It was a great way to beat the heat because there was no air conditioning in the farmhouse or barn and certainly not the haymow.

The urban legend is that someone saw a carp in the water near Twin Bluffs wearing a pair of plaid
shorts.
In the summer of 1969 I was my dad's right-hand man or I was right there in a nuisance as we rode along along the farm fields clinging to a thin fender on a farm all tractor while work was being done.
We would take rides to the feed mill or to the stores in Ithaca, Sextonville or Twin Bluffs the entire time I would stand on the bench seat of the truck seat belts huh and
play the AM radio.
A few musical memories that I have from that summer include Hawaii 5-0 by the Ventures, Get Back the Beatles, Bad Moon Rising, Credence Clearwater Revival, one from Three Dog Night, these eyes from the guess who in a querious let the sun shine in the fifth dimension.
Though I was just a wee knee in the summer of 1969, I vividly remember the folks and neighbors watching the moon landing.
Little Philip went out to the screen porch that Sunday night and looked up toward the moon to see if he could see the astronauts up there.
Tonight I'll be spinning a few of those hits from that summer of long ago and all of the vinyl from the 50s through the mid 90s.

The first thing for sale is the red cedar picnic cable.
The top measure is 54 by 32 probably fits about four adults on it.
The other thing is a 17-foot aluminum canoe camel painted.
I've got other things that go with that like a canoe trailer, a transom and a three-horse motor and a bridge pole.
but we can break that stuff up if we need to where you only want one thing or the other.
And I'm looking for someone to remove two small structures.
I have a six by six wood shed that may still be usable, or someone who likes to reclaim wood and make stuff out of it could use it for that.
And the other one is approximately a five by four
two-story truck structure, which the lumber might be reusable, but the siding is plywood.
