very much. We got the band back together. Feels good on a Friday. It does. I didn't want to note
that Brittany Marlowe usually joins us in this time slot. She'll be with us a little bit later.
I Monday, I mean, she'll be with us a little later on Monday. So just a couple days. What's
later to you? I mean, you know, three days is later. That is just as a quick side note to just
completely go off script for a second. That is one of the more interesting things with people.
Hey, I'm going to be a little late. What is late to find that? Yes. It's completely different to
others. And I had no idea we had a script. That's interesting like eight years later. Yeah, I meant
to get that. I am so sorry. Jeez, I thought I did that. You have been getting the script in the
morning. I know that Melissa and Seth, though, or they do, and they don't care, which is probably
smart on their part. We got a fun show lined up for you, everybody. Elcafe birthday anniversary

of interesting ones, Terry. How many percent of the percentage of moms that regret the name they
gave their child? Don't ever admit it. No, I don't think you should admit that kind of thing.
Definitely in a blind survey, even in a blind survey, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing something
like that. The don't make mistakes that we can tend to make posting our kids photos online,
new school photos online. I think that's an interesting topic to get into. And one that I don't
pretend to know anything about actually, but I'm interested about it. New trend parents are helping
kids make friends with play date business cards. This is not an onion headline. This is something
we're going to talk about. We will also after our news and sports break get you some free

It's going to be a fun one. That'll be lined up with longest entertainment news. We're going to
talk about Lincoln Park as a new singer. Yellowstone might be returning for a new season, not just the

big screen this weekend? We're getting some of that. And what's worth spending 15 minutes on
every day? It's an interesting discussion going on online to Terry and I are going to dive into

United Way conversation. But real quick, I have to send a gigantic thank you and a heartfelt
thank you to our friends at two hearts team. I'm talking to Lisa and Peter, the whole team over
there. They sent us over a thank you card for our support about the honor flight fundraiser.
And was this really nice of them handwritten card? I don't know. There's certain things my mom
still hits me like really influence beyond this kind of stuff hits me. It was very sweet of them.
Yeah, that is awesome. And it takes just a couple of minutes. I'm a fan of handwritten thank you.
For sure. There is especially when it comes to like certain people like my mom and everything.
That's the way to do it. You could you could have a celebrity thank them and it wouldn't mean as much.
Oh, yeah, that was nice. It was nice to see Carol Burnett. I love her. But card would have been nice.
Card would have been nice. Yeah, this is something I'm learning still at 47. Terry, it is
campaign season for you guys. How are things going with our United Way of Southwood and
Ann's counties? Everything's going great. We did kick off our campaign earlier this week,
which has been fabulous. You know, getting materials out there. Workplaces are starting to get
some plans in place. Some are actually collecting donations from their employees. We also sent out
a great big mailer at the start of the week. And so, you know, really it's it's kind of oddly quiet
for me this week and next because you know, you're just kind of waiting. Yes, you know, the anticipation.
Yes, yes. So it is good. You know, all the planning came off very well. We had a little
hardware failure with some of our with our server last at the end of last week. And it was just,
you know, a lemon part, of course, covered under warranty, but but it did take us out of commission
for a few days. So then that makes you a little nervous. Like, oh my god, this what did we miss?
But unfortunately, I guess, you know, that it happened over the holiday weekend because people
were busy doing other stuff, not necessarily paying attention to us or needing us. So that was
so that was good. So we are all back up and running completely fully functional. We encourage
people to visit our website, you, uswac.org where you can get more information about, you know,
not just about how to give, but, but really why to give, right? What are our, you know,
what are we doing with the dollars that we collected? How did those impact the community?
Because 100% of your donation is reinvested in the community that you donated to.
So I think that's really important, you know, thinking about your friends, family, neighbors in need
that, you know, have something going on that needs support from the community. And also, you know,
of course, kids are back in school this week. And again, a huge shout out to anybody who had
anything to do with stuff the bus, whether you donated supplies or you helped volunteer or,
you know, you made sure that a kiddo was signed up because that's, you know, that's a really
big deal too. We had 947 backpacks distributed, which of course comes at a fairly hefty cost.
So, so we're, you know, we're really very thankful for that and thankful for all who,
who we're part of that. And honestly, already planning for next year.
