It's time right now to take a look at sports stories from around the area, around the nation
and around the world. This is Primover Sports. Casanovia hosted plane in a Friday night home
talent league baseball game. With more, here's WRCO's Phil Ney.
I guess Reds had to walk off win against the plane Ace Friday night final of two to one
in home talent baseball night league action. Casanovia scored the first run of the game
in the fourth inning. They would do it after Colton Greenwood's single Nathan Bauer's single
in, Hunter Schmidt's single, the bases were loaded, and Monte Jennings launched a sacrifice fly
getting the run home. The one-nothing store stood until the seventh inning. That's when plane
tied the ball game up, Galen Dan Horn led off hit by a pitch. She moved a second on a single by
Quincy Blakely and eventually got to third base where he would score on a sacrifice fly by
Caden Humley. The score was tied at one going into the bottom of the seventh,
or Casanovia Monte Jennings led off with a double down the right field line.
He went to third base on a fly ball by Aaron Hipsch and scored on a ground out by
Micah Salisbury to take the lead in the win for the Cas Reds. I think Jennings is two for two
for Casanovia, Colton Greenwood, Nathan Bauer, Monte Jennings, and Aaron Hipsch all had Hipsch
for the Reds. For Plane, one for two for Tray White, Hayden Plumley had his teams only RBI,
and Quincy Blakely was two for two for Plane, which now on the night league,
they have fallen to one and two. They'll get back to Sunday league action with a home game
against Ashton on Sunday at the Plane ballpark. We'll have it on WIC already,
free game time at 12.45. For Casanovia, they improve to two and one in the night league action.
They'll be taking on Coss Plane's coming up Saturday afternoon at one o'clock. Pitching wise
on the night for Plane, Quincy Blakely started followed by Lane Miller who worked the fourth inning.
It was also a chance to get the quite a few young arms in the game. Clyde Samples worked
the next inning, and Daniel Yankee worked the sixth and seventh for Plane. He suffers the loss.

The 76th annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association baseball state tournament
will take place Monday through Thursday, June 10-13 at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox City
Stadium in Grand Shoot, Wisconsin. Ticket prices for the tournament are $11 per session
and $20 for an all-day ticket plus online fees and $11 for each championship game Thursday.
