Matt Flynn Direct · Thu Dec 21, 2023

Talking on all political subjects and taking on all colors, this is Matt Flynn direct

with your host Matt Flynn. Welcome to Matt Flynn direct. How many live statewide

on civic media? Our lines are open eight four four nine six seven two seven eight nine. No

subject is off limits. All points of you are welcome. Remember you're not woke if you don't know

history. You're not woke unless and until you know history you're going right to the front lines

of history in the making. Let's start with Colorado that Supreme Court decision that came down

yesterday. We talked about it yesterday. Saying that Trump will not be on the ballot in Colorado

because he incited an insurrection and he's barred by the 14th amendment.

Right now by its terms it applies to the Republican primary and March 5th in Colorado.

But the court stayed the decision in other words the court put it on hold for a period of time

for a couple of weeks for Trump to try to appeal to the US Supreme Court. The US Supreme Court

does nothing doesn't take the case they don't have to take the case. The very few cases the US

Supreme Court has to take. Maybe a lawsuit between two states arguing about the boundaries

something like that but they don't have to take the case or they can say let it wind up through

the court of appeals. Jack Smith has moved the court asked the court to take it immediately. That

was originally not the Colorado case that was the case on Trump is immunity defense but

Jack Smith's position in all these cases is don't sit on it court. Don't sit on it tarantulas.

Don't take a month to think about it and kick trial dates and mislead people in the

primaries and he'll take the same position in Colorado as well. So what is the fall out of this?

Well let me tell you something. Trump's thugs went to work. Trump's thugs went to work. There

have been a flood of threats death threats against the Colorado Supreme Court against all of them

even the ones in the minority that said that they didn't think he should be kicked off the ballot.

Now here's some examples. These are violent threats. Some of them some of Trump's supporters

and Trump you know always thinks he's he's as pure as the driven snow. Well I didn't do it as

just my supporters. Well yeah but on social media on truth social on acts and all of these things

you're shooting your mouth off threatening them coming very very close to explicit threats.

And what do you think they're going to do? What do you think they're going to do? Well here's

a couple of examples. One tweet that came in was like this quote this ends when we kill the

F blank blank K-E-R-S. Speaking about the justices of the Colorado Supreme Court

another one came in like this quote what do you call seven justices from Colorado

at Supreme Court at the bottom of the ocean answer a good start.

That's an old hackneyed thing that they say about lawyers people don't like lawyers.

Here's another one quote kill judges I'm not kidding behead judges roundhouse a judge

into the concrete. Another one is slam dunk a judges baby into the trash camp.

Everything that I just described is a felony. It's not just the president you can't threaten

it's judges but there's so many of these threats and sometimes they take some unwinding to see

who sent them and people aren't following up on them. Everyone that I just read that individual

should be brought to trial for threatening a judge and given a long jail sentence.

That to me is the only thing that's going to stop this. The only thing that is going to stop

this is very dangerous and Trump is behind it and he's going to attack any judge as a case with him.

Go to the lines Bill of a condom walk my friend thanks for coming Bill listen your mind today.

Thanks Matt for showing the severity of what this issue is about. If we allow these people to

perpetuate this criminal activity and threats well it'll just escalate like you can't believe.

Right now most of it's just verbal threats nothing more but the real threats have already happened

and he blows his husband trying to be bludgeoned in death. There's been other incidents

but in less clearly if the Supreme Court or Federal Supreme Court doesn't stop it

by saying he is ineligible to run for election. Thanks Matt for the air time I really appreciate it.

Yeah no and you're right and let me tell you something else the US Supreme Court has security

extensive security not quite like a president but they can go to a restaurant and they have a bunch

of agents around the average judge doesn't have that they've got to do something to stop Trump doing

this. Charles of Green Bay my friend thanks for calling Charles what's in your mind today.

