Yeah, I wasn't doing it.

So I was like, I'm not paying $1,000 to sleep on somebody couch.

Grab your lunch, hit send on that email, and get ready for the best hour of your day.

My way of thinking is that the parents do all they can.

But once the kids leave off that door, whatever have you, they make their own decisions.

I don't care if you nine or 99.

It's still your decision about the situations that you get involved yourself in.

We talking about tax paying citizens.

Look into their taxes.

Look into this.

We talking about elected officials doing backdoor deals and somehow she still wanna blame immigrants.

That's what we talking about right now.

We following the money and you still wanna blame black people and immigrants and welfare and all of these things for policies and backdoor deals that put poor people in worse

position.

Live from the American Family Insurance Studio at the Third Street Market Hall.

Maybe Shannon

Like you said, they want to pat their pockets, but they need a reason to push things through.

And I guess the low-hanging fruit is, OK, well, this is a problem, right?

Y'all want to fix the problem, and they just hope nobody looks into it like, wait, when did food trucks

Please bring them to the conversation or if you in your car, tell them, hey, man, come go on a ride with me for two hours or something or just go by the lake, you know, and enjoy some of these last warm days that we got coming up, man.

So that's how you bring somebody to lunch.

We really growing something special over here, man.

Shannon, we got an interesting menu today.

We got an interesting menu for our cousins today, you know, it's uh, it's we we can we might be getting into some family business Today, all right.

So, you know what what happens with family

Maybe Shannon

the best place to do it.

All right,

right at the right at the lunch table, right?

So Right whoa on the menu today Ribbit on the menu today, y'all we have three beers.

Okay.

That's all I had Jamie West

Democratic candidate.

She showed up, seemingly a bit intoxicated, and we're going to get into some of that.

We're going to get into some of that in early voting.

We're going to give you all the locations again, all right, for what early voting locations and the times for today.

So we're going to give you all that every day until early voting is over because the times are different every day.

Some remain the same.

Then we got what's popping with Shannon at 1230.

You do not want to ever miss what's popping with Shannon because it'd be spilling over into the beans and the sides and whatnot that we be having on the menu.

Shannon, tell them what you got on what's popping on today.

Maybe Shannon

What's popping with Shannon?

So today.

We are talking about Tyler Perry in a recently resurfaced interview that he had.

And he was talking finances.

I know y'all like to talk finances and who y'all give money to.

And he was getting into that.

So we don't talk about Tyler Perry in that 1230.

We'll tell you a little more about what we talking about and what's popping with Shannon.

Again, don't miss it.

I know y'all like when we talk about the finances and where that money going.

So.

1230.

You know, we got a bunch of pocket watching cousins in our family.

They be having opinions about our breads.

But we're going

to get into

that.

And then for the meat and potatoes today, y'all, we want to talk about how do men cope?

OK.

We want to talk about how do we cope as men?

And then I think it's only fair that maybe tomorrow, Shannon, we do a deep dive in

on how do women cope as well.

And I know that's on the fly, but maybe we could do a part two to this because I think it's very important that we give a full scope or at least to the extent that we can given the time on both perspectives.

But we want to get into how do men cope, man, because we saw a clip, and we'll play that clip a little later today,

from Ryan Clark and artists that's been doing pretty good on Ryan Clark's platform to pivot with Big X the plug.

And he he asked him, like, you know, are you OK?

You know, what do you do to keep yourself happy and so forth?

And he gave some very interesting responses.

So we're going to get in to that as well.

And then, Shannon, we want to get into loyalty to what extent?

What are we loyal to who are we loyal to what is it costing us and is it?

You know a two-way street or is it one-sided so What do you think of that menu Shannon?

I

Maybe Shannon

Think that's a great menu.

I think that's a great menu and I feel like it all you know flows perfectly.

I think I think you know

We on to something today.

We are on to something.

Let's do it, y'all.

So don't go anywhere.

If you need to go and get you a drink to go with that sandwich or whatever, you can go grab it right now and hurry right back, because we'll be right back after these messages and getting into the menu right here on the award-winning 10170 Truth.

The lunch break for the Rayoniddy and maybe Shannon will be right back on the award-winning 10170 Truth, live on YouTube and 10170Truth.com.

Shannon, you know what time it is?

You ready?

I'm ready.

What time is it, Shannon?

It's rush time.

Dang, she rushed it.

She just rushed it, dawg.

I was trying to hold up.

We

just gonna use a hot key from the good take that we did the other day There we go.

So he gonna make us practice it and get this right.

Maybe Shannon

He said we got to get it

Yeah, we gon' share

it.

There you go.

I like to start.

I can't say too much.

Start giving things away.

They'll be like, Ray, we can't do that.

But.

Maybe Shannon

I wrote that back.

Right.

833-212-1017.

That is the number to dial.

833-212-1017 is the number to dial, man.

Let's go and get in to this menu, man.

So, Shannon, you want to take the first one?

Because this politician was pretty, pretty fun, T.

Maybe Shannon

Definitely, definitely.

So we got a politician today,

right?

Maybe Shannon

Well, not today.

Okay.

Her name was Jamie West.

And this happened a few days ago.

Actually, she's a Democratic candidate for Fayette County Council District 4 in Indiana, and she has been going viral.

All right.

So the last day, she's become one of the most famous county council candidates in America because October 9th.

Candidate forum on a what TV3 I think it is that's probably one of their news stations or you know They did a 10-minute table and West was slurring her words and then she was she was asked what's the most unpopular decision that you'd make if elected her answer Fire all the Republicans.

I don't even talk to them.

I don't like them

Um, so that's what she said on TV.

And then when they asked her what her final message to the voters was, she looked straight into the camera and guess what she said, right?

Guess what she said?

Maybe Shannon

Her final message to voters.

Um, vote vote for me on election day.

Maybe Shannon

Mm hmm.

Yep.

Yep.

Something along those lines.

What she said was.

We have guns, too.

You know, and obviously after that clip going viral and popping up everywhere, like, I mean, everybody's talking about this clip.

Even Pierce Morgan was talking about it and they they had to erase the question.

Right.

Have you been drinking?

Like.

People start asking questions because clearly my girl was not well if you see the interview she is laid back in this chair She looked

in

Maybe Shannon

like she had a backyard barbecue with the with the family.

She don't care Listen, she said we have guns too But when they asked if she had been drinking before the interview and she said I had a Coors light I had a beer Just one.

That's what she said.

She had one beer.

All right

And then she finally said, okay, three.

Three beers.

