That's what we talking about right now.
We following the money and you still want to blame black people and immigrants and welfare and all of these things for policies and backdoor deals that put poor people in worse position.

Welcome back, y'all.
Welcome back to the award winning one on one, seven of truth.
We are live from the American Family Insurance Studios.
We need to be live from the American Family Insurance Field.
Who can we talk to about this?
Come on now.
Who can we talk to about this?
Grand Lecturer.
That would be lit.
Who can we talk to, man?
We need to broadcast live from the American family insurance field.
That's what we want to do.
That would be nice.
That would be, you know, it would be super nice to read the American family insurance read from the American family insurance field.
That would just feel dope.
We'll feel dope.
But man, yes, the Brewers have one.
Shannon, the Brewers have one.
Yes, they have.
Man, 4-0.
Should we call DJ?
Hey, he text me, too.
You know how some people text first?
So it's like, so you don't really take a single way.
Yeah, man.
I let when we got swept, I let you text me.
You know, I didn't try to beat you to it.
He took a little
So I drank the tea first.
I drank the Thai tea first.
So I still had the cup with the ice in it.
So I went to the machine and got a French vanilla cappuccino.
And then I tried to pour that over the ice.
And I thought it would be delicious, but it's not.
So there's that.
But yes, y'all.
I thought it would be delicious.
I did.
I thought it was going to be nice.
But we swept them back, Shannon.
OK.
44 years.
44 years, Shannon.
The Milwaukee Brewers.
I'm not even 44.
I was, I wasn't even here yet.
The Milwaukee Brewers are going to the World Series.
Let's talk about that, man.
Last night in Los Angeles, Dodgers 4, Brewer 6, and it was the whole season in one game.
Second inning.
Andy singles in the run, then Otani, all 428 feet.
Why they got to read these stuff like him?
Why they got to, like, why would they make me read this like this then?
All 42, all 424.
I can't even read it though.
All 428 feet of him launches a three run homer.
Four zero dodgers.
Dodger Stadium is shaking and the Brewers did what we've done all October We kept our cool and we responded Shannon.
I know you's probably at work.
Did you get to catch any glimpses of the game?
No, it was it was yet another amazing game man, so it was in the fourth inning Shannon to rang He gets a walk and back-to-back ground rule doubles It was crazy So we had to it was for the two then and in the fifth Bowers bases loaded walk tie the game
Mitchell with a go-ahead home run, Shannon.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Brewer's been playing some really good ball all season.
And I'm gonna tell you what's been a little irritating to watch.
And it was something actually Amanda pointed out to me.
If you notice how, I'm not gonna say the journal said them, but all the national media, right?
If you notice how they title in it, it's like,
the Dodgers lost to the Brewers.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, what do you mean the Dodgers?
Like, no, we whooped the Dodgers butts.
All right?
PTA.
That's what
Like, like, I could understand why people would think that, but we were the best team in baseball.
Damn, they're all year.
BTA all year.
I mean technically we were the underdog though.
From the salary and what you talking about the players and stuff like that.
No when it comes to the Dodgers.
Sure but I'm just going off of share record right.
Like we've been performing not like an underdog all year.
I'm saying like maybe if we was like
We just made the playoffs something we were struggling all year You know we fought our way back into like yes We are underdog city for sure small market.
You know what I'm saying?
We don't have nowhere near the amount of money that the Dodgers put into their staff what coach say They got a bunch of Hall of Famers.
We got a bunch of gamers.
So yes, I understand that story of feeling like but to me I always felt like we was
the team to beat.
And we just keep on persevering and keep on putting wins up.
So that's what I mean by the, like when they frame it, like, oh, the Brewers just like, no, the Brewers been winning all year.
And I just don't like when people don't give the small city the proper credit for like having a good team, having a good staff, having a great fan base that really helps carry.
these teams through these situations.
So that's what I mean by the underdog.
Yes, on paper, if you're looking at names and and so forth and what talent should be back to back championships from the Dodgers.
Sure.
Yes.
But I'm just more so going off of performance for this year coming into the season.
Absolutely.
But during the season, I think we show we've been showing and consistently showing that.
Amen.
We we just want this more but Yeah, man, it was uh, it was a great game Shannon and uh, y'all so y'all didn't catch them uh singing the Milwaukee blues right before they on pop the champagne No, but it was I was a dope site man.
It was a dope site 44 years 82
1982 I was I wasn't even born for like another two years.
I can't even What's what's what's significantly happened in 82 in American history that happened in 82?
I can't even tell you because I wasn't even here But yes, man the Dodgers the Dodgers actually were leading
At least from what I remember.