Well Matt I'm just thinking you know okay if Donald Trump can make these people do his bidding

what is the difference between what Donald Trump did on January 6th and what Donald Trump is

continually doing to his threats to the judge and Osama bin Laden who got his pilots to go slam

into the World Trade Center it's the same thing because Trump gets his cronies to do his bidding

and Osama bin Laden got his cronies to do his bidding so what's the difference I personally

and it's only my opinion that Trump should face the same penalty that the Rosenbergs did in 52

and I'll leave you with that thought. Right no no I understand the reference and that was

treason he has committed treason insurrection is treason the Confederates for instance when Lincoln

pardoned them all he didn't have to do that and Robert Lee and Jefferson Davis could have been

hanged but they weren't because Lincoln wanted to bind the country together but that is the sanction

there's no question that that's the sanction and I think that he is as responsible or more

than the people who make these threats because he's jaining it up but he's very sneaky he goes up

to the line let's say well I didn't say to say that yeah okay what do you think it's going to happen

when you say that this judges biased and corrupt and what the heck do you think is going to happen

I like to call Charlie call more often Matt of Johnson Creek my friend thanks for calling

him Matt. Hi I just wanted to get your opinion on I thought I had on how I think the cowardly

conservatives are going to hunt on this whole Colorado issue if they take it up I feel like

they might take the language that's the 14th saying they're not allowed to hold office

but not necessarily to be elected to office or to run on a ballot or to engage in election

like that's just my I'm if I had a guess like how do they weasel their way out of actually having

to do anything you know important that they say oh well there's nothing saying in the Constitution

he can't run for office and that's what the suit is about along and farewell what do you think?

That's a very profound insight legally and let me give you a couple of examples where this

happened before there are a lot of scholars and that means that there's some cover for these judges

to say exactly what you just said it doesn't mean that they can't run it just means they can't

actually take the office give you two examples one is you have to be 35 years old to be present

you have to be 30 years old to run for to be in the Senate and you have to be 25 years old

to be in Congress in the House of Representatives believe it or not there's no

no age for the Supreme Court but suppose somebody who is 30 years old ran for president

and somebody went to court and said well he shouldn't be permitted to run it's five years too young

I think I think you're right I think that a judge would say well he can run all he wants but he's

can't be sworn in and occupy the office that is a concern and at the presidential level the

reason that's a concern is it's not just a senator or a congressman it's the leader of the whole

country and if a majority of the whole country wants that that individual is a leader to say okay

he can run and he can promise stuff then he gets elected and he can't take office you know this

Supreme Court does not have an army that's a very very astute insight now one that always

occurred to me was Ted Cruz Ted Cruz ran for president remember in 2016 Ted Cruz's father was

from Cuba and he was born in Canada his mother was an American from Delaware but he said and I

said at the time I don't think he's he's not a natural born citizen natural born citizen was put

in the constitution you have to be a natural born citizen to run for president by the way and that

was because back when George Washington became president and and and Adams and the rest of them

there were plenty of people who had been born in England you know Tom Payne for instance a great

patriot he was a you know common sense he wrote that he's a great patriot but they wanted to make

sure that they were not people from England or France or Europe running for president of the United

States George Washington was born in the United States so it was Adams so the rest of them

well now it's start of a John McCain he was born in Panama but his father was an admiral and he

was not a Navy based in Panama at the hospital and he his father was stationed there so everybody on

both sides said of course he can run but now it's gotten to the point where you can have a Cuban

father and be born in Canada and your Cruz and you say I'm running and I think people did it

mad exactly what you're saying they said well we'll sort that out later guy probably won't win

and he didn't win so they didn't have to deal with it but you're right it does not say you can't run

you know you can run I mean uh some states will knock you off the ballot some won't

but what happens if you get elected I personally think that Trump's not going to get elected

he's not going to be Joe Biden Joe Biden despite everything you hear is handling all of our foreign

policy initiatives magnificently he's the most experienced foreign policy guy we've had

in the United States simply because he was in the Senate and he was a chairman of the

foreign relations committee so we're lucky to have him and the clown Trump the more he

he's up there quoting Mike Conf and says he never read it well you know you're pretty close

