We're talking on all political subjects and taking on all colors.
This is Matt Flynn Direct with your host, Matt Flynn.
Welcome to the second hour of Matt Flynn Direct, come to you statewide and live on Civic
Medium. Our lines are open 8449672789. The subject is off limits and all points of
you are welcome. We're going right to the lines. Andrew Detroit, my friend. Thanks for
calling. Andrew Detroit, Michigan. What's in your mind today?
Hey, Matt, I've always been of the opinion that women and children coming in across the
border, we have to deal with that. We have to deal with that. But able-bodied men, oh no,
no, no, you go back home and you fight for your country. You know, I don't know. But women
and children, we've got to protect them. And what happened in Afghanistan, just horrible.
At the Biden had anything he could do about it. He had to get us out of there. But the
way he was set up by the orange Satan, Matt has any other exiting president ever done anything
like that, setting up the incoming president of sale. Thanks Matt. Have a good weekend.
Yeah, you know, you make a good point. And here's the deal on that one. What Trump did
at the end of his presidency, he recognized the Taliban and cut out the Afghan government.
He's very impatient. He said, okay, I'm going to get us out of Afghanistan. So I'm going to
recognize the sadists, Islamic terrorists, and cut out the Afghan government. And he met with
them separately in Vienna. He met with them separately in Vienna. He originally invited them to
camp David. And finally, his own administration said, you can't do that. You can't bring his
Islamic terrorists to camp David. So he went there and then he announced we were going to be getting
out very, very shortly, just like that, that to moralize the Afghan government. Biden comes in
and beats him. And I'll say what? Trump has set a May deadline. May. Biden said, well, no,
it's not going to be May. And he took a lot of gulf, mostly from the Republican party, extended
to August. And then he did it the way he did it. In retrospect, you could say, well, he should have
kept one of the air bases. He should have done this. They were attacking the mercilessly. The
Republican party or experts are attacking the United States, attacking America. And that's exactly
what Trump did. Andrew Detroit is exactly correct. Going back to the lines, I see you. I'll take
you in order. Do not hang up. Jack of Mirama, you're next. What's in your mind, Jack?
Well, first of all, there are three problems that I see right now. Republicans, first of all,
are continually on one network or another, whether on false news or the more objective networks.
And there's screaming a variety of lies. No border security is a security. It's an open
border. Well, it refused funding for more border agents and evidence is strong and clear,
the majority of undocumented immigrants just overstayed their visas, not due to open borders,
which we don't have. And they scream about the terrible economy, which is obvious lie,
given the lowest unemployment in decades, more jobs than ever, more jobs created in three years
than any president ever had, and even record Dow and corporate profit. They scream about the
dangers of African-Americans. I won't even go into the obvious races. They're screaming that
others are going to replace us as they get the ballot box. What others are the Americans?
Because those are the only people who can vote. Inflations out of control, really,
lowest rate in the industrialized world, about two-thirds of the price increases,
caused by corporate price colleges. Here's another problem, though. Not only are they
promoting this stuff by just allowing these people to spread these lies, but very few Democrats
are on networks refuting this blazed, blatant lie. What needs to happen here is for the democratic
party to get off its button, actually spend some time exposing the lie and doing things like
replacing, replaying the January 6th coverage we all saw in citing specific numbers and sources
to back up the other information. And finally, the Democratic party itself needs to spend some
money. They need to show ads of Republicans speaking out against Trump. Yes, they're doing that.
That's a helpful start. They also need to show clips of January 6th, parallel with the evidence
of Trump's involvement in both the violent and fraudulent electoral attempted coups. They need to
publicize that a great deal more. They need to also spend more money publicizing what Joe Biden's
done. Thanks for listening to my rant. It's not a rant. It's very, very good, and I'm going to
respond in a second. I'm going to take one more call. Rae of Virginia, my friend. Thanks for
calling. Rae, what's in your mind today? Good afternoon, sir. How are you doing?
