Anya van Wagtendonk, the state Capitol reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio, joined Pete and Greg in the first hour to talk about her recent reporting around the legislative push to legalize weed in Wisconsin.

Pete and Greg bring up how so many Wisconsinites need to cross state lines to buy cannabis – from Michigan to Illinois. Anya breaks down the difficulties legislators have faced for over a decade. Additionally, Anya lets us know that Republican lawmakers hold all the power when passing this law—or any law, really—regardless of how much Democratic support exists to add Wisconsin to the list of weed-legal states.