Right. I imagine, I can imagine. I was talking about my mom a little bit earlier because she's
been on my mind with a campaign season. I know for her, this is usually when she either signed back up
or double checked what was being taken out of her check every year. She worked at McMillan.
I want to say over like 15 years, something like that it was a long amount of time. I apologize
mom for not remembering the exact year. But I know day one, that was one of the first things she did.
She took being a city employee really, you know, to heart. And it was to her one of the ways of
putting back into the community and everything. And I, I know, I don't know exactly what it was,
but I know it wasn't a gigantic amount or anything. But I know that it was, it was impactful to her
and her family and immense something. And she really loved the convenience of it. That part was
really nice for her. Yeah, it is really slick. And so if you are fortunate enough to work at an
employer like the city, like like the example that you gave, you can give through payroll deduction.
But if you don't have that option, we also try to make it super easy. You can give with a credit
or debit card on our website. We also are willing to do quarterly billing. So, you know, sometimes
that's just easier for people. Hey, send me something, you know, quarterly and I'll send you a
check. Or we also have the ability to do ACH. So that would be just like payroll deduction,
except it would just come out of your checking or savings, whichever you prefer. And it can be any
amount. And I think you made a really important point there in that it doesn't have to be hundreds
of dollars, right? It doesn't have to be thousands of dollars. I mean, it can be. But it does not have
to, right? We will not turn it down. But I think, you know, what the important part is is, you know,
James, if you said, well, gosh, I can give $5 a paycheck. And somebody else that I can give $3
a paycheck. And somebody else says I can give $20 a paycheck. The importance is that when all of
that gets rolled up together, you know, we're collectively impacting like 19,000 people in the
community that we serve. So I mean, that's that's significant. And and I think what's what's
probably the most important is if you not away, wasn't there, there would be so many people
falling through the gaps, right? Because that's that's really where we're trying to focus is,
you know, you're maybe just doing fine, but there's one one crisis that happens and it it changes
up, you know, your ability to meet your financial obligations or even, you know, just to think about,
it puts you into kind of the spin, right? Where you can't even think about next week because you're
trying to get through today. And so, you know, that's really where we are trying to, you know,
not always trying to impact. And we call that we call it Alice, which is our asset limited
income constrained employed. So members of our community who are working, maybe really struggling
or maybe just getting by just fine, but have no savings, have no emergency funds. So, you know,
the focus is really on how do we make quality of life better for for everyone in our community.
And honestly, for myself as a donor, if I can do that by throwing in 25, $30 a paycheck,
and I can literally change someone's life because and I just did something simple like change,
maybe a habit of mine or an indulgence of mine, you know, I think that that's really, really
very powerful. I think almost everybody is a business person in a certain sense in the in the idea
that we want, you know, to get our money's worth more bang for your buck, all of these terms. There,
there are few, if any, like the United Way when it comes to this and really knowing that your
dollars and cents are truly making an impact, you guys are a hundred percent transparent,
all these, all the money goes into these things, into these different causes and different programs,
and we see in our community the difference. You, you, I don't like to do comparisons or anything,
but you can compare us to other communities that don't have a United Way or don't have some of
this impact. You see the difference. You, you hit on the, I think the key point that I think of
every campaign season Terry of, well, that parallel universe, everybody likes multi-universe stuff
right now, that universe where we don't have a United Way and how evident it is. And I come from
areas where you don't see some of those things and I know what it's like when you don't have something,
like a wonderfully strong nonprofit in your community that cares about your community and puts
back into your community. It's, it's impactful and this is a, we're going to have a fun campaign
season. We're going to be reminding people of all the great things you guys do over there and
hopefully helping you do even more. Absolutely. And we are, I should also call out because we
are taking them now. We are taking yards for Dave Kearing. So if you, you know, well, that is
right there. So we are registering yards right now. And so if you are elderly disabled,
unable to clean up your own yard for fall and also unable to afford to pay for it, right?
Because we really want to help those who have the greatest, you know, have the greatest need.
And so you can register though. If you participated last year, we've already sent you something.