Certainly, I'm privileged and a pleasure speaking with you. I search through the radio stations
here and find some things that people can agree and not to agree on. And the last gentleman,
he's kind of missing quite a few points there that I'm not quite sure how ever we'd want to hit
though it was not. But I do want to appreciate you for speaking up on a couple of things here
to try to keep a broad stroke over things. How anything can overcome national security
is beyond me. And the borders are wide open down and take as I travel back and forth down
an equal pass. And even whenever you have somebody like Federman saying that you have the
population of Pittsburgh coming across the border free and easy every month is intolerable.
And that is anything so there's a few wildlife parks people that can't go visit the
glacier. There's still as many glaciers as there was 20 years ago that 20% of the budget is not
going to die for long and it won't die at all. The federal agents are the IRS agents. I mean,
they wanted to arm those guys. I mean, they were buying about tens of thousands of rounds of
immunizations and ride gear for federal for the IRS agents that you tell them or you try to talk
to them and ask about a IRS problem to people. They don't even know the tax code. So a flat rate
or a consumption tax rate would certainly eliminate this discussion about taxing the rich and the poor
or whatnot. The economy and things like that, all the administrations, I mean, the numbers, they
go back and doctor the numbers. But how can you say, well, if you take out food and energy,
where do the economy is doing good? And where do you expect the everyday person to go? They have
to go to the grocery store and have to go to the gas pump, the gas and the oil. Those prices
are not set by these production by these oil companies. It's out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It goes on
the auction every day. Each company bid and sets up, I can produce a thousand gallons of or
thousand barrels of oil at a certain price this time next month. And that's why every 15 minutes
that price changes. So some of these things, if you wanted to carry over centers or whatnot,
maybe we should look at these people that are handling these pension funds all across these
municipalities. You see these pension funds that are going broke and mismanaged by unelected
people and things like that, speaking of alike. I appreciate your call. And I'll say two things.
I think you and I agree that those flag officers should have been promoted and shouldn't have
been held up 10 years or 10 months I should say. And I think you probably also agree that our
sailors and our Marines and our soldiers should be paid. I mean, I think we agree on that.
The other thing I will say is seeing the word Virginia, I was stationed in Little Creek, Virginia.
1970 to 72. I was Lieutenant J.J. in Little Creek, Virginia on the naval base there.
We were at sea most of the time. So I always like to get a call from Virginia.
And some of the other things you said, Ray, we have a disagreement. Let me first of all talk
about economics. And I'm also going to talk that's in response and in support, quite frankly,
of Jack of Merrimack, that in the month of December, we created 216,000 jobs,
which was way above what people had estimated. The unemployment rate is down to 3.7 percent
and it's steady. It blew past all economic expectations. We've had a soft landing from
the perceived fear of recession in 2023. Last year, the country created 2.7 million jobs.
Inflation is 3 percent. A year ago is 9 percent. Joe Biden has using his Federal Reserve and Powell
done a magnificent job fighting inflation better than anybody else in the world.
And this is now a point higher than the Fed goal of 2 percent. We're very much in the ballpark.
And the Fed now has to decide whether or not they change interest rates as a result.
And then we go up. Wages went up 4.1 percent in December from a year ago, 4.1 percent.
But inflation was 3 percent. There was real wage increase. It exceeded inflation by well over a point.
And the economy grew by an annualized rate last year of 4.9 percent over three months, July,
August, September. You know, that's amazing. Typically, you talk about the economy growing by
2.2 and a half percent. Now, a lot of this may sound like statistics. And of course, it is statistics.
But I don't think that you can fight the truth. And the truth is that under Joe Biden,
the economy is now stabilized. Is our culture changing? Yeah.
After the pandemic, a lot of folks don't want to work at an office. They want to work remotely.
There's more of a gig economy. We're going through some pains like that that are cultural pains.
And then as far as the IRS agents, Ray, the idea was not to send them arms to do audits.