What do you want me to say?

I drank three beers.

Ray, I don't think three beers do that.

Do you think three beers do that?

So I'm not a beer drinker.

So I can't necessarily explain.

I can't, you know, but I would think not.

But you never know.

She may have been like mixing it with medication.

I don't know.

Like, I don't know.

Maybe Shannon

I think it was more than three beers.

And I.

I'm not a beer drinker either, but I've seen how people put beers back.

I feel like it's less potent than like taking shots.

And I know people that can take three shots and not be up there like that.

Like, come on, lady.

What are we doing?

So her explanation was I was nervous.

I was going into a room full of Republicans.

I understand having nerves, but that you take a little shot, not three beers, ma'am.

Like, what are we doing?

And also

why wait a minute.

So you say take a shot not three beers.

What's the

Maybe Shannon

difference?

I doubt it was three beers.

Let's just be honest.

She had a six pack.

All right of Milwaukee's best.

We know how that go down.

I don't think it was three beers, but I do think one shot will like help calm you down a little bit.

Help the nerves.

I do believe that.

But whatever

Maybe Shannon

she was doing, absolutely not

part of me feels like

Maybe Shannon

your speech is slurred.

I feel like a shot.

It may be not a shot is kind of equivalent to a beer or three.

Maybe Shannon

What?

Yeah.

So listen, one shot.

Have you slurring your speech, Ray?

No, not me.

No.

Maybe Shannon

Exactly.

Not me either.

But maybe Jamie West

Maybe Shannon

one shot would have got her right.

Maybe Jamie West Jamie Jamie West ain't have no three beers like I want to root for it because I love this didn't care but girl Like y'all got to see this interview.

She literally just looked like she was like I don't care I got guns too.

What's up?

Like

my girl was

Maybe Shannon

just chilling All right, so she says she was nervous and she was going into a room full of Republicans truth nation do y'all

Do you all take a little shot or a couple beers if you're feeling nervous?

Tell us about it.

All right.

So here's the thing.

She insists she wasn't that intoxicated and that she knows what she's talking about when it comes to Indiana politics

and that she

Maybe Shannon

was sober for the interview.

Though plenty of the viewers says she sounded slurred there too even on the interview where she was explaining or so So this sounds like we got to watch some more interviews because it sounds like this is what my girl is doing

Well, let's let's play the interview.

We've

got this woman running for Fayette County Council seat is getting national attention after a local TV appearance.

Candidate Jamie West recently participated in a candidate forum and made several statements that many there found strange.

CBS 4 is Max Lewis spoke with those who have to decide whether to give her their vote.

I deliver a lot of groceries and packages for my community.

So if you trust me, you know,

delivering your groceries.

Trust me with your vote.

Jamie West's appearance on a local candidate forum got off to an interesting start.

West is running as a Democrat to represent the 4th District in Fayette County.

She was asked about property tax cuts in data centers, but the portion getting the most attention is when she was asked what her most unpopular decision would be.

Firing all Republicans.

I wouldn't let them.

I mean.

I don't even talk

to him.

I don't like him.

Which led to a long rant with some strange statements.

You don't share a nephew trying to blow my

head off.

But, you know, what are you going to do?

Well, that brings us to your opportunity to say just a few last words to the voters.

We have guns too.

Clips of West's appearance have gone viral online and have been picked up by several national outlets.

Early voting has already started here in Fayette County and we stopped by one of these early polling locations to ask voters what they thought about West's comments.

It's you know, it's beautiful that we have candidates like that.

Dale Lanning hadn't seen the forum, but after we showed him, he said that won't fly in Fayette County.

Well, she just rambles.

I mean, she don't, she don't say anything worth listening to.

She just rambles.

I think she's nerdy fight.

Iona and Carl McFarlane saw West comments on national TV last night and came out to vote today.

Yeah, she did see the little odd.

I don't think she knows.

What's up and down?

We reached out to West to ask about her appearance, but she never responded.

Messages to the local Democratic Party went unanswered as well.

In Fayette County, Max Lewis, CBS.

Man.

Maybe Shannon

You remember when you was saying some of these Republicans boost up people they know going to lose?

Yeah.

Maybe Shannon

This might be one.

One of these situations because how do we get here?

So I'd

like to know the demographics of this This place like

Maybe Shannon

Indiana

Yeah, well right now that not is it Indiana or that town and I need to know a little bit more about what she was running for Because I want to know what the other choices were there if that's how she was coming

But

Maybe Shannon

and then for Ray to say she didn't sound

slurred

Maybe Shannon

to me.

What y'all think?

Troublemation?

Did she sound

slurred?

She didn't sound slurred.

She sounded convicted in her messaging to me.

Maybe Shannon

She was saying

truth,

Maybe Shannon

man.

That's what I thought.

Well, I think, I think.

I think our homegirl was slapped, just like Jasmine Jazz West said, slapped.

All right.

Slapped and slurred.

Slapped and slurred, man.

Moving it along on the menu.

Do we got time to go over these, uh, the polling locations, Brother Zeal, or take us to Bragg and do it after?

All right, y'all, when we come back, we'll get into what's poppin!

Shannon!

Right here on the award-winning 101.7 True.

Since

I ate all that food.

I drank a beer.

I drank another beer.

Three beers.

Four beers.

Oh, no.

Five beers.

Six beers.

Seven beers.

Eight beers.

Nine beers.

And a Bloody May.

You're listening to The Lunch Break with Rayonidi and maybe Shannon, where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.

Now it's time to tap it.

Now it's time to tap in to What's Poppin' with Maybe Shannon.

What's Poppin' with Maybe Shannon.

Live on a lunch break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon.

Live on the lunch break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon.

Hey Shannon, can you tell us what's poppin'?

Maybe Shannon

What's up, what's up, Truth Nation?

It is 12.30 so that means this is what's poppin' with Maybe Shannon.

Live here on the lunch break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon, you are listening to the award winning 101.7 at Truth.

So.

We told you always gonna talk about Tyler Perry and in his finances and who's he who he giving money to all right, so Let's start this off by asking If you became wealthy tomorrow would your family still have to work and if you gave a relative a job and they weren't showing up Would you fire them?

Because Tyler Perry said he did exactly that to his own arm

An older conversation with Kirk Franklin is making rounds again with Tyler Perry explaining why he stopped financially supporting certain relatives.

So this isn't something new that he just announced, but it does raise the question that is worth bringing to the table.

When you make it, how much does your family get to expect from you?