Jack say you never read it well you read his collected speeches you can't have a clown you can't

have the butt of a joke you can't have Putin's mistress in there as president let's say what coming

up we're going to talk about this some more I see when the lines do not hang up get back to you

right after we come back to be real quick and talk about this some more and then we're going to

talk about Rudy Giuliani he just went bankrupt

welcome back to Madison director lines are open eight four four nine six seven two seven eight

now I'm going right to the lines take in order do not hang up Gina will clear my friend you're

first what's your mind aging hi Matt thank you so much for taking my calling and thank you for

doing such an outstanding job criminals you know we got to stop covering for criminal behavior no

the Scottish you know who get some big money from from people for trips and things you know

these people need to be held accountable this is ridiculous and you know if they were smarter

had a brain in their heads they quit making excuses and making themselves more indebted to Donald

Trump all these people that are running for office in the Republican party those people will not

call him out but yet nobody likes them maybe if they had a little cajonas and call this guy out

and say no he shouldn't be running maybe people have a little bit more respect for him but right now

none of those people deserve the respect of the American public I mean this this is so outlandish

you couldn't even find this in a movie and then with the invocation you know to to come to the

capital on the six how many people lose lose and have a loser party how many people invite some

people to their place or to party or to get together to celebrate their loss it's going to be great

I want to say come on celebrate with me come on now we're not that goddamn dumb come on

most people need to know that the public is awake they may have a few that are still sleeping but

I'll darn it Matt this is like I hope it's going to make some more out of this so make millions thank

you very much Matt you have a great day bye bye well when you invited them on January 6th

we wanted you to come and get a criminal conviction I mean as well you should have said that

12 hundred of you are going to get criminal convictions so some of you are going to go to jail

for 20 years you idiots going down the line Claire of Sun Prairie thanks for calling Claire what's in

your mind today hello Matt I hate to correct you on a point here with the birth certificates for

being born overseas like with McCain it had nothing to do with the fact it was at a military

base my father was a CIA station chief in Cairo and I was born there and my birth certificate is

an Arabic but there's a State Department form the top it says report of birth of child to

American parent or parents because my parents were from Wisconsin and automatically a US citizen

and in Barack Obama's case his mother was from Kansas end of story yeah but there's two

differences there Claire Barack Obama was also born in Hawaii and not in Cairo and the second thing is

that the state of yet yes you're an American citizen but that doesn't mean you're a natural

you natural born that's a different standard now I agree with you it's a very very good point

I do agree and plus both of your parents were American citizens

Ted Cruz's father was Cuban but putting that aside I agree with you that that is how people

are beginning to interpret natural born citizen but I think that's a mistake I think that if you

are born of two American parents who are citizens and you make they may be traveling and you're born

inadvertently overseas or their station that's one thing but when one of them

that's this is my own personal feeling but when one of them is foreign you're born a foreign country

that's an attenuated link to the the whole idea is you don't want attenuated links

with our culture and who is the president of the United States but that's just a matter of opinion

and I do agree with you that that is ultimately what you just said is ultimately probably

our court would rule thank you for calling look forward to your calls again Andrew

Andrew of Detroit Michigan thanks for calling Andrew what's in your mind today

good afternoon professor uh I think one of the worst that I'm terrified for the future of

here we've got a constitutional crisis going on right now and we have to believe that and

understand that and one of these judges is finally going to have to put him somewhere where they

can shut him up because no matter what happens with these courts no matter what happens with the

elections if it doesn't turn out the way he wants it to there will be trouble we saw him do it

before he will do it again he does not lose in his mind thanks that well yeah thank you and he

has agents in some of the elections boards around the country we're going to have to keep a sharp

bag against fraud but I agree I mean Biden will beat him by another seven million votes

he beat him by over 30 electoral votes last time he's going to beat him again and they're not

going to say kindly to it but they do know the twelve hundred of them were convicted of crimes

by screwing around last time they better not do it again Troy of Mount Horop thanks for calling

Troy what's in your mind today hey Matt how are you doing I'm good Troy yeah what's up good hey um

I don't agree with this narrative that people keep saying that people are afraid of

Trump and that's why they don't confront him I think the ones who disagree with him

didn't confront him you know with training met Rodney a few others the rest of them I think

agree with them and they're not afraid of them they just just this is who they want and they're happy with

yeah that's an interesting very interesting insight let me give you a slight spin on that okay I'm

just going to give you a slight spin for my own belief and experience and looking at it