The history is because the kind of thing, excuse me, I got like a little sinus tripping real quick.
So the brewers trailed the Dodgers in basically every single game of the series and swept them for last October.
Maybe that's why this feels like my world series because last October, DJ Error was terrorizing me.
because the bucks got swept.
And if I'm not mistaken, I don't even think we put up four runs total.
No, I think we only put up four runs total in the series against them last year.
So it's just an amazing day, man.
Shouts out to the Brewers, man.
Milwaukee Brewers all the way.
World Series.
When is this next week?
Next weekend is when this jumping on?
Can't remember what the date was man, but don't go anywhere man when we come back We're gonna get into what's popping with Shannon right here on the award-winning one-on-one seven the truth
Pull up a chair the lunch break with the rayoniddy and maybe Shannon continues in just a moment on the award-winning one-on-one seven the truth You're listening to the lunch break with the rayoniddy and maybe Shannon where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning one-on-one seven the truth
Now it's time to test it.
Now
I'm gonna tap in to What's Poppin' with Maybe Shannon.
What's Poppin' with Maybe Shannon.
Live on a lunch break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon.
Live on a lunch break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon.
Hey Shannon, can you tell us what's poppin'?
What's
Milwaukee are listening to the award winning one on one seven the truth and we are at that 12 30 time where we're doing what's popping with Shannon and we talk about what's popping alright and right now we are going to talk about online dating you know I told y'all I had a few different things that I wanted to you know talk about but this one I felt like
We could really get into this one, all right?
So a story out of Minnesota has me wanting to ask y'all, how safe do you feel meeting someone online?
And how do you decide when you know enough about them to let them into your life?
So before we get into that, I want to talk about Kaylee Arsif.
Kaylee was a 22-year-old and according to her family, she met a man through a dating app within weeks.
He killed her.
His name was Jose Luis Lopez and on October 15th, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Good.
He should have got stoned to death.
But
you
I'm the only person thinking like that, I guess.
But anyway.
So he was convicted of first degree premeditated murder.
And according to messages described in the criminal complaint, he wanted a romantic relationship.
And Kaylee told him she only wanted a friendship in June 2025.
Police found her shot to death inside of her Richfield apartment after she missed work.
The county attorney is calling this a rejection killer.
Now we got rejection killings.
Well, I think we've been had it, but we keep having to come up with names for the ways these people is losing their minds, okay?
So, basically, she refused a relationship and he refused to accept it.
He wanted more from her.
And if I'm not mistaken...
Her sister came out and said that they hadn't even met he ended up getting her information through other sites online Paying to find her address paying to get like her actual phone number and figure out her schedule and things of that nature I think they spoke online a little bit and She she realized something may be off and she told him hey, you know what?
Let's just be friends and I matched with him thinking you know
Dodge the bully but no he figured out where she was and Kilder sat unfortunately, right?
Kaylee loved music and art was restoring a motorcycle and worked with autistic children as a behavioral technician She had recently talked about pursuing a degree in developmental psychology She had a whole future ahead of her.
Okay.
She was she was obviously a good heart in
wanting to do good things in this world and it was cut short by this weird dude that just simply could not accept rejection and it's just it's scary because you think of like people like that are already dating already meeting up and stuff and then being upset but this man hadn't even met her in person from my understanding which makes it so much scarier especially with us living in the age where so many people meet people online so
People meet online every day and some build beautiful relationships.
Maybe a lot of people meet their spouses now.
I think it's more likely for people to meet their spouse online than it ever has been before.
And it's pretty normal at this point, right?
And even people, I mean, people get on.
Bumble and stuff like that to meet friends.
Like when you move to a different city or state, people meet friends online.
People join meetup groups.
So when you hear Kaylee's story, it just raises a real question on how you get to know somebody while also protecting yourself from what you don't know about them.
Because you can talk to somebody every day, you can text, you can FaceTime, and you can learn their favorite food and hear childhood stories and what they want out of life.
And it can feel like closeness, but how much have you actually have opportunity to observe?
Because it is important to see how somebody can handle disappointment.
See how people handle when plans change and what happens when you disagree with them, right?
And knowing someone's routine and knowing their character are very different things.
And I think that's the tricky part.
I think dating requires openness.
And if you're trying to make a connection,
you don't want every conversation to feel like an interrogation, right?
And I guess, where's the balance?
You know, how do you stay open to meeting other people without feeling pressured to trust them before you're ready?
So, those are, you know, people need to take certain precautions, but even in this story, like I said, she did everything right.
So even in those times, it's hard to tell like, what can you do to protect yourself?