The guy that said Goldman Sachs is not arms. Okay. But he's there on the lookout for tax fraud.
We're talking about tax fraud. That's all we're talking about. Or when the case of carried interest
using tricky changes in the law to exempt a lot of income from taxation. Now, nobody likes taxation.
I would love to have a society which couldn't happen with no taxation. There's a guy in France in the
18th century who once wrote, he said, the art of taxation is to extract the maximum number of
feathers from the goose with the least amount of hissing. And that's what it is. So yeah, nobody
likes taxes. Nobody's looking to tax anybody or not tax anybody. We've got to run a country.
We've got to pay our troops. That's the deal. And that's the deal. And you and I agree on that.
Coming up. Coming up. We didn't get to the violence that Donald Trump has
covertly been proposing. And you haven't heard this evidence before.
Lines are open. 844-967-2789.
Welcome back to Matt Flynn Director. Lines are open. 844-967-2789.
From right to the lines, Wiscopal, my friend. Thanks for calling Wiscopal. What's in your mind today?
Hi, good afternoon. This is Noley Day in Wisconsin.
Your last caller, that was quite a dire try there of things. I don't know where to begin on that,
so I'm not going to. But I will point out one thing. Trump's tax cuts have added to the deficit
in the middle class in the meantime. Their tax cuts were sunsetted. So one of the problems we
have in this country is because he wealthy. Do not pay enough. Now if I guess that I don't like
paying taxes either, but we have an army to maintain, a military, I should say, and
any other things. I don't want to get into it. Here's what I really called a botless.
Trump seems to be trying to redefine himself. Like he never said these things after January 6th.
The insurrection was not. He didn't have anything to do with it. I mean, it's an amazing thing.
If they can flip this guy, yeah, this like drives me nuts. Everything he said's on paid.
Everything that happened was on video, but they're trying to reinvent this guy and
if somebody he is it. And I don't Fox News and these people are trying to just not believe
none of this stuff happened. I get beside myself on this stuff, Matt, when I'm talking here, but
this guy cannot become president again. It just can't happen. I couldn't. I don't want
Mickey Haley, but I'm not going to lose any sleep if she's elected. You know what I mean? But
man, I don't know where to go with this. Or I'm going to walk back to statement. You made
this statement. You know, you're in your courts and they death threats and everything else. It's
just an unbelievable line of things that this man has set and done another trying to walk all
this stuff back. And it's ridiculous. And that's, hey, have a nice Friday and gold packers.
Well, Paul, listen, cheer up a little bit. Biden will beat Trump. Let me
build on what you just said, give some facts to everybody because you're making an observation
that's very true. There is increasingly and feeling in the Republican party and they are
rejoicing over it. That Trump is walking back some of his prior statements. Now, hold on for a second.
When anybody says they're walking something back, and I don't care if they're a Democrat or
a Republican, it basically means they're withdrawing it, retracting it, or they're changing their
story. In some cases, they'll say something that's false. Then they walk it back. In other words,
they say, yeah, okay, I was lying. Here's the deal. You can't let them get away with the phrase,
I don't care who it is, walking something back. If you said something or did something,
then you're responsible for that. And then if you change your mind or apologize, fine, but
if you don't walk anything back, but here's what the Republicans are
growing about Trump walking back. He initially said, quote, and he did say this, quote,
it's a miracle. I overturned Roe v. Wait, in quote. In other words, he appointed the tarantulas,
or three of the tarantulas. Okay, it's a miracle. I overturned Roe v. Wait, overturned Roe v. Wait.
