she's definitely our singer. She's definitely the singer. I don't know. She knows that yet. I'm not
sure she's aware of that. We have an indoctrinated band. We'll have to figure that out with her

It does look like we might we have a chance of seeing a little bit of Florey's this weekend.
Is that the case? Yeah, that is the case, especially this afternoon. Right around 11 to
noon or so we could see some Florey's flying around and then turning to more scattered snow showers
possibly because the winds are pulling off of Lake Superior. That's the benefit of the cold,
right? I mean, it feels like 17 below right now at the wind chill. We're sitting at negative four.
How do we deal with the cold? Well, a little bit of snow from Lake Superior. So a lot of the
Northern counties will see these scattered snow showers out and off today. But then by tomorrow,
it's going to stay more into the snow belts. Ashland Bayfield, the U.P. and we'll be left alone.
High pressure builds in this weekend. We see bright and beautiful sunny skies for Saturday,
few more clouds building in for Sunday. That's because those temperatures are going to crank up
to the 30s and the next system hits next week. So what that means for us is temperatures in the
teens for the rest of this weekend. It'll feel more like zero today. It will start to feel more like
12 tomorrow and then Sunday you're going to feel that warmer air as the winds are to gust out of
the south on Sunday, pumping us up to maybe 20 degrees in the 30s. Heat wave.
We have a bit out. Look ahead until the storm hits next week. Yes. Yeah. But we're not bad and not
a bad weekend and seeing better temperatures on the rise. Certainly, I don't know, gives you
something to look forward to sort of. I'm reaching here. I'm reaching. I admit I'm reaching.
But it's something. You know, for me, it has to stay cool enough next week so that that storm is
snow and rain. Yeah. I'm just asking. Okay. Good. Yeah. There's a high pressure that wants to build
in over Ontario. And if it does that and if it stays strong enough, which I'm starting to see
indicated on these models, that would keep us at least below freezing. So staying away from the
rain and the ice from us. And if it builds in strong enough, maybe it'll keep all of that
floppiness to Illinois. They can have three of them in a row. Speaking my language,
just the past. I mean, Jesus kind of pouting on my state. Oh, we, uh, and I hear you,
Brittany. Yeah, you're right. You're right. You're right. They can take it. We appreciate the

