is unbelievable, unbelievable. And yep, even with his training, I'm still not good. Most importantly, if these are not appointed positions, then people need to have they need to vote his behind out of office. That's what I don't care. I don't care about you going to training because what you did to that child was inexcusable. And if it had been Atlas or mine, I'll be fighting to the to the death for him to lose everything.

Because what you did was such an abusive power. So I just wanted to update people on that I concur and then there is a story that a lot of folks have kind of been talking about in the barber shops in You know different little social circles, but it just doesn't feel like it's a huge enough story to me in the way that the national media is handling this so you all may have seen that down in Florida there was a operation

that targeted multiple states and even a couple of countries that resulted in 163 children who were being human trafficked, being recovered, rescued. The operation was called Operation Statewide Shield. It was a five-day operation. So this was the thing that got me. In this five-day operation,

from August 17th to August 21st. The police were able to recover 163 children in five days. The children's ages range from two months old to 17 years old. Florida had the biggest concentration

46 were recovered in Tampa, 41 in Miami-Dade, six other states got included, plus Puerto Rico and 12 foreign countries. The children faced abuse, neglect, exploitation, human trafficking, sexual abuse. They have shown three white males faces as being kind of like, I don't know, I guess, I don't know if they're the ring leaders, but they were the ones primarily out of Florida that they're connecting to this whole thing.

But it just There's not there's still not a ton of information to help you fully understand the depth and breadth of what was going on with these children I went to a article that was done a couple of days ago in this media outlet called the latin times This was the first time I had ever read their publication and

you know so I was trying to see like well maybe y'all got more information than what I'm reading but it's just not a lot of information um they they talk about that this was a playbook built on stuff that the feds do and rather than one raid it was coordinated a multi-day push that they had intelligence coming in from different places

Tampa was the point of contact for the whole operation. And they were able to pull in all these different places and find these children. But 163 children. So this is the first thing. Then you know it's got to be more. If you found 163 in a five day operation, it's got to be more. And then I'm like,

How does the two month old baby get caught up in this whole thing? So, again, Orlando, 21 kids were found, 32 kids found in Jacksonville, Fort Myers, 12 kids were found, Pensacola, Tallahassee, they had eight and three respectively, but they're saying that this was the second largest recovery statewide that they had ever seen.

And what I'm still not getting the full breast of is how this whole thing unfolds. Three men who have all been named publicly have been charged with lewd and lascivious counts tied to a minor plus single counts of felony battery aggravated assault.

They are some of them already had warrants for child custody interference cases, child abuse cases, but y'all, this is madness to me. And then I'm trying to think like, well, where are these kids parents at? So there are not enough, there's still not enough information coming out for me about what's actually going on with the situation because these three men.

Who are you giving them to? Where are the rest of the people that had the kids? You know, it's like, did you, are you telling me that the three men all maintain control of 163 children between two months old and 17 years of age in a couple of locations? Because you said this was multi-states, multi-cities. Where the other arrested?

Those three men couldn't be in all those states by themselves. So that means those children were in other places. Where are the other arrests? And I haven't, and I'm sure hopefully they're coming, but I haven't seen, you know, the investigation is still ongoing. Further arrests are expected and anticipated. When you took them kids out of those houses, those places, those storage areas, wherever they were, were there adults there with them?

I just don't understand how only three people have been identified. That's one of the reasons I haven't talked in great deal about this case because I've been waiting for more information. But y'all think about it. How you only got three faces out front when you say 163 children missing the youngest one two months old across multiple states, multiple cities, multiple countries, where the other arrest at? Where's all the people being hauled in?

And then the magic question, what is the race and ethnicity of these children? Are these Hispanic Latino children? Are these African American children? Are these white children? I want to know. I want to know. Because I also think that that plays into how hard people look for folks. But who reported a missing?

Where they parents at? I don't understand this story. The way it's being covered, it sounds like it's more people being protected than these children being helped. None of this makes sense to me. And I'm waiting for the good journalists to come through and say, make this make sense. Help me add this up. When you took the kids out the house, nobody got arrested at the house that they was at?

