Mark Husen from Bellin Sports Medicine is in the studio this morning, and he takes time to promote all of the local teams going to state this week—the memories for the teams, kids, and families. Food becomes part of the conversation, as usual. Mark shares stories about his Italian family, and Maino whines about boiled dinner (cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and turnips). Maino asks Jim what the first thing he grabs on the Thanksgiving table is. Jim's response: "The outside fork." Maino said, "Sweet potatoes." Then Bryan Milz and Tim Marquart, along with the Green Bay Officials Association, are in to promote the need for more officials for school sports. Besides the need for younger people to get involved, there is a real need for women officials! Ladies, check this out!!!

Maino and the Mayor is a part of the Civic Media radio network and airs Monday through Friday from 6-9 am on WGBW in Green Bay and on WISS in Appleton/Oshkosh.