I agree with you that a lot of them that don't confront him like to write his co-tails I

agree with that in other words and they don't want to be premiered by him but Lindsey Graham said

and Mitch actually mr. McConnell as well both of them said that if the vote on conviction of the

impeachment remember the House of Representatives votes for impeachment by a simple majority the

Senate has to convict that they're the trial the impeachment is like a prosecution and the trial

the court is the Senate that has to be by two thirds and uh several of those senators said

if that were a secret ballot he would have been convicted a hundred to nothing

I think there is fear of him and people tend to dislike what they fear they fear the primary so

I think you're absolutely right that they like his popularity if they can write the co-tails

I think that's absolutely right and some of them agree with him on some issues

some of them agree with him on all issues for instance it's Tommy Tuberville whom I can't stand

when he talked about poisoning the blood for immigrants remember Trump just he repeated it

at the other day Tommy Tuberville said that Trump wasn't aggressive enough in what he said

everybody else said hey that's not a monk comp Tommy Tuberville said it's not enough so you know

somebody like it Tommy Tuberville may like everything about the guy but a lot of the others will like

well tax cuts and immigration all that but they don't necessarily like the fact that he sucks up to

Putin and that he'll betray Ukraine but they do not have the guts to stand up to him so I think

you're right that they like writing in on his popularity no question I think that Mitch McConnell

and Lizzie Graham were right said if it had been a secret vote on conviction he would have been

convicted a hundred to nothing I believe that too but I also think that there is fear of him and

dislike even though they need him and I think that's an operative thing so it's a gray area it's not

100% one way or the other coming up coming up we are going to have the house weaponizing

the budget fight this is very very dangerous and I may sneak in some Giuliani word on that too

welcome back to Madison director lines are open eight four four nine six seven two seven eight nine

want to follow up quickly on the threats against the Colorado Supreme Court the Court of Appeals in

Washington just released an unredacted unredacted copy of the underlying the gag order that had been

imposed by Tanya Chutkin they approved it a modified version of it and in this unredacted part

there been three pages in the original order but the unredacted part says there was a government

official and they didn't name them but if you wanted so you can find out by going and looking

the court file government official was forced to flee from his home after Trump shared his

address online this is in the unredacted gag order he left his home and then he has stopped

commenting on Trump because he's afraid the original is a 68 page order and three pages had been

blacked out and the truth is that multiple and it says state and local officials face security

threats after they were targeted by Trump the cal the Colorado Supreme Court justices Trump's

people published their their their their email addresses their phone numbers and their office

addresses I don't know if they published their private ones but if you in any in any respect cross

Trump you you're going to be targeted by death threats and that is somebody we cannot have as

president of the United States we can simply not have somebody like that as president of the United

States okay very quickly before we get to the budget Rudy Giuliani declared bankruptcy chapter 11

he disclosed in his bankruptcy application or petition that he had assets between one in 10

million well you know he has a hundred and forty eight million dollar debt the shame was in

Ruby Freeman but the one to ten million is almost certainly it almost certainly includes his

is condo there's a question in my mind and bankruptcy experts who who specialize in this we

remember you have doctors and you have lawyers but we have individual specialties we're not

specialists in everything that this is something there is a provision the bankruptcy law that if

you committed fraud it's not dischargeable in bankruptcy and they continue to garnish you you

can continue to do anything they want to you question in my mind is if there is fraud involved in the

tort of defamation does that fall into that umbrella and I'm certain that that's going to be very

closely looked at very very closely looked at by by the judges and frankly by shame was and Ruby