For being you know in possession of a child that had been illegally kidnapped Where are the other arrests? I'm sorry. So, you know, I had a couple people like Michelle. Are you gonna talk about this? I don't know how to talk about it because it's not enough information and The media to me is not you know, and it may be somebody doing the story and it just hasn't broke yet, but I need people publicly asking

When these stories was being told on the the media outlets, I need the people sitting there going, well, where's the rest of the story at? Because this this can't be it. Don't run these little three white boy faces out here. We all supposed to go away and be satisfied. Where is the rest of the story? So I wanted to make sure that I referenced and mentioned that. I want to cover but I want to just say this Let me see what is the name of it last night while I was working and doing meetings and have all this other stuff going on in the background There was a I think it's like a 26 minute documentary on Netflix

Let me see. I want to just make sure I got the name correctly. So, there is a 28 minute documentary that was released a few days ago on September 4th. It's called InstaDocs, The Decoy Plane.

you do in this 28 minutes, it investigates President Trump's secret plane swap during the NATO trip, the NATO summit. So again, remember, July 26th this year, Trump is taken off covertly Air Force One in Turkey using a catering truck boarded a different US military aircraft. He leaves many members

of the press and some members of his cabinet on this plane that they thought was in danger of potentially being shot down and none of these people on the plane are aware. When they go back and they show the journalists who were left on the plane.

And they show who Trump took with them and the little young girl young woman I should say that's his assistant that it has been a whole bunch of little rumors about like you know Who was this young woman to Donald Trump? She got brought on the plane, but cabinet secretaries are different people got left on the decoy plane Y'all it is it is unnerving The level of indifference that this man

has for other people is disgusting. Best 28. I had to go back when I finally got in bed last night. Just the caption. So intrigued me. I stayed up another 28 minutes to watch this documentary and they got it from every angle. You see him. You see that catering truck. They got the little white thing like John Madden football circling it and like, um,

First story, Carmelo Anthony, young brother who stabs another athlete under a tent. He said he got up under a he was invited under the tent. My young girl and, you know, the guy that got stabbed

pushed Carmelo Anthony first. Carmelo said it was self-defense. So I don't know if any of you all have seen any of this information that is now coming out. You can Google it. It's in a number of sources. Both reliable sources, not just conspiracy type websites. I'm going to just take it directly from the Houston Public Media Group. Carmelo Anthony allegedly was spoiling for a fight the day he fatally stabbed.

Austin Metcalf at Frisco High School Track Meet. And Metcalf had a history of getting into fights and had once sprayed graffiti with vile racist stuff. So they are selling people. Metcalf had his issues. Those were among the assertions made by the lead prosecutor in the case at a hearing Thursday, but none of that came to light during the trial. The defense and prosecution agreed to focus on what happened on that day. The defense

and the prosecution. So I'm like, why would the defense agree to only focus on what happened that day when there was text messages and documented proof that Metcalf, the young white boy who got killed, had definitely said a bunch of racist stuff. It's not working for me. So Anthony's new attorney argued that the motion for a new trial

that he was seeking violated the lack of access to the courtroom and an off-the-record agreement between the attorneys on both sides of the case. The off-the-record agreement coerced Anthony to waive his right to testify. Remember we was asking the question

Why wouldn't this young man testify on his own behalf? Because nobody else is coming to your defense in your aid. Why aren't they letting him tell his story? It was agreed upon in this agreement. I mean, it was decided in this agreement between the two attorneys.

that Carmelo Anthony would waive his right to testify and denied him a complete defense. That's what his second lawyer has said. He said, quote, I don't know that I've seen a murder case with this much off the record stuff going on in the background. So of course, Carmelo Anthony, 35 years in prison, killing the 17 year old Metcalfe young man and Anthony, I mean, Carmelo's also 17 at the time, but

Um, this is the thing that ended up being interesting because I kept trying to figure out why would the defense agree not for it to be introduced that this white boy was also racist nonsense. In this further information that's become available, it says that Carmelo Anthony's girlfriend told an assistant principal at their high school she was scared of him.

and that he wouldn't take no for an answer. That was less than two hours before he fatally stabbed the student Metcalf. Text messages on Anthony's phone also revealed a documented pattern of an obsession with guns, knives, and fighting. Metcalf also had a history of getting into fights,

and had sprayed graffiti with vile racist stuff. So you got the white boy to put out, you know, racist crap on walls and around different places in the community. So he had did it. So his daddy up here trying to paint him out to be some choir boy who just innocently getting know your son was straight up racist. Probably got it from his daddy because some of the stuff that you said definitely let people know he learned it at home. But.

Carmelo, Anthony's folks needed to keep out of the record that Carmelo could be shown with videos of him holding firearms. So. The degree, the graffiti that Metcalf, the white student had painted included KKK. He has spray painted that on something. He had also spray painted kill all black people.