Well, he's did that to solidify himself in the Republican primary. Now, what he's saying is more
moderate, sort of like Nikki Haley or even to the left of Nikki Haley. Well, you know, you gotta,
you gotta take a lot of things into consideration. He's already put three justices in who overturned
Roe v. Wait, they're not going to unoverturn it until we get another Democratic president that
gets more Supreme Court appointments. But somehow everybody's supposed to go, oh, okay, well,
then I feel better about that. The second thing he says, I didn't say I'd be a dictator. Well,
let me tell you what he did say. He said, and this was a guy from Fox said to him, I think it
was Hannity said, well, you know, you're not going to be a dictator or you know, he threw him a
softball. For anybody, even a moron, that's the softball. You go, no, I wouldn't be a dictator. Hitler
said he wouldn't be a dictator. Hitler was made chancellor in 1932 after the elections. And he
said, oh, listen, I just want to suspend the Reichstag for a couple of years. I want to clean
up the Versailles Treaty, put people back to work. I'm not going to be a dictator. Well,
they said fine. So he suspended the Reichstag and started to kill them, kill everybody.
Trump now denies that he said that. He said, I didn't mean I'd be a dictator. Of course,
I'm not going to be a dictator. He said he'd be a dictator on day one. Now he either denies
he says it. Sometimes he says he didn't mean it. He was joking or whatever.
The third thing, he kept saying, I am your retribution. I am the chosen one. He said this. I'm
the chosen one. You know, I mean, that has meaning. We know who the chosen one was and it was not
Donald Trump. So in our culture, guy goes around saying, I'm the chosen one. Guys and not, you know,
occasionally used to see cartoons, panhandlers who have a sign that say the end of the world is
near. They'd have a real long beard. They thought they were father time or they were like Napoleon
and a guy had stand there in a weird hat with his hand in a shirt, you know, that kind of thing.
Nuts. So this guy says, I'm the chosen one.
Guy has a sign in Times Square that goes, I'm the chosen one. People go by and laugh and snicker
throw him a few bucks into his crumble up hat. Sky's running for president. He was the president.
He goes, I'm the chosen one. And I am your retribution. In other words, you're not, he's not a Messiah
that's benign in loving. He is the terrible Swiss sword. He said all these things.
Now he goes, I was getting, quote, I won't have time for retribution.
Now saying I won't have time to kill you doesn't mean I couldn't kill you. Doesn't mean I don't
want to kill you. Just means I'm busy. Doesn't make me feel any better. It's also false. He has
plenty of time. For one thing, he could put in Jeffrey Clark as the attorney general.
He could put in somebody Mike Flynn for Secretary of State.
He could put in a thief as Secretary of the Treasury. I think the thing you should ask is
when he finally selects a vice president, if he's in fact a nominee, yes, the vice president.
If Trump urges your assassination, would you object to that? The last time he's Mike Pence,
and he goes, well, Mike Pence didn't do what he's supposed to do.
So I think Wiscoe Paul is on to something. Not only do I think, and I know it, because the Republican
party is talking about it. He is on to something. And Trump is now looking at a general election,
because remember, the Iowa caucuses are Monday, Monday. And shortly after that,
this is going to be a New Hampshire primary. Super Tuesday is March 5th. By March 5th,
that's six weeks away. What is it? Six weeks? Well, seven weeks away.
We will know the nominee. Wisconsin's primary in April will be meaningless. We will know the
nominee. And now he's trying to run a general election. We can't let him get away with it.
Okay, coming up, let a news and weather. And you're going to hear about Trump's call for
violence coming up. I see you in the lines. Do not hang up. I'll get back to you right after the break.
Welcome back to Madison director. Lines are open. 844-967-2789. We're going right to the lines. The lines
are live. Take you in order. Do not hang up. I will get to you. We're going to start in order.
Gene of Eau Claire, my friend. Thanks for calling. Gene. What's in your mind today?
Say something to comfort Paul. I know what he's feeling like. Can I fall in the
article yesterday? It was on morning show. And I strongly recommend like to go to YouTube,
go to MSNBC and get morning show. And title of it was nobody expected this. Biden has 60%
support from voters. 65% and older. And I thought that was pretty good. And they showed some
statistics. And it's in Pennsylvania. And, you know, you know, helpful. But still, it gave me some
hope. But the thing that I got the most hope from that was looking, you click on and you can see
information about the article. And there are all of these posts and comments from people 65
and older. And maybe 50 to 80 some. And you would not believe what they have to say.