Online what can you do to to kind of weed out the bad bad apples, right?
Because I want to be clear Kaylee's death was the responsibility of the man that killed her clearly.
He was on well clearly.
He was he was insane But she did nothing wrong, but it also becomes you know People online will you know like they do oh, she should have picked better
You know, well, this is what happens when you meet people online.
But like I mentioned before, it's more common than people want to believe that people meet people online, that people make connections online, that people even end up dating people that they've met online.
That's more of a common thing than anything.
I think I saw like a...
A graph where they like ask people where they met their boyfriend or girlfriend and most of it said online dating it's bigger than ever So it's one of those things where it's like you can meet people You know you can meet people at church or restaurant discover things about them later and Still end up in these unfortunate situations But I guess the question is how do you meet people and weed out the bad apples like when you got stuff like this happening?
Do you just not meet people online?
Like, do you take extra precautions?
I don't know.
Have you have you ever met a friend online?
Online just started being a thing.
I mean, maybe back in the Pax days or like Black Planet days, but that was like teens, like still in high school, like.
Yeah, but technology was so much different back then and limited, right?
So You just didn't like my space you like had to be on a computer really to be to be on like we still had AOL you have to put a disk in and in here to dial up tone So, you know online You're faster me somebody going outside waiting to kick find a connection
So yeah, you know
I feel like it's a little bit risky, but that is from my lens right somebody who yeah, you know dating was much different
for our generation, we actually had to talk to each other.
We had to actually go out and hang out.
You know what I mean?
Courting was a little bit different.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, he feels like you could court with just liking a post every morning now or something.
Like, oh, he really loves me.
You know?
So I don't know.
I'm just saying it was a little bit different.
So.
I feel like, um, and I'm, I'm thankful to be a part of a generation who was able to witness both.
You know what I mean?
Like not too much technology.
So we did have more of those real human interactions and building, you know, uh, a relationship in real life versus hiding behind a keyboard.
You can be whoever you want to be.
just typing online.
You know what I'm saying?
You could put whatever picture you want up.
And the person that shows up ain't nothing like-
The first friend that I met out here, it was on TikTok.
She's like, oh, you in Vegas, you should hang out, blah, blah, blah.
And for a while, we just chatted back and forth.
And I'm like, OK, she seemed like a cool person.
We can meet somewhere in public.
You know what I'm saying?
I treated it like I would a date, of course.
We can meet somewhere in public.
Watch her profile, make sure it's real, make sure it's normal, see if we got mutuals.
But it's like, that's not dating, but it's still the same risk.
You know, I don't know who, there should be a 58 year old bald big man that's just got a picture on there.
Like, yeah, meet me
at the
But you meet people online.
Like, even the other day, I made a post about like some of my accomplishments and stuff like that or some things that I've done.
And like, I got some DMs from people like, I'm like, dang, I didn't even realize.
This person been following me this long.
They're like, man, I've been following you since XYZ years ago and I'm so proud of you.
And I'm like, you know, I'm grateful for that support, but it's also like you don't realize how many people feel close to you.
You don't realize how many people are watching you.
You don't even realize like when I used to do makeup, people all the time, they find you online.
And they be like, I'm a little point because I saw your work online.
And then from there, you build relationships.
You don't know who's watching you.
You don't know who's supporting you.
And I think
It's just hard because so many things are done online.
So I guess it just leaves you like, man, how do you make sure you're having a safe experience?
We can get back into this and move the, what do you say, the menu along.
When we come back from this break, you're listening to the award winning one on one segment truth.

What up, y'all?
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
We just got through what's popping with Shannon.
It was a very interesting conversation.
Shannon, you want to tell our listeners who was listening or anybody that's just joining us what the segment was about.
Recently, a young woman was murdered by a man that she had met online.
She basically had a conversation with him online.
They had some back and forth and she decided, you know what, maybe we shouldn't date, maybe we shouldn't go on a date.
And she cut it short and she said, maybe we should just be friends.
In what they call a rejection killing he found her address and went to her home and murdered her And then it just brought up the question of how do we?
Navigate online relationships, even if it's a friendship even if it's you know, just like somebody you're interested in getting to know While being safe and it also best the question like do you do you all feel safe?
dealing with people online.
I also, you know, brought to the table a lot of times, new friendships, new relationships, you meet people online these days.
That's just how it is, you know?
Even when you think of the people in our chat, our cousins, we met them online before we met them in person, you know what I'm saying?
