For the first time diesel prices have hit $8 a gallon in California.

President Trump on a weekend trip to Ireland says he thinks fuel prices will drop right after the November midterm elections and that the Iran War will end after the midterms offering no explanation.

soon I think it'll be probably right after midterms and trying to hold out as long as they can.
Acting US Navy Secretary confirms Iranian missiles
hit US aircraft in Jordan and Bahrain this week.
More short-range missiles were fired into the sea today by North Korea, say South Korea and Japan.

Fessing up, the contractor and the reflecting pool snafu, ABC's Mary Bruce.
President Trump spent $15 million on these renovations, but soon after it was completed, the paint on the bottom of the pool started lifting to the surface.
The president blamed vandals, but the New York Times reports the contractor on the project now acknowledges the damage was caused by mistakes they made themselves, that their plan was flawed, and so was its execution.

But in this case, it's the planet Mercury in our solar system.
Scientists from the German Aerospace Center say Mercury's shrinkage may be 30% greater than previously believed.
They say that represents a loss in diameter of as much as 14 miles significant for a planet that is barely 3,000 miles across.
Mercury has been shrinking for a long time because of internal cooling.

He was also in Richland Center with a new colony six back in 1996 and 1997.
So we'll recall that time and some really cool stories from behind the scenes.
My big radio debut was in 1986 and tonight I will recall some of the top 40 hits that I played during my first times on the air as a big rock and roll DJ.
The first time I ever introduced a song in the air, the record was on the wrong speed.
It was supposed to be Tommy James' record, Moni Moni, that I intended to play.
Furthermore, I accidentally played the B side, Wrong Speed, Wrong Song.
There was nowhere to go but up in my radio career.
We'll also focus on some 1977 albums, a great year for the long play records that I bought at Saffol's Music Store in Richland Center.
Also today and tonight, I'll be celebrating my wedding anniversary and honoring the lady that has let me be absent from many family functions over the course of 40 years.

Our featured high school football broadcast from last night was Ithaca West in hosting Bangor.
Phil Lee had the
play-by-play.
Ithaca Western won a key Scenic Bluffs conference football game 12-8 over Bangor on Friday night.
Both teams kept the ball on the ground for the majority of plays and that kept the clock running.
The game lasted less than two hours and that included an 18-minute halftime.
The visiting Cardinals scored on their second possession.
They took advantage of an IW fumble that was recovered by Elijah Kopp who later capped off a drive with a three yard touchdown and a two-point conversion run.
Ithaca Weston would also score in the second quarter.
Jacob Keller scored on a quarterback keeper.
The two-pointer failed and it was 8-6 and that was the score at halftime.
Ithaca Weston ate up a great deal of the third quarter clock.
Before they would find the end zone with 4-23 left in the third.
Spencer Nelson scored from three yards out.
The two-pointer was unsuccessful and the score was 12-8.
IW's defense stood tall late in the game.
Spencer Nelson led a key sack of the quarterback and later Landon Walmer recovered a fumble.
Both teams only had three possessions in that second stanza.
The Cardinals were stopped short the last time they had the ball, and they turned it over on downs at their own 35.
Ithaca Weston was able to take the clock all the way to the end with a key first down.
