Meg Deem from the Friends of the Brown County Library stops by to talk about their Give-A-Kid-A-Book program, which is currently accepting books for distribution. The annual book collection invites individuals, families, businesses, churches, schools, clubs, and organizations to donate new, unwrapped books that will be given as gifts to local children, babies through age 18, in low-income families. Book distribution will be held in December in partnership with the Green Bay Salvation Army Holiday Assistance program. Then Aimee Herrick from the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce fills Jim and Nikki in on the Education Shining Star Awards.