So it's like, you really start to peel back them layers and be like, man, I have met a bunch of people online and it's so normal that you don't think
Oh, yeah online dating is unsafe online meeting people is unsafe Because it's so normal now and I guess I'm wondering like how do you protect yourself now?
How do you know people are safe?
Are there extra steps that people take before meeting people out in the wild?
is
in
Listen make sure y'all call in a 3 3 2 1 2 10 17 because that's a good question you just asked Do you think but honestly I feel like already right?
So many people are starting to feel lonely and it's starting to feel deprived of human interaction Even when they're on the computer and they feel like they're having all these interactions I feel like that face-to-face human interaction is greatly missed right
because
you see these polls come out and people say like they're the loneliest they've ever been even though there's so many different ways to connect to people so if Human interaction like it's gonna make that 360, you know
time where it's like people wanted more than ever and people are trying to find more ways to connect again because I think we live in a society where people genuinely like forget how to people like you see it from 2020 when people got back out here in the world like they act like they don't even know how to like like bro have you never seen a person before people make jokes about the younger generation is it Gen Z you
Okay, because I know the Gen Z Gen X and I get it I get it mixed up I think it's Gen Z who is under Millennials and the X is over Millennials But so Gen Z people make jokes about them and they're like when you go up to them and they're working They don't even talk to you.
They just stare at you blankly
When you interact with young people, you realize they really lack the knowledge of how to interact with people in person.
They're like, oh, shoot.
And they just stare at you, and you got to carry the conversation.
Like, hi, this is what I want to order.
They don't listen.
The Chick-fil-A jizz years got it together.
But the other ones, they be like,
They just throw you in there.
They, they burning and turning.
All right.
They like, Hey, who can cover these shifts?
Okay.
Cool.
Good luck.
They don't.
A lot of places I will say don't even have soft skills training, right?
Like I had a job that made you go through soft skills training first.
And I've never had a job like that again.
You know what I mean?
And that says a lot.
I've been working since I was 14.
First of all, there's so much going on, I'm laughing at right now.
First of all, I got two questions before we go to Shannon's future husband on the phone line.
So I'm assuming you didn't fail the soft people skills.
You didn't pass the soft people skills, because you said that's the last time I took a job like
like- You are the generation you are talking about.
You're talking about yourself and you're framing it as a generation.
You outed
late.
But you're using yourself as the example.
don't
Exactly.
So why do I have
start the conversation?
Just tell me what food you want and get out my
I used what I learned during that training for other jobs.
And I know this other job gave you that type of training.
Jesus.
Y'all love to see what I'm saying.
It's something that I think every job should actually do because a lot of people lack common knowledge.
Like I think everybody else would agree.
Like when you hire somebody for a job, you would hope they have basic knowledge of how to deal with people.
But I noticed it's just not true.
Well, I rest my case.
Say.
I didn't know he was on the line.
What's up, baby?
What's up, baby?
My baby ain't got it.
You got to get to do a little all-in, baby.
She ain't got to do nothing.
She's good.
All my baby got to do is tell me what she mean.
I got it.
She's all good.
OK.
OK.
That's what I'm talking about.
Yeah, yeah.
But like I said, black women, black women got to be very careful thinking about online dating because.
Like I say, I got daughters, and I would never suggest that they go and do online.
Because you don't know what you're going to run into.
And the whole part of the matter is, if you're trying to meet somebody, I'll tell my clubs, I'll tell my upscale clubs that have a door fee or as churches.
or it's libraries, it's multiple places where you can go to interact if you're trying to meet somebody and you don't necessarily have to go out with the intentions to meet somebody, you gotta let it flow to you.
You know what I'm saying?
And online dating, man, that's, man, I never do that no more.
That costed me thousands.
When I say thousands,
your story.
What what what what ends up happening is I End up grabbing this female.
You know I'm saying and man She had a she had a laundry list when I feel largely list.
She had me pay.
She had me paying other folks bills I Didn't mind paying her bill, but you know, you know, I'm saying she had me paying other folks bills, you know
I
mean, she had me, you know, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm a real brother.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't mind taking care of mama's and, you know, cheese and auntie's and grandmothers.
I understand that the family is a total package, but you got me there.
I don't know if I was saying that baby daddy bills and his one.
You're listening to The Lunch Break with Ray Nitty and maybe Shannon, where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.
What up, y'all?
What up,
What it do?
What it do?
It is hour two with your favorite crew in the brew.
The Lunge Break crew, Ray Nitty, maybe Shannon, DJ, Brother Z, holding us down with the production and sound.
On this happy Friday, congratulations to the Milwaukee Brewers.
We are going to the World Series, y'all.
Let's sweep it, too.