And I was so impressed. It will make your day. Some were kind of SMARMY comments, which I like to
share real quick. You know, some of them, the younger people were put in an up-center Democrat
teller lies to up-center Republican or mega Republican tell the truth. I was up all my
greetings because you know what? It made my day. And they were talking about their life experiences
why they won't be fooled by a kind man. And then another young guy puts on their trump
faces more charges than Biden's had birthdays. And I thought, well, good for you. And they thought
people were commenting to old people and old people were sharing their stories. And if you need
some uplifting, see that it made my day. That's great. They're just like us to have to keep on
talking. And you too, Matt, you do a great job. Thank you. Thank you, Jane. Yeah. Well, you know,
the thing is, if you're 65% or more among the demographic that this is most of the voting,
that's pretty darn good. And a lot of younger people are very well-intentioned. And I think as the
campaign develops, they're going to see the light. And Biden's going to win back to the lines.
Joe, we're mad at some, my friend. Thanks for calling Joe. What's in your mind today?
Hi, I just wanted to respond to a way from Virginia. Glad he called and there were a couple of
points of his. So we're even more, but I'm just going to stick on to the have to do with the IRS.
He said that he, he was just understanding that the IRS was hiring 87 armed inspectors,
armed IRS agents. And I just wanted to reassure him he can check out an article called the title of
what is called the IRS is not hiring thousands of armed agents. Job ads show opening for a specialized
unit. And this is from Reuters. They're a fact check unit. It's August 17, 2022. And this
unit within the IRS, it's a criminal investigation unit. And it's been around forever. It's not a new
unit. This unit has been around since 1919. And there's about 2008 special agents in this unit now
out of the 80,000 plus IRS units or IRS employees that they have. They operate,
used to be called the intelligence unit. They were modeled after the role of the post office
inspectors. And so they're looking this particular 2000 members of that specialized unit.
They do items related to money laundering, bank secrecy, and national security. And that is why
they are armed. But the other, and so this is not something they came about from the inflation
reduction act. And in fact, that inflation reduction act has had a very, very positive effect.
I would route him to another article. And this one is by Bloomberg. And this is from
January 12, just yesterday, 2024. The title is IRS says it has recovered 500 million,
half a billion from wealthy taxpayers. So as part of the inflation reduction act,
the idea was to get the money that wealthy people owe the IRS and they have not paid.
So last year they collected money from over 900 millionaires, bringing the total collected to
over 500 million since they started early last year with the funding from the
inflation reduction act. So I guess I would assure him that this notion that there's 87,000
armed IRS units is not true. It's just that specialized criminal investigation unit of only
2,000 agents. So and they are apparently doing a gangbusters job at getting money from people
who've been dodging their taxes, rich people who've been dodging their taxes, not people at the
lower end, rich people who've been dodging their taxes. Thanks a lot, Matt.
Yeah, that's a great quote, Joe. You always come up with some very, very fine research.
If it's been around 100 years and you know anybody, I don't care if it's border patrol,
I don't care if it's ice, FBI, police or anything else. If somebody is dealing with national security,
you're dealing basically with terrorists who can come in the country and money launders, drug
cartels, you better be armed. I'd want to be armed, but that's very reassuring. I think we all
knew it, but you gave chapter and verse on it in that unit spent around since 1919 and they're the
ones and they are not going into businesses and they're not going into the average person's home.
Thanks very much. Dick Amanda, my friend, thank you for calling Dick. What's in your mind today?
Well, real quick, Trump also said he wouldn't have any time for golf anymore, either last
in 16. But you know, some of this stuff I think is a little bit over the top we've had. I'm not
saying he's not a threat whatsoever, but I think that people are keeping their powder dry and by
that, I mean, some of these people like Donald Crude had a retired admiral on last week,
and he's most military people as you know, stay out of this type of thing, politics.
