It's still your decision about the situations that you didn't bob yourself in.
Look into their taxes.
Look into this.
We talking about elected officials doing backdoor deals and somehow she still wanna blame immigrants.
That's what we talking about right now.
We following the money and you still wanna blame black people and immigrants and welfare and all of these things for policies and backdoor deals that put poor people in worse position.

say Milwaukee public schools.
We the public schools.
Right, right, right.
My bad.
Listen, so we were supposed to get into the appetizer, y'all.
And today, we got quite the appetizer, man.
Cousins.
Tennessee is preparing to do something that they haven't done in more than 200 years.
200 years!
Guess what that is, y'all?
Guess, guess.
i'm a little
too
excited about this topic which i shouldn't be i should be more somber because they're about to execute a woman but this woman i believe should have been executed 30 years ago but any who christa pike is scheduled to be executed on september 30th for murder of a 19-year-old named calleen slimmer slumber i want to say s l e m m e r if you guys want to look up this case
Yeah, but some people are asking the governor to spare Pike's life y'all they asking her to they asking the governor to spare her they think she should have life instead of Being executed.
She has been on death row.
I want to say for 30 years.
I think this crime happened in 95 y'all So she been I personally believe she been able to sit too long They should have got rid of her a long time ago, but we'll get let's get into it
So this is why people are calling for clemency pikes attorney points to severe childhood abuse mental illness and the fact that she was just 18 when she killed calling They argue that the jury deciding her punishment did not hear enough about her background And they want the governor to change her sentence to life without parole They are not asking for her release.
They're asking for life y'all so Before we get into exactly what she did
She did kill someone, right?
She got she got sentenced to death.
This did happen when she was 18.
And what they are referencing her background for is because she was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, which had her born with permanent brain damage.
Like you can't tell looking at a picture of her, but she was born with brain damage because her mom drank and smoked and everything under the time when she was pregnant with her.
She also was born into a severely abusive family.
I think her mom ran off and then she ended up with her grandparents which were also abusive and would lock her in closets and all these terrible things.
She went on to move with another side of the family where she was sexually abused from the age of like two and up and then she ended up going to Job Corps where she was supposed to be working on getting her life together and this is where the crime took place.
So she did have a
Terrible upbringing, right?
That's that's you know, that is true But let's get into what happened, right Colleen and Pike Were students at Job Corps in Knoxville January 1995 Pike her boyfriend to Darrell and another student And Colleen went to a secluded area
Colleen was then beaten, stabbed, struck in the head with, I think, asphalt.
The court records say she begged for them to stop, tried to escape multiple times, and the investigators found a pentagram carved into her chest, like the witchcraft symbol carved into her chest.
Afterward, a classmate testified that Pike told her that she had killed Colleen and showed her a piece of her skull.
She said that she had taken it as a souvenir the classmates said pike smiled and dance while describing the murder The next morning pike reportedly showed the skull fragment to another student about the blood on her shoes There also was talk about witchcraft and dark magic pike and her boyfriend to Darrell Where photographed wearing pentagram necklaces and symbol the
the same symbol that was carved into the victim's body, right?
And that distinction matters because they truly did like worship the devil.
I think she had like a weird nickname called little devil and all this stuff, like just some silly stuff going on over there, right?
Pac was convicted and sentenced to death while her boyfriend, he was only 17 at the time he ended up getting life.
And I think that also is one of the things that they're trying to bring up when it comes to
this When it comes to them trying to get her off they're like well, he didn't get the death penalty But he was also 17 and she was 18 at the time and that's kind of where that difference happened and I do believe In in my read that I have prepared for you guys I didn't really get into detail of how gruesome this murder was they said they beat this girl for almost 60 minutes and they said multiple times like she didn't even die right away like they literally quoted
Krista basically saying like it wasn't like
oh,
they said they be her so badly She was gargling on her own blood while Krista was asking her do you know who's doing this to you and she could like
Response still so they beat her for 60 minutes took a skull fragment from the girl and bragged about it So this isn't just yo every day like yeah, I killed somebody whoop-dee-doo This was like gruesome And they're saying she needs to uh, you know, she shouldn't be she shouldn't be facing a death sentence They said the eye and do this in 200 years of that y'all gonna do it to her.
I Think she should have been gone.
I personally do so
Cousins,
Can life in prison without parole be justice for Colleen?
Or should Tennessee carry out Krista Pike's death sentence?
Mind you, this girl's mother is still alive.
She's said to be executed on the 30th.
That's when our goal is meet.
So hopefully y'all can get us to a thousand.
in the Facebook group on the same day,
we can celebrate this woman
Jesus, that was insane.
