pizza box Mike, I got news guy Nate here, we were both missing an action, because we're
both really smart, don't you think Nate? I mean, you were driving from Bel, I'm driving
from Stoughton, and I'm like, yeah, I don't think so, I couldn't have gotten in if I tried,
I was snowed in, I had a four foot wall of snow blocking off my intersection there, I
was stuck no matter what, yeah, well I expected it, I mean, let's start, let's start this
where it should start, it's winter, okay, and it's January, and I got to tell you, we've
had quite a few mild winners in the last 20 years, but before that, I mean, it was pretty
much standard, you know, you're going to get one of these storms every year, maybe, you
know, it's some of the severity that, well, more snow one year, colder than next, something
like that, but to listen to all these people, and I understand, okay, first of all, here's
what I did, and here's what everybody should be getting ready for, and that is climate
change and fascism, and how to adapt, and what you need to do to survive it. So we knew
this storm was coming, right? I mean, it's not like, it was a big storm, and it affected
a lot of people in some areas, it was ice, and some areas, it was heavy snow, and wind,
and it just, we knew it was coming, we had what, six inches one day, a couple more another
day, I was not really happy that we were going to get another foot, but that's what happened,
right? So before it happened, I'm like, okay, these are the kind of storms where power could
go out. I don't have any family, really, I've got a few friends, but I mean, the other
power goes out to what are you going to do, right? What's your backup plan? The first thing
I did was I made sure I had an oil change, okay, and then I filled up my car, and I put
it in gas line amperees, because it is going to get that cold, 12 below, and I risk it,
right? And, okay, so there's one thing I've taken care of. Now, if my power goes out,
I've got a full tank of gas, I've got a way to get warm to think about what the hell to
do next, if something else should happen. I've already got enough food, I took care of
all that, I got the cat supplies, right? I got bird feed for everybody, the rabbits, the
squirrels, everybody's going to be okay in the storm, because I'm not going anywhere.
It's already made up my mind. This is not something that I need to mess with. Now, I'm going
to say that the streets here in Madison were bad, right? I stayed home Saturday as well.
You know, it didn't take long, like you on Saturday morning, I looked out and I'm going,
oh, okay, this is, this is not going to be a work day. I got a dig out the end of the driveway,
because, you know, the park's been dry, where they've been plowing, and I've been talking to them,
you know, and I'm like, well, yeah, you know, I don't think I'm planning on going anywhere,
so feel free to keep doing what you're doing. I'm not mad at you guys. And then I spent the
Saturday, where they got called, right? Now, during the week, as it was snowing, I'm not an idiot,
I'm going to go out and clear off my car every time that it snows, because I don't want it to
breeze on there and turn into ice, which is what's going to happen if you leave it.
So I did that Saturday. Get it all back to car out. Now, I'm going to go for a drive.
There's not many people on the road. The roads have been cleared for a bit. Highway 51 was no problem,
but when I got here Saturday or Sunday, and I'm driving on East Wash and I'm like,
too nice ice rink. Okay. And then, and that's going to be that way all the way up and down,
and I got it. Okay. But I laughed early. People don't do that. I got to get back to work. You know,
I got to be to work on time. You're going to need an extra half hour if you want to get there on time,
safely. And please do, you know, plan next time people. But to hear everybody complaining and
yelling at the mayor and everything like she should have been out there, shoveled a blower.
There were too many people that didn't have to be on the roads driving that did. And this
happens all the time. It's Friday night. We're not going to stop you clowns from going out in your,
yeah, and you get in your SUVs and you're, you know, hence my, there's an a whole and every
tie-hole sign. And I prepared for the cold for the following days after Sunday. And I'm glad I
did, man. I said, you know, I'm not going to, I'm not going to even stress this out. Man, this is
cool. All these birds are coming and being now I've got everything showing up. I've been there
long enough. I've been, you know, going out and cleaning that beater off. So there's access to it
because it's no kept trying to mess with that. What are we going to do people? If they're,
especially no home, by the way, the studio line here, eight, four, four, nine, six, seven, two,
seven, eight, nine, feel free to call in. Tell me how you got ready. Because after I did all that,
and I knew I was going to be inside for a couple days, it's locked the doors, dropped the shades.