I'm already stretching. I'm getting ready. You should really have a rating your hand to make it
really look good. So, but you can go ahead and get registered and you can call us between 11am
and 5pm Monday through Friday. And you can simply just dial 211 and you will, the resource
specialist will take a little information from you and get you signed up and on the list so that
we are ready to roll. Last year we did, I think it was 84 yards on that Saturday. So that's
October 26th. So really, you know, looking forward to that. And also if you are in able-bodied
individual already stretching like James, then we encourage you to be part of that movement and help
us get those yards right. Good stretching, everybody. Get ready. It's going to be fun day of

interesting list, Pippa Mill, Middleton is 41, Kate Middleton's sister. I don't know, I know,
I know that name, but I don't know why. I know I just heard her name a bunch, but I don't know why.
I don't know what she's done or anything. I don't mean to be mean here. I thought you might
keep Middleton. I'm like, are you messing with me? Like what? What? Wait, I get this, this Middleton.
Who's this? Yeah, to be honest, I don't care much about the royal family stuff.
Well, you don't have to, but it's still recognized a little bit. It's still recognized, yes,
absolutely. I don't know anything about her sister either, but she still gets a birthday.
Yes, absolutely, absolutely. Nina Pearson is 50 today. The big 50 for the cardigans lead singer and
songwriter cardigans love fool. They had a couple of songs that when we were growing up in high school,
right? They were all right. They're all right. I like her voice. There's a good singing voice.
One of the better actors out there and definitely one of the more handsome ones.
Idris Elba is 52, Heimdell in the Thor movies, Stinger Bell in the Wire. He was Nelson Mandela
in the Mandela movie. He's the voice of Tiger Sheer Khan in the live action jungle book.
One of those actors, I think if you don't know his name, you'd know him when you see him.
And honestly, I think they missed the chance to do this, but I really felt like he would have been
the best next James Bond. I don't really do. Daniel Craig did an amazing job with that role
and left it with all on the field, but they really have to get this one right because they have
a momentum going back to Golden Eye that they want to, you know, franchises are dwindling.
Every one of them. And if you're going to keep it alive, you not only got to do it soon because
they've already had quite a while from the last one, but you really have to hit the mark on this
next Bond because they got fortunate with the last handful they've had. They just keep building.
Yeah, going back to Pierce Bronson even. And obviously Sean Connery, Roger Moore and stuff.
But since that, Timothy Dalton really dropped the ball in the whole franchise kind of fell with him.
It really took a lot for that to come back. Pierce Bronson, Daniel Craig, what they have done,
they've really got to hit the mark with this next one. And I'm looking forward to whoever it is.
Wish it was each yourself, but I think at this point of 52, I don't think they're going to go with an
old Bond. I think they're probably going to go a lot younger, like 20s, 30s, something like that.
Interesting. It seems to be a lot of what they're doing nowadays too, is what's the part of the story
we haven't told yet. I haven't told young Bond starting out what we kind of did, but we need to do
a more. We'll see. We'll see what they do. Macy Gray is 57 speaking of growing up and
is the singer so are you. Good singer. Very unique singer. Macy Gray. I always find that interesting
to me. There's so many people that I don't want to sound mean here sound alike. I just did this
the other day. I thought I was hearing Jennifer Hudson. It was another singer. Macy Gray is a very
unique style of singing, which is interesting because she shares a birthday with Rosie Perez,
who is 60 today, one of the most original voice actors you'll ever hear. I love Rosie Perez.
Great actor. Mark Chestnut is 61, country singer. I don't want to miss a thing. I know he's got at
least one of the two other songs I've heard and played. And I hear he's a great live act. He's
very good live out here. Let's see here. Michael Winslow is 66. I don't know if you remember that
name or not, but that is a throwback to the police academy movies and the sound effect master,
the genius of sound effects. Nobody has still ever done what Michael Winslow did.
I think it was at a unique time. I think you could be famous for something like that back then.
He was also a really funny stand of comedian, but getting into those movies and being the sound
effect guy got him on like the tonight show and stuff. I don't know if now it gets you a TikTok
page or YouTube page. Well, you anybody can get TikTok, but yeah, that's kind of makes me want to
go rewatch those. Yeah, yeah, those are at least the first one is at least the first one. Yeah,
maybe not a police academy 99, right? Where they're just really folding it. Jeff Foxworthy is 66 today.
There are a few people that can start trends at all. Let alone start a trend in comedy.