All right, and according to Tyler Perry his aunt kept asking him for money So what he did was offered her a job But when he gave her that job she repeatedly missed work showed up late just not doing a job.

All right, so he fired her So now you fired so I'm gonna guess she didn't get no money and she ain't got a job from him, you know according Yeah, according to Tyler Perry He

would rather employ his relatives than give them money which i do understand personally so

imagine the

Maybe Shannon

next family gathering when auntie looking across the table would that make it awkward y'all think she's still coming to the thing i'll still go to tyler perry house if you buy me look i don't care as long as i can get some money

some of that chitlins

Maybe Shannon

i'm sure it's chitlins extra hot sauce thank you

I know they cleaned good over there.

He got Monday So underneath the awkwardness the real question is if somebody gives you an opportunity Does being family mean you don't have to meet those expectations that come with it?

I feel like a lot of us have seen this happen, right?

Where like a family member has an opportunity or a really close friend is given an opportunity and they just not living up to those expectations I personally feel like

That's probably what happened in this situation where she thought oh he just give me this job I don't got to take it serious cuz I'm his You know I'm saying like I could show up whenever I don't even got to do the job good it This is a play thing, you know, and I think that's one of the most disrespectful things ever Because it makes him look bad.

You know I'm saying so look and trust me.

I've been in them situations Where I tried to look out for somebody

And they playing like oh you ain't want no money.

You ain't you ain't want none.

You all right Listen right you've been in them situations

many a time

Maybe Shannon

Tell

me Perry

Maybe Shannon

also explained Perry also explained that after his mother died in 2009 He gave relatives that he was supporting 60 days to find employment

Before he stopped financially supporting them.

He basically He basically said his mom at the time was asking that he would um That he would support these family members and he only was given the money because his mom was like look out for them

and soon

Maybe Shannon

he died he had a Press print release go ahead

60 days after I don't even think 60 days from the funeral I think 60 days from the death you say y'all gotta find a job which I mean What you think broken

away from Lucky mama still alive is the only reason y'all got these jobs

Maybe Shannon

I wonder if they knew that was the only reason.

I know they was like, please, hang on.

She probably asked him, like, baby, please, don't cut your family off, at least while I'm here.

Maybe Shannon

Aw, yeah, as soon as she was gone, somebody was in the mail.

He gave them 60 days after she passed or after the funeral.

Maybe Shannon

That's how I took it.

We do have the clip, brother Z getting it fired up for us.

And I'm going to let you hear what he said.

As a matter of fact, we're going to play it now.

I feel it.

I fired my aunt.

She said she wanted a job.

She would always call asking for money, asking for money.

I'm like, OK, I was sending the money.

I said, listen, I want to help you.

I don't want to help you build this thing, not the welfare team.

So let me give you a job.

She wasn't coming in, calling in all the time.

She said, OK, well, you got to go.

Because you want me to hand you the money, but you don't want to work for it.

See, that doesn't work for me.

And it's the same way with my son.

Like, he's 10 years old.

Like, there's certain things that he wants.

He has to do chores and work for it.

I don't believe in giving us things that are just going to handicap us.

That is the worst thing you can do.

And I've had family members that I've done that too, because my mother has asked me to.

And when she passed away in 2009, I sent all of them letters saying, listen,

You got 60 days to become gainfully employed because I'm not going to keep supporting you like 100%.

They all got jobs.

And it wasn't even jobs where they're making a lot of money, but it was a job.

It was something else for them to do to feel surprised.

That's the same thing I would want somebody to do for me.

Maybe Shannon

833-212-1017 is the number two dial.

833-212-1017 is the number to dial.

I know some people was calling it tacky that he did that.

I mean, the funeral must have been very awkward.

They probably was looking at him like, this what you gonna do right now?

We going through some pain.

What'd you think

Maybe Shannon

about that, Ray?

And what did you take from

that?

I think it's some truth into what he's saying because, you know, I've seen it.

I've seen it where there's one person predominantly, you know, taking care of everything.

And it it it becomes more enabling.

You know what I mean?

And then like people get more comfortable versus like, hey, man, like, yo, this is this is a sustainable.

You know what I mean?

This is a sustainable.

So.

And just like I suspected, it was something that was axed of him from his mom.

Like, yo, take care of your family.

And he was like, all right, mama, I've done what you said.

Now it's time to move forward.

But then he said he was hiring his aunt and she wasn't coming in and not doing stuff.

And then that's how family, that's how friends do you.

Sometimes they feel like they're comfortable with you or because they feel like they know you a certain way that they don't have to show up in the same professional light and Then you know for some people it's awkward to have to navigate their professional relationship after it's like Auntie I'm gonna have to get rid of you, but it's not like he ain't he ain't even called he said I sent them letters

Maybe Shannon

Man, Reginald Jones said, Auntie gonna find herself applying for unemployment compensation.

But yeah, man, I think sometimes you're just the first person in your family with a study paycheck and maybe business is finally doing well.

Maybe you work in two jobs and people see your income without seeing how exhausted you are.

And that brings me to my point where

I get I ain't gonna lie

right

Maybe Shannon

I get frustrated because That's happened to me before we're like somebody will consistently like ask me for money and I know they ain't working or I know you know what I'm saying I know I've tried and I like I've literally like I'd be exhausted right all right like you know every time you call you like you only way to work you leave and work I'm always working and I got people that will hit me up like

You got some money and I literally I've offered jobs like I've got a plethora of resources a such and such iron is to the point where like Sometimes you got to make people feel like I'm not even feel awkward because like I'm a given person but after it's repeated It's like yo, what's going on?

Do you need help?

Do you want me to help you come up with a plan like so we can't we don't end up back here?

Do you need a job?

I know such and such is hiring.

What are you interested in doing?

Like, I'll have those conversations with people now because it's like, I'm not about to, I'm tired, boss.

And I'm working, I'm working like crazy.

And you, you live in La Vida Loca over there.

Man, please.

Do people want to

Maybe Shannon

work?

Do people want to work, Shannon?

Ah.

Ah.

Y'all for the old DaVinci and Apology.

Shannon, you got the phone lines blowing up, man.

Let's take one of the calls.

We're going to take Blake right now.

And then when we come back from break, we're going to talk to Miss Yvonne.

But Blake, how are you doing?

You live on what's popping with maybe Shannon right now?

Man, I got to tell you, I appreciate y'all.

What's happening?

Y'all doing great.

Good job, man.

All commercials, everything.

You guys are doing your thing.

Appreciate it.

