7000apart vocalist Amelie Eiding tapped as voice of Swedish Snow White
Max Ink Radio · Sat Mar 29, 2025
Brought brandy cow chips in great local music. This is Maxing radio. We are local music.
Lights go down. That's 7,000 a part. Maxing on civic media. We are local music.
You know, normally we do a double dip to kick off the top of the hour rocker.
But we got to pause the double dip because we got a backstage report brother.
We do Jimmy. You know, the band 7,000 a part. We just heard there from green bay.
But I'm a Lee. She's part of the band. They're a duel and she is from Sweden.
So the band takes off every year and heads to Sweden for like six months, right?
And then they're out of contact with us. But they came back to Wisconsin.
They are playing an apple tonight at the Northland. And she gave me word that next week,
a Disney movie is coming out snow white and the Swedish version of snow weight.
Emily is snow white. What? So we're going to ask her about that.
And we're going to hear a little update from the band backstage up in Northland.
Emily, welcome to Maxing radio.
Thank you so much. Hey, guys.
Oh, we are doing great tonight. It's Saturday night.
And we're so happy that you're back in Wisconsin.
We hope to get you into the studio here. But I thought this would be a real treat
to hear from you about your big news.
Tell us about being the Swedish voice of snow white.
Yeah, absolutely. You know, it's a dream come true.
I've been doing voice acting since I was a little kid.
And you know, the dream has always been to do a Disney princess one day.
And you know, I was getting a little older and I was like, you know what?
Maybe it's not going to happen.
But I was able to say with that, you know,
I know that it isn't really cool parts in my life.
But then in December,
I got to have to come in and do a voice test for snow white in the new snow white movie.
Wow.
That is amazing.
What's your favorite part?
What's your favorite part of snow white?
The songs are incredible.
Being able to like, originate them in Swedish is so cool.
And then also doing you know, a new take a new fresh take on like whistle white work, you know, the classic.
So yeah, it's so cool.
Let me get this straight.
So you're not only just doing the talking parts, then you're also singing the songs.
I am. Yeah.
Which is just so amazing.
Wow.
The new songs are written by some of my favorite musical theater songwriters.
And so yeah, it was a big deal for me.
Where did you record that?
Did you record that like from your home studio?
Or did you have to like go to LA or something?
No, but the write down sound stoppers.
So that's my old studio.
I've been doing voice acting for a long time.
And yeah, so I think 18 hours back in January February that we recorded.
Well, it's so cool.
It was so fun.
Well, the Swedish version of Snow White be released here in the States.
Perhaps with some subtitles or something like that.
Because I would love to watch it.
Yes.
Yes.
It's so fun.
Yeah, it's going to be, we hope at least it's going to be on the Disney plus version.
So once it comes to Disney plus, you should be able to choose Swedish audio and then English subtitles.
And you'll be able to listen to it.
Wow. That is just so exciting.
What is 7,000 apart up to these days?
Yeah, right now we're at a show.
We're setting up.
We're starting here in an hour.
And then in, and then we're also running a Kickstarter campaign for our next album right now.
So that's, we only have 60s left.
And we have quite a bit to go.
But we're doing our absolute best to get that goal.
Very excited.
How long are you in Wisco for?
Another week.
Another week in like two days.
So then we head back to Sweden for until late May.
And soon as late May comes around, we'll be getting again.
Well, tell everybody how they can participate in your Kickstarter program.
Yes.
So you just have to go to 7,000apart.com, that's 7,000afeart.com.
And at the top, there's a big button that says, take me to the Kickstarter.
And yeah, just click that and you'll be way well on your way.
It's not donations.
It's just a few, if you want a little CD or a little hoodie, maybe you want a vinyl.
There's some really cool, cool merch there.
And I'm so happy with the merch designs.
So yeah, definitely take it out.
You said the magic word for me, vinyl.
Oh, you're a vinyl man.
Jimmy loves record collectors.
I'm not a collector, but I love buying vinyl.
I love listening to the vinyl at home.
I wish I could put a vinyl on the radio on Saturday nights.
Intent.
Yes, that'd be so cool.
If you were a vinyl, I'll make sure to send the old one as well.
So you get both of them.
Excellent.
And wow, more importantly, please make time stop by the studios for us in the summer when you're around.
And we would love to see you.
Absolutely.
We'd love to have some beverages together.
That sounds lovely.
I'd love that.
Awesome.
Thank you so much for the time tonight.
Give our love to Jonathan and we'll talk to you soon.
Thank you guys so much for having me.
Have a great night.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That was an apart.
It started the fire on Max Ink Radio.
I'm tired of being second best.
I'm sick of the feeling when they choose someone else.
I'm tired of knocking at the store.
You found Wisconsin's local music authority.
This is Max Ink Radio.