You know, I don't know. I don't know. Many times we've seen this or heard of this. And it's
interesting to me that there's a last, especially last six, seven months. It's been a lot of
conversation about the rise of country music and the popularity of it and everything. And,
and we don't talk about that with comedy very often. But with Jeff Foxworthy got started there
with you might be a redneck if or whatever got the whole ball rolling with that too. You got
Larry the cable guy and Ron White who is I love Ron White. I love all of his comedy. Can't get
enough of that guy. One of those guys I would love to have interviewed. I love to have interviewed
Ron White. I think it would be fun. That would be, I mean, you need a bleep button. Yeah, yeah. I
think that you still would have heard of these guys and seen these guys, but not maybe to the level
that you did with what Jeff Foxworthy did. And I think it's noteworthy. They're a very funny guy,
and a good, a good writer. Also a good, he did a great job with that sixth grader show too. He was
a good host. Yeah. And a lot of his little phrases though are funny because people don't even know
where they came from. It's just part of their, you know, I mean, it's like just part of their
language. Yeah. The legend, the great Jane Curtin is 77 today. Original set of that live alum,
Kate and Allie. Of course, third rock from the sun. Jane Curtin, you see her. You know her and
God, I love her work. So good. Jane Curtin so much of her career was being the straight man and
being the set up person for, you know, the funny guy and the funny girl or something, but you need
to be just as good a comedy as the person delivering the punchline to be able to do that. She was
amazing and a great writer too. One of wrote a lot of great legendary sketches on SNL that a lot of
people probably wouldn't realize she was one of the writers of. Let's see here. Roger Waters is 81
today and legend of Pink Floyd. David Allen Co is 85 today. Country outlaw. You never even called
me by my name. Take this job and shove it. A handful of big hits for him. And today,
I was no people no longer with us. Another amazing singer and again from our youth, Terry. The
Dolores O'Righ are reared in from the cranberries. Born in 1971, passed away way to younger 2018.
Linger dreams, zombie, ode to my family. Talk about original voices. Oh, yeah, definitely.
What an original voice. Beautiful original voice. I, there's certain people. I don't know if there's
anything she could sing that I wouldn't be like, well, that's beautiful. But, you know, there's
just nothing she could probably do. Evan Rachel Wood will be celebrating a birthday tomorrow.
Dolores on Westworld. A fantastic actor. Wonderful career she has had. The Princess bride,
so many things. Thomas Everett Scott is 54 on Sunday as well. Let's see here. Look at it's a
Saturday birthday. I'm sorry, Saturday birthdays. Oh, Julie Cavner is 74. Marge on the Simpsons.
Yes. Oh, like, who's that? Oh, everybody should know Julie Cavner is. You know,
Marge Simpson. As you say, you should be happy. I know who Marge Simpson is. Yeah, I actually
should be else. Also on Saturday, people that would have been celebrating birthdays,
Buddy Holly, born in 1936, passed away in 1959. Way too young and amazing singer and songwriter.
I don't know that there's enough credit. There's, I think, too much one of the shames of that
horrible day and that horrible plane crash is I feel like these guys like Buddy Holly, Richie's
Valens. It's so much is focused on their passing and not enough on their great careers.
Buddy Holly played the Apollo. Buddy Holly played the Apollo, man. I mean, like, go ahead and try
to top that. Him and the cricket sit in there in Harlem, you know, at the time that they did that.
Some of the stuff that they were like him or Valens did and everything gets lost in the shuffle
because of the horrible way that we lost them. It's a shame. I think on their birthdays,
this is a great day to kind of remember. Hey, they were legends. They were amazing.
They were legends before that happened. I think that's a key part of that.
Pink is celebrating her birthday on Sunday. She'll be 45, which is noteworthy with the career
she's had. She's had a very nice long career. It's also noteworthy if you watch one second of
her live act because she does this stuff where she goes swinging around all over the place while
she's singing. She is doing some regular stretching. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Nice callback.
You were one of the queens of the callback. You were very good at that. Martin Freeman
celebrating the birthday on Sunday. It's well fantastic actor. He's Dr. Watson in the BBC
Sherlock series, Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit movies. He was Jim on the original office.
He's got a really amazing like resume. Martin Freeman, great career, great actor.
