The attorney for a Johns Hopkins University researcher says she has now been released after she was detained by ICE agents at Baltimore Washington International Airport earlier this week.

ICE agents arrested Fatima Amieka, a Cameroonian national, saying she overstayed a visa.

Documents obtained by ABC News say she had a work authorization.

Well, the next thing he does

is he writes a blog!

Growing up in the 1970s and 1980s, it was a great time to come of age.

My memories are in living color of going to dog insults for a Coney dog, a truck to Dairy Queen for a buster bar or traveling to Ithaca Wednesday night for a slow pitch softball night.

That along with 48 softball provided farm kids with a social life.

In the fall, I would be a big strapping eighth grader on coach Paul Murphy's football team.

There was controversy that fall when a seventh grader's helmet got filled with mud and leaves.

Two ruffians did this while I contributed by saying, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it.

When my good friend, Mr. Gary Goodkinick saw the shenanigans, he immediately punished the two perpetrators and me.

We had to do army boot camp like conditioning for two weeks after practice.

That just about did me in while we were running down highway 58.

Mr. G was driving his 1972 Brown Impala, listening to WLS Radio.

Some of the songs that inspired me while I was huffing and puffing were Life in the Fast Lane by The Eagles, Smoke from a Distant Fire, Sanford Townsend Band, Jet Airliner, Steve Miller Band, The Do Run Run, Sean Cassidy, June's favorite, Telephone Line, ELO, Cold as Ice, Foreigner, Don't Stop, Fleetwood Mac, Undercover Angel by Alan O'Day.

Those were songs that I also had running through my head while I was crab crawling and bear crawling across the football field and fireman's carrying another person across the football field.