The views and opinions.
What did I say?
What did I do?
What did
I do?
So we can celebrate this woman's execution.
Sick of it.
Come on
I Don't think you need you she shouldn't have been in jail for 30 years playing with these people time Yeah, after these messages, I want to hear from y'all
Y'all think she should just have life in prison?
I've heard some people say, we're still alive.
They shouldn't be taking another life because one life, man.
What up, y'all?
Maybe Shannon, DJ Brother C. That dance don't even go to that song.
Oh, man.
Live from the American family and sharing studios.
833-212-1017 is the number to die.
833-212-1017 is the number to die.
What y'all doing?
Y'all want her to, uh, you know, just get life?
That's the only reason she's sad.
She done lived life.
She did this when she was 18.
Lived her best life.
And people like, well, I saw a comment where somebody said they felt like...
Being in prison that long is more tortured.
I was like no, it's not you build your own life the date being closer.
That's the torture That's why she's oh free me guys.
She wasn't man.
I heard she was in prison cutting up.
She was choked somebody with a shoestring in there Should have been out the way.
I'm sorry.
This is why I am pro choice.
They should have yeeted that baby.
Come on,
man
How you doing my
Yeah, just catching the tail in the know What if this lady do to deserve for her to be there like that?
Cracked her skull with a asphalt, took a piece of the skull to school and showed her friends her bloody shoes.
Stabbed her too.
Stabbed her a few times.
The girl tried to run away.
They chased her down, stabbed her again.
Almost like Clancy.
Oh my god, but worse
was
Okay, well, I think she said too long on our on our dime on taxpayer money They should they should have done it.
They should have done it right away.
Hmm.
You know, so I don't understand it.
Fire and we gotta send them matches
We got to send a message because it's a lot of hideous crimes and beatings like that that's going on and we got to send a message to these young, these young generations that's coming up now doing this type of stuff.
Well, this is crazy.
I hear you, I hear you.
Like Charles Barkley said back in the day, it should be death day.
Not no sitting around on no death row for years.
Deaf day.
Shots out to security, Mike.
So what I do want to clarify up now, you know, I know a lot of times our young generation get looped into a lot of the negative stories.
This isn't like a current young person.
This was somebody who was young 30 years ago.
If I'm not mistaken, right, Shannon?
So she this, this ain't, you know, this ain't somebody who came from this generation that we like to, you know, put those stigmas on of like, oh, this young generation is this person, 50 something, you know, I'm talking about this 50 something right now.
But they saying they had all of these, um, whatever.
You posted something, Shannon, about two hours ago.
And it just caught my eye as I was sitting here just looking through the stuff, right?
It was D.L.
Hewley.
How do you see it now?
No, it wasn't anything you said.
You posted something from D.L.
Hewley, right?
And it says, America has more compassion for a woman that killed three of her kids than for a woman who wants to find out what happened to hers.
talking about Nolan's Wells, mom.
And that just kind of like took me back as we was sitting here and listening to, you know, the situation with this lady here right now.
And it's going to be interesting to see if she gets off.
I feel like we're about to see a snowball effect of all these.
White women or white men that has been
Somebody can need help and I can completely understand dang this person needed help and we do need to take mental health more seriously This is what happens to people that aren't taken care of and people that are neglected sometimes things go bad, right?
But I don't believe the general public should be
victims of these rotten eggs.
Sorry.
I'm sorry she got abused.
It's so sad she was assaulted and all these horrible things happened.
But I, oh, girl ain't deserve to get chased down, stabbed, beat for 60 minutes, gargling on her own blood, begging for her life, beat with a piece of asphalt to the point where her skull was on the ground and this girl picked it up and showed the whole school about how she did this and was so proud of herself.
She
don't
Jesus.
All right, y'all.
You should not lie.
There's somebody that you wish you would have did something to, but you didn't and you took a high road.
You know, what helped you overcome that choice, that decision?
Because that's real.
A lot of people don't put thought between, you know,
Emotion and action.
You know, people have an emotion and then they immediately respond to it with an action.
And sometimes that action is somebody losing their life in there.
So you had some thought before beating the person, Shannon.
You know, that's why I asked that
Miles said they could do whatever.
We're still waiting on Nolan Wells' crime, Al's to be brought to justice.
I think we're going to be waiting on that a while, man.
Have a few questions on that topic since it's TN1.
I don't know what TN1 means, but why didn't they get... Tennessee.
Oh, why didn't they get her back then?
Second, if both are white,
Is the crime considered white on white crime?
Jesus.
We got some cousins,
I got to pre-read before I read out loud.
Third, how come Marcellus Williams got done with?
I'm not familiar with Marcellus Williams.
