a little bit warmer, tiny, tiny bit today. We'll reach high temperatures of around 10 degrees.
So this means our wind chills will actually feel at about zero for our highs, which is
a huge accomplishment over the past few days. We have been well, well, some zero dangerously.
So this nice crawl out of the cold is going to feel fantastic by tomorrow. We will be
mostly sunny, bright and beautiful to end the week with highs in the low 20s. And it
could even better from there. I mean, we're going to be flirting with 30 degrees on Saturday.
We're going to be flirting with 40 degrees on Sunday. And then we're actually going to
hit the 40s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. So a major spring warm-up headed our way.
But that's going to bring some melting, some fog, some winchery precipitation possibly
as well. So a little bit of ickiness with it. But it feels good. It does. It does. I heard
shorts weather next week. I don't know what the rest of you guys are. Me too. But what
you're telling me today, Brittany, is that my chemically enhanced salt has a chance of
melting the ice on my sidewalk today. Possibly. That was a good equivocation there. I really
don't want this for you, Brittany. But you'd be a great politician. You're really one.
You're really good at this. I'm very good at it. Good to have it there. It's please stay

hour with some entertainment news. We're going to talk about the Yellowstone Effect, a blue
blood spinoff and just me just speaking for me journalistically, maybe the worst headlined
concert I've ever seen and it's coming to Wisconsin. Oh, but there's going to be people
out there. They're going to be excited about it. I'm sure. I'm sure. Yeah. I'm really
a judge here. We will talk about some local concerts coming to town as well and some other
great things going on in our area. Okay. All that coming up and speaking of great things
and just things going on in our area in general. Melissa, you were busy last night. I wanted
to touch start right here with you. Yeah. The common council had their regular meeting
last night and the big item if you were listening to my newscast this morning was the fluoride
in the water. But they voted to to keep it in. So that was there was a lot of discussion.
There was a lot of commentary that I appreciated by the older persons saying they heard from
their constituents. And even when their opinions differed like the older person in particular
did doesn't want fluoride in his water. But he overwhelmingly heard from his constituents
saying, but we do. And he said, you know, so I have to represent my constituents, even
when my opinion differs. And that is what representative democracy means. And that's
what we should be pushing in the United States as a whole. Right. Because we are we're
the ones in charge. Exactly. Yeah. And our common council stood behind that last night,
which I think is wonderful. Excellent. Yeah. And also then the the ATV UTV ordinance did
not. And while it changed a little bit, they're just they're okaying it on County Highway
Z, which the Griffith Avenue where they're already allowed. But they're going to write an
ordinance that then will be included in the city. But no ATV UTV is on city streets.
Okay. It's a it's a it's a topic that's probably not going to go away anytime soon necessarily.
We'll probably be hearing from about this one as it goes along. And I think that as I've
talked about with Mayor Zachary on Monday, this is one of those topics that it wherever
is going to happen, we're going to figure it out together as a city as a community. And
and similar thing with the fluoride. Now, just personally, my own just speaking for myself,
nobody else in this universe, I I talked about this with Matt. So I'm not saying anything
I haven't our set already. We've got a lot going on in our world. We've got a lot going
on in our town and in our local towns that really need our attention. And I do not feel
like we have time to take our eye off the ball and go over things that science has already
figured out. Right. With studies for 80 years. When the only reason we're even talking about
this is because some guy who's got a famous last name, there's no reason nobody anybody
be listening to Kennedy. If he did, he wasn't a Kennedy. There's no reason whatsoever.
He has nothing, no, no education to back up his position. He has no facts to back up his thoughts.
And he is only in the position because he is in the pocket of somebody else or he's in their
pocket. I don't know how that works out anymore with these people. I don't even know if they
know who always who anymore. But they just got dirty laundry on each other. That's it. I've seen
this my whole life, whether it's from the other side of the tracks or it's in politics or it's
in Chicago politics to be blunt with everybody. This is how this works. I'm going to give you a
job because you help me get my job and so on. And the only reason anybody is hearing this person
out is because he has a microphone in front of him and he is a Kennedy. That's it. We need to move on.