Me and the cats were watching post apocalyptic films, zombies,
combinations, you know, aliens that are, and I can tell you one thing, Nate, I am ready for 2024,
right? No matter what happens, I got myself ready that way. What are we? What are people going to
do when if there's an attack on the energy grid, right? And it's during this, I mean, 60 people died
so far in the storm. I'm thinking many probably from accidents when they shouldn't have been all
driving. You see that one where the guy tried to pass us, am I right? Head on into a plow.
Nobody injured. Amazing. Nice car though, right, buddy? You run into a plow.
So I think they probably told that the minute you started to pass that hand or that semi. But
that's what you have to deal with too is all these people driving like idiots before it snows and
guess what? They still do after it snows. So I don't want to have a whole lot of empathy for the
people that are running and complaining and stuff. I mean, sure, it's, it's an inconvenience.
But I live in a town where the streets are pretty bad too. And I didn't see a whole lot of them,
you know, that have improved over the weekend. When it goes from 30 degrees to 10 below,
anything that's on the road is stuck. Don't any of you people remember the storms we had where
you get that one big storm. And then there's snow banks through April and May from that one big storm.
And I'm assuming we may have some of this snow here till April.
Now on the other side, okay, I got myself ready by, you know, for climate change by going to,
well, going to the park manager and saying, look dude, this kind of scary, you know, what would happen
if the power went out, you know? And I'm like, I'm, I'm going to do something about that. I want either
like a wood burn and stove or I want a boiler that I can have outside my shed that I can burn wood
and it'll provide energy to the house electric heat. Something's got to give here. I'm, I'm just,
I'm planning for the future people. And the path that we're on with the, just the pace that
humanity is at going at. We just have to keep expanding to keep sprawling, keep just wiping
everything out, wasting everything. I saw today that we've got enough food in our garbage
to feed the world over. We throw away that much food. There's a, there's an organization out there
that's collecting all of that food before it goes to the dumpster now. And just tons and tons of
where there's really nothing wrong with it. What is wrong with us, man? We're
all this stuff is like right under our noses, you know, climate change. Oh, by the way, you know,
global warming has another side to it and it's like global freezing, which is what we're going
through right now. But this is all caused because of the ice on the caps that are melting and
changing everything. Yeah, look at the east coast. Not, not one place I'm going to move to is two
weeks and are all the buffalo pans get to see a game at a discount rate or get paid to clear out the
stadium. But this, this storm that we had here in Wisconsin was really not that abnormal. And
then we started talking about, remember this storm of 1976, the ice storm that took the power out
and people literally had to go to different towns with family and friends and find a place to stay.
I think that we rely too much on our modern day advancements without thinking of what, what
some of the consequences would be if we were to have a major audience like that. Now there were
people that are still out and every time you have a storm, oh, there's 10,000 people, you might not
think that's that many people, but in blizzard type conditions, it's pretty serious.
Hey, do you think anybody's out there tonight, Nate? I know, you know, eight, four, four, nine, six,
seven, two, seven, eight, nine. Next time there's a storm like that people and you can just stay
out the roads, stay home. I put solitaire. It got kind of quiet. Fortunately for me in the cats,
you know, they like music, Nate. So, you know, a lot of the music I have tonight was actually picked
out by my family, the cats. But I'm gonna, I'm not gonna lie. I felt a little bit of cabin fever,
right? Because you know, you really don't, you really don't want it to be like this. The more you try
to control it, the worse it gets. So I finally just let it go, man. Oh, yeah, cats were bugging.
We were getting down. What I get to kick out is watching all these bands when they're performing
and a lot of it's, you know, I stopped. They're doing in studio. So it's not fake or anything.
It's not lip-syncing. I use music to try and get me through these days of the darkness
and the winter. I turned into a lot like the animals, man. My heartbeat slowed down. I slept
through a few days, 10, 12 hours. Don't fight it, man. Do not fight it. It only makes it worse.
But be prepared, man. When we come back, we're going to talk about how to be prepared for
this upcoming year in America, especially politically. You start watching that Republican race
for presidential candidate, and I think it's already over.