Bernie Sanders is 83 on Sunday. One of my uncles, he just reminds me of family members so
botchy really does. And people no longer with us. A bunch of names we got to mention Terry to wrap
up our birthday and anniversary club. The legend of comedy Peter Sellers would have been
celebrating birthday born in 1925. The genius who invented Inspector Clousseau in the pink
panther movies. Of course, the brilliant actor behind Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strange Love.
Peter Sellers did comedy different than anybody. Did comedic acting different than anybody. Just
incredible actor. And one of the guys that paved the way for him. One of my Papa's favorite actors
and comedians of all time. The great Sid Cesar born in 1922. Wonderful old school comedian Coach
Calhoun in Greece. The caveman in history of the world. Part one. The wonderful, my favorite role
that he did. He was in silent movie. And he was the chef in silent movie. Mel Brooks. Mel Brooks
used him a lot. Great actor. And I don't know if it's Billy Holiday or it's Patsy Klein, but it's
one of them. My favorite voice of all time. Patsy Klein born in 1932 on Sunday. Country legend. You
cannot tell the history of country music without Miss Klein. Jimmy Rogers also considered by many,
the father of country music born in 1897. Sorry, Mr. Rogers made him. I was just trying to make him
younger. Jimmy Rogers, one of the kings of and the fathers of country music will would have been
celebrating a birthday on Sunday. That's another good one to mention. And that is going to wrap up our
birthday in anniversary club. And a pretty good list today. Oh, got a big list today. I need
the drink of water. And we need to celebrate all of these great people with birthdays and

great stand-up guy too. But that's the thing. I come back to that show. And the first thing I think of
is the, the crazy difference of Bob Sagitton full house or Bob Sagitton America's funniest home
videos. And then Bob Sagitt, the stand-up comedian, which was a very, very, very different Bob
Sagitton, which actually was a struggle, a struggle for him in his career where he'd go, you know,
in off season, he's touring is a stand-up comedian, everything. He wasn't making that much money
at full house. And he'd have people come to his shows. Oh, we're going to see, you know, Danny Tanner
or whatever. Like this family friendly. Yeah. Yeah. Spoiler alert. No, not that, not what Bob did.
He was, but he was so good at those roles and, and gone way too y'all. And I thought it would be a good
one to play as we're getting kids ready for school. And these kind of TV shows remind us of the TGI
Fridays and how big that was. You know, when Fuller House came out though, you know, not that long ago,
all the kids just love that. Like my kids were teenagers at the time. And Dave, I think they've
watched that thing through like three times. I can see that. It was a great show. And really
impressive how it, it shows how big the show was that it could come back like that and be successful.
Yeah. And, well, and almost everyone came back too. I think that makes a difference. Yeah. Matt,
we appreciate you, man. Oh, go ahead. I don't think Laurie McLaughlin came back. No, you're right.
You're right. You're strong. Correct.
Strong point. This is very strong point. Sorry. Sorry about your favorite. Yeah. Yeah. That's

Welcome back to the show. Morning show here at WFHR 975 FM 1320 AM. Terri and James hanging out
with you. Everybody. Thanks so much for joining us. Little 90s to play us in reminding me of
unlabeled. I've got a new episode to well, I got it written. I just got to record it.
So hopefully I'll get that in this weekend by Sunday. That'd be a good idea. Well, yeah,
it feels like a good idea. It feels like it. My week has been too. Just like total chaos.
I normally get a couple of the tracks recorded throughout the week. We have had so much going on
behind the scenes this week and me personally have it just haven't gotten an in. So Seth and I
are going to be recording a new director's cut after we're done doing midday magazine today.
And after that, I will be working on unlabeled. It's like you're just chasing your tail.
It does. You spin in plates. You spin in plates in this job. Bob had a right a long time ago.
Did your parents have it right when they named you? That was the closest I could do to transition.
