This week we will travel to 1967.
Those two years are owned in my favorites for music with 67 be my all time favorite.
Haha kids, even though I was just a wee knee and it was not the music I grew up with,
I have always found that era as the most creative with incredible melodies and a variety
of styles.
As I have mentioned on this blog many times, the radio was always on around the farm.
The barn radio is our connection to the outside world.
We jumped into the old farm truck that radio is on and the kitchen radio on top of the
Norge dryer was on in the background of everyday life.
The farm was coming to life in the spring and dad started the big tractor, which was
a farm all M approximately 44 horsepower on a good day to plant the oats.
People Phil was preparing his play farm on a piece of sandy land with my imaginary friend
Farmer Jolly who planted a row of corn and oats.
Of course I helped him and then you know, so long about the fall, usually price Holstein
Lady Bell would slip through the gate and eat the crop or petunia the pig would slip
under the wire and go rooting and tooting.
Those were tough times for Farmer Jolly and he didn't have crop insurance either.
My mom was doing her best to raise an upstanding son to either be a priest or a doctor while
she swung and missed there.
My cousins from Madison would often come and stay.
One of my cousins that needed to borrow some of my socks once and mother told me to loan
him some for my drawer for some reason.
I had monogram socks with the first letter of my name on them, but mother I exclaimed
they have pee on them, expecting the worst she angrily said, how do they get pee on them?
My name starts with pee exclaimed little Philip innocently.

The Big Ten has four teams in the NCAA Tournament's regional finals. That's made the league the
top performer in March Madness. That comes a year after the southeastern conference grabbed the
spotlight with tournament records of 14 bids and seven teams in the Sweet 16. The Big Ten set
its own record with six teams in the Sweet 16. Now there's an all Big Ten regional final between
Illinois and Iowa. Michigan takes on Tennessee, Purdue will face off against Arizona,
the winners will go to Indianapolis for the final four. Finals from the NCAA men's Tournament,
number one Duke held off St. John's 80-75. Michigan picked up the 90-77 win over Alabama.

So the Brewers will continue their series with the Chicago White Sox today. They'll close that