Yeah, man, this is a cat song, for sure. It's all about staying alive. Stay in life. But yeah, they
have. They really like the BG's. I can swear as I do, I was doing a study. Look a little bit like
Hunter Bolta. Good man. Shared a lot of pictures of my cats this week. I got the design
doing. Man, this cat is like, he looks like cool. And he gets up on these high shelves and he's
got arm hanging over like that. And likes to lay on his back and have me go under his arms.
They're really starting to develop a strong relationship with me. But you know, a couple more
things that you need to do to get ready for this next year. I'm going to start gardening again.
And I'm going to do some serious canning. You know, I think about it. We were so fortunate
that, and by the way, I want to dedicate this week's show to my father, who's birthday. It would
have been his 89th birthday today. Lost him in 2015. And of course, I miss him so much more,
now that two brothers and my mom have joined him. But I can feel him there every day. And these
skills and this stuff that he taught us about, you know, raising animals and taking care of animals
and growing food and picking all the wild berries. I mean, we always had the best jams and jellies.
And why would I want to get a crap at the store that's like ultra processed? But they're,
you know, the one thing he said, oh, Mike, what you didn't talk about it like guns and bullets
or anything for, for this zombie apocalypse that's coming. No. And I'm not going to. And I've got
a couple of reasons for that, you know, like Scotty Walker, you know, Louisville here. Okay.
She did no zombie movies. I know what to do with a baseball bat.
Um, um, the other, you know, there are different levels of zombies. Some, you know, they don't,
and they can't really do nothing. You can just like blow on. And then they got these like
hybrids that are out there. I don't know if you've seen some of these movies, Nate. But
you have to be prepared, prepared for these, these hybrids. Uh, no, I don't need a gun because
when the time comes, yes, I will pry it from their cold to dance. Till then, I don't need it. Hey,
I can't, I can't reach the thing. There it is. I got to move this over here. I see we got
Wiscoe Paul in the line. Let me get a hole there. Hey, Wiscoe Paul, what's happening?
I know another cold Friday night. And I know because I walked about five blocks to get to the studio.
Hey, how are you doing? Pizza box. Well, that's good exercise anyway. I just found one
and reminisce a little bit about the 76, 77, uh, winter there. I remember the whole power. Yeah,
the whole power grid that I stayed, that I storm cut. Look, I had a lot of snow to begin with. I
mean, it was, it was, that's, and we didn't have four wheel drives at the time. It was mostly
a rear wheel drive, uh, cars and trucks and stuff. But the whole power grid was down for three,
four days and, uh, my dad was a farmer. So we had that wood stove and then we also had a generator.
So we weren't too bad a shape. But a lot of other people that were living in the country, I mean,
they had nothing. And some of them came over to our house. You don't want to get warm and,
and, but it, it, it, it made me think and, and a lot of people at that time think that,
hey, what if the power grid ever did go down? What, what are we going to do? And back then,
we weren't quite as reliant on it. You know, we had more, uh, uh, a little bit simpler times.
But nowadays, could you imagine that, that the whole power grid going down for three or four days?
I mean, we'd be, we wouldn't have nothing Michael. How about even longer, you know, in a, in a blizzard
or a nice storm or something. And I'm not, I'm not being paranoid here, man. I'm, I'm going to
definitely have, uh, an alternate, uh, heat source, heat source before next, next year hits.
Oh, you're not being paranoid. You're being smart. It's nice to have, you know, either a backup
generator, just in case the power grid, I think it's a little bit better shape now than it was then.
And, and a wood stove because the bottom line, if you have a wood stove, you're going to stay warm.
If you need be, you can blow a water and, uh, my cousin, my cousin in Oklahoma. I don't know if
you're listening, but she cooks her catfish right on time with that saved stove, man.
Wow. Yeah, that's really going bad. Well, I go back to my grandma and grandma, man. They still,
hey, it's, it's a whole different, uh, you know, when you really think about it, how, how we
progressed in our lifetime, Mike, it's unreal. We went from like, I don't want to get too carried away
with this stuff, but three channels on the TV to know you got, you got all this stuff going on.