But on this birthday thing, OK, when I was 13,

You know cutting grass, painting, all that type of stuff.

Then I started cooking and then, you know, you get your first job.

Then you get a taste of the streets, you know what I mean?

And then you get all that to work.

Then you decide you want to do the streets or you want to work after the 17 year break from the world because I was hostile.

And I was forcing it to make it out.

And if people know you got a nest egg or not, don't start something you don't want to finish.

And that means giving people stuff.

I give.

Don't ask me for anything.

Let me know what you know I got.

Don't ask me for anything.

Cause if you're not out here getting to how I'm getting it, no matter how I'm getting it, long as ain't nobody getting hurt.

Don't ask me for nothing.

Cause you asked me not to get nothing.

Everybody that you able, get it yourself.

And if, and if somebody has it, let them be able to give.

That's, that's, that's all Tyler was saying.

He went from standing up under the bridge and, uh, and George in his car to being where yet nobody helped him.

but his self get your own bootstrap to get them up like my sister knew him when they was when they like mess with a married man or like my niece didn't want to run the streets or whatever don't you don't need no man to take care of you like like like like my lady over there Shannon she's got her own thing she's got like somebody wants some money I can help you get a job or like when you're out here begging and then I get I think I've seen somewhere I can get you a job you know what I mean stop stop asking come come go go and get it man if you're especially if you're able

It doesn't matter if you got a million of you guys got five.

It ain't yours.

Get your

own.

Y'all be safe.

Be good.

Maybe Shannon

Man, thank you for that call.

We gonna get into some more calls.

I definitely agree with them.

Get up and get out here.

And I know some people aren't able and some people have, you know, other things going on, completely understanding.

But if you are able, get up, get out of here.

It was some work.

Get out of here.

Maybe Shannon

Get out of here.

Get out of my phone bagging.

Listen we don't get right back into it after these messages We have a few other callers on the line call us a three three two one two ten seventeen It's the number to dial make sure you guys share share it if you on YouTube share it

Share it to your cousins.

Bring them to the table.

Tell them stop asking for stuff.

Or maybe you tell them you can always ask me for stuff.

But we don't get into it after these messages.

Don't go

anywhere.

You're listening to The Lunch Break with Ray Nitty and maybe Shannon, where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.

That's Tyler

Maybe Shannon

Perry.

That's what this is.

What up, y'all?

Welcome back.

Welcome back.

Yes, yes, yes.

This is your favorite, too, in the Brew the Lunch Break crew.

Ray Nitty, maybe Shannon.

DJ Brother Z holding us down with the production and sound, man.

Says the award-winning one on one seven truth live from the American family insurance studios This little Tyler Perry cut kind of smooth man.

What is this

Maybe Shannon

firm?

I'm not sure but they they was using it as a as a song.

Oh It's from family.

I do know that they were using it on Instagram saying Tyler Perry every movie and people was looking

The way Tyler Perry be happening, black women in movies, and they was playing it.

Welcome back, y'all.

833-212-1017.

That is the number to dial.

833-212-1017 is the number to dial.

Shannon.

For those that are just getting in their cars or just punched in on their lunch break and just joined in the conversation today, please let them know what we was just talking about inside what's popping with Shannon.

And then don't forget you got your cousin Miss Yvonne on the line too.

Maybe Shannon

Of course, of course.

So we were just talking about Tyler Perry's interview where he basically said.

After his mom died in 2009, he sent letters to family members that he had been supporting because his mom asked him to support these family members.

But after she passed away, he said, y'all got 60 days to find gainful employment.

Good luck.

He ain't say good luck, but that long story short, that's what happened.

He also talked about how he's not into giving money to his family members.

He will give you a job and he had an aunt.

that consistently asked for money.

He ended up giving her a job and she fumbled the job.

I guess she stopped showing up, she would call in, she was late and he ended up firing her.

So we ended up talking about, I guess, do you think if you had Tyler Perry money, you just feel like, oh, I'll just take care of everybody?

Or do you think he did right by his family by asking them to get jobs and do something productive?

We got cousin Yvonne, you said on the

line.

Maybe Shannon

Hey Yvonne, how you doing?

Okay, how are you?

Good Okay, I remember something Michael Jordan said when he hired his brother and sister I think his sister was his accountant if I'm not mistaken I could be because he's been used and I'm old now but

He gave them contracts and they signed.

And he let them know, now I'm doing this with you all because you're going to have my back.

You're not only family, but you're hired by me.

And I expect you to uphold this contract.

And I think that would be the best thing.

Yes, if I had Tyler Perry money and I needed to hire some relatives,

I would do the same thing Michael Jordan did.

Then the minute you thought we're family and you don't have to come, if you don't want to, that would null and void our contract.

Because I honestly believe what he said.

You don't want to be one of these welfare people that sit not here waiting for the first of the month every month.

to see if they're going to decide to give you your check or not.

The smart thing would be if you go out there and earn your money.

Ever since I was 18, I worked two jobs except when I got married and my husband didn't want me to work the two jobs.

But I did that even through pregnancy and whatever.

And now that I'm retired, I'm glad I worked the two jobs because for

Tension checks are kind of nice.

You're kind of nice.

And people, we're in our 20s and 30s and we're living it up and enjoying life.

And you blink and they say, you know, you're my age.

I don't know.

I think the 40s and 50s were taken from me.

I don't, they went by so fast.

It doesn't seem like that was 20 years.

But it both, those, those two decades flew.

And so I'm just saying people need to think about it, especially when you have family that will hire you.

I mean, to me, that's one of the best things to have because you can sit and negotiate and mama was alive at the time.

So if you felt, well, mama, I asked for a raise and Tyler didn't want to give it to me, but let me show you all that I did.

And their mama could intercede for you too.

So I think it's really kind of irresponsible for relatives to just figure you should get a paycheck.

And that's just my thought.

Appreciate you, cousin Yvonne, for calling in.

And please call in any time you got a thought right here with the lunch break crew.

Shannon, what did you think?

Maybe Shannon

I feel it.

It is irresponsible for people to think, oh, this person has a check.

I'm going to rely on this person.

And personally, I do believe that helping your family, like, that's completely fine.

I'm not saying don't help anyone and just be selfish and stubborn and don't be, you know.

Don't care about other people's situations.

I'm not saying that but help your family and still have boundaries, right?

I'm not like was the was the letters a little harsh 60 days from now y'all getting y'all y'all getting cut off I know they was crying extra hard at that funeral All right, but it was necessary

I mean for grown adults to just be pretty much mooching off that man is insane And you're not giving anything to the situation.