Let's sweep it all the way to the chip, man.
Feeling real good, man.
Feeling real good today, Shannon.
Pretty interesting menu.
We have some very, very good conversations here.

American Family Mutual Insurance Company, S.I.
and its operating company, 6,000 American Parkway Madison, Wisconsin.
Y'all right?
But yeah, so back into the conversation.
We were talking about online dating and meeting people online.
We also talked about the young woman that lost her life not too long ago.
Her killer was sentenced yesterday to life in prison.
And it got us on a conversation about how people interact with each other and how people meet other people these days, right?
We got a call from Mahdi and he was mentioning, he mentioned how he would never suggest online dating.
He he would suggest people go to places where you have to pay a cover charge where you have to Talk to people in person and catch their vibes and stuff like that But even with that I do question like you're meeting a person for the first time right there Vulnerable right in person and maybe online can add an extra layer of protection I don't know but then he also talked about how he online daddy before ended up in a bad situation
I would say I would never send money to nobody online for sure.
That's what you don't do.
You gotta meet them and be locked in before you start sending stuff because those romance games are something else,
have Abstract Noir for one for he said if you aren't going to date the person don't talk to them at all.
I Think that's insane like
completely insane because we live in a world right when you're an adult I mean not even an adult you should be teaching your children this too that it's okay to have platonic relationships not being able to speak to somebody unless you want to be with them is like what world do you live in right like you I can't talk to my doctor now because I don't want to date them I can't look
I shouldn't
I'm sorry for leaving y'all alone.
I don't understand what world that is.
That's insane to even have that mindset, especially I'm gonna assume you're an adult.
Platonic relationships are very important because everybody in this world can give you a different perspective.
Everybody in this world can add value to your life without you having to sleep with them, without you having to date them.
So that's not even the conversation we were having.
there's that Alicia said in today's dating world you have to be cautious always just because you meet somebody online just because you meet someone at the grocery store bar gas station bank there's no guarantee that they are a safe person and that's kind of what I was getting into it is no guarantee that they're a safe person even when you meet in person like it takes a while to get to know a person to be able to
Feel their vibes.
And I think the online dating thing is scary because you never know who you're meeting.
But because people can hide behind the screen, but I also kind of feel like it adds an extra layer of protection in the sentence because you ain't got to meet them out in person.
We also have, oh, Ray responded.
Ray said, y'all are tough.
I'm interviewing on it.
So don't even speak to folks.
How do we preserve human interaction?
Sounds like we are headed toward not trusting anyone, right?
Like you can't even talk to nobody, right?
Look don't talk to me.
You
ain't trying
Like what are we talking
husband
It's very normal nowadays because that's the world we live in, where we're online constantly.
And that's where we get most of our information.
That's where we meet most people.
Like in the beginning, I was thinking to myself, man, I would never online date.
And then I was like, wait, I've met.
A lot of women friends online.
I've met a lot of people that support me more than like people.
I'm not no one person So it's it's it's a damn line between cutting yourself off from the world and Just being safe, you know,
I think that's exactly what's happening and what's going to be going on in the world because as people get deeper and deeper into technology and I get it, I get it.
We don't want AI.
We don't want all of these things.
That's a whole different conversation, right?
But it's happening.
Whether we want it or not, it's going to happen.
It's going to happen.
It's going to happen.
All right.
So sooner or later, we're going to start seeing more AI rolled out into our lives.
You're going to see more people using AI and technology in their lives that is going to just be in my opinion, in my opinion.
That is just going to cause more less and less human interaction you have You have AI agents where you don't even need to send the email yourself anymore and it will send it to you so now
You interact in more with the agent than your own email that you don't even have to send to send a send a warm email to the team, please.
And let them know what the orders are for today and the task for today and have everybody report back to the project manager and boom, 50 seconds, you'll send that out.
And sure, business could run, but we losing.
We're losing that human interaction, that connection, talking to people.
We're about to have robots, humanoid robots, whether we believe it or not, it is coming.
think.
But.
quick.
10170 Truth.
You're listening to The Lunch Break with Ray Nitty and Maybe Shannon, where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.
What up y'all welcome back to the award winning one-on-one seven the truth live from the American family and sharing studios This sound like something from the labyrinth.
Okay, cool.
I'm not sure.
I'm sure Amanda know what this is
Welcome back y'all to the award-winning one-on-one 70 truth live from the American family
But welcome back, y'all.
Welcome back.
We have in a conversation about online dating.
Is it safe?
Are we losing human connection due to technology and all of these things?
Robots.
We got humanoid robots.
I think you can get your own robot for 10,000 coming up.