He has spray painted the word nigga. He had spray painted high old Hitler and an upside down cross So this little choir boy that all these white folks in the trial. Oh my god. He was a victim. He was enticed. He was a stop-down racist but Carmelo Anthony um They said that he has said

some interesting stuff about Black folks, Black women in particular, Black girls in particular. And so in the story that I read on another outlet, it said, and see, because you could tell what stories was, was how people were trying to frame this. So they said,

hours before Carmelo Anthony Phaley stabbed Austin Metcalf. Remember I said that his girlfriend said that he wouldn't take no for an answer. His girlfriend reported to school staff that he allegedly had been stalking her and texted her that he was on the verge according to a 75 page court document.

His girlfriend, who she must have been Hispanic Latino, Valeria Torres Perez, told a staff member that Anthony had been driving by her home and refusing to let her in their relationship. At 1259 AM, text messages attributed to Carmelo Anthony show him writing, quote, I'm low-key on the verge. The message does not specify what he meant. He repeated and emphasized it 35 minutes later. I'm looking at the picture, y'all, of Carmelo Anthony.

in November 13th, holding up a gun. Okay? Uh, the document outlines dozens of alleged prior acts that prosecutors start to introduce. Um, but they, you know, agreed to this, this whole thing. Cause they, if, if I got to tell Carmelo stuff, then I got to tell this white boy stuff, um, that got killed Metcalf. So both of them was raggedy from what I'm, I'm picking up now. Um,

Carmelo Anthony had another exchange with this little girl that was his girlfriend and says quote when I get mad I see red when I get mad I black out when I get mad I can't control myself when I get mad my eyes change color That's what he got in text messages. I'm looking at copies of the text message messages while I'm speaking to you all This is screenshots from 2023 so

In the same exchange Carmelo Anthony allegedly said he assaulted another person after the individual posted about Smoking Carmelo's cousin He posted that he was at we posted where he was at and we pulled up and got him. That's what Carmelo Anthony posted on his own page This may 24 May 5th, 2024

He allegedly showed a photo of him holding this firearm while he was posing with the group. May 17th, Carmelo Anthony told Perez he was going to shoot a woman, writing, quote, I'm shooting her. On June 10th, 2024, he allegedly threatened to shoot this girlfriend by asking, quote, how many bullets you want coming at your chest? They got pictures of all of the messages, y'all.

Six days later, he allegedly threatened to assault her again, writing, I'm a beat your blank. The threats continued until the fall of 2024. During September, Anthony allegedly made threats involving the gun, writing quote, gun to the head and saying he would cut another person's brakes. By November, he had allegedly written about shooting something up and referred to gloves, a rope and getting his hands on a switch. I could go on y'all.

I could go on, I could go on, I could go on. Let me be clear. And this is also interesting too. Because in Carmelo Anthony's prison picture, he's ball-headed. They cut his hair off. They cut his locks off. And that's just so crazy to me. But yeah, they cut his hair off. He ball-headed now. Oh, really?

Oh, the mic's not by your mouth. Some people don't know what you said. But Jermaine said they give you the option when you first go in. If you can't maintain it, then you got to cut it. I mean, it wasn't... Anyway, that's me. So it's just a whole bunch here that's going on. And this is one of those things when I talk about... People like... You ain't gonna talk about it? You ain't gonna talk about it? And I tell people all the time, I'm waiting on more information.

I want to see how some of this plays out because while I can bring it up, I'm not going to be able to say they had to order justice for Carmelo. They had to order this happened because we just don't know all these details. Now, let me be clear. Having pictures of you with guns is not illegal. Well, it really is because he was a minor and you shouldn't have these guns. Well, depending on where you are to in the state you live in.

Because it was constant you could be six years old and you know have a hunting rifle Because the great Republicans in this state thought that yes Let's start training our kids out of hunt with guns at six years old. So anyway, it depends on where you are but It seems like there is documentation

That this young brother had a hair trigger the one thing and I was looking for that I didn't find but I read Because I've read like seven eight stories now about this evidence that didn't get introduced in the court Was that he evidently had a disdain for black girls He talked about how he couldn't stand a black ASS he talked about how he couldn't stand a lace front weaves and all they damn weeks and

But however, the what that sounds like to me and seems to me, you know, the way you young and you trying to fit in and you trying to be hip and and you know, you want to do what everybody else is doing, you know, with the taking. Now, one thing for me that I never understood is why would you take a picture with money, guns, whatever and put it on the Internet and put it out on social media because.