And, uh, some of that's good. Maybe some of it, uh, not, but I, I just had to bring up that winter
or 76, 76, I'm not only the power grid, but the snow. I don't know. It was, it was deep. So, and,
and you're smart getting a, uh, you'll have people coming over the house. Hey, Mike, can I,
come in and warm up? Cool. Cause nobody comes over now, you know, well, they really,
if the power grid goes down, you'll be surprised when he friends you have them. Like, all right,
uh, you have a good night. All right. Thanks, man. And, and yeah, I'm, I'm enjoying my animal
friends, man. Uh, they're, like, today was really good. I had, well, let's see. We had Blue Jay
Cardinal. The Cardinal was the first one. They, they like to come early and, and then they come
little later at night when everybody else has gone. And it's, it's not quite dark yet. But
Cardinal's always there. Junkles are hot and heavy. Sparrows, Finch, chickadees, uh, nut hatch.
And today I had my first mornin' of there. So the word's out. The bird is the word. I got the
food. And yeah, that's what I'm going to do, man. I'm getting ready. And I think more people
should, you know, maybe like one and four or five households has a backup plan for something
like that. We can, we can let people into stay alive during a storm. I'm being serious, um,
with, with this, what I think is what I'm seeing in, in this Republican
party for president. Um, you know, how can you, Trump can't even go to a debate, man? He can't
and he won't because he's got nothing, man. He's a, he's a proven loser.
And to hear Nikki Haley go after him now, when all that's going to happen when you don't win,
Nikki, and I know you're not going to win, but how about Tim Scott, her home state,
ready to go with the, uh, with the orange beast, you know, he's such a sellout. I, I can't stand
those legislators from the South, uh, that, that just continue to sell out people to poverty and
racism and inequality and no opportunity at all, as long as you got James Clyburn down there,
um, on the Democratic side and Tim Scott, you know, those, those, those people aren't represented
there. None of them. In fact, you know, I'd say 80% of us aren't represented well, uh, by government.
And we know which way I believe it needs to go. It's not a secret that the more progressive we
become, uh, as, as a legislative body and DC and every state, the better our chances are of
continuing a democracy and building on it where it's never been before. You know, because
everybody's like, you can't go to her lap. It's because you don't want to try, man, because
if it works, then what? What is it that you're afraid of? Is it my eyes without a face, man?
Yes, the cats picked this one out too. You know, they're all about the eyes. That's how they
communicate. And late at night, that's all you're going to see is her eyes without a face.

Hey, brother. First off, we, the people, ultimately, are the government.
And we must never forget that, even though we have to get money out of politics,
otherwise we are screwed. And you're probably right. The apocalypse is definitely something to look
forward to. Yay. It's a little better than American politics is the apocalypse. I mean,
it's just a little bit better. Exactly. So here's my question to you.
When do you think it would be a good idea, if when people call up as an example,
or when you talk to someone at the bar or whatever it might be, just ask them simply say,
how much money do you make a year? I know that it's supposed to be like off top, you know, off the,
you know, that's what we'll talk about that. But man, I'd love to know exactly how much people
are making a year because if you go by the statistics, healthcare insurance and premiums
and out of pocket expenses are about 16 grand. Child care is about 16 grand.
Taxes are 16 grand. And rent is about 16 grand. You haven't paid for your food yet.
You haven't paid back a student loan if you own one, even though Joe Biden's doing a good job
and getting the student loans forgiven. Yeah, and it would have been even more except for, you know,
Joe Manchin and the Republicans not, you know, backing him up on wiping it out for everybody.
Exactly. So yet you get a household of two and they're making, you know, $64,000 a year,
which is not happening. They're making about $60,000 a year because that's about $20 an hour.
I guess I'm trying to figure out is to get some of these jug heads out there that vote against
their best interest to understand how four families own 80% or more wealth than 80% of the,
you know, average personnel there. And if they actually looked at it and said, oh, man, I make,
you know, $70,000 or whatever that is, that's not rich. That's not $100,000 is not rich nowadays.
