Guests: JJ Corn, Tarl Knight
This hour really shows two very different, but wonderful, sides to our community. First off, JJ Corn, former professional boxer, shares the story of wanting more than living in Neopit, WI. Crime, alcohol, drugs. JJ wanted more for his life. His story starts in the army and comes back around to his current life's work which includes connecting with young people, especially those on the reservations. He wants to show them that with hard work and a support system they can achieve anything they want. He is currently a dancer with the Menominee tribe. Then Tarl Knight from the Tarlton Theater talks about "Keys To The City" which is an incredible art and music "festival" in 5 Green Bay neighborhoods. 5 donated pianos will be placed around the city, painted on May 19th, then they'll be left in those locations for folks to stop by and play a little music all summer long.
