Talking on all political subjects and taking on all colors, this is Matt Flin
Direct with your host Matt Flin. Welcome back to the second hour of Matt
Flin Direct coming to you statewide in live on civic media. Our lines are
open 844-967-2789. No subject is off limits and all points of view are
welcome and we're going right to the lines Joe Madison my friend thanks for
calling Joe what's in your mind today. Matt I want to thank the show very
good describing I think one of the things that we as humans don't consider very
often and the show outlines it well which is that we get used to thinking that
this because we have something we're always going to have it like the the
primacy of your democracy is always going to be there that you know that we
will always prevail because we've got a strong democracy and we can make
things work or we make good decisions about how to serve everybody in our
community. I want to respond to boy this is really fascinating yesterday
Jeannie called and then a host of other people called to help us understand
what was happening up in the Chippewa Falls or Claire area in terms of the
closure of those two hospitals. St Joseph Hospital in Chippewa Falls and
Sacred Heart Hospital in El Claire and also as I understand it for
via health locations in Western Chippewa Valley. So I wasn't allowed to
talk about this so I don't then and holy cow we are looking at a big problem in
this state people a real big problem. I would commend to your listeners on an
article out of the Chippewa let's see the Chippewa Herald that was written by
Audrey Court K-O-R-T-E the title of it is Wisconsin First Responders
really after the sudden news of hospital closing. Interestingly I found this
piece on a website of a national EMS online journal entitled ems1.com because I'm
sure it was a great interest for them to hear how the hospitals in this
rural area were just went down and what does that mean in terms of providing
services within this community. So I think because I'll tell you it does not
look pretty. The numbers that they had were that they're looking at the loss of
1100 positions in staff and then another 325 staff in the medical facilities
that they had. So we're talking about 1100 out of the two hospitals and then
325 out of that staff medical staff for the local medical locations. So what
do we got? What does this mean? Okay so let's take about one thing which is that
there is a helipad at St. Joseph okay that's the small that's the hospital that's
in Chippewa Falls and we hear within this article that often if you have a
person who's in a very serious critical condition they'll fly into the
helipad at St. Joseph, stabilize them, then transport to Chippewa Falls and
then that hospital and then transport to a more specialized facility. So the
transport from the the helipad is gone. St. Joseph is going to be gone, that
helipad is going to be gone. So how do they transfer a critically ill patient
to another facility when this is out the window? I mean within the article they
have people saying we just can't believe it. We don't know what we're going to do.
How are we going to survive this? You know they're heartbroken and angry. They
weren't told about this. One person said you've got the situation where 40% of
the transports into Eau Claire went to the hospital and when we get this
right that would be the hospital at St. Joseph's. Okay is this person
so what were those people supposed to go? Are they going to be on cats in the
front lawn of mail? Is that what they're going to do? Is that how they're going to
treat Western Wisconsin? I think there is a story here and I know some of you
are here. Well big story here and I think that some of your callers yesterday
were we're speaking of the problem of the Medicaid funding and walkers
turning that off and not going for that and what that has meant for rural
Wisconsin. Well guess what? You know it's coming home to roost and I would
encourage the station to think about looking at calling the mayors, doctors,
other people from this area to find out what this means because I think it's
just a fascinating story that have to restart their medications when they're
going out. They're transport times and I would add it to the mix. You know you
have the usual highway collusion if someone has the stroke but Western
Wisconsin also has a lot of ag and most people when they get into you know
accidents and the farm. We're talking about serious injuries. We're talking
about lots of blood. We're talking about amputations from the equipment that's
used on farms. I thank Jeannie and I thank all the other people who called to
tell us about this story because in Madison I was not knowledgeable about it
and it's exactly why this network was started up was to inform me and others
about what's happening in the rest of the state and this is an incredibly
important story and needs to be revisited. Thanks a lot Matt. I appreciate the
opportunity to talk. Yeah thank you Joe and I got to say I really appreciate
you do wonderful research that's very very important getting in the bottom of
all this and yeah and hats off the Jeannie for for raising this because it
necessarily gets statewide circulation but you know the Eau Claire Chippewa
area that area is a there's a large population and what do they do for
hospitals and I'll tell you something else and people don't take this into
account when they decide to vote Republican or Democratic. Let's take green
county. Now Green County is a county south of Madison right on the Illinois
border. It's my wife's home county where she grew up. It has a couple of old
age old age homes assisted living facilities. The number of people in those
facilities who are on Medicaid not Medicare Medicaid is
astronomically high. I've heard in some of them figures as high as 90%. Now
these are people who are treated with dignity you know some have Alzheimer's
some they all need medication, some are in hospice, some aren't in hospice.