Yeah, it's there forever So even if he did that four or five years ago Not knowing that Four or five years down the line he was gonna be in a situation that he ended up killing somebody now those pictures or whatever you've done It's now coming up and it's painting this picture of you being a villain. It's painting Remember none of this was used in court now

But this is all after the fact. Nobody, none of the jurors ever heard any of this information that I've read today. None. That was none of it was ever introduced. None of that was the deal. That's why I'm saying, remember, we sat here saying, why didn't this young brother testify on his own behalf? And that's why he couldn't testify to God up there. They would have ripped him. They would have introduced this stuff. Yeah. And the prosecution was okay with him not testifying because then they would have had to introduce the stuff.

on a victim who was racist. And so both of the victim and the defendant were both flawed. And so, you know, so they both made it, because we couldn't, remember, we could not figure out why he didn't testify and what kind of lawyer wouldn't let him testify.

It had came out that it was in the ninth. It was one of the tools for the track shoes. Yeah. And he was asking why he didn't get up and say that he didn't bring it. Yeah. But you can't you can't now it makes sense. Because now you got all of this. You got skeletons in your closet. All this mess and it's documented. And you got you did it yourself. You got the little girl there standing and saying I was fair. I was scared for my life. And I was and reported that she was scared a couple of hours before he ends up stabbing his boy.

So I wonder if I wonder if it was a combination of things that was happening on that particular day He was into it with the girl Whatever the case is because if she was trying to break up he wouldn't leave alone So you feeling some kind of way and then on top of that you got this white Boy, that's trying to that's racist. for $7,500 on a payment plan. The reason he won't let anyone open the old ice cream joint on North Avenue is because he's trying to be a silent partner or get a major kickback from whoever is approved. That's why it's been vacant for all these years. I have so much more, but I'll be sharing that information with some other people. You going down boss. I'm going to say it again.

whatever this ignorance is is going on right now. But you need to get to this and figure out how to stop this. There's no way not to mention it because everybody is sharing it. While it is illegal, ICE will likely be targeted, will likely be targeting polling sites, increasing fear and even keeping people away from voting. We don't necessarily know that to be true, but there are concerns about it. God's word commands us to care for the vulnerable, Matthew 25. So we're asking faith and civic leaders to join us as faiths united to save democracy.

So in 2026 this year, he picked up his pen and he began creating songs that reflect real life, social issues, faith, history, family, justice, and the everyday struggles and triumphs of people that are often overlooked. The name baby's baby, because when I first heard it, I was like, is that like a eye? Because you know, there's so much stuff you see out there today. You don't know if it's people really singing or what's going on.

And I'm not sure if he, like, you know, just took the lyrics and then had AI turn it into a song or whatever. But that name baby's baby. And I thought about D.I. Sanders. I was literally thinking about this yesterday. D.I. Sanders, well, Shadoor has been going through all this stuff with this lawsuit. He was quoted as saying, you know, my baby's going through right now. And so it was so endearing to me to hear a black man refer to his son like that.

My babies going through it right now. I often talk about Somebody that a lot of people know in the community mark Wade And there was something that I noticed that mark Wade did that I picked up Later in life as a parent while my child was good and grown when mark Wade talks to his son He always says son. He always there's always that that endearing that ownership. That's my baby and It always resonated with me. in terms of acknowledging that relationship and that bond. And so this guy Troy, his late father's nickname was baby. And he's his late father's youngest son. So people used to call him baby's baby. and people showing that level of affection. So whether this is something that's being used through a AI tool, but it's a project he has talked about. All right, a couple of things to get to this morning.

I just want to say this, we have a number of young people on their way to school this morning and the significance and the importance of paying attention, asking questions, challenging and pushing back.

I remember when I was in school and we would look at, we were doing world history and we would look at the map.

And you know,

A lot of older people now know this that the United States was considerably bigger than the continent of Africa on the map.

But I remembered when they talked about how many countries were on the continent of Africa.

And I'm like, yeah, that seemed weird to me.

Like these must be some small countries.

I just kept thinking about landmass and size.

So later in life, and in fact, I don't think I really learned it until I was in college, that in actuality, Africa has been misrepresented on maps since they created them.

This is intentional.

Because of course, you know,

other folks got to make themselves bigger, better, better.

And so they try to minimize what this predominantly black country, black and brown country, I'm sorry, black and brown continent look like.

So just recently, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a new world map that represents Africa more accurately in its larger size.

