River Valley and Broadhead met in a non-conference boys basketball game last night at Springgreen and Phil Lee was there.
River Valley won a non-conference boys basketball game 54-29 over visiting Broadhead Friday night.
The Black Hawks led the entire contest and were up 30-16 at halftime.
The lead grew to 20 points in the second half before the Cardinals got within 12.
A turning point of the game was a three point basket by Quincy Blakely,
which put River Valley up by 15 and Broadhead would get no closer the rest of the way.
The Black Hawks are now five and three overall with the win.
Senior Lucas Klein led all game scores with 17, including three three pointers.
Kagan Heiser at at 11.
Bryce Ferguson scored eight.
Sumner Knockriner six.
Quincy Blakely had five.
Kaden Plumley four points.
And Trevor Henkel added three.
River Valley was three for nine from the line.

Clayton Tune will get to start at quarterback for Green Bay
in its regular season finale Sunday at Minnesota.
The Packers intend to rest Jordan Love as he prepares for the playoffs.
Packers coach Matlow Flores said Thursday that Love was cleared
in the concussion protocol, but is not expected to play against the eight and eight Vikings.
Green Bay at nine six and one already is locked into the NFC's number seven playoff seed.
Love hasn't played since taking a helmet to helmet hit in the second quarter of a 22-16 overtime loss
at Chicago on December 20th.
The Minnesota Vikings will have JJ McCarthy back at quarterback for that match up against the Packers
when they host division rival Green Bay with no impact on the postseason.
The Packers have that final wild card spot in the NFC secured