I apologize. What's the matter? What are my better ones? Some parents spend months deliberating
potential baby names. Others pull a name out of thin air or maybe it's a tradition and they pass
it down lots of different ways. Maybe they heard it on TV. Could have been that could have been
that in a new survey, 9% of mothers, 9% admit that they have regretted the name that they gave
their child and 10% say their kids name just doesn't fit their personality. 15% of moms have had
people negatively critique or mock their child's name. Of course, you can always makes like
slight tweaks at early or at least early on. 20% of mothers say that they have grown to
prefer a nickname, whether it's a shorter version of the name or a different name altogether,
and 15% say that they prefer their kids' middle name. 6% of moms have gone as far as to legally
change their child's first name. How do more put this on the moms? Thank you for that. First of all,
yeah, because I saw this and I don't know if it's you. Actually, we probably take it more to
heart than you know what I mean. Maybe. I could see either way. I think that names mean a lot,
especially to the certain people in certain cultures and certain areas, but I think overall,
especially if we're talking about the whole world, I'm focused in on America. That's where the survey
was done. Yeah, moms probably do take it more than hard. I'm just thinking like dads are like,
okay, we agreed on the name, we picked it, it's done, right? Like it is what it is. I don't know,
I feel like maybe not as much. They don't waste as much time second guessing. Yes, yeah,
that's a great way to put it, I think. And I agree with you on your sentiment right there, Terry,
because I see this and I think that a lot of people, especially the article here at BabyCenter.com,
focuses on the 9 to 10% and that being a lot, I think that's pretty impressive that it's only that
many. Good Lord. Don't ever admit that. No, no, you imagine looking at you, I should have never
made you named you Tyler. I should have done what he's talking about. Do you imagine your parents?
I should have never named you James. Now, obviously, you know my story with
my dad wanted to name me and I spent a good portion of my youth growing up with my dad telling me
that story all the time. I could see that. I could see Vincenzo as a name. Yes, I agree with you
there. But I think about like the names of my kids and like my son, JC, he didn't have a chance.
It was tradition. We named the first boy James. That's what we do in the family. And so his name was
given, but his middle name, Kevin, my ex-wife chose and I love his middle name. I love the name
Kevin. I think it's very unique and it fits him. He's a cabin. I think he's more James
and a cabin, but I think he's James cabin more than anything. And different, he's a young man
still. He's only 27, but he's got different points in his life gone by cabin more than James.
And sometimes like right now, he goes by James more than Kevin. I get that. I didn't do the same
thing, but every James, I was the fourth James and every James went by Jim. And I was just not
going to do that. I was going to be James. I didn't feel like a Jim. I never at one point in my
life felt like a Jim. And I don't think anybody who looks at me thinks of me as a Jim. I'm a James.
Two certain members of my family and certain friends. I'm Jimmy. Certain people get away with that,
but not many. We have that in our family too. Like my grandfather or actually everyone called him
pa. Like everyone did, but he was a James. And then my dad is Jim. My brother is Jimmy.
I mean, but to two other adults, not his family, he's also Jim. But then his son is James.
Same. He is James. He is. Interesting. Yeah. So it is interesting. But I think to, you know,
where in the story there, you said that, you know, some moms prefer the short, a shortened version
or something like that. Don't you feel like sometimes names are like you give them a proper name,
so to speak, but then use a shortened version or a nickname version when they're younger. Yeah.
Or, you know, I also think it's weird to say their name doesn't fit their personality because happy
when they're first, but when they're two seconds old, how do you know what they're personality?
You know what I mean? Like it's, I mean, there's certain things that, yeah, stand out. But really,
the personality is not going to be through until they're 20s probably. I mean, you know,
they're like, yeah, it's, it's, it's way too young to be kind of judging on these things. And
I think what name is what you make it? You know, they tend to do these things. Like I said,
with my son, he made his name his own thing. The shortening of a name or the nickname thing,
part of what sold me on his, on his name is that, oh, I can call him JC. And that's what I've
called this whole life. One of my nephews is JJ. And he, I mean, I don't even think they cared
necessarily what the J's were for. They just wanted, they knew they wanted to call him JJ. So
they were like, well, we got to come up with some names for these J's. But, but it is, it is
kind of interesting. The idea to that you, you know, just, you can always call my nickname, right?