Freeman's lawyers they also have however have an emotion against him to force him to stop defaming

them and there's some first amendment issues there but because he's judgment approved now you know

he's bankrupt he figures he can get away with it and the judges are going to have to wrestle with

that I think I would enter in order that he has to stop he's ordered to stop falsely saying that

they had rigged the election and if he continues to do it put him in jail mark from the sack my

friend thanks for calling mark what's in your mind today I did all when you just said their math I

mean Rudy Rudy Giuliani needed to be made to pay the price you can't just keep he's just because

he's supposed to bankrupt now he can't continue to crime and say I'm not there's no consequences to it

and for these people making threats I mean any of these threats that to anyone should be should

be looked into by law enforcement and if that threat was made it needs to be prosecuted you know

that that I you know that it is just ridiculous that these people don't have the imagination you know

that that if they're just pleased with somebody you know they said I might just just pleasure

sometimes we go results in my hand some of these politicians I hope they never get a decent

night sleep and they're pursued by the the theories of Greek myth or the dreams are the subject

to the penalty of tantalists or Prometheus but I don't want anything actually physical to happen

to them but these people making death threats need to be they need to be held to account I don't

care if they just well I was drunk and I mean you know I was inspired by Donald Trump to do this

BS those people need to spend a little bit of time in jail for doing that yeah I couldn't

agree more and they they threatened the babies they threatened the kid the the relatives they

threatened the wives and that's a mafia tactic I mean it truly is a mafia tactic that can't be

countenance that cannot absolutely cannot be be tolerated and there aren't that many

prosecutions them because there's so many of these threats this guy's a walking threat he's a

walking crime scene the guy's a walking crime scene and so he will you'll say these things and

so far he's gotten away because judges are afraid to throw him in jail for contempt when he violates

a gag order and I if anybody else did this and there were that many death threats against his

enemies they would be criminally charged I think you know I guess the question is how many

criminal charges is for Jack Smith supposed to bring I mean he's bringing them in DC he's bringing

them in Marlago Fanny Wells is bringing them in Atlanta you know the Tisha James in New York I

mean the guy is a walking crime scene that's what he is Matt the middle to my friend thanks

to come Matt what's in your mind today hello mr. Flynn I called a while back about America and its

relationship to violence that I think it becoming clear that we're in trouble I think that if

Trump does come to power again with all he wants to do I think we will become a lot like Russia

in the sense that you know there will be no real rule of law and journalists will be targeted and

there'll be a lot more violence and we're already kind of used to violence and numb to it as a

country so I really fear that we're headed down a dark path I also want to just say that we shouldn't

feel like we're all that different than the people in China Russia or Germany who all suffered

whole horrors beyond our imagination because they followed the wrong man and they felt for bad ideas

and here we are again so thanks again for what you do and like to hear what you think right

great call Matt right and I think you're under something but I I'm gonna put a more optimistic

aspect to it in Germany once Hitler took office in China after Mao Zedong and in Russia after

Stalin now after Putin those countries with the exception of Germany for certainly Russian China

did not have the broad range of institutions that we have that I think are going to survive even a

Trump presidency although I want to stress he ain't going to win he ain't going to win he's a

thug in a criminal these betrayed us to Putin in the fact I don't care what the polls say now

they show Biden's very competitive in fact beating him in some areas and some polls beating him

totally but at some point the people in this country are not going to vote for a guy with

this much drama this was criminality and this much dishonesty I do not think in any of them

but see your point just take our military our military my view is incorruptible if you take a

look at the militaries in Russia and China and then in Germany sort of the pressure and military

tradition where they initially obeyed the chancellor no matter what but in this country in our

service academies in anapolis west point air force academy postcard academy merchant marine

academy it is drilled into them for the first day of classes that we are a country where the

military is run by civilians and they they're not to get involved in politics now if you have a

civilian Donald Trump who orders them to seize voting machines they're not going to do it the one

lapsen that was Lafayette Park if you remember in Lafayette Park where he went over to that church

and held up the bible and all that and General Milley walked with him in fatigues and Trump's

people beat up journalists smash cameras punch them that is very similar to one of these other

countries but it was pretty clear that he was contemplating telling the military to seize the

voting machines that would have happened in it did happen in Russia China and Germany that I

don't think would happen here number one number two our federal judiciary yes we have the six

torrentulas on the spring court yes we have the she wolf down in Marlago and we have this clown

in Amarillo Texas but by and large life time appointments and they are not in my judgment going

to cave the final thing is we have a media now yeah small presses that kind of thing can get bullied

but when you have the the networks ABC NBC CBS you have CNN the New York Times Washington Post