I don't like that.

I don't like it at all for people to But even for people to get the job, right?

And then like just feel like I'm just gonna do whatever because it's my auntie It's my cousin.

It's my niece.

No, you you will be held to a higher standard because

I have this money because the work I put in and I'm paying you because the work I put in you should want to work extra hard Keep giving you some money.

They don't say it that way cuz

you're a billionaire I changed your diaper Tyler Well, who watched you when your mama was at work

Maybe Shannon

And then on top of that didn't somebody say he was living under a

bridge You got me there

You got me there.

Because, by the way, there ain't nobody getting no jobs.

Maybe Shannon

Look, if I

fall off, it's gonna

Maybe Shannon

ruin what I got.

Exactly.

Y'all couldn't even figure out how to get me from under a bridge, and now I'm supposed to take care of all of y'all.

I ain't finna fumble my bag because, nope, I'm so sorry.

I ain't feeling it, y'all.

A33212121017 is the number to dial.

All right, could you fire a relative you hire Ray?

I guess that that

leads us

Maybe Shannon

to the next question quick

quick quick

Maybe Shannon

What if they needed they needed the money right?

No

Maybe Shannon

questions asked.

I need to keep my business like it like yeah, you got to go Does that make it awkward I will connect them with you so you could point them in the right direction for employment

With your

Maybe Shannon

yeah, I'm gonna get a list of resources Like places do you go some resources call these numbers?

Yeah, but if I like I have no problem in trying connecting people to opportunities and things of that nature, but um, you know once you Show me that like hey, I can't rely on you for like real like Serious contract work to the point where it's like I I need to be out there and doing it myself

And it's like, all right then, cool.

It's no point of me hiring you then.

I just do it myself.

Maybe Shannon

At that point, it feel like you working for them.

I'm telling you.

I'm telling you.

I

Maybe Shannon

gave you a job.

I still got to get you the money in.

I got to redo the work that I asked you to do.

Am

I

Maybe Shannon

working for you or you working for me?

I remember.

Maybe Shannon

People really show out.

I had to go meet some folks in the field because I needed.

to show dog how to put staples in the damn stapler.

All right.

Maybe Shannon

No,

I can't make

Maybe Shannon

that.

And I wouldn't have showed up.

Get out.

Get out.

And once

the top is to pay the top is of.

Oh, yeah.

Maybe Shannon

Google is free YouTube is free man like it's just crazy to me and and sometimes I do feel like people weaponizing competence

like

Maybe Shannon

they'll literally act like they can't do the job just so you know what I'll do

How y'all feeling, man?

We getting back into this conversation here today.

Hey, how y'all feeling?

A three three, two on two, 10, 17.

That is the number to dial.

How you feeling, Shannon?

Maybe Shannon

Man, I'm feeling all right, gainfully employed and all, you know,

just stop being

funny.

No, I'm not

Maybe Shannon

a good conversation.

No, I'm all for looking out.

I'm all for looking out for the family, but I'm also all for setting those boundaries because I've seen it go.

Huh?

Okay.

Yeah, just just figuring it out right now as we get ready to transition.

So we get ready to transition into our voting.

We are getting ready for a historic election, y'all.

We are getting ready for a historic election.

And if you was just joining us, if you just get in your cars, this is our two with the lunch break crew, Ray Nitty, maybe Shannon, DJ Brother Z holding us down with the production and sound.

We was just talking about Tyler Perry saying man, I look after moms died y'all have 60 days to get it together All

right

at 60 days to get it together and people had you have to get people off of him You had to get people off of it, man.

So yeah, people might have felt the way so We going on see y'all I know a Shanna says shanna says yeah, I mean nobody but

We got Bob on the line.

Let's go talk to Bob.

See what cousin Bob got to say.

Bob, how you feeling?

Yeah, I feel okay.

I want to say this.

You know, you brought up a good topic.

And I think Tyler prairie or whatever his name is, I know who you're talking

about.

Yes.

The first question I was gonna ask you and wonder was how much Does he really have and he's a billionaire now I Feel that him as well as you to your wonderful people on the air are far too capitalist I just you know

to kick that person down.

Okay.

If you're a billionaire, there's a lot of things.

Or if you're not a billionaire, you do things sometimes, and I've done it for 13 years, that God wants you to do.

You bought with a price.

You don't do what you want.

You're a billionaire.

I mean, maybe when you get down to a million, then you kind of, you know, what do you want to be ma'am do or sure?

Do you want to open up a hot dog thing or do you want to have

let me ask you this because of Bob, right?

What if what if we had already tried that, right?

We we we we also.

we gave money right but then we also say hey let's open up some businesses let's really invest in something so you don't have to

Um, you know, ask or rely on me every month.

Let's put you in a position to, to really be self-sustaining.

And I think, um, is that out there?

Like, um, on the other side of this cousin by people don't really follow through on their end when people set them up to be successful.

And then it goes back into this cycle of just relying and relying.

And I don't know, you know, you know, I.

Two capitalists is, I don't know if you know me enough to put whether I'm capitalist or not, but you're not far off, Bob.

I'll tell you that.

I'll tell you that Bob.

I do believe in capitalism to an extent, right?

But I see what you're saying.

I do believe in helping others as well.

But what I am

against is

enabling, is enabling others.

But I do think we should help if we have the means to help.

A billion dollars is a lot of money.

A billion dollars is a lot of money.

Absolutely Bob.

Absolutely.

Okay, okay.

What is that saying that you say, if first you don't succeed, you try, try, try again.

And then we get to the point where you maybe got, I don't know, a million dollars, 800,000.

Then you just have, and you're...

So

Maybe Shannon

spend all your billions on letting other people try things out with your money to the point where you go broke is what I'm hearing.

That's what it sounds like you just said.

But you said just keep trying

Maybe Shannon

until they mess up.

I don't

Maybe Shannon

know.

I don't know if

nobody's broken a million dollars, you know, you know, and.

But like I said, if you get into what you want to do, okay, you can get away with it.

But if you do what God wants you to do, like I said, I've done it for 13 years.

And I had to.

You bought with a price.

And you think you're a little too cap more capitalistic to me.

Without, you know, there's

It's okay to be capitalistic, but not overly capitalist.

I'm just saying, I should talk to you later.

Appreciate you calling in because of Bob, man.

Appreciate it.

Thank you for calling in.

I think I saw Bob's first time calling in with us, ain't it?

I usually hear him on Sherwin's show all the time.