No, actually $200,000 isn't really that much. It just depends on what you're, you know, what I
would say, you know, a senator earning $200,000 a year is absolutely ridiculous. But someone involved
in important infrastructure and labor or people, you know, involved in healthcare, things like that
deserve that kind of money. But no, they're never going to see anything like it. And as far as it goes,
I mean, people that work in the fast food industry, it wouldn't be nothing for them to be making
30 bucks an hour and having great benefit plans, except that there's a bunch of investors and,
you know, a board and stuff that that has to scrape off the top first. Otherwise, yeah,
there'd be plenty of money to go around for everybody. Yeah, exactly. And the thing is, I just
think that some of these people, you know, they call up and especially some of our conservative
collars that call up, if they, if you ask them how much money they truly make and if they were
honest, my guess is they were, they're not making 200 grand a year. And why the hell they would vote
for, you know, a party that is done absolutely nothing for them for the past 50 years is astounding to
me. Well, I'd also, Tom, I would also wonder why, why haven't you at this point if you're not happy
with either party got involved and tried to make a difference, you know, for, for, for yourself,
for your family, for your friends, for your neighbors, there are so many things that we do have in common
and that we all need to share. And that's not happened. And nobody wants to talk about that.
Absolutely. You know, and I know I'm using the word now and for their climate change, I'm using
the word of climate catastrophe. Yeah, disaster. That's really what it is. Climate disaster.
It's a catastrophe. And, you know, it's, it's just one of those things where I was thinking about that
and trying to figure out a way to actually get through to these, you know, people that vote against
their best interests for them to realize that the billionaire class has a, you know, fighting against
each other so they can keep on getting bigger tax breaks and really taking over the whole system.
Like they've done. And why it is that people, you know, can't see that they're, you know,
voting against their best interests. So I mean, I just, yeah, I mean, I'll be honest, I make 120
grand a year. And I'm living a middle class. Oh, did we lose you?
We're done. Oh, yeah, there you go. We lost you for a second. Probably just a slight trimmer
earthquake out there, right? Yeah, I'm saying that, you know, it's like, so I mean, I'm doing okay,
but man, I'm 120 grand a year. It's not like I, I'm not kind of living paycheck to paycheck in
some ways. And I think about these people that are making 30 and 40, 50 grand, you know,
back in the Midwest even and they can't be making it. I don't, I don't know what it's going to do
for them to wake up and understand that, you know, we need to have a child care for all system
or we need to have a medical care system for all that we all together collectively pay for
through our taxes in order to, you know, get those types of benefits and stop voting against your
best interest because the billionaire class would rather you talk about, you know, a pronoun or
they'd rather you talk about, you know, black lives matter or whatever it is so we can all be
fighting each other rather than looking at go, yeah, I make 50 grand. Oh, I make 50 grand too. And
and people actually really see how it is that should be all of us against the billionaire class.
Absolutely. If that's the way we can do it or not, where when people call up and, you know,
like CJ and say how much you make here, CJ, you know, and see exactly how that works. Oh,
that's not your business, Tom. Tom, that's not your business. Exactly. Exactly.
You'd rather you'd rather get excited about the potential woman that's going to be
done if you're run for Donald Trump and pretty much that's, that's, that's, that's,
it gets him excited. Yeah. I haven't heard from him in a while time and I don't really miss it.
And I'm, you know, I'll try and avoid him at this summer's class reunion because he'll show up
and I will too because, you know, we have a lot of the same friends there. Thanks, Tom. Yeah, no,
I, I, look, uh, vote and Republican has never been a good idea. I've never done it.
The only time I thought it was a good idea was when Arthur ran against Scott Walker in the
primary. And if we had all voted for Arthur, we'd have never had Scott Walker and it went to
mattered. Arthur would have made a hell of a good governor. It's smart, smart young man who would
have done the right thing by all of us. Uh, it lives his life that way.
As many of us do, you know, we care about each other. And we definitely have a lot in common,
even if our, you know, let's say our outside interests, sports, music, whatever drama. Um,
but as far as, you know, love and life and being on the same planet and having to find a way to
live together, we don't have any issues with that. And neither does Joanne and Madison. How are you
tonight? I'm feeling great and even better because if you're a great show, thank you for walking
those five blocks, uh, to be able to inform and entertain us today. Yeah, I was like, hey,
and it's staying in a little bit there. I, you know, okay, it's definitely somebody. Yeah,
Michael Angelo says, uh, is it? I'm like, uh, what's it? Well, how cold is it? He goes. I might come
out, you know, with the wind. And he goes, is it below zero? And I'm like, oh, yeah, it's below
zero with the wind. It had to be already like 15 below windshield. I think I'm, uh, you know,
when you're on the isthmus, you walk around every corner and the winds just get, it's going to
switch and blow the other way on either. There's kind of a wind tunnel going. It's cool though. Yeah,
but I was going to be asking you, I haven't heard from, uh, Cornell West lately. No, I was,
I was so hopeful at the beginning that we'd have an alternative, but I don't see it, uh,
materializing anytime shortly. And what, what if you, uh, run into?