It is America's favorite night for pizza. That is our opening story, Terry.
So at Friday night, a night for family for family still like a lot of families have dinner
on Friday night. Sometimes it's Sunday nights, that kind of thing. But Pizza Hut's annual pizza report
found Friday is the most popular day of the week to order pizza.
Well, I suppose, you know, honestly, sometimes I get to the end of the week and I'm like,
I'm not making supper. So, you know, grabbing pizza, that sounds like a plan.
Seems like it. I also think that, well, I'm going to be honest. I don't know if there's a bad
day for pizza to me. I don't think that there really is. So yeah, I'm fine with that.
I do agree. And you know, since you said it was Pizza Hut's story, like those are my favorite
breadsticks. I love Pizza Hut breadsticks. I always have. I don't know.
Pizza Hut breadsticks are the best breadsticks. Yeah, my favorite. Period. I will order pizza
just for the breadsticks. I'll be completely honest. You know, this was a million years ago,
but like when we were in college, that kind of that first summer that we all of our,
you know, we were all back home for the summer. It was almost every Sunday night. We would actually
go to Pizza Hut. And that's all we would order. It's just like breadsticks and the soda. And
there were like six of us girls. And we just catch up on the weekend. You know what I mean?
What everybody did and all that. So yeah, something about those breadsticks.
Here are a few stats on America's pizza eating habits, including the worst possible toppings to try.
The average person has pizza three times a month and eats a total of eight slices.
The top pizza eating states are North Dakota, New York, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
I had a feeling that Wisconsin was going to be in the top five or at least at like six or seven.
Yeah, I was thinking maybe top 10. Yeah, yeah. You put the combination of cheese, you know,
and the fact that a lot of people don't realize all the different, like kind of toppings and
different weird kind of combinations you could have until you like kind of go shopping at Wisconsin.
You go to grocery store in Wisconsin. You see all the different types of pizzas and cheeses and
different things. Thin crust is now our favorite type. What is wrong with you people?
Getting 28% of the vote. Are you Italian? You're just going to tell us.
I'm just going to be honest about this. The stuffed crust is next with 20% and then thick crust is
14%. Do you have a preference here? You know, honestly, we usually end up with hand toss
in our house just because not everyone agrees. Oh, yeah, yeah. And so it's just kind of the meat
in the middle. Like I love deep dish, but that's never happening because I'm not eating a whole
pizza by myself. So if I happen to go somewhere or you know, we go somewhere and someone has
pizza and there's that, I always gravitate to that. But I'm also fine with thin. To me,
it kind of depends on the toppings. You know, like what's on it? What kind of crust I would have
with it? So I don't care. For me, it's to each the wrong, but to me, it's my favorite part of the
pizza is the crust. And thin crust, you don't get a big crust. You don't get that bone at the end of
the food meal. Yeah, I agree. And I'm not. I have nothing. I don't have anything against it,
but I'm not a huge fan of stuffed crust. Like to me, that's just a novel, you know, like,
yeah, it was fun when I was a teenager, like when it first came out, I liked it. Otherwise,
I'd be like, whatever. Yeah, again, it just takes away from the crust, which I love. The most
popular thing to dip it in is ranch. So we like to dip our pizza and ranch, follow closely by
garlic sauce. Hot sauce is a distant third. Oh, and I, if I was going to dip, it would just be like
in like pizza sauce. Yeah, marinara. Yeah, yeah. Like that's what I would dip it. It already tells
you what to dip it in marinara. Like, yeah, I love marinara. Now, a New York style is the most
popular type of pizza, followed by Chicago style. Only three states prefer something else,
Detroit style in Michigan, St. Louis style in Missouri, and people in California, supposedly
prefer California style pizza. So like if you're just a rural Wisconsin person, how do you know what
Detroit style pizza is? They have the sauce on top of the pizza, I suppose, but yeah, yeah, I know,
I know. Like really? Everybody has tried something different with these things.
I, yeah, yeah. The most frequently ordered topping is still pepperoni, but what's
muzz? But what's something that should never be allowed on pizza? The top answers were fish,
beets, blueberries, plums, and kiwi. Where do you get these people? Who are these people that you
ask? Yeah, I really don't eat pizza. The PR newswire, I have some follow-up questions for the team
over there. Yeah, this is where this article goes. No, this is not real pizza. I love fruit pizza,
you know, that you make with like a sugar cookie crust, and it's not real pizza. That's where that
fruit belongs. It doesn't go on there. Although I do, I am a sucker for a Hawaiian pizza. I like
that ham and pineapple, and I like to add some onion. I like that. Okay, I didn't expect that,
I don't know. Okay, interesting. I can't think of a, I think that the traditional stuff is all
become kind of niche now. I hear a lot of people like olives and chowis and things like that,
other pizzas, not me, but I do not like pepperoni. I love pepperoni. It's so greasy. If all you
gave me was pepperoni, the rest of my life, I'd be fine. I'd be fine. I'd be okay. I'd make it.
I love it. No. Love it. It's a more for me. Last stat. One in four think a pizza-flavored cocktail
sounds like something they would try. It's not just a Bloody Mary. It's pretty real. Let's be honest
about this. Especially now that you get all this toppings and stuff on the Bloody Mary,
you get a whole garden with it. I love the idea. I want to see where this takes us, where how far
this goes, because you go to any bar, it not just in Wisconsin, but I'm just saying Wisconsin,
because we're here, but you go to any bar, and they've probably probably got a Bloody Mary. They
probably got a famous or a good Bloody Mary, and they did something with it. There's a cheesecake
on top of it, or a whole turkey, or something like that. I can't wait to see where this goes. I
want to see how far people go with it. I mean, you can easily take a slice of pizza and put it
on a skewer, right? It just happened to be tucked into that Bloody Mary. I want to see. I
really challenge the bars. I want to see a complete Thanksgiving dinner on top of the Bloody Mary.
I want to see how far can they take us. Yeah, I don't think that's going to balance. Well,
maybe just a drumstick. There you go. There you go. That counts. That counts.
Yeah, I think you're right, though. I think we already have this, right? They're pretty
much already have this pie piece of flavored cocktail. We're going to take a quick time out. We'll