Now, a lot of African countries, you know,

and advocacy groups led the campaign to get these maps to be correctly reflected because everybody has been talking about this for 20, 30 years now that these maps are incorrect and why do we continue to allow them to be incorrect?

You're sending the wrong information and by, you know, osmosis, if you will, in your window, you're trying to

reshape and reframe the significance and the size of this continent in terms of global affairs.

So the resolution which was sponsored by Togo and backed by Nessa country and backed by members of the African Union was passed 164 in favor.

So that's 164 member states of the UN voted in favor.

There were six countries in the UN that voted

to abstain.

And there was one country that voted not to correctly accurately based on data and facts to represent the true size of the continent of Africa.

Anybody guess which country that was?

The

United States of America.

The United States of America in all of our racist BS was the only country on the UN committee to vote against Africa being depicted

in its actual size proportionately on the map.

The six countries that abstained, Serbia, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Moldova, and Ukraine.

They all abstained, but one of the things that they say it is, don't get it twisted.

We believe that Africa should be represented accurately on the map, on the world maps.

What we are concerned about is what those maps also do in terms of border lines for, you know, for our countries.

So because it kind of messes with the border lines and, you know, everybody fighting for their space right now, that was their objection.

So they didn't go on the record to say, no, we've opened against it.

because in theory we understand and we know that this is in fact true.

We've all heard this now for over 20, 30 years that the maps don't correctly reflect the size of the continent of Africa.

So because we got some self-interest we need to think about, we need to just go ahead and, you know, abstain.

But we acknowledge that this is an issue.

We're just trying to make sure we're okay.

in the way this whole thing is playing out.

But the United States, the United States, literally no shame, no embarrassment, willing to go into a meeting and honestly just deny silence.

deny data, deny, I mean, it's like what they do, you know, in the health department, you know, Donald Trump loves to talk about fake facts and all this other, you know, alternative facts and all this nonsense.

So I just want young people sitting in classrooms, if you go into a classroom and you see a world map, even though good luck, cause you don't hardly see them in classrooms anymore, unless you went K through eight or K through five, just understand and ask the question,

whether or not that map is correct that you are looking at.

So of course, I'm going to send him some money so he can buy him some books.

But the thing is so crazy how technology and everything has evolved.

So I get a text message that says Atlas wants to shop the book fair.

So I go on and you can select a payment amount that you want to donate so that your child, grandchild, kid you care about can have money in their e-wallet to shop at the book fair.

I was so and I meant to mention this last year.

I was so taken aback of how, you know, with the change of technology and all the stuff that happens, but that now, you know, and so I donated his aunt from Florida donated.

any when I tell you this is the grand hustle of hustles and it is impressive and people keeping up with the times and using technology today benefit.

So I want to take a quick second and update you since I'm talking about students in school.

There was a story, maybe a year or so ago about a, and I talked about it on the show, about a young 15 year old girl who had gone to the courthouse on a field trip.

And they, you know, showing the kids how the court process work and blah, blah, blah.

And she was in the courtroom of a African-American judge.

His name was Kenneth or his name is Kenneth King, Judge Kenneth King.

And the young lady fell asleep in the courtroom during the field trip.

Judge King decided to teach her a lesson about not, you know, taking this whole thing seriously.

He had her put in jail clothes and handcuffed And then threatened her To be put in jail, but he had them take that girl out of the courtroom put in jail clothes and handcuffed because she fell asleep in his courtroom on a class field trip Her mother later talked about the fact that they were

homeless and they had been sleeping wherever they could sleep in the car on the couch here near and that that girl was tired.

Because some of the places they were sleeping evidently was safe and the little girl was staying up rather than going to sleep.

So they actually demoted the judge and he had to go through training.

So what they're letting the public know is that

effective September 30th, he's going to be back in the courtroom.

He had to go through training, but he's going to be working in the traffic division instead of where he had been in terms of major felonies.

So they said it is in essence a demotion.

He had, you know, to take these classes,

Yeah, he had to take.

Yeah, stuff like that.

So I'm not sure if he did an apology to this this child or what went on with that.

Her mom said that she is, you know, trying to sue him for $75,000, citing fear and severe emotional distress in her daughter.

But I'm just so outdone.

And but I never stopped being

Blown away that you have a African-American judge You understand what the prison the pipeline I mean, I'm sorry the school the pipeline Looks like for prison you understand how the court systems can disproportionately impact children of color and you thought it was okay to put a 15 year old girl in jail clothes so the the the the loss of dignity and making somebody make you take your clothes off

on a field trip, make you take your clothes off and put on some damn jail clothes and then handcuff you even though you've committed no crime.