Wall Street Journal I do not believe that somebody like Trump will be able to boss them around

so we have some some core institutions that those countries even Germany as it turned out

didn't have the way they should have had it okay I want to talk right now about how the

the house is weaponizing the deal the budget deal that Kevin McCarthy and Joe Biden

entered into in the April May time period this year and they are beginning to realize

that that possibly gives them what they want there's a guy named Russ Voight V O I G H T who is

Trump's Office of Management and in budget chief he's a right wing not bad guy and he's advising

them he's advising Mark Johnson I don't think Mike Johnson I don't think Mike Johnson knows anything

but he's great at sliding around sliding around but remember something under the deal

that Trump and McCarthy went into an April 1 if there isn't a budget for the remainder of the year

there will be across the board cuts of 1% and that includes defense that includes everything

so in other words all the Republicans have to do is do another continued resolution

from January 19th for four of the agencies in February 2nd for the rest of them remember that was

the extension last time and just say April 1 then they get an automatic 1% cut from the

Pelosi budget which is what the continuing resolution would do now if on April 1 if that's

what they do they just put in a continuing resolution to limp along the April 1 non-defense spending

will have to be cut by 73 billion dollars defense spending will have to be cut by 26 billion

there's another benchmark in the deal if they limp along to the April 30 with the existing

budget and the continuing resolution the non-defense spending will fall by 43 billion

and defense spending by 10 billion well some of those figures believe it or not are the amounts

that the freedom caucus is targeting they don't necessarily like the defense cuts but they

certainly like the other one and chip Roy who's that very strange right wing guy he looks like

Lenin he has like a goatee and a mustache and very very hard eyes he looks exactly like Vladimir Lenin

but in any event he said just yesterday that if that's what happens if they just maybe they will

do a continuing resolution not shut down the government keep it going to April 1 he says quote

that would give us what the freedom caucus wanted all along end quote end quote now there are also

side deals that the House agreed to after Biden and McCarthy made their deal that if that happened

if the 1% automatic cuts kicked in on April 1 there was still be a side deal in certain things

Mike Johnson just came out and said he doesn't think that's enforceable

so then there'll be a negotiation nobody wants defense cuts not with Ukraine and Gaza

the Hamas invading Israel we're not we're not going to put up with defense cuts

and G threatening again to go into Taiwan we can't have that and then in the other hand they're

going to want on the other side not the draconian cuts in some some of the other discretionary

non-defense social service areas right now this is an absolute up in the air kind of shoot out

in the okay carol I mean everybody is sitting back and they're all you know think they're very

sly and they're going to do this and they can do that did it ever occur to the Republicans

that maybe do something good for America but through a budget to October 1st you idiots

but just stay tuned this is what is going to happen in my judgment this is very likely what's going to

happen coming up there was a swap with Venezuela for some prisoners with some interesting wrinkles and

overtones

Do you mind me? Blood in the steaks of town of Chicago. Blood on the rise.

Welcome back to Mad Plum Director. Lines are open 844-967-2789.

Well, we had a prisoner swap with Venezuela, and I'll tell you something. My entire life

If I had heard those words, I would have said, what? With Venezuela. I mean, Venezuela at one time

was the wealthiest country in South America, wealthier than Argentina and Chile.

They were oil, a member of OPEC, and they had a functioning government, and then Hugo Chavez took

over. He introduced a communist economy. He introduced a, he got rid of democracy,

rest people, kill people, steal money. Somehow they let them get away with it. They let

them get away with it. So we have a lot of Venezuelan refugees coming up here. Venezuelan

Venezuelan people are very hard working and very trustworthy, and we've got to square that

country away real quick. But here is what the swap was, and I think most of us haven't paid a lot

of attention to prisoners in Venezuela, but in the swap, six Americans that Maduro, he's the

successor to Chavez, six Americans, and then four others were released. They'd been there.

In addition, we released a guy named Alex Sob, just like the car, SAB, Alex Sob.

Mr. Sob took the liberty of stealing $350 million. He's an ally of Maduro, and I think Maduro

wanted him bad because Maduro is getting a slice of, Maduro is as crooked as a dog sign leg.