You know, I'm not seeing a lot of things materialized the way I would have liked them too,
Joanne. And I'm, I'm not going to tell anybody that, you know, if you,
anybody that votes for Trump is an absolute moron. And if they were, there was somehow,
another Republican, you'd still be a moron voting for them. I'm not going to tell people that
they're an idiot or that they're throwing this for Trump if they vote for an outside parties.
I'm just not going to do that. However, I am going to tell people that
in the direction that we're going right now, okay, where, where you know that the Republicans
will call us behind Trump. They're already saying it. All those women, those idiots out wandering
around. Okay. In Iowa, their response is for why they would turn and support Trump.
Well, you know, he's, he's speaking for us. Now, I don't know what the hell you mean by saying
he's speaking for us. I see other comments that, well, I'd rather support a guy that sacrificed
his lifestyle to serve the country. And I'm like, oh, he never sacrificed being a grifter.
He's made more grift and he grifted more as the president than he ever has.
I don't know what to say to you and accept for that. The direction that it's going. And then
having the Tim Scott's out there that are willing to sell out. And when I say sell out, I mean,
you're selling out black people, dude. You're selling out my family and friends when you do that.
But anybody is, right? So it's not really, but what he's doing is trying to get more people of
color to vote for Trump. And this is going to happen all over the country. We already know people
are upset with the Democratic Party for decades of, you know, I'm going to tell you people with
the people that live in poverty that have been voting for Democrats all these years. They haven't
had, they haven't experienced democracy. You know, they're trying to, they're trying to support it.
But when you don't start with the people who deserve the basic needs to live in this country
right now, the hell with all of them. I'm surprised that people have made more of the fact that both
Biden and Kamala Harris aren't Ivy League people. Almost everybody were mentioning the Trumps and
all of that. And at least a staphonic and all of these, these, these, these folks, they have Ivy
League background. So it's, it's great to have somebody who was brought up in a state school,
like us. Biden came for University of Delaware and and and doesn't have, you know, maybe that's why
he's not getting to support from the media. He should be. Well, you just, you nailed it. You nailed
it. It's, the problem is the damn media. Okay. They, they let these clowns come on there.
These Republicans, these Ivy leaguers that pretend like they're, you know, the outsiders and
they've never had an opportunity until Donald Trump came along and stopped. They're, they're
to blame for so much of this. They don't ever challenge them. And all they ever do is, is,
parrot the stuff about 100 Biden and everything else and lefties and everything out. It's disgusting.
It really is. I, I don't think Joe Biden's done a bad job. Okay. Other than the American policy
that I've disagreed with for decades now, mainly our military being used to, to wipe out, you
know, the support of our, my God, taking our tax dollars and blowing these little kids apart.
It's just, I was right about it. I was right about it from the start. You know,
you had people calling and calling us people supporting him last and stuff, which it never was.
I do like the way that Biden got rid of those fees too. Yeah. With, with the banks, you know,
the way they try to scalp us when we run over a little bit on our checking accounts. Those
overdraft fees. Yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't think Biden's the problem with our broken political
system. He's been a part of it all this time. Thanks, Joanne, but that is not what's happening.
And you do need a lot of faith, especially after watching he pen jellicles and Iowa.

Yes, long time no talk. See now, hey, listen, I'm ready. I'm getting ready. I'll get my three bedroom
mobile home, manufactured home trailer, whatever you want to call it down by the river.
Or down by the lake. And once I get like, you know, I'll get a wood burning stove,
something I'll find out what the codes are and everything. And I'm going to become more
self-sufficient so that when something happens, friends like you got a place to come in and stay warm.
Well, that'd be great, Mike. Yeah, that'd be great. But here's what I got, Mike.
I run across, I got news break on my phone. Okay. Yeah. And I run across the headline that said
something like, I'm trying to remember how it went, but something like this, 18 to 50-year-olds,
only 10% of support conservatives are going to support the conservatives, something like that.