What do you do with these constant attempts by the Republican party to cut
Medicaid relentlessly cut Medicaid? On the assumption that it's only for
quote poor people and quote in their minds are presumptively in the walking or
large cities. That is not true. The beneficiaries of Medicare and Medicaid or
everybody. Rural areas rely on healthcare facilities that in many cases get
Medicaid dollars. If you close down the old age homes I'll call them assisted
living facilities wherever you want to call them. Now we call them old age homes.
If you close if you deprive them of their Medicaid money they'd have to close.
They don't pay the I mean look the people that work in these places frequently don't
make a ton of money themselves but they're very very good people. The places have
to be heated. They have to be air conditioned in the summertime. There has to be food
and you know medicines and so on. What are you going to do? There was a time when there was no
Medicare. That was before the 1960s were Medicaid. For that matter there was a time there was no
social security. That was before the 1930s and people didn't not only didn't live as long
but they lived in some indigeration. They moved in with their their kids basically if they were
lucky enough to have them or the relatives or they'd be quote on the county. That was a phrase
that was still used in Green County and to the not too distant past. We don't want that anymore.
So anybody out there thinking about these issues remember this and you got to remember this
very very hard. You don't get to vote for a party say the Republican party is some kind of a
gratuity is is some kind of a lark firm in the knowledge that the systems that were set up in
society up till now will remain no matter what. They won't remain no matter what. And if people in
a party in this case the Republican party tell you to your face what they're going to do.
Whether it's going to be their dictator for a day. Ha ha. Dictators dictator. Were they going to
privatize Social Security or they're going to voucherize Medicare or they're going to reject
Medicaid money. Believe them. People don't say that gratuitously. Believe them and vote
accordingly. These are very very important things. Okay. I want to get back the Republican party
as you recall past the content several continuing resolutions to fund the government
at flat amounts which is really a reduction because it doesn't take into account inflation.
They did it with Kevin McCarthy and then they threw him out. Then they spent a month trying to find
a new speaker. They did it again with Mike Johnson and then January came along and he chickened
out and he said okay continue resolution till March. I got news for you today's January 31. March
is a very short month away. At that point if there isn't another budget of continuing resolution
we don't pay our military. We don't pay our sailors and soldiers and Marines in the Middle East
and the Airmen who are some of them getting killed. Now what is the house doing about it?
Well, here's what they're doing about it. Johnson said oh we got to come up with something.
Otherwise it expires the first week in March. We got to come up with something. It takes 12 spending
bills, 12 to fund the government. Four expire I think is March 1st, the other eight expire a week later.
He said okay we're going to put it in again and then the Freedom Caucus got to him and he said
except it's going to have some poison pill writers. No abortion. In other words service members.
The old stuff the Tuberville held up promotions on for 10 months. No no no abortions for any service
member. No diversity training for you know the same stuff that they fought on back in the spring
and McCarthy and Biden came to an agreement that they fought on continuously and I in my judgment
what they're going to do they're going to fool around and they're going to come up to February 29.
I mean I think this is a leap year so let's say the day before March 1 and then the funding
expires at 11.59 p.m. and at 5 p.m. Johnson will say okay I have 90 Republicans here who don't
want to shut the government down. I have 120 30 to do. I keep Jeffries I need 200 democratic votes and
that's what will happen. If we're lucky that's what's happened. If we're not lucky our service members
in the Middle East and around the world will get vouchers. There will be tens of thousands of
federal workers laid off. The ones who aren't laid off will get vouchers. The Congress won't get
a voucher they get paid and the Supreme Court gets paid. If this doesn't bother anybody in the
Republican party or independence there's something wrong call your Republican Congressman and say
we want to budget through the end of the fiscal year. The end of the fiscal year.