10G, Shannon, it's gonna do your laundry.
Clean the house.
Cut the grass.
Man, fellas.
Might be just my security.
I'm telling you, fellas, get it together.
They're gonna start putting pots on these robots.
Then we really gonna be in trouble talking about not taking no time off work All right fellas Shopping up getting the gym get in there with me We need to support each other
You see how fast that robot was running Somebody said this is what the bill collectors gonna start sending behind You imagine this Hall and tail chasing you to get that 125 for the month that robot was
Robot was going crazy.
I'd have been like, here, here, here, here.
I paid four months in advance.
Stop coming around here so quickly.
But yes, man, robots is getting ready to be on the street.
You see the Tesla Roadster?
It did a flip of 360, all types of different things it did.
Technology is here, y'all.
and I think right now we're at a point where they're really cut.
What you laughing at?
Come on.
Look at bro shoulders.
He was hitting the bow going crazy just now hitting that corner.
Oh, he fell.
He fell.
But this is what's on the way, y'all.
Robots doing Olympics rope.
Look at bro.
Just jump in for.
Oh, no, they got the box.
Come on.
Look at that double kick.
And this is why I feel like our technology is going.
We're not going to be sending humans to fight wars anymore.
With the boxing gloves.
Come on, man.
I want us to wake up.
But human interaction is very important.
It's very important, man.
If we can't communicate with each other as humans and we only know how to type emojis and three letter words to shorten up sentences in life, I'm just saying that we are losing how to communicate with each other.
And then you meet somebody online and then you realize like, oh my God, this person has very little to offer or we have very little in common or community.
Or you meet somebody in line and I have no idea, I'm just assuming, right?
Because you see the memes and everything about Gen Z or whatever the generations are.
They go on a date and then they text in each other, across from the table from each other.
So don't,
devalue real human connection.
It's easy to want to retreat into our own spaces and just, you know, be by ourselves and not deal with.
Folks or whatever, because the world is crazy.
The world is is a strange place right now.
But I still think human connection is going to be very important and is something we need to value and protect because in this technology driven world.
Robots are on the rise.
Like you said, people are more lonely and looking for more companionships.
People are talking to AI bots and AI agents more about their problems than real life therapists.
And then to the point, like, I know we mentioned before, I think you talked about it before, where people are, well, AI companies are buying up books and feeding them to it.
you know, AI and then destroying the books.
So we're going to be basically like, we're going to be leaning on AI to tell us what's right and wrong.
We ain't going to be able to look it up on our own and do the research on our own, besides probably asking, you know, other humans what's going on.
So like, if they want to give us the wrong information, how will we fact check it?
How will we double check it?
I've seen that a lot lately where
They'll have these fake AI accounts and it is me and like I do that say he's working on creating an AI model for Instagram so he can scam other men out of money.
I was just like, well, that's not nice.
Like he was showing me the prototype and stuff.
And I'm like, that's insane.
But you hear stuff like this all the time.
There's AI influencers already and people don't realize that it's an AI account.
Yes, that convincing.
That's insane.
AI music.
AI artists.
Like humans are going to be.
Let me phrase my words properly, right?
The need for humans.
Or human.
Work or whatever.
things that human produced.
I think it's just going to be diminished.
They're not going to need people writing real songs anymore.
Yeah, we could say, oh, you know, the essence of writing something real that came from somebody that wrote it.
Like, how long is that generation going to be around the folks that was actually writing a music?
How long?
the Tesla GROC one, like it picks up on your tone, it picks up on like how you respond to things, it picks up on the slang you're using and adjusts.
Even when like you think of something that is like chat GPT, I noticed I use it a lot.
So I asked chat, I was like, what's my personality?
And they like gave me a rundown of how I am and like, oh yeah, you asked a lot of questions, even when I give you an answer, you ask questions on top of it and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
So it's capturing who you are by the questions you ask.
Like, I even asked, like, well, how old do you think I am?
It was pretty much spot on.
So they're able to pick up on stuff.
The more we use it, the more it has to go off of somebody's mouth.
The elephants that all I know is when talking to AI people, better start saying please and thank you.
So like I said, how fun is that AI preachers?
I mean,
Hey, y'all.
So this is so funny.
Y'all got me cracking up.
So we should have known this was coming, right?
Think about the fifth element, iRobot, Terminator, right?
We knew this was coming.
We're gonna be having flying cars.
Remember, we got flying cars too now.
So this is all within movies.
And with the AI part is really sad, y'all, because do y'all know that AI is actually making the decisions for people who fill out applications for housing?
They online is say AI mode.