We know I believe in life. You question everything. But once you get answers, solid facts from
science or what have you, we can move on. The earth is round. Cool. All right. Let's go ahead and
figure some other stuff out because we got a lot of things on our plate. If we had no problems in
this world, then okay. All right. Sure. Well, let's go ahead and discuss whatever you want. Revisit,
whatever. Right. But we got things to do. We got work to be done. We've got a lot of issues in
our area. And our area is actually pretty good. Rapids is doing pretty well. You look at some
other cities that aren't too far from us and they are not in the same situation. Correct.
In order to keep that, there are certain things we need to do. Right. And the number one thing
that I think we need is to hear each other, to be good to each other, to listen to each other.
And it sounds like that happened yesterday. It did. I'm proud of our community. I'm proud of
hearing that. And I do not want to sound like I know I can get a little out and emotional.
But I am not all trying to like, quiet anybody. If you got questions, ask them. Just once you get
solid answers from actual people that know what they're talking about, not people who just like
to hear themselves speak. Then let's move on. We got other things to do, to be focusing on.
And I think it's very important to keep an open mind. But like you said, question everything,
because there is a lot of information flying around out there. There's a lot of information
available on the internet now that wasn't 50, 100 years ago, obviously. But you also do need
to question those sources. Yeah. I'm not a, I make it very clear that I am not on either side of
the aisle. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm for the American people. I'm for facts. I'm
for true information. And I'm for people who actually deserve to be politicians. People who
actually care about it and actually work for it. Not just trying to get them. Yeah. Not just
for themselves or for the people in their pocket again. I appreciate that on a local level,
we are hearing each other out. And our constituents are doing their job listening to the people.
Right. That's that's their job. If you don't like it, you don't have to do it. No,
no politician has ever been forced to be a politician. You choose these jobs. And if you're
choosing to do it, you're choosing to listen to us. You're choosing to hear people out. Right.
And the conversation around the ATV UTV issue, like you said, it will come back because we are
a bit of an island right now with having Wisconsin Rapids, the surrounding counties around us allow
ATV UTV traffic. Right. But again, our, our people who voted in November said no. Yeah.
overwhelmingly were against it. They were except for one district. And the older persons said,
you know, they held that up. They said, this is what the people voted. So if it comes back again,
it should be because the people want to talk about it or they have an opportunity to talk about
it and vote on it versus the city just passing an ordinance. Right. Yeah. And subverting the will
of the people because that's what was felt was happening. Be sure to be listening to our breaks.

happened over the last week. That's true. I don't know why I really like that. I got stories
into pockets. I got to go like that. I like that. I like it. It's got very nice. One of the oldest
phrases I, I remember is being a kid and having a, being grumpy in the morning, which is shocking
to you too. And I'm astonished. And my papa's looking at me and punch me in the shoulder.
Be like, Jimmy, you think you have it a bad day? Try not to have one. That's a bad day. Yeah,
there you go. I've mentioned this many times. Now, I bring this up in part because of our,
our, really, our, our second opening story of our opening monologue here. Everyone has bad mornings.
But if you're, if you're having one or have you, if you, if you have one coming up or something
like that, I want you to keep this gentleman in mind and, and maybe, you know, perspective.
I think perspective is one of the best friends you could have. The older you get. Oh yeah.
It's good to keep in mind because some guy is going viral for how his morning went from bad to
horrific in 60 seconds. Oh, yes. He said he had a late night and needed to get up early. So he was
exhausted when his alarm went off at 8 a.m. Just as a side note, like getting up at 8 a.m. is not,
that's not early to me. He fumbled with his phone, trying to snooze the alarm. And in the process,
he hit the power button five times, which set off an emergency SOS. It was an emergency SOS
call on his Google Pixel. So his usual alarm turned into a blaring siren sound.
He said, I saw the notifications for calling 911 and stuff about sending location
or whatever else to emergency context. And I'm thinking, oh no, emergency services are going to come.