Coming up one senator we're going to step away briefly one senator will hold up all state
department nominations from now on until his state gets some pro-kiel interest that he's after.
Coming up.
Welcome back to the National Director. Lines are open 8 4 4 9 6 7 2 7 8 9 we're going to
break the lines mark from the sack my friend what's on your mind and they mark.
Yeah well again I'll say that the Democrats just need to come out and say because if they're
delaying this kind of operation and the needful duties of the Congress the needful business they
need to do has been held up by the Hastert rule and I think the Democrats need to remind people
that Denny Hastert was convicted of child molestation of raping children and they still
insist on insrining this as part of their rule the Republican party still insist on holding this
lending his name to this rule I mean that is just perhaps I'm being unjust but I mean that
there's still holding on to it there a rule that was established by a guy that was convicted of
child molestation and maybe people need to be reminded about that and that and that by the
Republicans not you know dumping that name at least there are I don't know I just say it's
very frustrating right Mark you're making a good point now the Hastert rule says that the speaker
I can't send a bill this is an internal rule there's not constitutional it's not a law there's
a rule that says he shouldn't send a bill to be voted on if it doesn't have a majority
of the caucus now up until now they've been very sneaky they've had a majority of one so in
other words one time 107 Republicans voted for it and 106 didn't vote for it that kind of thing
so they may find a sneaky way around the Hastert rule but the problem is there's another thing
called a rule vote which means that even before the speaker can put it on the floor
his caucus has to vote to say that it can go on that majority of the caucus has to
now in the past you may not like the bill say you're Republican you don't like the bill you're
going to vote against it but you vote if the speaker wants to go to the floor you let it go to the
floor so unanimously vote for it and it gets to the floor now the freedom caucus has figured out
what they're doing and in the rule vote they won't let it go to the floor well the Democrats
typically aren't going to vote for it and so it doesn't even get out to the floor then the speaker
can do a thing called the suspension of the rules and he could go I'm going to put it out anyway
but it requires a two-thirds vote to pass then he goes to Hakeem Jeffries and he says all right we've
agreed on this I can only get a bare majority of my people so I comply with the Hastert rule
and Mark makes a good point they should call it the you know the the Jones role of the idiots rule I
don't know but but I need sadly 200 of you people I mean now the moderates who are very angry at
them for some tax things that the freedom caucus insisted on putting in they're harnessing that
too they're not voting for any Republican legislation and the rule vote requiring two-thirds
which then requires Mike Johnson to negotiate with Hakeem Jeffries to get some Democrats I've
got a very simple question with these clowns why don't you put in for Ukraine aid that way
have somebody say it's going to the floor yeah it won't pass the rule vote I don't care if it
passes the Hastert rule all it requires is two-thirds you get 213 Democrats it would take
another about 80 or so 70 or 80 Republicans there are those why don't we run the Congress that way
but what's happening is the same kind of vanity that's going on absolutely the same kind of
vanity that's going on the Senate with one person being able to stop everything and the filibuster
and all that unanimous consent there is a majority of 350 congressmen and about 80 senators who
will do the right thing and all this get rid of your vanity suspend those rules and now
to talk about vanity there's a senator from Louisiana sadly his name is John Kennedy I have a
lot of regard for the president Kennedy one of our great presidents this guy has no relation he's
a former Democrat he's a turn coat he's a bad news guy he wrote an op-ed in the Wisconsin state
the Wall Street Journal he said quote I will block all of president Biden's nominees to the
state department and the Department of Energy so Biden lists his pause PAUSE a new impending
liquefied natural gas export permits they're called LNG's what because a handful of donor
clowns in Louisiana want LNG permits this clown will hold up under those rules unanimous consent
all state department and energy nominees all ambassadors when Rand Paul did it for Niger
in Islamic jihadist groups took over the government the government had been pro-western
pro-american through him out went in started murdering Christians and they they fly the Russian flag
because one senator Rand Paul was angry about something and I forget even what it was
trivial and wouldn't let an ambassador go over there who could have done something about this
and now this Louisiana clown doing the same thing Louisiana clown for liquefied natural gas
because Biden for whatever reason has said I'm gonna pause the export maybe there's too many