I didn't read the article. Next time I see it, I better save it, read it, and then save it.
So that's really 10%. I was really impressed with that demographic, 18 to 50.
They're getting it, Mike. They're getting it. They're figuring it out.
Well, you would think so. Yeah. I hope you're right. But again, this is like, okay, we're talking
about it now, right? And we better be talking about this stuff. And more and more talking about it,
while we're just downtown getting coffee, getting gas, getting groceries, taking whatever
opportunity we got to try and shine some light on. And I don't mean like being negative kind of
thing. Start focusing on something that happened, that benefited us all, that happened because Joe Biden
was president. And I'll do the beating on the clowns that aren't going to do no matter what,
right? I'm not talking about those guys. I'm talking about people that are real quiet,
and they take care of their families, and they're good people, and they just don't know what to do
right now. Right. Right. I agree, Mike. I agree. But keep informing them, throwing information
at them, accurate information. Tell them, hey, don't take my word for it. Look it up. Research it.
I mean, they can tell you who the Green Bay Packer roster, but they can't tell you anything else
important stuff that's in their lives. I mean, I'm a Packer fan too, but I still do my political
homework, so I know where these rascals stand on issues for crying out loud. So yeah, well, that's
why I'm a Packer fan again, because we don't have Aaron Rogers anymore. There you go. It was easy
to lose when he was, you know, to blame, but he used it to blame me. Hey, thanks a lot, Terry,
and stay in touch, man. Yeah, you bet. All right. And keep watching the news, man, because at some
point, I got to step it up. Now, Monday starts extensive and much needed dental work for me,
and it's going to change my life again, right? And make it a better quality of life.
I already told you I'm not vain about what people think about what I look. I know I'm handsome
as hell. My cancel it me know every day. And they never tell me I got bad breath. It's speaking
of bad breath. Just kidding. Recall it, rock, colony, how's it going? Hey, everybody, how you doing?
All right, man. All right. Hey, I just wanted to dub tell a little bit off of what time from
the left is close where the people guy was saying, uh, with the $60,000 year figure, actually,
you need to make about $30 an hour to even get to that figure. So just something for people out there,
especially younger people to think about, and going back to what you were saying about the power
earlier. It's like, what crack? What gets me with these young guys? They don't really worry about
the power going on, Mike. It's, oh, my God, don't not lose that internet. If we lose the internet,
the world comes to an end as far as they're concerned. Well, yeah, it would suck to not be able to
be on Facebook anymore and communicate with the, you know, friends and family, uh, you know,
some, some of them overseas, right? But when you think about where we came from Rico and what we,
what it was like when we were kids and, you know, for a long time of TV, you know, I don't
remember when we got our first TV, but, you know, the radio was cool. But most of the time was,
you know, spent outside, you know, live in man and joy and nature and things. And I'm,
I'm going pulling hard left that way. Man, as far as it goes, entertainment and things, uh,
I, I'm more entertained by my animals, my pets and nature than anything else on the planet.
Yeah, but with the young guys, you know, it's like, if the power does go out and they start
worrying about how to eat their home, it's like, I don't know what to do because I don't have YouTube
or Google or tell me how to do that. I think some of these young guys wouldn't do all right. Okay,
this old guy wants to be ready because I know I wouldn't do very good and sub-zero temperature.
So, you know, I want to have backup source and I want to be comfortable while I watch the world
come to an end, right? We'll survive. We'll survive, buddy. You know, it takes us,
we'll teach the young people how to do this, right? Yep. More software to go. Thanks a lot, Rico.
But yeah, you know, you're right, Rico. It's more like 30 bucks an hour and I chose that as a
fast food number because I started at the fight for 15 sand. Well, it's going to need to be 20 or 25
by the time we do it. And it would need to be 30 and it would be fair. But I don't even live on that.
Fortunately, because my Medicare and my disability and my part-time job is enough for me to,
you know, sustain me. Yeah, more rubs on me, man. A whole week of it. Appreciate you guys all
listening and calling in. We'll head out hard again next week. But it's time to get up and get
active. I'll, you know, I get this stuff taken care of. My life is coming back in. It warms up.
We got work to do with the capital people. We got recalls to line up. I'll talk about that a