And my friends will be scared. He canceled everything. But then started getting text from his
friends. They were saying he'd sent them photos and videos from his bed. There's a feature on his
phone that sends images when an emergency is triggered. Oh no. The problem and the problem was,
yep, he sleeps nude. He is naked. He is. And his birthday soon. So 12 emergency context were sent
images of him in the nude just, you know, the way he was made real real quick. 12 emergency
context. That's it. That's he's excessive. That doesn't seem a little bit one or two, three, four,
maybe. I can say, yeah, I maybe have one. And I don't think I've updated it. I don't know if I
have. I think ice in my phone is still my mom. Oh no. Fortunately, he was able to have a
sets of puberty about it. He said, hope this gave everyone a good laugh before anyone gets
all serious. Yes, I know. I can change OSS SOS settings on my phone. Quote, nobody was upset or
offended. My embarrassment just gave everyone a jolly start to their day or a fun late night call
depending on the time zone. Steve, all right. I mean, there are emergencies, but I'm not sure.
You can't see in these pictures. Can you zoom in and wait, wait, no, don't do that. Don't do
that. Steve, I need you to remove me from your emergency context. I need you to. In fact, I
won't cut off all communication. Steve, I'm sorry. I almost did this because I was trying to turn
up the volume on my phone and I accidentally hit the power button five times. And it said,
call 911 and I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It does, it does, at least on mine,
gave me the option. You had to push one more button to actually place the call, which was my
life saver because I panicked. Life saver, so to speak. We're going to break. We'll be back with

to send him to any random hospital and they just happened to send him to this to the hospital. Kim
and Kim got assigned to take care of my father. And, you know, spoiler alert, my dad's okay.
Yeah, that's right. But the points that Kim got from this, there's no, like, there's no topping
that for like any of the rest of us. Like she's not an actual sibling. Yeah. And she's way,
she saved my dad. Like, yeah, like, how do you beat that? Like, you can't say, hey, dad,
I shoveled the walk. Yeah, did you save my life? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He did. I got you some baseball
cards. Here you go. Like, oh, that's great. Did you get your one point? You're still at the

pronounce it. Eel-o-la. Eel-o-la. Thank you. Eel-o-lo-homes. She's very good in that, by the way. She's
got a new movie coming up with Chris Pratt, Electric State or something like that. A lot of people in
the industry are very excited about him just hearing a lot of noise about. Yes. Yeah. A lot of
electricity about it. It's so to speak. I can't wait to see what she does. Yeah. Because she's so
young and yeah, she hit fame really young. But also, you know, today is a different, we've talked
about this a lot. Today is different for young stars. Yes. And there's a lot more support and
mental support for them. So I think it's going to be exciting to see what she does. Right. Yeah,
100%. 100%. I'm very looking forward to it. I wouldn't be surprised the way she seems if she
kind of went away for a little while and came back. It's one of those things. It took a break.
Yeah. With the age that she's at and everything. She just got married. Yeah. Very happy on the farm
and all that. There's something about that that people get it and like, you know, what, what am I
doing? Well, I'm just going to stay here. I got money. I just live my life. Live in the farm.
The great Benicio del Toro is 58 today. Spanish Puerto Rican high bread plays the DJ in
Codebreaker and Star Wars. The last Jedi. He's also the collector in the Guardians of the Galaxy
and Avengers movies. There's quite a few famous roles for Benicio. Oh my gosh. He has been in
so many films and he's one of those guys that like puts on a character. You know, he like
wears the character when he's doing it. In fact, I have no idea like what is normal voices.
It's because of the way he changes it so much. And in all of the roles I've seen him, he does
something different. So he got to prominence with the usual suspects and his character who kind
of mumbles a bit. But he still had lines. So they worked quite a bit on that mumble to get it to
where it was a little bit audible, but not too audible and everything. Oh, he was afraid. He was
terrified that no one was going to understand him too. But it worked out. It's a great role.
He's a really, really strong actor. And I hope that he gets an opportunity to do more comedy.
