Chelsea Kocken is in the studio to fill us in on H.O.O.A.H. WI's Veterans Suicide Awareness March on Saturday, November 9th. This 12th Annual event is held to raise awareness for the issue of veteran suicide, to show support to veterans and their families – those battling their mental health and those who have lost the battle, and to bring in funds to support the many H.O.O.A.H. WI programs available to all Wisconsin veterans. If you'd like to attend but are worried about being able to do the entire march, Chelsea assures us you can walk a mile or two or do the whole march. Every effort helps create awareness of veteran suicide. Then we're excited to have Amanda Reif on the show from the De Pere Historical Society to talk about the connection the community has with writer Stephen King. His story in his book "The Body" which led to the movie "Stand By Me". She also puts Maino is his place when it comes to anthropology and paleontology. She got "the bell".
