Lee is a dedicated organizer, attorney, and progressive state legislator. In 2022, Summer made history when she was elected to the US House of Representatives for Pennsylvania’s 12th District, becoming the first Black woman ever elected to Congress from Western Pennsylvania. Today, she joins us to discuss the American Stability Act, a piece of legislation she introduced last week that seeks to balance out our country's income equality.

At the bottom of the hour, Dom Salvia joins Maggie to talk about the devastation in the wake of hurricane Helene.