Because I've seen him do a lot of comedy, but he is very funny. And it's not like he changes
up his act that much. Well, no, because he can be the deadpan funny. Yes. Yes. And it plays so
well because of how he is. But I just have to point out every time I don't know why I just have
to point this out. He was in the James Bond movie, licensed to kill. Yeah. Yeah. In 89. Oh my
goodness. I got all about that. You're not know that. Oh wow. Yeah. Good call.
CL is 62. Incredible singer, songwriter. Yep. Unfortunate commercial person. Yeah.
That was on the Pat Crite Lowe show this morning. Oh, I haven't seen it. But I, yeah, it seems
like it was very disturbing for people. Probably not the best choice for his career. I just,
I want to know like why, why now? I got to think that this isn't like, it's not like Mountain
Dew came up with this idea. Nobody's ever thought of it before CLS. As a seal. All right. I just,
what I'm very curious of how like they convinced him now to do it. Everything. Oh my goodness.
That is disturbing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's not right. It's weird. I almost wish it would have
been reverse. I don't know if that had been better, but it seals body with a seal head. I don't
know. I don't know. Wow. It's weird. Incredible singer, songwriter. Oh, absolutely. Yes.
It was very talented. Very good. He's got an album, a solo album that he did with Jeff
and there's a song called Fast Changes that if you're going to obviously kiss from a rose,
all the songs you know from him, I will say going way back to killer his first single,
that's where I became a fan of seal. That song to this day. I'm still looking for a way to get
it into our 90s mixtape because I love the song and I just haven't been able to fit into a playlist
yet. But that song got me into a big fan of his and then working with Jeff back. He's a great
singer, songwriter. And also, you know, you know, you've hit it big when you can just go by one
name. Yeah. I'm telling you. Especially a name that you share with an animal. Yes. Yeah.
One, if you've ever seen his whole name, I can understand why. Very unpronounceable. So
seal Henry. Oh, I see. Oh, Monday, Adolio Samuel. Nice name, huh? A fascinating story too. His
journey, his journey, just just to get here and different things. Where he was, you know,
he went through the scars on his face are quite a story too. And in a day and age where that,
you know, might hold you back or certain things, certainly speaks to his talent, how good he is that
he didn't hold him back. No, but I think also to the point of he's never kind of like make him
did up. He's never tried to hide it. No, he's younger. He did have long dreads kind of and try to
get out of the way. But I feel like he's always owned that story and used it as an opportunity to
talk about immigrants, talk about what it is that journey is and stuff. Jeff Daniels is 70.
Wow. Del Harris on Amazon's American Rust and James Comey in the miniseries higher loyalty.
Of course, Dumber, Harry and Dumber, and so many other great movies. He's the likable doof.
Yes. In a lot of movies, he's played that too. Yeah. But he also, he's done a really good work
straight to, like I love dimming speed. He was a bad guy in speed, wasn't he?
Oh, that was the cop. He was the cop. Yeah. He was a buddy. Yeah. But the newsroom, I think I've
seen that a little bit of that. Oh, my God. So Jeff Daniels has a speech that he gives in the
beginning of that show that's the first scene, first thing of that show and everything. And it's
one of the greatest political speeches you'll ever hear in your life. And it's everything that we
want and ask for out of politics and out of journalism. It's incredibly well done. And it took
a one take. Yeah. Seriously? Yeah. Yeah. Wow. I've studied Jeff a lot. I'm a big fan of Mr. Daniels.
He's a Midwest boys and Michigan boy and guy. And of all the things he has done in his career,
I feel like he would be, he would be, he'd agree with me on this one, or I'd agree with him.
The Purple Rose Theater is the greatest work he'll ever do. It's a nonprofit theater,
regional theater. It hosts local community theater shows. It promotes the arts. And it is also
an incredible economic resource for that area. And Michigan, like Detroit and some
earth, certain areas have been hit pretty hard because of the Purple Rose Theater. There's
certain areas that haven't been hit as hard because they have a local theater that they invested in
and that they put time into. You see where I'm going with this Wisconsin? When you've finished
deadlass in the arts, you know, and you're worrying about this and you're worrying about that.