and just a little bit to talk about the winter farmers market
opening back up at the Moravian Church.
I'm curious about what products
they're featuring this time of year.
That might be, because when you hear farmers market,
you think, I think, fresh produce.
So I'm curious to hear what local
kind of goods are available.
We're looking forward to diving into that.
This is interesting.
A chef on TikTok is going viral
for his grocery shopping hack.
His name is Will Coleman.
And earlier this month, his six to one grocery shopping method
went viral.
The idea is when you're making your
grocery shopping list or you're at the grocery store,
you should aim to get six vegetables,
five fruits, four proteins, three starches,
two sauces, or spreads, and one fun thing for yourself.
So should I do that again?
It sounds really smart, but how do I remember that?
I need a little cheat sheet.
That's what you, I just read it and I already forgot it.
Make a little laminated card to put your purse in it.
It's already gone, just into either.
Six vegetables, five fruits, four proteins,
three starches, two sauces, or spreads,
one fun thing for you in a partridge in a pear tree.
Super smart.
I think it's smart.
It seems good.
It's supposed to make grocery shopping easier and faster,
help save you money, and it challenges you to make more
home-cooked meals with a variety of ingredients.
I like it. I like it.
I like this. Yeah.
He says the method works regardless of your family size
or whether you're on a special diet like keto
or anything like that. Or what your budget is, right?
Right. Because yeah, I think that's cool.
You can adapt it to your needs.
And the budget part is really important to me about this, Terry.
I like that you said that.
To me, we all want to eat healthier,
but one of the things that holds a lot of people back is price.
Just point break.
It holds a lot of people back.
I think the idea of this might not only encourage people
to be able to do more, but find out how you can create more,
what you can create and what you can do with your food.
I think one of the most fun things creatively you can do is,
you know, hey, I got these in this and this.
I'm going to make this out of it.
I love seeing cooks work.
I love seeing people that like to cook come up within create.
Well, in this too, regardless of if you're intentionally
dieting, I think this, it would force me to eat healthier.
You know, like there's, he's not saying what you have to buy in those.
And so, but it seems like it's less processed food.
And so if your focus is fruits and veggies first,
I don't know. I like it.
I'm going to try it.
Let's pilot this for a couple of weeks.
I think so.
And then we'll regroup on it.
I think we should.
I like that.
I think we definitely should do that.
But you're going to need to send me that because I can't remember.

Let's go ahead and dive into this one real quick, Terry,
before we get too far ahead.
So we got some nerd news, some fun news, science news.
Here's a quick rundown of some science news.
Rumors have swirled this week that the James Webb telescope
has found alien life and that NASA is getting ready to announce it.
But it sounds like it's a bit overblown.
There's a planet 120 light years from us called K218B
that could have life on it.
Last fall, we found evidence of Dmylith sulfite
in the atmosphere.
On Earth, it's a molecule only made by living things,
especially microscopic plants in the ocean.
So that's where the rumor is based on.
They have technically found some form of life
or the residents of life on this planet K2.
That's a hundred 20 light years away.
Just it's not the little green guys coming down.
It's not the day the Earth stood still.
Yeah, but it's still evidence.
It's still proof that the only problem is we don't care anymore.
We already did this.
We announced like a year or two ago that we've found alien life
that we have found you if we have unidentified flying objects.
The government has even not owned this and everything.
And what happened?
Nothing.
Nobody cares.
Nobody's excited anymore.
I know, it's really a letdown.
It really bothered me.
Kind of sad.
I think it's very sad.
Remember that show V?
Yo, yeah, V.
Oh, that's so good reference.
Needed to glasses.
I love how there was a sea sip of like every day glasses
that you could throw out and then you could tell.
But that was it.
So this alien race has this master plan to come here,
take over and God help us if they have sunglasses.
Like, oh no.
Well, I mean, it is worse.
It's a whole new level.
That is interesting.
I thought that was a pretty interesting article.
I wanted to touch on that.
In pet news, a study found small dogs
might live longer than bigger dogs
because they're less susceptible to certain diseases
like cancer.
And an article made the rounds on how cats like to be a,
like to be pet a little harder
than a lot of non-cat people think,
especially around their head and face.
I'm just getting a visual of something like
really petting a cat like really hard.
Yeah, you might not want to go too hard
because they will let you know cats have
a fun way of doing that.
Actually, I, this isn't surprising though.
So cats right around their ears,
that little kind of spot, they love that.
Not too rough, but they love it a little rougher
right in those spots.
I've never met a cat that doesn't love that spot
right there rubbed.