Like any, any kid, but yeah, I don't know. The personality thing. I think for there was a time,
though, yeah, I don't know. Maybe, I don't, maybe 10 years ago, it seemed like every name I heard,
every baby name was like, people weren't trying to outdo people for, for something more eccentric,
or more made up. I don't, like, it just, there were some really strange names for
all certain, certain people are trying way too hard. And by that, I mean celebrities. And that
part gets a little annoying. And now you hear a lot of old, well, what I consider older names,
but like, especially little girls, like you hear, like Ruth and Nora and, you know, I think
they're sweet. They're, I like that too. I love that. So Fiya, that those names coming back,
it's part of why we chose Isabella for our daughter is that this is a beautiful name, I think,
in a classic. It's a throwback, but it's a classic. Some of this came about because Shaquille
O'Neill's mom came out and said she wasn't sure if she didn't, she didn't name him Shaquille.
And I find that so interesting because he's such a shack. We, we, that name seems to fit him.
So is unique as that name is. And I don't know that a lot of people, other than maybe his kids,
could pull that name off. I can't imagine him being a Dave. Yeah, I can't imagine, like,
he said, don't fit him. Like that's Shaquille. That, you know, that is true. It's a fun thing about it,
but I don't, I also don't think it's one of those things to get too overworked up about.
Yes. Yeah. Well, there's plenty of other things you can waste your energy on.
Use your energy on, but it is, but it is funny too once they kind of get their own wings under them.
You know, like, they have a longer name and they're called a nickname, but they want a different
form of that nickname. You know, you don't need like that kind of thing. Or our daughter Grace,
she, she does not like being called Gracie. And it's very funny because people call her that.
And I'm like, well, just, just correct them. Yeah. I mean, just say, you know, I'd prefer,
she's, and she doesn't because she just won't, but it is, but you know, it is kind of funny when,
when you kind of, they kind of come into their own and they're like, no, I'd rather be called this.
I like Gracie. I do like that. Yeah. She does not care for it. I don't blame her. Don't blame her,
but you know, I do, I personally, I think that's a good one. I think that one of the things,
especially to keep in mind here is maybe don't name your kid turquoise. You know,
maybe just maybe, I'm not saying that you have to be quote unquote boring or anything like that.
You can have some personality too. How about you Holland for short? Turk. I don't know. And that doesn't
seem good. Oh, coins, actually, coins, not bad. Coise is not bad. Yeah. I can see a little girl
coisy. Yeah, I can see that. I can, I feel like though, especially with as soon as you give the name
to the baby, it's a baby. Like I've never, I don't know what I've never seen a dog like baby.
Like their kids are just cute. And they like almost any name you can kind of put the E N on the
Y and I just kind of make it a little more sing song. You know, but then there's also still just
middle school, right? When you've always known a kid by a certain name, and they get called for
attendance, like the first week until the nickname kicks in. You know, and they're getting called
whatever. It is, especially when you have a name and the teacher doesn't know how to pronounce it
and whatever that teacher pronounces it as they just call you that. That's you've never not
watched. You might as well legally change your name in school. That's the other thing we do with
names that is so funny to me is one of the first things we think of with a name is, well, how can
they make fun of that? How can school kids make fun of that name? That's one of the first thoughts
as parents immediately. That's an interesting part of it. I think another interesting thing
happening right now and certainly speaks to modern times. Kids are heading back to school,
which means our social media feeds are getting flooded with back-to-school picks.
And there are some tips from security experts on how you keep your kids safe when posting.
This is completely out of my world. My kids were right on, almost maybe the last generations that
you didn't really have to think of these things with social media and post-nates things.
I talk about my kids, I would be one of these parents, not only posting first-day picks,
but having my kids dad, you're embarrassing me, that kind of thing. I would definitely. While
my kids, I didn't go through this, I empathize with this quite a bit. I think it's a very different
world and especially for those of us that aren't dealing with this, it's really important to learn
about these things. It's not only interesting, but an education part. So here are those tips from
those security experts. Don't show your kids face. According to experts, if you're going to post
pictures of your kids, put an emoji over their face or any other identifying info,
like if your school's name or logo is on the uniform. Don't share info about your routine or
home address. That means no photos in front of your house number or in front of your kids bus stop.