export permits blah blah who knows and therefore there will be no ambassadors and therefore there
will be no state department experts with expertise in Ukraine in the Middle East in Arab-Israeli
relations and you know something all hundred senators are okay with that because not a single one
has spoken out and everybody in the congress is okay with no border litigation legislation
with no Ukraine aid no Israel aid because of their vanity damn near all of them are unemployable
in the private sector if you saw any of them walking around a picnic you'd blanch
with horror and you say you kidding me would I hire that person to rent a lemonade stand and these
clowns are letting America and our allies and our objectives suffer very very upset about this
okay we have little time left Gary of Sussex little time before we break what's on your mind
to Gary well you know people say that the Republicans are mad that we're mad about a lot of stuff but
something I saw in the news some guy a cop in New York City was beat up by four illegal migrants that
came in there beat him up they arrested him for beating up a cop now around here you beat up a cop
that's a felony assault against the police officer you're looking at a minimum of 10 years in prison
in Wisconsin these guys were released without any bail at all these are the reasons why you know
we were kicked off that they have these democratic just go attorneys that aren't tough on crime
you know okay Gary we have to break away I'm glad you called I'm gonna research that I do not
I do not believe that somebody who's beaten up a cop in New York that nothing happens to him
believe me the police union out there can take care of themselves but you obviously read it
somewhere and I want to get to it and I do appreciate your calling and I and I ask you to
close some more and I agree that there's some prosecutors that are not tough enough
fortunately we have a great one in Milwaukee coming up coming up delay is helping Trump
in the cases against him and may push it past November coming up
look back at metham direct our lines are open eight four four nine six seven two seven eight
nine going to the lines whiscoe paul my friend thanks for calling paul what's your mind today
a good afternoon mad thanks for taking my call the Republican party seems to be mad about all
the wrong things I guess none of them listen to what genie and that joke just brought
on a lot of health care but also one of the bigger things out the national is the death threats
are all over the place I mean rhombie has them these chainy has them I think and kissing
has them they said the name right I'm Jack Smith the list is so long I can't keep track
but all these death threats and I'm acts of violence these people all have to get security guards
and the ones they can't get security they don't they can't sleep very good at night and they should
be upset about that stuff which brings me to a celebrity I remember one celebrity although I don't
think they man issued any death threats on them but I really love the music of the man who's
John Lanham this guy followed him around long enough to shoot him dead now you've got a celebrity
named Taylor Swift and for one of her recently Republicans have decided to pick on this poor young
lady a self-made lady and she really doesn't anything or any reason to be mad or other than she
you know the young people lover and that she I guess she did some organizations an organizational
skills for organizing people to get on the boat but the viewers are worrying about these death
threats and it's just ridiculous and what I'm trying to say and I it would be different if some
of these congressional people would come out and say hey enough is enough or some of these
Republicans nobody seems to care about it and that's when you run into problems in this country
so that's my say today mad death threats I don't know none none of this seems to be
prosecuted and I don't understand it I'm I'm talking to you right now you have my phone number so
if I issue any threats against you you can say this is the guy that issued it his name is
Whistful Paul and well now I'm down and and he's going to serve some ramifications for this stuff
okay thanks that yeah that's an excellent excellent call um and and the the whole
incidence of death threats this one does not only go to celebrities and to politicians and
prosecutors it goes to election workers it goes to health care workers and there was an
interview with the secretary of state of Arizona the other day and something like 40 percent
of the election heads for different areas the main clerk um are inclined not to uh to
re up not to volunteer to do it again there are insufficient prosecutions
Trump is fueling this you'll go on a tirade about somebody say that they that they're uh no good
that they're a bad person that they're deranged that they're biased immediately their death threats
he did it to judge anger on s clerk in New York a clerk so a woman who is a law clerk
it's a ministerial job that means she has no discretion to write whatever she wants
the judge says research this she researches that Trump it looked at her and didn't like her