The grand re re re opening.
For those that didn't know,
we were going to do this last week actually.
We're going to have you in last week
and be able to do this.
We're unable to with the weather and everything.
But we're here now.
We're able to open this up.
It opens back up to mile from nine to one.
Yes, nine to one.
We're going to have the farmers market.
We're growing.
We have a variety of vendors with eggs, meats,
sauces.
Hopefully our greens will be there.
There'll be crafts.
And of course, some ready to eat food
so that it makes it fun.
Yeah.
Things like that.
So we're excited.
There'll be some snacks and coffee.
Some juice.
Oh, free.
We have free popcorn.
So very cool.
Don't want you to be hungry.
So got a variety of ways.
To keep you happy and satisfied.
And when you mentioned the type of vendors there, Mike,
how many different vendors are there going to be?
Well, we have 15 confirmed vendors now.
We have another three or four that we're hoping will show up.
I haven't heard quite yet.
You know, they cover the range of things with eggs, meats,
and sauces.
As I mentioned, possibly some greens be crafts.
We have a soap manufacturer of soaps in there.
If an area was custom, waterfall soaps.
We have great people over there.
We have some great foods like mooner's fry pies
and crab raccoons and egg rolls.
Everybody loves those.
Yeah, yeah.
And one of our vendors sells eggs and it'll be selling broilers.
So we're excited.
Yeah, it should be a good year.
With the opportunity to have an extra week to reopen too,
maybe able to kind of relax a little bit and really set this up and get
stretch your legs a little bit and really be able to get things where you want them.
I know the last time we had Beth in and we were talking about the farmer's market,
we also wanted to make sure people knew that there was room.
We've got room for more vendors.
If you're a vendor out there listening, we want you to be a part of things here.
Yes, absolutely.
Right now we have a space for about 25 in the base.
We could actually get a little bit more upstairs.
We can make this a multi-level event, which is fine.
We have elevators as an addition to the stairs.
It's a good thing to mention that too.
Thank you for that, Mike.
Yeah, we can get you know, people can get around.
We have to have handicap bathrooms.
So try to make this a nice place to come.
Yeah, and we also want to make sure that people know that there are door prizes.
There is a door prize before door prize baskets coming up.
That's pretty nice.
That's a nice addition to this.
That's nice, are you guys?
Yeah, well, it's an event.
We have to have something special going on for people.
First 50 persons will get a free Moravian reusable shopping bag.
So something that you can carry your goods out in.
Something not only to be helpful that day,
but in the future, we reusable shopping bags are one of those things,
especially, I don't know why, but especially in winter,
we're going to find so many uses for.
You'll use it that day.
In a guarantee, you're going to use it plenty of times after that.
You may even be able to use it when the book event happens,
whether we have our great book sale over this.
Yes, we first had them there, you know,
and they're normally 250 for a bag,
but you know, we're going to have a little promotion here.
Very cool, or you can get it for free.
That's awesome.
That's going to be great.

Mike, we mentioned a handful of the vendors
and different things that are going to be there.
Is there anything that stands out to you

Oh, we're excited about some of our new vendors.
We have a seafood vendor's going to be there,
selling seafood.
We do have a spoke house barbecue.
Actually, it's a food truck, but he'll be serving inside.
He kind of likes that idea of not having to be out in the cold truck, you know.
Smart guy, smart man, man.
You know, so a few things like that are happening.
Of course, the JNS family farms that do the eggs
and the broiler chickens are new.
We'll have some of our, one of our new vendors
is going to be a Joanne Kaiser that does no walk.
I think it's Norwalk products.
It's some interesting products.
We have Sensei will be there.
We have a cutlery supplier as well as some of our normal vendors
like Melisolces and Sonny Farms.
Nice variety.
Got a real variety there of different types of vendors.
Try to make it interesting.
Yeah, that's, you know, we want this to be something
somewhere people want to come, talk to their friends,
something interesting to do on Saturday morning.
Can't do this at Wally World.
No, no, you can't.
No, not only can you not do that, you can't support local like this.
That this is the definition of supporting local
or winter farmers markets.
That's right.
There's so many great items there and so many unique items there.
And locally made, local businesses, local people.
It is again, the definition of supporting local.
And having the variety there, I hope encourages other vendors
also to reach out and knowing, oh, this would be a good fit for me.
This would be a place that I could go and sell my goods.
Yeah, as I've contacted vendors half, you know,
most of the time it's like, oh, we didn't know that existed.
Yeah, awareness is three quarters of the job here.
It's, you know, both with the people to come to the market
and with vendors knowing there's a place they can come.
Well said.
And that's why we asked the best listeners and radio

Advertising is great and it does wonders.
But we all know that word of mouth goes farther than we could ever reach.
