Price gouging algorithms, private equity and hedge fund profiteering, consolidation, and the history of redlining and lending discrimination have combined in a perfect storm to make affordable housing a pipe dream for many and worse yet, an existential crisis for families struggling the most. Toss in race-bating rhetoric, NIMBY, and all the rest, and this president is nearly certain to fail the middle class when it comes to the thing we all need FIRST and FOREMOST - stable, safe, reliable, and affordable housing. Shame!