Does anybody know that we're going to be like the snow is going to be all of a sudden improve
and it's going to go back to like when we were kids. I don't think so. I don't believe that.
Does he seem that way? No. So when we talk about our friends up north that are struggling right now
and everything, what could help them? How could we get some economic impact? Well, it seems like
the arts are a pretty good stand. Hey, build up the community. Make people want to come out and
be a part of it. And community theaters do that. Yes. And then who wants to be behind Michigan?
I mean, seriously. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Come on now. I'm using it. At least pass them. I'm definitely
playing that card. You definitely got to do it. The pride card, right? Yes. If it gets people to
care. Tony Iomey is 77, a legendary black seven guitar player. Yes. I underappreciated. Completely
underappreciated. You know, you're in a band with Ozzy. It's understandable. You're going to get a
little bit forgotten, but you shouldn't be. Oh, man, one of the most amazing stories of how he,
you know, he comes by the sound and you know, that black Sabbath sound that I think everyone
recognized and even if you're not a fan was the fact that he had an issue with his fingertips.
They were either missing missing a couple of fingertips, which means he slacked the the strings
on his guitar and that's what made that really deep rumbling sound, which is just so cool.
Tips of his middle and ring fingers. Yes. Yeah. When he lost it when he was a teenager working
in a sheet metal factory. Oh, yeah, yeah. He refused to stop playing guitar. Yep. He would not
stay. He loved it that much and look what happens. Exactly. Perseverance. Mm-hmm. And one of the
greatest voices of all time, Smokey Robinson is 85 today. Rock and roll Hall of Famer. Just so
many classics with the miracles. Love so many others. And also it's not just his career, but the
careers that spawned from people that he gave an opportunity to to open up for him and the people
he inspired. Yes. And the music he inspired. Oh, many people. Bob Dylan once called him the
America's greatest living poet. Yeah. So that's pretty good. That's pretty good. Yeah. It's so.
Yeah. One of my favorites. Yeah. Tears of a clown. I'll listen to that more in my life. Yes.

cool. You know, so we kind of playing with that idea. And so I asked the staff, what words do you
say when you want to lose? But you don't want to let loose. And some of them didn't have any words.
They just said we just let loose. And that's the way it is. So I couldn't get them a shirt.
Right. Right. But they lose out. Yeah. Those that could come up with some words that they say
instead of saying something out loud. You don't, you're going to regret. Well, that's what we're
putting on those shirts. Nice. Nice shirts. Yep. You're great. So whatever it is. I thought I'd
ask my mom and dad, you know, just knowing that you were going to be in today and everything and
just get the ball rolling and stuff. And my mom was laughing too hard. She did not come up with anything.
I actually asked her right before I left this morning too. I'm like, hey, are you sure? You got
nothing. She said, but my dad wanted to use a bunch of, for him, he's like, well, you just
swear an Italian. My dad is still a swear word. You think nobody out there speaks an Italian. He's
like, oh, I'm fine. So he goes with a son of a biscuit. Yeah. That's a good one. I didn't
heard that long time. I thought that was a good one. I like the play on that. There's a lot of great
ones. And you can do this and you can even get it on the t-shirt fill. Yeah. We'd be happy to
honor your non-swear words, but making a t-shirt just for you. That's what we like to do over there.
We do a lot of, I mean, we can do shirts by the hundreds. We've done that and we can do it,
but we can also do onesie twosies. And really great. If you have a really cool idea,
we'd be proud to help you. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, you know, and get the word out.
How are things going over at the shop? What do you guys up to? Oh, Stan Busy. This is good. It's
starting in January. One of our slower months of the year, and then slowly starts ramping up
again and it's been doing that. And so we're busy over there. I wrote a couple of things down here.
Oh, new fire chief from in yesterday. Ben congrats to him. He's my next door neighbor. Oh, really?