So the AI is basically saying, oh yeah, you ain't fit the criteria for this apartment.
Like, who are you as a robot to tell me?
So yeah, it's sad, y'all.
It's sad.
Thank you for calling in, lady.
You are a family member of the lunch break.
Appreciate you.
Call anytime you want, because that is a very true thought process that I have not even... I don't think I heard anybody even bring that up before.
AI grading who's going to be eligible to receive certain apartments.
go anywhere.
You're listening to The Lunch Break with Ray and Eddie and maybe Shannon, where every discussion is on the menu on the award-winning 101.7 The Truth.
Swiping cards and stacking chips I saw you sinking ships Let me stand them in the pouring rain Now I've got a heavy diamond chain My pocket's getting thicker The watch is moving quicker My knee talk is much louder now But I can't sweep through the night Can't sleep through the night To see your face in the glass Why do you
Welcome back.
Welcome back to your favorite two hours of the day with your favorite crew in the brew.
The Lunch Break crew, Ray Nitty, maybe Shannon, DJ, Brother Z, holding us down with the production and sound, man.
We building some special up here at 1017, the truth, man.
Award-winning.
Award-winning.
We building some special up here, man, with the Lunch Break.
We thank everybody for growing with us, too, man.
We're going to be singing this song at the end of the year.
We're going to be throwing cash everywhere, buying everybody lunch around this town.
But I got a question, Shannon.
Call us up.
833-212-1017 is the number to dial.
But before we get into my question, I want to know what you was going to say before we went to break it in.
You can go ahead and take our call.
Yeah, of course, of course, so it kind of abstract noir said if you're unfit to rent AI is not giving no cares in the world and it kind of piggybacks off of what the last caller said Because there's been places where I've heard they check their Applications for work through AI.
They also check
Renter applications through AI they even check like insurance has been denying people by using AI and I just had a whole thing with insurance company because I'm like why didn't you accept this claim and they like well we sometimes you at use AI and it's like what is happening and You know piggybacking off of what abstract said it takes away that personal that personal aspect of things because if AI deems you unfit to rent or unfit to do whatever they don't
I feel like if you're talking to a human and you don't meet all of the qualifications, a human may adjust a little bit because of whatever circumstance they're in.
They might be willing to hear you out, but if AI is doing all the checking, it's
just,
There's no wiggle room for you.
Even when, like I said, you fill out applications for jobs, you fill out applications for apartments, they're using AI now, and I feel like
Whereas if a human was using that, they could add in the human aspect of like the person-to-person situational things.
But yeah, if we move in toward AI, things are going to get real strict around here.
Well, hey, how y'all doing?
I think the problem is y'all letting AI is out thinking y'all because you're too honest.
See, in a world of elusive, you never answer the question, you ask around it.
Okay?
See, they're picking your brain.
See, when they ask you a question, you always ask the opposite.
You know who can outthink AI, a junkie, because they fast and stay high all day and all they do is think.
You think about that.
Just think about it.
For example, they say what you do for a living.
Well, they say what you do for a living you say it depends on what time of the day So y'all y'all y'all y'all not y'all y'all thinking like you're normal Normal will always get you effed up.
You got to think like the unnormal Don't think like the normal see when you think like the normal then they will stop you from moving You want to think the opposite?
See y'all you give too much to AI let AI work
If you know how to answer a question, then you can make AI work for you.
Prime example, I call them, I say, is this a person?
They say, no, you're talking to AI.
I say, I want to talk to a person.
Then I say, what did a pinky say to the dial tone?
They say, repeat, I don't click.
You have to think.
Y'all stop thinking normal.
Normal is what gets you effed up.
You know, have you ever heard that said a person from the street can outthink somebody who a person with books?
You're thinking with you're thinking too normal.
You want to think not normal and that's how you can move and groove Think about how all these people some of these people work in the bank and they got felonies for fraud You think they went in there and they say well, I got things for fraud.
No, they changed the last number on the Social Security number
And now they're CEO, they're CFO or they're over money or finances.
Stop thinking normal, make AI work.
Or if they ain't good enough, talk to a junkie.
They'll tell you how to be there.
Every factor, ring theory, every law.
How do you think some people go to prison?
They come out beating the judges and beat because all they got time to do was read and turn tricks for common sense.
Think.
Have a good day.
Bye bye.
Let me just give you a little nip nip.
All right?
Look.
doing?
Excuse me
I'ma throw some water on
I thought you said water.
That's it.
That's how you
my god.
Hey, you carry beer and
You ain't got no business cheating with no robot.
No, that's that's cheap.