Yeah, that's

so to me.

Yeah, it is the mother wasn't even asking for nowhere near enough She should have been asking for enough money so that they could build some generational wealth So I just wanted to update that because that just appalled me.

I don't care what he did I'm not cool with him because that's a mindset and a mentality that thought that what he did was okay I won't get over how he treated that baby.

I just I'm sorry.

and then there is a story that a lot of folks have kind of been talking about in the barber shops in You know different little social circles, but it just doesn't feel like it's a huge enough story to me in the way that the national media is handling this so you all may have seen that down in Florida there was a operation

that targeted multiple states and even a couple of countries that resulted in 163 children who were being human trafficked, being recovered, rescued.

The operation was called Operation Statewide Shield.

It was a five-day operation.

So this was the thing that got me.

In this five-day operation,

from August 17th to August 21st.

The police were able to recover 163 children in five days.

The children's ages range from two months old to 17 years old.

Florida had the biggest concentration

46 were recovered in Tampa, 41 in Miami-Dade, six other states got included, plus Puerto Rico and 12 foreign countries.

The children faced abuse, neglect, exploitation, human trafficking, sexual abuse.

They have shown three white males faces as being kind of like, I don't know, I guess, I don't know if they're the ring leaders, but they were the ones primarily out of Florida that they're connecting to this whole thing.

But it just There's not there's still not a ton of information to help you fully understand the depth and breadth of what was going on with these children I went to a article that was done a couple of days ago in this media outlet called the latin times This was the first time I had ever read their publication and

you know so I was trying to see like well maybe y'all got more information than what I'm reading but it's just not a lot of information um they they talk about that this was a playbook built on stuff that the feds do and rather than one raid it was coordinated a multi-day push that they had intelligence coming in from different places

Tampa was the point of contact for the whole operation.

And they were able to pull in all these different places and find these children.

But 163 children.

So this is the first thing.

Then you know it's got to be more.

If you found 163 in a five day operation, it's got to be more.

And then I'm like,

How does the two month old baby get caught up in this whole thing?

So, again, Orlando, 21 kids were found, 32 kids found in Jacksonville, Fort Myers, 12 kids were found, Pensacola, Tallahassee, they had eight and three respectively, but they're saying that this was the second largest recovery statewide that they had ever seen.

And what I'm still not getting the full breast of is how this whole thing unfolds.

Three men who have all been named publicly have been charged with lewd and lascivious counts tied to a minor plus single counts of felony battery aggravated assault.

They are some of them already had warrants for child custody interference cases, child abuse cases, but y'all, this is madness to me.

And then I'm trying to think like, well, where are these kids parents at?

So there are not enough, there's still not enough information coming out for me about what's actually going on with the situation because these three men.

Who are you giving them to?

Where are the rest of the people that had the kids?

You know, it's like, did you, are you telling me that the three men all maintain control of 163 children between two months old and 17 years of age in a couple of locations?

Because you said this was multi-states, multi-cities.

Where the other arrested?

Those three men couldn't be in all those states by themselves.

So that means those children were in other places.

Where are the other arrests?

And I haven't, and I'm sure hopefully they're coming, but I haven't seen, you know, the investigation is still ongoing.

Further arrests are expected and anticipated.

When you took them kids out of those houses, those places, those storage areas, wherever they were, were there adults there with them?

I just don't understand how only three people have been identified.

That's one of the reasons I haven't talked in great deal about this case because I've been waiting for more information.

But y'all think about it.

How you only got three faces out front when you say 163 children missing the youngest one two months old across multiple states, multiple cities, multiple countries, where the other arrest at?

Where's all the people being hauled in?

And then the magic question, what is the race and ethnicity of these children?

Are these Hispanic Latino children?

Are these African American children?

Are these white children?

I want to know.

I want to know.

Because I also think that that plays into how hard people look for folks.

But who reported a missing?

Where they parents at?

I don't understand this story.

The way it's being covered, it sounds like it's more people being protected than these children being helped.

None of this makes sense to me.

And I'm waiting for the good journalists to come through and say, make this make sense.

Help me add this up.

When you took the kids out the house, nobody got arrested at the house that they was at?

For being you know in possession of a child that had been illegally kidnapped Where are the other arrests?

When these stories was being told on the the media outlets, I need the people sitting there going, well, where's the rest of the story at?