Yeah. You know, it's funny. He come in. I know he's part of the fire department. He's
looking next to me for eight years now and he's beautiful family. A couple young kids and a really
just nice wife. I mean, it's a beautiful family. And he came in and gave me a way. He needs
the new business cards fail and I can get the show around. Oh, yeah. And then actually left it
right down. It's Ben and fire chief. I'm going. I live next to the fire chief. That's all right.
Well, I think my house just went up in the end and cost him to get to live next to the fire chief.
Imagine, yeah, house would be, you know, if he's got fire, he'd be instantaneous service.
Right. Right. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Right. That's the place to be. Yeah.
So anyway, we're doing some business cards for him and I was able to show him around and
show him some of the things we're doing with my M2 with the T-shirts and with that,
get a neat little laser in the back now that I could put emblems on just about any any surface.
Yeah. So, you know, doing so many things. So need to have him come in and he's a great guy.
So I'm very proud of him. Actually, that's cool. We do a lot of work for Safeway.
Doing some work for Safeway Boss. Again, another great local company that does good by us.
It's going to be worth a paydix with a paydix. I always wanted to say that.
What do you think? What's the paydix with a paydix? I go with paydix, but it's a little more
difficult to spell. So the Alexander house, hidden gem in our community, man, they do a lot of neat
little art shows over there and cultural shows and so every time they cut a new show coming up,
we print out their invitations that they send out again. Which are wonderful. I love
the invitation. Tracey helps design with that too and works with them. But they do a fantastic
job. So it's a neat little gem. We were just over there for him. I had to be in a meeting just
down the street for you guys, right? Not too long ago. I've been a couple of years and seven
and it was just a beautiful place. It's a beautiful place if you haven't gone in there.
No, you work with our local teams as well, high school and of course our river kings and rafters.
And recently, guys, you guys were working with the river kings over the weekend and stuff.
And that was great. Great to see as always. I bring up the rafters just to try to warm people up.
Like, even if you don't have any information. Just excited to be able to just mention them
because they're not that far away. We're really excited about the season ahead. But we know that
we're going to be talking more about that as well. Oh, sure. I appreciate the work you're doing there.
Oh, thanks. We print the river kings programs that you see when you go to the river kings and
features the word of the week. It's featured in that program. So tie it in, right? Yeah, so happy to
keep that going. But so we work with them quite a lot. And then of course, yeah, the rafters.
I'm excited for that too. Anytime we start hearing about the burrs and the rafters and
that gives you a little warm feeling inside. It's going to be better. And so here's
hope of our great season for them. And Ken's got some, he's been coming to us because we do a lot
of their printing a lot. And he's got some new marketing ideas. I'm not going to spill the beans
because Ken's going to have to spill the beans. That's right. And some of the things that he's
had is working on. So I'm sworn to secrets fee, I guess, but it's going to be any year for the
rafters. He's done a lot of positive changes over there. He's got almost overhauled his staff
there. We've met a lot of them already. And there's some really cool people. Yes. And they
get some really good ideas coming. So it's going to be a new year for the rafters and hopefully
we'll have a really fun summer with them. Really had a couple of great conversations with Ken since
the off season started. And one of the things that has come very clear is how much he
appreciates this area, loves this area, loves having this ballpark and this team and everything.
The rafters are the only team in the northwards that own their stadium. And they look to take
advantage of that by helping out the community, doing things with the community, opening the
door to the United Way and the United Weekend event, things like that. And they want to do even more
of that. Along with a lot of the promotion ideas they had, they got some really, it is a complete
overhaul. And it's very rare to see that. And it's going to be an exciting season, I think, in
mind you, many, many reasons, but that's a big one of them. It's just the entertainment part of it.
Certainly the players they're bringing in too. They got some nice players that are bringing back
and some new guys that they're bringing in. It's going to be a very exciting rafter season.
It's an occasion to go. I mean, it's just fun to take your friends out there. I've got my little
two-year-old grandson bring them out there. They just have a great time. They put on a great show
and very competitive baseball, obviously, but you're right. Ken, a great guy, and he's heavily
invested in our area. Not only with the rafters, but in his own businesses and his wife too. They're
very entrepreneurial type people and very good assets for our community. Not only the rafters,
but him personally. And so they're very happy to work with him. Phil, we have made the audience
wait long enough. What is our wicked awesome word of Wednesday? Well, how apropos that you should
ask me that. Because the word is apropos. Very good. Very good. Yes, nice.