in the court and she got death threats Trump is the reason for the death threats
one of the and I'll go to the line in a second don't hang up but one of the shocking things that
I read the other day was um finding Willis gets maybe more death threats than virtually anyone
it's called the n-word and all that but on and one call she gets you know I know where you live
I know where your daughters live gonna come get you and then they got a credible
threat that there would be an assassination attempt on her this is funny Willis the DA
in Atlanta Fulton County and what she ended up doing is she put on a different outfit and
disguised herself somebody else put on her outfit I don't know why they took a chance to
getting shot themselves was a very good friend and they slipped her out the back door
there are not enough prosecutions first of all the justice department only has so many people
you can't prosecute everybody but this has got to be epidemic proportions and it is a
trivial dental Trump and the Republicans do not stand up and criticize it none of them
there is an a single member of the House of Representatives in Wisconsin or
Ron Johnson who have even criticized them because frankly they get their base riled up and they
think it'll help them the elections there's absolutely not an ounce of character in the vast
majority of the Republican leaders this chainy has more character than than anybody I've seen she's
great Adam Kinzenger even Mitt Romney but the rest of these people no character whatsoever
Keith the medal to my friend thanks to Kong Keith what's in your mind today
hi Matt so I'm just heard your last one not those last calls the previous call before the
year commercial break about the two cops in New York getting beat up and I actually
Google it and it turns out there were four men who are arrested for beating two police officers
at one lieutenant and in the New York close to talk about yes they were released without
father bail but that was the judge's decision they're still facing charges they're still charged
with assault the only challenge obviously is if their legal immigrants or the likely they won't
be findable for or hit for the court so you know there's some truths what are you saying I don't
know the rest of the background of it but it is disturbing anyway yeah well thank you very very
much for calling and that's I want to go back to Gary Assessix you were vindicated in what you said
those people if they were had no address and to be let without let off without a bail or any kind
of bond was wrong usually the police union out there can take care of their own but if they are
not pursued because of that that is a terrible miscarriage of justice and Alvin Bragg the DA
out there by the way and this sounded like more of a judge's decision than the DA's decision
but Alvin Bragg brought a prosecution against Donald Trump which is now pending but there have
been a number of instances where he has not prosecuted or just slept on the wrist people especially
anti-Semitic incidents where somebody will walk down the street with a star David lapel or pro-Israel
pin or Yamaha and they could beat him up and he he does not do a good job I was not in favor of him
when he ran in the primary he somehow got through they have there's a real problem with that
New York so thank you Keith the Middleton and thank you Gary of Sussex okay it's been 50 days
50 days since Tonya Trutkins case this is the one that Jack Smith
brought against Trump in DC 50 days that it has been put on hold all because Donald Trump
said he had immunity now to say he had immunity is laughable for a crime there's a gallows to hang
Mike Pence he egged them on that is not in the course of his presidential duties if the president
murdered somebody with a knife even if they don't prosecute him when he's present when it's over
he didn't have immunity for doing it they are mulling this over and there's two pinch points
one of the tarantulas the tarantulas can simply help Trump by sitting on it listening to argument
later in the spring and then issuing a decision July 1 that's number one number two the DC
Court of Appeals which is the area that the court that is presently pending in the DC Court of
Appeals in the past has gone two to one on some of this stuff and the fear is that they'll say no
he doesn't have complete immunity but he has this kind of immunity for some things and we don't
think it applies here we want you to have a hearing Tonya Chetkin has already scheduled another trial
for April 2nd this one was supposed to start March 2nd and they are deliberately pushing it
away what's happening down in Florida in Marlago is that Eileen Mercedes-Canon is basically
doing Trump's work Jack Smith asked for a meeting to go over confidential classified information
and a request that he could put in a synopsis without naming our undercover agents that kind of thing
so that the press wouldn't find out very routine she sat down at for eight weeks two months
and then she's going to hold it two weeks from now that thing is not going to be tried before November