Don't share details about their interests. Those back to school boards, kids hold up in pictures
for their kids in a new grade, can reveal a lot of personal information, like the name of their
school, their age or hobbies. And finally, don't make the post-viewable to strangers. Do you know
every single person following you on social media accounts? Most of us don't. So either go through
your friends list or remove any that you're not 100% on or better yet, keep those back to school
photos in the family group chat or email threads. Keep them on the download. Now, I think that last
part is maybe the one that you really need in this when it comes to these things. I also think it's
got to be noteworthy. We are normalizing what we have to protect. Yeah, it is. It's really kind of a
sad thing, isn't it? But at the same time, you know, it is these are really smart, smart things to
have out there. And you know, like those little boards, and you probably aren't even familiar with
these, but you've probably seen people post them, right? Like it says, you know, my name is this,
and I'm in this grade, and they're super cute. And, you know, I want to be this one I grow up
and stuff, but, but it creates a, you know, if somebody is whatever, running to a,
abduct a child, right? Like it creates this false sense of security for the, for the kid, right?
If this adult walks up and says, you know, whatever, oh, yeah, you know, your mom told me this,
you know, there, this about them, and they know all these things about this kid. The kid is,
likely, why wouldn't you trust that person, right? Like it's so, it's really sad that we have to
do. That's the other thing, you know, aside from this, this is for school, but just thinking
about social media and what you're posting, you know, vacation, post your vacation pictures
after your home. Don't post them while you're, while you're in, while you're traveling, you know,
it signals a whole bunch of, a whole bunch of things, like A and empty house, you know, there's,
there's just so many, it's just unfortunate. What is meant to be a fun way to share things with
the people that you are connected with and that you care about just turns ugly quickly?
I have a number five. I would like to add to this list. Let's be better. Let's be better as a society,
let's call, like, keep our eyes open, making sure that we're, you know, people that are,
are going to be taking advantage of these things that we can not only find them, but get them off
of social media, get them out of our society in our communities. There is a certain topics in life
to me that are black and white. And anybody messing with a child in any certain way, there is,
it's a black and white situation to me. There is no gray area there. And we need to be better as
a society, not only keeping an eye out for these things, helping our officers, helping other people
because they can't see everything. They can't be everywhere. And also being not only smart for
ourselves, smart for our kids, but taking notes because this isn't the way the world has to be.
It just is that way. It doesn't have to stay that way. We can make it better. We got to work together
to do that. And we can do that. This is not, oh, jeez, we just need to throw our hands up in the
air. And, well, we just need to do these four things here from now on. And actually, we'll have
some other ones to add on next year or this or that. No, we, this is, this is in our power. We can
control this. We can have something to do about this and be better and be better, more vigilant about
these things. And we can also have dogs, Terry, because we will wrap up the segment on a high,
on a laugh. Like I like to do. I know I got a little serious there. I apologize, but it was
an important topic and I appreciate going over that with everybody, especially you, Terry,
because you know what you're talking about with some of this stuff. Your, your kids being younger
and everything in school and stuff. So I wouldn't know some of those things. Everyone loves
Chris Stapleton, right? I mean, it's very comfortable saying that. I don't know. I've heard
anybody, especially in the Sunrise show when I get your song requests and everything. Everybody,
every other call seems to be a Chris Stapleton call or something like that. Man has a unique
style to him, not only in his voice, but his writing, big fan, but it's not surprising that Chris
Stapleton would also be big, very big with animals and dogs in particular. House full of kiddos,
you know, no one seems to love Mr. Stapleton more than this dashed hound. All it takes is one note
in his hailing away. And if that dog is ever looking to start a band, there's a super talent to
cat the place keyboards as well that we've seen on the internet a handful of times, but I want to
play this for you right here. I'm gonna see whiskey by Chris Stapleton. All right, Tennessee whiskey by Chris
Stapleton from Josh's Spotify. Every time that song plays. But he's the cutest. What is ears for
a pickup? Yeah, you know, it was one of those like, do I hear what I think I hear? Yeah, wait a minute.

So good. It was so good. I feel so cute. I encourage you to find the that online. It's just
basically dog singing to Chris Stapleton. You know, find what makes your dog how old? Yeah,
yeah, there you go. There you go. I actually like the idea of like trying different songs for your
dog and see which one they like the dog just being like, no, no, whoa, no, no, that didn't do it for me.
It's a really picky dog. That's what is fabulous. This is too good. I want to do this one more time
too, actually. I don't know if I can get it to play another. Here we go. I want to see, actually,
I want to be in charge of that like testing like testing songs out for dogs. Dog testing? Yes, I