And there's going to be other politicians and I think some from even the Republican side of the
aisle that are going to say, Nick's note of this stuff, but they're not going to do so until next
summer because most people don't pay that close attention this early. And I think they're going to
keep their powder dry until that point and then some of these people will come out of the woodwork
if he's in fact an nominee. I hope you're right, Dick. And I do think and I can tell you
I'm very certain in my own mind that Biden would beat him will be him.
Trump has everything that he's done and that he's saying in court now and that he's saying in
threatening people understand that he's unstable. I think he has early
dementia, early argumentative dementia. It's nothing but insults for the contorted face revenge,
it's a revenge tour. And the thing that concerns me the most is that he's unreliable in foreign
policy that he is submissive to Putin. And you can say no, he wasn't engaged in strange sex acts
in a Moscow hotel room. I disagree with you like in this, but but whatever the reason, the fact
that he's getting money from the rescues. So son said he got money from the rescues. And then
what a Chinese bank gives him five and a half million bucks. We said that the other day. And then
they evade sanctions on Korea. And he's fine with it. He defends Saudi Arabia when they send
people to be trained by our Navy in Florida. And in December of 2018, they shoot our sailors in class.
And he defends it. He says, uh, uh, Mohammed, Prince Mohammed, you know, the Crown Prince feels
terrible about it. Well, yeah, I bet he does because now he got smoked out. Saudi Arabia is
behind 9 11. Uh, the guy goes where the money is. Show me the money. He's on the take.
Can't have that kind of thing. Absolutely. Can't have that kind of thing. But I want to talk about,
you know, you were saying that, you know, maybe it's not so bad in terms of the threats and all that.
There's some evidence that just came out. And I want to get into it right now. Their recent
filings and their recent witness interviews testimony. Some of them revealed by Jack Smith just
now that show that Trump's, so Trump's willingness to use violence and intimidation to obstruct
the electoral council, uh, electoral college vote. You know, a lot of people looked at him and
said he's in a voncular guy, you know, which means he's uncle like. In other words, you know, he's
just a kind of a strange personality, but he doesn't mean any harm. Well, there's a lot of evidence
that he did mean violent harm. And when this comes out in Tonya Chutkin's case, the jury's going
to be very hard pressed in my view to say that he didn't have intent. And here's some of the examples.
Here is the evidence. First of all, there were efforts by Trump of Trump agent. And I had forgotten
this. I remember there was a blurb on it to incite a riot to obstruct the vote count at TcF center
and Detroit. And Andrew Detroit will know all about that. But they were there at the TcF center.
And there were Trump of Trump provocateur that was trying to start a riot to slow down and stop
the counting because Detroit is the center, obviously, of Michigan and also the center of democratic votes.
There's also a post indictment.
Comments by Trump supporting the convicted rioters saying that he would pardon them that they are
patriots. It shows this corrupt intent. There's also a guy named Scabino,
damn Scabino, who is his deputy chief of staff. Dan Scabino initially blew off a January 6th committee
Scabino. Then he caved and he gave testimony. And he said the critical testimony. And he talked about
Trump's indifference to the escalating January 6th violence that Trump was comfortable with it and
intended it. There are many reports that this is the fourth thing. Trump's reaction to Mike Pence's
danger. He said, so what? People, including people like Sean Hannity, people like the right-wing
nuts in the media, people, Mike Gallagher, Congressman from Green Bay from Wisconsin, senators called
them up and said, for God's sake, you've got to stop this. Some said that Mike Pence was in danger.
They're saying, hang Mike Pence and Trump's response. It's testimony to this was, quote, so what?