she's deliberately doing this deliberately doing this with Fanny Willis now that going after her
because of the alleged relationship with the fellow prosecutor they're on the same side
she can date whoever she wants that is not unethical to making a big deal out of it
some of this is due to Merrick Garland dragging his feet and finally appointing Jack Smith last
November and not doing it right away he should have part of it in Marlago is Jack Smith
filing in front of Eileen Mercedes-Canon he knew she'd get it when there was venue proper venue
in Washington DC but he was trying to look like a boy scout like he was fair you can't be fair
with these people so standby what's really happening is that there is a concerted effort to delay
all these cases to left in November and if he were elected God forbid which he won't
he'll order the justice department to dismiss Marlago and dismiss Washington DC
and then with Fanny Willis he'll bring every death threat he can against them
and this is the guy we're supposedly thinking of for president of the United States
go on in the lines dynamo Dave of Duluth Minnesota my friend thanks for calling
what's in mind a dynamo Dave oh hey thank you for taking my call magnificent madman
I wonder if I want to ask a question and I was going to follow up with something I was just
wondering why you think you know we have a federal master if you're cracking up a little
bit are you in a speaker phone or something Dave are you in a speaker phone I was on a headset
but maybe it's bad one can you be better now yeah a little better go ahead Dave
yeah so you know we have a federal defense system you know our from the Pentagon but why
is we don't have a federal education system for our children going up you know I happen to go
up in a suburb that had a bunch of industry that helped fund the schools of the Hopkins
Minnesota area and there's all sorts of industries it wasn't a bedroom community it was all these
industries there that was funding the schools man everything you'd want under the sun you know from
theater gymnastics painting all these different classes I could be exposed to everything swimming
but and I always thought I thought our every kid had access to this kind of stuff and I was wrong
when I got older you know all there's like and parts of Minneapolis I'd have nothing you know all
they have is a basics you know reading writing and ripeting and then kids are told you know they
don't master those three things you know science as well that they're like dummies and what I'd
like to do is invite your listeners to a watchy like an all-on-long documentary called True North
it's on website continuingcenter.net and it's an inspirational film about how this center
Jean Barrish taught these young men who were about to be expelled from classes kicked out for
bad behavior but teaching them a certain skill set so that and so they realized they weren't
dumb or anything and and deployed it they were they were having very fun on very hard times
in the basketball team and they're you know hardly we're in a single game and then the first time
she worked with you she partnered with the Minneapolis School District there in North Minneapolis
and totally skills they went from worse to first their first season and conference runner
conference well anyway then the founder there are state champions state champion let's
inspiration let me jump in before we have to cut that that's a very very good call what you're
getting at is funding for education and funding not just for the three hours but funding for
drama music you know a full dimension for these kids there was a time in Wisconsin where we did
that and then Scott Walker came in even under Tommy Thompson we sort of did it when Scott Walker came
in there's been an attack on public education has been going on for 14 years ever since he was
elected and its universities and its its core funding Tony Evers is doing his best but in the in
the lame duck legislation they stripped some of his power so you raise a very very good point thank
you very very much for calling coming up Ukraine we've gotten them some new weapons but it's essential
that we pass this bill I'll explain coming up
to a burden ring of fire I went down
welcome back to Matt Flynn director lines are open eight four four nine six seven two seven eight
nine well some good news the United States has just transferred actually today is the transfer
date today is the transfer date some GLSDB missiles what are those ground launched small diameter bombs
it's an airborne bomb with aerodynamic surfaces rocket engine and it it enables ground-based
launches so they can just do it from the back of a pickup truck range of 93 miles that means
in some of the locations where the Ukrainian military has some control they can hit Crimea they
can hit the black sea they can hit Russian ships in the black sea CIA director Burns very skillful
guy very experienced guy has been over in the Middle East just now trying to negotiate a hostage deal
with the help of Egypt and Qatar cutter and the people in Hamas in the Israelis for the release
of the hostages in a short ceasefire negotiating with Hamas is like negotiating with Nazis
