Guests: Brandon Smith, Jennifer Gille, Lona Young
The hour starts off with Harry Boyce and Chandra Johnson joining us from Team 1848. Team 1848 works to provide young men and women an opportunity to participate in the sport of basketball while gaining valuable life skills which will help improve their quality of life. Team 1848 is basically Hard Work and Love. Then two more wonderful community members joins us. Lona Young from Chicago House of Hoagies and Brandon Smith from Baker Man's Tasty Treats are in the house to talk about an event that gives back to the community. This Saturday they're holding the "Pay It Forward" event which will provide free food for the homeless and they'll also have a job fair connection at the event.