If you know that people, you're the president and you're told that people are going to murder
your vice president, you say, so what? That shows that you have intent, violent intent to stay in
office. Another thing, January 6th, they found out that Trump's phone was unlocked and his Twitter
was open. And the inference from that, and I think it's true, is that this is a deliberate effort by
him to use his personal accounts and devices to avoid detection. And avoiding detection is something
that is, you know, is a felony. You rub a bank and then you change your clothes in the park on
the way to, you know, shave your beard off to consider identity. That is considered evidence
that you rob the bank. The effort to conceal that's evidence. There was a very notorious tweak
at 2.24 p.m. January 6th. And by the way, I see when the lines do not hang up, I'll get you right
away targeting Pence and encouraging them up to 24. He said, you know, Pence didn't do what he
is supposed to do. That was encouraging that mob. Michael Cohen has said he talks like a mob boss.
He never says, kill this guy. They'll say things they could be ashamed of something happened
to that guy. Next, he refused in 2016 in the campaign and 2020 to agree to the peaceful transfer
of power. They said, do you agree to what he said? Depends on how the vote turns out.
His September 2020 in the debate against Biden, statement of the proud boys, stand back and stand by.
And several of the proud boys have testified in plea agreements that they took that as his
presidential permission and encouragement to get involved in January 6th. We go into the lines.
Bob, it matters to my friend. Thanks for calling. What's your mind about?
Am I on now? You are, Bob. We have about a minute. So yeah, what's in your mind?
Okay. Okay. Yeah. Roger Stone is kind of on my mind. He was the WikiLeaks connection in 2016.
He had to be the proud boys connection in 2020. And yet he's gone free. They haven't gone
after him. They haven't indicted him. He must be doing a really good job of secretly communicating
with Trump because you know, that would be the connection we need to directly tie the convicted
insurrectionists with in the plot. Let me just correct one thing. He was pursued and Trump
gave me a pardon, pardon, sprung him. Otherwise, he was going to jail. So they did go after him,
but I agree with you 100% that he is one of the spiders at the center of the web. He needs to be
in prison. He absolutely needs to be in prison. In my view, he's a bad guy. Okay. Coming up,
very, very shortly, Larry Hogan looks like he's getting closer to running as a no labels candidate.
And what is the foundation and the ad counsel?
Welcome back to Matt Fender, director. Lines are open 844-967-2789.
Well, the presidential field is not yet settled. Of course, we don't know who the nominees are.
We have a good idea who they're going to be. Iowa caucus is coming up on Monday,
you know, Blizzard apparently or let us know and let it cold. But a little known thing just occurred.
Larry Hogan, a moderate Republican former governor of Maryland just resigned from the no value,
the no values, that's good, no values board, the no labels board. Why did he do that right now?
There been a lot of rumors that there's going to be a no labels ticket. They'll have to come up
with a better name than that. A no labels ticket of a mansion of West Virginia, Joe Manchin
in Larry Hogan, Maryland. Now, the thing about that is that neither one of them is going to get
Schneider. Neither one of them should be president. And Larry Hogan, you know, I mean, he says the
right things in terms of being against Trump is absolutely no excitement about the guy. Nobody's
going to think of the guy vote for him. They're not going to recognize the name.
Manchin is a West Virginia guy, former governor, now Senator. And he has sided with the Republicans
and a bunch of stuff. But very skillfully, Joe Biden has gotten him to support hard infrastructure,
soft infrastructure, the Hatch Act, not the Hatch Act, the Chips Act. And the idea is that
what, they think these clowns are going to win? They know they're not going to win. So then the
question is who do they hurt? If the finals are Joe Biden against Trump, and if Trump is convicted,
and Tonya Chutkin's court, that'll change the dynamic. But he is using appeals to do everything he
can to delay things to left at the election. And he may do that. And the tarantulas, six tarantulas
may sit on an appeal and you never know what's going to happen. But if it goes into that,
the idea is that Joe Manchin would be the presidential candidate. And Larry Hogan would be the
vice presidential candidate. And Larry Hogan has signaled by leaving the no labels board,
because presumably he'd have a conflict of interest if no labels endorse the ticket.