their terrorists they're early unreliable in their satis but at some point when they get pounded
hard enough they can relent a little bit we'll see what happens but I also want to say that Burns
just published an article in foreign affairs foreign affairs is a magazine it's in book form
that comes out periodically in the cutting edge ideas on foreign policy from some of the best
thinkers in our country are there and he's one of them and he makes the case why it's essential
for us to continue to support Ukraine essential to walk away now which is what Mike Johnson the
Republicans are trying to do would give a victory to Vladimir Putin he will build on it he'll
sit there and lick his wounds and then he'll cause trouble again those cause trouble and
remain in Poland and Latvia Lithuania Estonia he has to be killed quite frankly I mean
I'm maybe one of the few who say it and I'll say it right now this guy is a terrorist this guy
is a Hitler Stalin wannabe but what he does is he has so much security and he travels largely by
reinforced train that the only way you can quote kill him and quote and this growing dissatisfaction
in Russia with him is to finally drive them out of Ukraine and for 5% roughly 5% of our defense
budgets and this is Burns points this out we are taking no risk of our personnel we are degrading
Russia's military standing their diplomatic standing reducing them being a client state of China
so it's very very great that we got them these missiles these ground launch small diameter bomb
missiles but the fact of the matter is that for the House to hold this up when the Senate apparently
has worked it out and even people like Ron Johnson who's been disgusting with what he's been doing
on this said Cruz Josh Hawley the rest of them they're apparently at least nine Republicans who
are going to agree to bust the filibuster that these other clowns will try to interpose
when it goes to the House and this is crunch time when it goes to the House
Johnson is shooting his mouth off this one shooting his mouth off that one shooting his mouth off
but when it goes to the House there has to be an agreement because there's at least 100 Republicans
who are for it and for Israel aid as well when it goes to the House it's got to be split off from
the border because they're all posturing and posing for holy pictures on that one and that aid
has got to come out and then Mike Johnson he's the speaker normally the speaker doesn't vote but
he can vote against it if he wants but get it on the floor with a hundred Republicans
Hakeem Jeffries two-thirds majority needed Hakeem Jeffries Hakeem Jeffries will provide 200 Democrats
and it will pass instead of continuing linking it to the border which Trump has threatened people
with primaries they're getting death threats Ukraine aid and Israel aid Trump will have a hard time
saying he's against Israel aid a very hard time and Ukraine aid his he's the catamite of
Vladimir Putin so his slave master Putin isn't going to like it but that's a lot different
from the border issue which he has to he has to keep flogging and you know to give you an example
there are these people who say well you know I'm I'm a moderate this Gallagher
our congressman in Wisconsin from Green Bay just come out and said
big article saying the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel we've got to have a direct strike against Iran
and I agree and and Joe Biden will hit Iranian assets where he'll decide where
Gallagher however is willing to not pay our troops he's willing to put poison pill writers
and the funding so that after March we won't pay our troops or if we do it'll be at last minute
it'll further hurt our credit rating for further show division to Iran whom he thinks we should
bomb he supported Tuberville who wouldn't promote our officers he's willing to say we should have
pilots bomb them won't get paid and don't get promoted he voted for a $1 salary for the defense
secretary he was touted as the guy that had the sacred the sacred gavill a male blank no male
there we go to the lines I'm getting I'm getting angry about this Dave of Madison my friend we
have a little time left hit it Dave what's up well I was kind of circumscribed whatever to say then
um yeah you know um it's really it's really outrageous especially you know Gallagher if you
pop pop pop himself as a Chinese as an expert on China he's head of a select committee I believe
on China and uh he's in pain looking at this and he's looking at this and he's making his calculus
uh no attacking um Taiwan or not you know they have 23 25 6 7 million people I forget how many
democratic country I mean it would be an absolute tragedy if that occurred and and the decision
is going to be based to some extent on you know how much we delay these you know with only three
storm shadow missiles and a couple of whole made essentially uncrewed uncrewed unmaned surface
vehicles uh the the Ukrainian great yeah Dave unfortunately we got to go call again next time
standby for another great show doubles advocate with dumb and crew great call today great call
urs that's then directed back same time same place tomorrow sign off for today
you're invisible now you got no secrets