So that was refreshing.

It was nice speaking to Bob.

You know, new voices

Maybe Shannon

are always good.

I don't know about being called capitalistic.

I don't know where I was like, dang, I don't got enough capital to be capitalistic, but I will say.

I'm

Maybe Shannon

a firm believer.

I'm a firm believer in hard work.

I feel like work ethic goes a long way and working hard goes a long way.

And I feel like there was a point in my life where I would give, give, give while I'm working.

you realize, oh, if you continue to give and not put boundaries up, people will genuinely believe like, oh, I don't have to work because she's gonna provide for me.

I don't gotta work because I can fall back on this.

Having nothing to fall back on knowing you have to put in the work sometimes works for other people.

I'm not saying leave your family down and out, but what we're not gonna do is watch me slave away.

And then have family members like oh Shannon gonna take care of it and then when he said we should try try try a Millionaire can go broke very quickly.

I don't know if y'all like a lot of these athletes go broke really quickly because of things like this a Millionaire 100 do you think a millionaire still has the same amount of bills that you know what I mean?

Like a regular person has no

Their overhead is extremely high.

So if I'm spending millions and millions of dollars because my cousin coming up with a new idea every day with no work ethic behind it, no openness plan behind it, that money will quickly be depleted.

So it would not be smart for me to keep throwing money at this person until they figure it out.

Yeah, Bob Bob said if you're a billionaire and you get down to 800,000 That's when you say all right.

That's enough But we know if we listen to Sherwin show Bob is the philanthropist on his show Bobby throwing that bread all over the city You can call in anytime Bob start blessing us over here at the lunch break You know, I know we knew to the family but we had we family and we cousins Shannon's you got a call check your text

Maybe Shannon

Of course, it looks like we got Mr. May be on the

line.

Y'all y'all y'all can call me wherever you want.

Like my mother says, as long as you call me when it's time to eat, blame me.

I mean, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

People come to me every day with a plan and an idea.

It's like my past to say, that's all it is.

The idea when you got money, you can just distribute money like that.

That is how you, that is how you stay on top.

You don't see, you don't hear about no black millionaires making other black millionaires.

You know what I'm saying?

You got just, just like Miss, Miss Shannon said, maybe Shannon said, you, you gotta, you gotta be smart, bro.

They don't understand how we get taxed.

They don't understand how we get taxed, how we get moved.

We got to pay for so many things, work this time.

You know what I'm saying?

I got to pay for my employees.

You know, it's just so many things that we got to pay for.

And then if we don't move money around, the government may come back at us again.

See, broke people don't understand that.

They need to, I need to write a book so they can read.

But it's a great subject today.

I was gonna give y'all a break, but I just...

Y'all, y'all be happy to be rude.

I love y'all.

And you know, I turn in and I see my baby on my phone.

I guess.

Love my baby.

Maybe Shannon

What we was talking about is...

You know, Bob said we might be too capitalistic and you post a spin your last until you down to your last to help people out because God, you know, might direct you in that way.

I actually got a text message.

Somebody said, I disagree with Bob.

God didn't give God didn't get him there to give money away, but to help others get there and not freeload.

True.

Ain't nobody gonna let you freeload.

I can help you.

I can give you the resources.

What they say, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make them drink.

Another saying, look, here I go.

Another saying, what they say, you teach a man to fish.

Hey,

Maybe Shannon

man.

You know what I'm saying?

He gonna eat for life.

Give a man a

Maybe Shannon

fish.

If you just give him the fish, he only gonna have one meal.

Come on, man.

You see, it's like we be knowing all these folk lords and then we be acting like we don't remember them and don't want to abide by them now, but handing

them

down.

Like, come on, Bob.

Bob, I know you believe in that, right?

You believe in that, Bob.

Give a man a fish.

What?

You feed him for a day.

But teach him how to fish.

And you feed him for a life that we giving away too many fishes, man.

OK.

Right.

Maybe Shannon

You got to do all the work, okay, watch your mouth.

I'm

Maybe Shannon

sorry

mom Man,

Maybe Shannon

man,

we got some birthdays who birthday is it

Maybe Shannon

Is

Maybe Shannon

it not really a city girl birthday?

Is it not really a city girl birthday?

Maybe Shannon

birthday on this?

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday.

As a matter of fact, if you're celebrating a birthday, you could always call in and wish a happy birthday to somebody as well, too.

We love surprise happy birthdays, man.

So always call in, shout somebody out with a happy birthday.

Yeah, it is not really a city girl's birthday.

Happy birthday once again, not really a city girl.

It's our cousin's birthday,

Maybe Shannon

Shannon.

Definitely.

What's the mom

Maybe Shannon

advice you got for her

cousin today Shannon give her some birthday advice.

Maybe Shannon

As a matter of fact, let me go and get this one knocked out real quick.

Then we got to go holler at Rocco.

Rocco said he got to straighten you out.

He said you got some stuff wrong.

So

we got to figure it

Shannon, let's go talk to cousin Rocco.

Rocco, how you feeling live on the lunch break, boss?

Well, you know, you can call me Rocco or you can call me Bob.

I'm gonna answer either way, you know, and, you know, call me what you want.

I was

just going what was in the, what they, what was typed up in the message Bob.

Whatever you prefer,

what do you prefer?

I don't want to misrepresent you.

Well, you know, Bob is what she normally called me, but you know, nobody, however, nobody mentally or physically can make billions of dollars.

Now, the system allows that.

That's why only a handful of people and a lot of people are hungry and can't get gas.

struggling can get a billion dollars.

So with that billion that you have to have, the system allows you to make a billion dollars.

That don't mean you actually can work physically or mentally to get a billion dollars and you feel her, I got a billion dollars.

I don't have to give my try and try again.

It's number one.

Number two, you got that information to make a billion dollars because the system is that way.

And the man upstairs gave you that information, how to make that billion dollars.

Now, what you do with it is another thing.

And, you know, try not to, you know, say things that I didn't say, not broke.

If he needs two billion dollars, two million dollars, okay, you know, you stop there and say, and act like you don't have that much money.

You know, you know, I got only $300 to give you or whatever.

And he's down on it, you know.

Well, Bob, you know,

we was only going off your specific words, Bob.

Your specific words was...

If you have a billion dollars, try, try, and try again.

And if you get to a million or 800,000, that sounds like taking yourself broke, Bob.

I'm sorry.

Do you

Maybe Shannon

know how much a

million dollars is in this country?

Not a lot of money, Bob.