It's all speculation. I don't know. I don't know where they're going to raise their money. I think
they would raise their money from Republicans who are trying to chip away at Joe Biden's vote.
Polls seem to show, and it's not just no labels, but it would be Robert Kennedy Jr. running
this Cornell West or whatever he is, former professor, just absolutely crazy as a loon on issues.
Those kind of folks, you start drunken up the ballot, and some folks will go, oh, well,
I don't want Trump or Biden, so I'll go with this guy. The question is, we don't have rank
choice voting at the presidential level federally. So who would they have voted for
if there were not these alternatives? Well, I personally don't believe that serious voters
are going to vote for Hogan, Manchin, Cornell, Robert Kennedy Jr. And I'll say some of Robert Kennedy
Jr. I'm a strong Kennedy guy. I was Teddy Kennedy's Milwaukee County chairman in 1980 and his
president for race. I met a number of his sisters, and I'm a stalwart Kennedy guy.
Robert Kennedy Jr. When Sirhan Sirhan, who murdered his father, came up for parole this last time.
Robert Kennedy Jr. Champion Sirhan Sirhan's parole. The guy murdered his father. Now,
there's some basics in politics, and it really goes back to Greek drama. I mean,
if somebody murders your father, you don't stand by the murder.
There's something wrong with you emotionally and mentally, if you do that.
That alone to me, I will not ever, ever, ever give Robert Kennedy Jr. the time of day.
He's bad news, very bad news, crazy issues, vaccine, all this kind of stuff.
But he has a famous name because of his father and his uncle, John F. Kennedy,
and he's defiling that name by siding with Bobby Kennedy's assassin.
So how many votes are Larry Hogan and Manchin going to get? How many votes do Robert Kennedy Jr.
are going to get? The rest of them. And then the question of my mind is if they weren't on the
ballot with those people that voted anyway? It's very, very hard for me to see that there are
people who would vote for Robert Kennedy Jr. or for Manchin and Hogan who if they weren't on the
ballot would have voted for Trump. I mean, if you're not going to vote for Trump, you're not going to
vote for Trump. It's hard for me to see how those folks would have voted for Biden if these
people weren't on the ballot, although maybe it's a little more plausible if they would.
The polls seem to show that if you loaded up with junk, you loaded up Robert Kennedy Jr.
Cornel West, you loaded up with Manchin and Hogan and all this that it's slightly more cuts into
Biden than Trump. That's what the polls show. But this is 10 months away from the election.
And there has not been remotely the kind of focus and attention on Trump as much as you read about
in the paper in terms of his being president again. What he would do with Russia, sacrifice Ukraine,
he sacrificed the Kurds to Turkey. What he would do with North Korea and they routinely sending
missiles over South Korea and Japan. What he would do with China when he got paid off by a Chinese bank.
When you start seeing incense scrutiny on that, stand by. Joe Biden beat him by 7 million votes,
81 million to 74 million last time in electoral votes, well over 30. And he'll do it again.
Hold the polls even head to head, show them either tied or Trump slightly ahead in one of them in
Wisconsin, Biden slightly ahead. But you should be aware that these third party maniacs are sniffing
around. They're all narcissists. They're all full of themselves. Well, I can tell my grandkids
that I ran for president and all they're doing is clouding things up and doing some very, very bad
things in my view, very, very bad things. But you should know that when you have somebody like
like Hogan taking the first steps to be very, very wary of what this is and stand up, I'm a
Democrat stand up for Joe Biden, stand up very, very strongly for Joe Biden. Come to the end of
the show. Great show coming up. It was advocate with thumb and crude. Have a good weekend everybody.
Have a good weekend. Let us know and let us call the Milwaukee. I'm sure everywhere else.
Metthin Direct will be back same time, same place on Monday. And I'm signing offer today.