That's cheap.
That ain't no toy.
That's that's that's that's another.
human.
That's another form of a species, especially if they put a
I'm I'm with I'm without oh you got a you got a you got a rattle they brain sometimes one time I asked AI what what the AI really stand for because it don't stand for artificial intelligence I asked it do AI stand for alien invasion and they took them they laughed at me like like they know something that I don't know and that they're really sparse and curiosity in my mind so I got the axe and I'm like who made you
And they got the giving me to run around with all of these other people that made them, but technically nobody really made them.
And you know, it's really a lot that's going on in this world that we don't know about yet.
And like, you was gonna slip up.
I feel like you was gonna slip up really here and say they trying to extinct human race, which I really feel like they is.
It's the end of time, bro.
It's really the end of time.
And then I just get online and I see Floyd Mayweather giving.
He can't read.
How are you going to read anybody?
we are
I think they're going to digitize the dollar and that's how people are going to start getting this universal income.
and you'd have to use it.
And then they're gonna control it and say, oh, you can't use it on this type of product.
You can't use it on that type of product.
We'll get in more to that right here on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.
Don't go anywhere.
Appreciate you calling in
lightning.
Hey, cousin.
Don't go anywhere.
The lunch break with the Rayonetti and maybe Shannon will be right back on the award-winning 1017 The Truth.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is the menu.
Hope y'all got fooled, man.
This was when you walk in your house and Johnny the Robot taking your wife through eternity.
This is what he going to be playing.
the
people actually create emotional attachments to chat GPT because it can talk back to you it can form opinions it can give you information so people before they get the robot in the physical you got people actually thinking they in a relationship with chat GPT there was a situation where a young man killed himself because he thought he was talking to like some fictional character from I think it was um
What was it?
It was from one of these shows and it told him like you know come be with me You know what you have to do and he was like all right cool.
So people are forming emotional attachments to Just talking to these things and then you put a face and a piece on that month Imagine what he would have did if he was walking around with that
But man, no, it's a that's a very interesting question, though, because, you know, we have so many views on layers on what's considered cheating and what's not considered cheating.
We are getting into a world.
And if we want to sit here and think that somebody hasn't already thought about the idea of putting some units on these robots, we got
another
Yeah.
You know what I honestly don't even think it's gonna be when we a bit older right like I genuinely feel like it's gonna move so fast Because when you think about it cell phones happened what like the 90s is when people really start having like cell phones and they was them big bricks But once cell phones happen the pace that things move mm-hmm have cell phones from
Forever, you know I'm saying but as soon as cell phones happen it moved so quickly and advanced so quickly and now we got Stuff that we couldn't imagine just when we was kids and now we see in chat GPT Get rolled out to us what last year people start getting on it And now it's in our cars now it's a part of everyday life and now it's doing these amazing things Only with them one year.
So I don't even think it'll be when we a bit older I genuinely think it's gonna be far quicker than what we what we
Imagine.
No, I agree with you because you absolutely right.
It was like once the internet sped up, so did everything else.
And like, let's think about it, right?
For us to ignore the fact that we have been programmed to start thinking like, OK, this is this is normal now.
If we go way back to we saw iRobot, we saw Terminator.
And I'm of the mindset to believe like a lot of this technology was around back then.
But it was like, how do we introduce this to society in a way where it's not too overwhelming for the human population and the human mind to conceive?
So they had to show us enough images and normalize robots and and the future and all of these things in our minds.
So now.
Yeah, when your robot
So I think the humanoid robots era is on the way.
And it is going to be way faster than we're anticipating.
And.
It's fun.
It's fun and games right now to just laugh at them running around the tracks.
And as we are getting more normal to see him move more like humans, we're going to start seeing it.
They already got little robots rolling around delivering food.
So
And then imagine when they start putting.
Flesh like silicone on top of these exteriors those metal exteriors that could make it feel warm like human flesh Hmm Why do we think that's not a possibility?
Why would we think that that's not even?
Something that they're already considering I Don't know man.
I don't want us to get too comfortable
Y'all, I want us to, I do want us to have some sort of embracing of technology, right?
But I don't want us to rely on it so much that we forget that we're actually humans and we lose the importance of actual human connections.
It is vital for our existence.
It is vital for our sanity.
Don't lose what's important in this whole technology drive.
Yes, embrace it.
Yes, new millionaires will be made.
because of technology and AI and all of these things.
But there is another side that I don't think we're considering all the way, Shannon.
And I want us this weekend to think about that.
We had fun today, but it was a lot of serious undertone to it.
So, Shannon, take us home, man.
That's our time.