Maybe Shannon

To me, it's a lot of money.

Actually, if you got billion dollar bills.

And then you've got to think about taxes, Bob.

So if you get down, you telling me, Bob, you saying.

from a billion dollars.

That's a lot of money.

I agree with you.

And I agree with what you're saying that nobody and I would even double down on what you're saying.

You're saying nobody could make a million dollars and like not have had to have made it off the backs of people.

I'm assuming that's what you're saying because I don't want to misrepresent what you're saying.

So you're saying God in the system has put you in a position to allow you to make that type of money.

Now what you do with that type of money

is different and up to you as the person, correct?

That's what you're saying, right?

Correct, however.

Okay.

You think that person you give the money to, huh, I done tried eight different things.

Make that your challenge.

Let me try the ninth thing.

Do you like a salon parlor or, you know, a band studio?

I hear you, I

hear

you.

At that

point

I rather just I rather just invest in like a food pantry and let them work there because now we just throwing money at Ideas and people are wasting even more money than actually doing something good with it So I'd rather just invest it in a nonprofit and then employ them that way then and then use the nonprofit to whether that's do food drives food banks clothing drives homeless shelters or things like that because

is what you're saying, Bob.

And I'm not, when I agree with somebody, I could agree with them.

But for somebody to say, you got a billion dollars and say, let's go down to, let's keep trying.

Let's keep believing in new ideas until we get down to our last million.

And that is a part of the problem right now.

We're doing, we're talking about a billion dollars, but you have people doing that with a thousand dollars, $500 that's believing in somebody or someone and say, oh man, I just need $20 for this.

You know, I'm gonna get it back to you.

And then we just keep enabling this cycle, Bob.

So that's more so the conversation that I think I would like to get to you or get with you on because,

A billion

to one million.

A billion to a million.

That's a lot of trying.

I'm not really talking about the middle class.

I'm talking about a billionaire.

And then you acting capitalist.

That's what white folks do.

That's why they got a hand full of billion dollars.

And people ain't... That's who we going after the get taxes from.

You know, I mean, you know, they, well, what I need a billion dollars for.

And I will be giving you some money.

So.

So.

But

you said you said

understood, understood.

But you're talking about if you're a billionaire, but I want you to even just put yourself in this mind frame that you had a billion dollars.

Right, and you're saying keep trying on to keep believing in people and investing in them all the way down till you down to eight hundred thousand dollars Bob Even

two million

Bob that is a lot of money.

So you saying just why not just do a nonprofit then and then just really rebuild your community then

Why why keep what you saw this person?

Not followed through on a salon then you saw I'm not followed through on a hot dog stand Then you saw I'm not follow and you kept doing it at what point At what point are we doing a disservice to ourselves now we down to our last cuz we believed in

everybody

Maybe Shannon

Yes And again, you have to think about what a billionaires bills would be his bills aren't what a regular person of 4,000 a month It's likely gonna be a lot more because he owns a studio.

He probably owns a mansion He probably owns all these things.

So with a million dollars, he probably can't even pay this month's bills

Okay, let me give you this one example.

Let me give you this one example There's an individual in jail

And the only thing that he needs is to make other people's time do less.

That's the only thing God requires of that name.

And because, you know, they're talking to him and he's just got that personality that he allows them people to be time easier.

That's what everybody...

has a purpose.

Eight billion people, and it's not our choice sometimes, our purpose.

We should do what we feel God wants us to do.

And then he'll allow us maybe to do things that we want.

And then once he gets out of jail, that's it.

All of them guys get out of jail.

It wasn't that bad because that was his purpose just to make them guys time less.

And that being

human, purpose.

That, okay, I'll talk to you later, sir.

I heard that.

I'll talk to you later.

That wasn't

me.

That wasn't me either, Bob.

Maybe Shannon

I just wanted to be clear.

That was not me either,

Maybe Shannon

Bob.

We do gotta get to break.

We do gotta get to break.

Bob, that's all that was.

We had to get to break, and that was producer letting us know that we had one minute before we got to break.

That's all that was, Bob.

We don't want people feeling like we being rude.

We just got rules, we gotta follow.

But we hear you, Bob.

We hear you.

Yes, I do believe that we should help humanity.

I do believe that, Shannon.

But Bob is really say like and he's saying put words in his mouth That's we definitely put words in his mouth his exact words like do you know how much a billion dollars is and to hear somebody say man keep trying till you get down to your last 800,000 as if my bill like my bills doesn't shrink to 800,000 bills no more

Maybe Shannon

Yeah, man

There was a lot to unpack there.

And I do believe like, I think he is misunderstanding.

First of all, Tyler Perry creates a lot of jobs for people.

And I think in his family, he has like helped out a lot of people.

But at what point do you teach them to help themselves instead of have a bunch of people relying on you?

That that's where things get tricky.

If there's family members that are disabled, family members that probably can't.

Become gainfully employed.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't mind helping them, but there's also a point where where you don't You're doing yourself a disservice like Ray said You're stressing yourself out you depleting all of your resources because now it's a job to try to keep trying things with you Why would I keep giving this person a chance when I can turn around?

and give a chance to somebody that's actually ready.

If it takes somebody eight tries to figure out what business is gonna work with my money, clearly you weren't prepared seven times.

Damn.

And you came to me and you thought I could just spend her money.

It don't even matter.

She working her tail off and I don't care.

I'm gonna just keep throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks with her money.

No, absolutely not.

Come with the plan.

Come with a skill set.

Come with...

Come with work ethic.

That's all we're asking.

I'm not saying I'm not helping nobody out.

I don't want to hear it.

No, I'm willing to help, but be willing to respect my time and my resources and the work.

that I put in.

We gonna go on break and we gonna be right back.

All

right

Maybe Shannon

y'all, let's listen to the award-winning 101.7, the truth.

What's on the menu today?

The lunch break with the Rayoniddy and maybe Shannon returns in just a moment.

John say, Hey man, my cousin Nitty said you was going to hook me up.

And I promise you he gonna hook you up, man.

John, I'm gonna pop in and tell you holla at y'all, man.

Need something for the, you know, the weather break, man.

You're one of them little joints.

But, Shannon, we gonna get back into this conversation, man.

I wish we had more time, because... I do.

I can see we're going to have to do.

I mean,

Maybe Shannon

that's new for me being called a capitalist.

Yeah, that was you hit the nail on the head.

I don't even got enough capital to be considered that.

I wish I

Maybe Shannon

had more capital to be a capitalist, but I'm not

low key.