Crooked as a dog sign leg, and Maduro got a slice. I'm sure rather an hefty slice of the 350.

The money was stolen in Venezuela, so it didn't impact the United States, but he tried to put it

in the United States bank it here. That's the violation of our banking laws. So even though we didn't

want to give them up, you know, basically he's a corrupt individual going back to a corrupt

administration, and we got all these other people. And they wanted sanctions relief. We sanctioned

them. We sanctioned them. Not as bad as Russia, not as bad as Iran, and North Korea, but there are

sanctions that are really affecting Venezuela. And I think that's what Maduro had with all of this.

But there was one other prisoner that Maduro released. And this is a guy, I forgot about this guy.

And his name is Leonard Glen Franco, but his nickname is Fat Leonard. And that's how he's known.

Most people don't know his name. They know him as Fat Leonard. Fat Leonard was involved in the

largest US Navy bribery case in the history of our country. There's a lot of money, and somehow

he got to some naval people. And I think he's a Malaysian businessman, so it may have been over

somewhere in the Pacific, and he got them to help them steal money. And he was convicted.

2015, this happened, and then he was convicted. Somehow managed to slip away, and he got to

Venezuela, and he wanted to silence. But Maduro, of course, would stab his own grandmother in the

back for a bottle of horse radish. So Maduro stabbed them, figuratively speaking, and ship Fat Leonard

up here. So we will have the pleasure of feeding and housing Fat Leonard for quite a few years.

So that was the gist of what happened. What are the prospects of Venezuela returning to democracy?

What are the prospects of Cuba returning to democracy? What are the prospects of

Nicaragua returning to democracy? And some of the others are very shaky. I mean, Mexico is a

democracy, but it's a corrupt narco state where drug cartels essentially threaten and bribe and

own much of the government. One of the biggest challenges for American presidents going forward

is to restore South America and Central America to honesty, to democracy. Get rid of the

communists, get rid of the corrupt drug lords and all this business, and try to do it without

military intervention. That's a very tall order, but we've gone a little bit in the right direction

by getting back six Americans and four others by getting Fat Leonard back to throw him in the

who's gal around here. And what we did is we gave up Alex Sab who's a thief from Venezuela itself

and perhaps some sanctions relief. I'm not sure about how strongly that's going to impact this.

I'll tell you, there's a couple of other interesting things that have come up.

Interesting to see things that have come up. Voss, Robin Voss, just finally, finally grudgingly said,

well, it's, it looks like it's not likely that we're going to impeach

Janet Pro to save it. Well, okay guy, as if that's a huge accomplishment. He was originally

going to do it to pander to the Trump people in the state, pander to the right wing and all that.

And then some backers of Janet Pro to say was backers of the Democratic party and backers of

the Democratic party nationally put in a lot of money on TV ads showing how corrupt it would be

if a woman wins by 10 or 11 points. It was like 55 and a half to 44 and a half.

She wins massively, including Republican counties. She's a great judge.

A spring court race and they are floating impeachment before she got sworn in.

She was sworn in the beginning of August this year and they were talking about it in July.

And you know, it takes a criminal offense or a corrupt act in the office to do it.

As she had no criminal offense and she had no corrupts in the office because she hadn't taken

office. She had no acts at all. And so it was pretty clearly an attack on the peaceful transition

of power. Folks didn't like it. And I think that, you know, I've talked to some people in

Republican businessmen who they don't particularly like Trump because they want the peaceful transition

of power and the idea of impeaching somebody who wins a statewide election by more than 10 points.

The minute she wins the election before she can get sworn in, I did not sit well with them and

I think boss knew that. So, you know, stand by. He talked about impeaching vegan wolf,

you know, the executive director of the Wisconsin Election Commission and then a

Dane County judge put an injunction against them on that so they can't do that.

I suspect when Janet Florida say what's in the court issue, they're genuinely under opinion.

I have no idea what it's going to be. It's not an easy solution as to how you unravel this stuff.

I'm sure this kind of talk will be coming up again. Okay, I'll say what? A lot of news and weather

coming up and then not only does Trump double down on the poison blood business, the Hitler business,

the Mitch McConnell had a terrific response coming up.
