  • Human Services provides Mental Health Outpatient Services to individuals residing in Wood County. If you feel you need help with mental health problems, contact the Outpatient Clinic receptionist to set up an appointment; Wisconsin Rapids, call 715-421-8840; Marshfield, call 715-387-4529.
  • Call or text to 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Visit samhsa.gov for resources related to mental health and substance use. 
  • NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness):
    Visit NAMI's website for information about mental health conditions, support groups, and advocacy. NAMI also has a helpline that can be contacted for support and resources. www.nami.org
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs):
    If you have a job, your employer's HR department may offer an EAP that provides free and confidential support. 
  • University/College Health Centers:
    If you're a student, your school's health center may offer mental health services.