I'm who Bob talking about.

I'm giving away my last and believing in everybody.

I just bought me some cameras to get my own little situation going.

I'm finally.

Putting some energy into me, you know, I feel the same way.

That's

Maybe Shannon

why I understand the situation because I've seen it and I've seen people like, oh, let me just hold 20 and I'm like, man, I just got back home.

I just paid all my bills.

I barely got the 20, but I'm going to give it to you because you seem like you need it.

And then I look at their story and they are partying.

And I'm like, oh, I couldn't even

party because I

Maybe Shannon

gave you my 20.

Then you asked for it.

I told you I was going to give it back when I seen you, didn't I?

Like dang man, um We got

Maybe Shannon

some a lot Look

I didn't have

Maybe Shannon

people get mad at me fast talk about that here on there.

How dare you I

know we

Maybe Shannon

got it right now

Straight up.

Look look look my D. Don't work your tail off sweetie

My D got you.

Maybe Shannon

Thank

you.

Thank you, baby.

My D. I should.

When you start getting blank checks.

My D. Brother starving.

My D. She's going

Maybe Shannon

up to

work right now.

She'll show you a magic trick how to make some money disappear real fast.

How many chances you need?

You just need

Maybe Shannon

20

chances.

Maybe Shannon

Just give me one chance to ball and I'm a ball.

Don't sit next to Bob.

Maybe Shannon

Who is the Bob Financial player?

That's the best player ever.

Shoot, I need to get on that plan.

Somebody believe in me like Bob.

Straight up.

Meat and potatoes.

It's time for some meat and potatoes.

I know we not gonna get into all that we wanna get into because the conversation's been so great on the menu, right?

So we're going to start this one off.

We're going to get into the How to Mancoat.

But let's go ahead and fire up that Big X, the plug, and Ryan Clark.

Oh, really?

I thought it was.

You sure?

I'm

positive.

All right.

Dang.

All right.

Well, we won't do that one today, then.

I got to find a clean version.

of that video.

What do you think, Shannon?

Or should we just go into the loyalty?

You know what, we're gonna save both of them for tomorrow and we just gonna stick on the conversation.

So tomorrow, on tomorrow's show, y'all, we gonna get into how do men cope and then loyalty to what extent, right?

Because there's so many things that we are loyal to, you know?

And that'd be a good for tomorrow as well, just continuing off of today's conversation.

It's like, we're so loyal to people that we would go literally broke.

Give our last.

You feel what I'm saying?

And lose our minds.

Come on, man.

And not understand that like we are literally getting the life drained out of us.

And I don't think it's about being capitalist at all.

At what point do we care about?

our mental being, because what is the mental toll on that person that is believing in somebody so much that they're getting down to their very last?

And like what I don't hear is like, yo, what about that person that gives their all all the time till they have nothing left?

We don't never hear the conversations like, OK, how do you replenish that person?

Maybe Shannon

It can go all the way into supporting people.

I've supported people like, man, I'm gonna show up to any event you throw.

I'm gonna show up in the comment section.

And then, hey, when it's your turn.

Hey,

Maybe Shannon

can you support me?

Can you share this?

Can you like it?

Can you come to my event?

Absolutely.

Maybe Shannon

Where they at?

And you don't see them.

That takes a

Maybe Shannon

toll

on you.

The same person you bought the hot dog stand for.

Or the same like

Maybe Shannon

they buy you ain't you ain't even you ain't buy me a salon now.

So I ain't coming to none of your stuff I ain't support nothing I'm

telling

Maybe Shannon

you eight times that I tried to help you out.

I've seen it numerous times Started businesses where you'd look around you the only one at the dang all business.

I'm like, well, wait a minute.

Come on.

Oh, this isn't what we discussed.

I

Maybe Shannon

helped out along the way.

Mm-hmm.

So

it's like

Maybe Shannon

all this investment

It's so easy to point the finger at the person who has, you know what I mean?

And always want to demand more from that person.

But like, when do we figure out a source to, and you know, it's crazy, it don't even always gotta be a financial return for the person that's pouring into everybody.

A simple checking in like, yo, how you doing?

What's going on with you today, man?

How's the family?

You feel me but so many people want to just call and ask and ask and that's okay because they assume that you got the energy to spare you got the Resources to spare you got the fun.

They don't ask how your day gone

Maybe Shannon

Or what you got going on can I pull up?

Yeah, how

Maybe Shannon

can I support you?

So it's just it ain't like

Maybe Shannon

I'm gonna ask for money.

You don't want asking for money.

You got that covered

Just let me know you rock

Maybe Shannon

coming you

go

Maybe Shannon

boy Literally like I don't ask for much, but that's too much for some people exactly

Exactly man, so that's my thing man.

Um, like it's cool It's cool, but

I don't know man.

I think

Maybe Shannon

Alfonso said to get rid of beggars tell them you will match what they bring with their plan Crickets is what you will hear buddy.

That's a fact.

Yeah, you tell them put a business plan together.

They look at you like you crazy

Maybe Shannon

How dare you you want me to work for the money that I'm begging for

Like man, but that but that's why you end up with people that think it's easy too because they don't see how many jobs you've applied to before getting a job They don't see how much you put in on the back end.

They don't even see that so they think somebody just gave it to you Hmm

Right.

They don't see how that business plan looked.

They don't see how that vision board looked.

They don't see how like your savings struggled for a while because you were investing in yourself and believing in yourself.

They don't see the days where you had to save money instead of going out and party.

A lot of these people think, you know, well, let me just ask you for the money because I deserve a little life.

You live without the work.

And in their head, you did it without the work.

Just

saying.

Yep.

Absolutely.

100% man.

100%.

I think, um,

I think it's an important conversation and we appreciate Bob for his perspective because he is right to an extent though.

Like we should.

If you have a billion, a billion dollars is a lot of money.

And me and Amanda had this conversation.

She don't believe that anybody should be a billionaire, but I disagree.

I'm like, yo, if I worked for some and she believes that, hey, you can't obtain a billion dollars without making it off the backs of a lot of people.

But

yeah.

That doesn't mean, you know, I don't know.

Whole different conversation, y'all.

I think it's, uh, we gotta help you.

We

Maybe Shannon

might need a capitalist conversation.

We might.

Honestly.

We might on the low because, because a lot can happen, y'all.

A lot can happen.

What is my quote, y'all, before we close out for today?

My quote is, where are you?

The quote for today is by Dr. Martin Luther King.

And this is one of his lines that they don't quote enough.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of