I keep it in suspense area. APR O-P-O-S. Apropos. Now, I thought that was more of a common word
that I've heard a lot, but then I showed it to my staff and they all said, what's that?
Really? Yeah. I thought it was more of a known word, but yeah. I use it quite a bit. Maybe
this is me, I don't know. It's very seldom that things make me feel old. I joke about it,
but I really don't feel that very often or anything. Things like that don't do.
Yeah. I don't know why. You're saying something you just expect everyone. I know it, I don't know it.
Then you go, am I in a bubble? Yeah. What's going on? That is a fantastic word that people get more
people use again. That's kind of a fun word because it's not said like it's spelled. Right,
right. It's French word, I believe. So yeah. A little bit of like, what is how do you say that?
But yeah, apropos. It's very apropos. Let's see. What do we want to see? Oh, the warm
weather or something like that. Apropos should be spelled season. There you go. Right. Yeah. That
works. That's pretty good. So yeah, well, it wasn't great, but it was worth a try. It was worth
a try. Wasn't it? Absolutely. It works. It works. Yeah. You can go ahead and head on over to

And I don't know why, but I know that Wednesdays feel like a great day. The middle of the week,
you know, it's a really cook to go over and eat pizza. I agree.
It's easy. There's a new pull out on pizza and it found that the average American hasn't
changed their pizza order in two years. Wow. And 14% of people have been eating the exact
same pizza for over five years. Midwesterners have your reputation of being the least experimental
with their food. And that's true with pizza too. Except that we like casseroles.
Yeah, that's that we get very creative with those. Excuse me, hot dishes.
Of all 50 states, Michigan is the state would least likely to spice up their pizza order.
And 11% of people say that they have never tried a new pizza combination. That's more than any other
state. Yeah, that kind of is. Wait, wait, wait. How does that even wait? Well, they had to try it
one first. I mean, yeah, they just went with the first one. The first one they ever tasted.
Yeah, they were done. Wow. Anchoves and pineapple for life. That's it.
57% of Americans say that they're open to trying a new combination, but don't know where to start.
You pick something different. Yeah, where do you start?
Um, I understand hypocrisy of this coming from maybe the world's biggest over
thicker, but I think you're over thinking this. I think you're a little bit just a little bit.
Yeah, I mean, if you always get pepperoni, maybe you should just try sausage. Yeah, yeah, just a
that's not a little step over, right? Just tiny, itty-bitty, itty-bitty-bitty step. You could
have both. Before we get to the article, options people are repeatedly ordering. I want to open
it to the audience, have one, five, four, two, four, twenty, six hundred. Have you tried
different things on your pizza and recent memory? And when you do, did you like them?
I want to, I'm curious about that part of it too. Have you guys done any of this? Yeah. Yeah,
actually, um, being able to have cheese. Surprise to no one. My pizza is always special.
But I recently had a weekend with my siblings. We all got together with their kids and had a whole
weekend at my brothers. And it was a lot of fun. And um, my sister-in-law Jacqueline also doesn't
really, she doesn't like cheese. So she likes to make pizza without cheese. So her and I, she created
for us. Um, it was a white sauce with like an oat milk or something like that. But then she put
sausage, olives, like green olives and black olives, I think, uh, pepperoncini's and arugula.
Oh, interesting. It was actually fantastic. And I'm not an arugula fan because I don't like it in
salad. I don't like that peppered tasting salad. Yeah, it's a little on the bitter side. Yeah,
not bad. Or on sandwiches. I'm not really a fan of it. But on pizza, it was fantastic. Oh, wow.
That was a really good pizza. That sounds really good. That sounds really good. Not bad. Not bad at all.

James, you know what I'm talking about? Do you think I like pizza?
Oh, we are this, this morning show is the home of self-deprecation.
