Also, huge grocery corporations admit that they keep prices artificially high in order to boost their profits. Not to boost their workers' pay. But to keep their shareholders reaping big bucks.

For the last half hour today, Maggie talks with Neal Plotkin. Neal ran for Wisconsin's 8th Senate District seat in 2020 against former Assemblyperson Alberta Darling. He also ran his own small business for several decades and currently works as a substitute teacher at the public high school his three children attended. The youngest of those children, Jess, produces today's show!