We are so good at this. We are real. Yeah. We are real around here. But do you try different
types of pizza every once in a while? Do you do your experiment every once in a while?
Well, I mean, I'm pretty much, I tell everybody if they ask what kind of what I win on my pizza.
I pretty much say anything but Android type of deal. Yeah. But you know,
depends on where I go. Like now if I want to go have a really good chicken bacon ranch pizza,
I'm pretty much going to go out to the ridges. Okay. I think it just depends, you know,
what type of pizza you want, where you go. I mean, you know, it might be if I get something from
Domino's, it's pretty much either more of their deluxe fight with hand toss or thin crust. I mean,
I'm not a fan fan style person. It's all I mean, no, no. That's not pizza. That's just flat.
It's my mother would slap you with face right now. And my dad's yelling at me right now too.
Yeah. But I just I pizza without crust is just not pizza to me. I don't get it. I know.
This is why and not only this, but I I lose my Chicago card every time I do this and I know I
would I do not care. Deep dish pizza is not pizza. It's soup. That's soup. That is soup.
That's not pizza. It's badly cooked if it's soup. Yes. Whatever it is in any worth eating.
You can try it once. Go ahead and see what you're talking. Yeah. Right. But and I also will say I
have never met a Chicagoan that likes deep dish pizza. I think that was just one Chicagoan that
likes totally created to do up against the the New York pizza thing. That's all it was. It was
like, yeah, well, we got our own pizza too. No one eats it. But we but I I really should,
you know, make sure that I get this out there. I needed to squalify myself from this
conversation. I I pretty much just eat pepperoni pizza. And I don't know that how many times I've
really tried any different type of pizza. For me, experimentation is, well, I got dominoes
this week. I'm going to get pizza hot next week. I'm going to I'm going to try different. Like
that's how I that's the crazy changes that I make. I try different places. Kevin's got it right
though. Like there are different pizzas you want to get from different places. Right. Yes,
yes, definitely. Yeah. I mean, I guess it depends on taste. I mean, my my boys are pretty much
show. They'll pretty much have anything on their pizzas, but much. They don't have much
from the pizza, but they'll, you know, they'll go on the town and anything else on the pizza,
but when it comes to mushrooms, you can have it out there at all. Interesting. Yeah. But outside
of outside of pizza, they can have mushrooms on steak or on a burger, but it's just I don't know
what it is with them with pizza, not wanting to have mushrooms on the huh. So Kevin, you said
anything but anchovies, but have you tried anchovies on pizza? No, and I just say, you know,
I can't even start eating either. Yeah. Well, if they're related, I guess that yeah, they are.
So yeah, I get that. There's certain things in life. You just know. You just know. I encourage
people to try different stuff, experiment a little bit, but there's also some things where like,
you know, what I just know, I just I'm good. We appreciate you can have safe travels out there.
I think you should go try a chicken bacon ranch out there at the ridges and then that's that's
free. And I'm I'm sure they're not a sponsor. I'm sorry, but that's not the ridges. We love
the edges. They advertise with us every spring. Yeah. Yeah. We love ridges. Thank you,

So special occasions, you know, if we're going to get pizza, we say, oh, let's get our pizza,
you know, all that's so happy. Isn't it though? I love it. I have a friend to a very very good friend
who's who's also in radio shout out to Jill. And she likes pineapple and black olive.
Pizza and it's actually not bad. I tried it because I'm not a black olive person. I really not
all of any kind of olive, but I tried it with the pineapple and it actually works. At first,
it was like, what? But then I got to give it to Jill, man. She knows what she's doing. Sounds
good. Sounds good. I'd eat it. I would try that. Okay. I heard you try stuff out there,
everybody. You know, go ahead and have some fun. There's so many great local pizza places and
everything. Support local, buy local, including, you know, some of the bigger chains that we mentioned,
they're run by locals. Exactly. Yeah, I'm trying to do that. Arugula and pepperon chimneys.
Yeah, you said that. It's in my head now. That one I got everything I said before about just
see the same type of pizza that I do have to go. And I'm not a big white sauce cap. That sounds