But this one's still here, even though she is obviously, oh, even though she's obviously guilty.
Brother Z is a super producer.
Anita Nicole said, Shannon said, yeeted.
Jasmine said, slender man type joint.
Absolutely.
Giving real slender man vibes.
Giving real slender man vibes.
Don't say Ray.
Watch out for Shannon.
She is on fire.
I wish Shannon would try to put hands on me.
Ain't nobody going.
Ray never made me that man.
It's the people in the world that made me mad.
Ray never made me that man.
Oh, yeah, y'all want Shannon to kill me?
That crazy.
Oh, because I asked if she was thinking about bringing somebody over suspicious.
Nah, I got to
die.
was wrong punch.
What we do?
Aw.
It's supposed to be 1230.
We going to be giving y'all what's popping with Shannon.
She got another wild story.
Not even a wild story.
The things that she just like, I don't understand.
You know, sometimes I guess with violence or physical violence, she put thought between emotion and action.
But when it comes down to violence against men, Shannon just be firing straight from the frontal lobe.
against the entire male truth nation?
I'm not even doing it.
First of all, it wasn't the entire male truth nation because Benjamin didn't call in and agree with me.
Also, Biko didn't call in.
Man.
Doc B did call in, no.
Former truth, I guess.
Come on now.
But if Al could be right when he right, why can't I?
Right?
But when we come back, y'all, when we would come back, we'll get in to us popping with Shannon.
And don't forget, coming up later today, we will be giving away Bryson Tiller tickets right here on the award-winning one-on-one,

Welcome back to the award-winning one-on-one, 7 to Truth, live from the American Family Insurance Studios.
It's your favorite crew in the brew, the lunch break crew.
And it is lunchtime, y'all.
Yes, you are now punched in on your lunch break, man, with Ray Nitty, maybe Shannon, DJ Brother Z, holding us down with the production and sound.
Man, real serious moment, truth family.
You know, we all family, we all cousins.
We just got a text message on the truth line from one of our family members, one of our listeners on the station asking for prayer for their family who is burying their nephew today, who was murdered by the police.
So keep tomorrow burying their nephew tomorrow.
So we're praying for Marquis G and the whole family who will be laying their family member to rest tomorrow.
So if you
know them,
This is what's popping with me today.
Alright y'all so Yesterday, I just so happened to make a Facebook status and we can start there before I get into my explanation because I feel like people people was trying to be hard on the girl without without Understanding where I was coming from right and I think this is my platform to be able to explain to y'all what I was talking about
We gon' get into some comments and we gon' talk about Ray comments, cause Ray was in the comments too.
Stirring up mess.
Y'all think I'm the problem.
Ray is the problem.
So, I made a status and I said it is a lot of grown men looking for a father figure in their friends.
That's it.
That's what I said.
That is all I said.
And we don't get into into some of the comments, right?
I'm gonna go to the first few comments that were Saying that ain't true So comedians say I said I wouldn't say father figure yet.
I do believe every man needs a man to look up to That's why you mind the company you keep because if you're not learning from your friends or have a friend that inspires you What's the point people take everything as a joke?
That's why so many
Men rather be haters because they can't follow real leaders.
It's a lot of men I look up to and it's a lot of men that look up to me.
That's not a problem I'm not gonna remind response because it's gonna give away what I'm trying to say here, right?
Because I completely agree with him.
We also got Ray in the comments.
I'm skipping some comments to get to
right
What are looking women looking for and they friends
Brianna Allen said I wouldn't call it a father figure just men being each other support system during life I don't know if you're saying they don't hold each other accountable when they're wrong or if you're saying it's men that want to be like their friends The wording is a little confusing.
I only said two sentences, but I let them know I ain't like I said, I'm not reading my responses I just want to read to y'all how it was received, right?
And someone said in a man Yes, but friends
Question mark.
And then the same person when I responded what I meant said, yeah, it's a lot of women that don't have an identity.
Everything looks and sounds the same.
It's a breath of fresh air seeing people who are out of the box.
What they got to do with what I didn't say?
Man, love the twist things.
Y'all talk about me twisting things.
I said two senses and we somewhere else, right?
Tiffany said, man, especially here in Milwaukee.
They be following, listening to them as if they're their dads, even if they slow and lost.
It's unbelievable.
And it's rare to find a normal man.
Coach Choney says, sadly, this is true.
A lot of them are born without a male role model, depending on how long the friendship has been.
They have collectively learned, leaned on each other for a good and bad time.
And often they look for validation in those same men who have been through.
through all of this with them.
It's not a bad thing, but sometimes your best friend knows you better than you know yourself and you need them to call you out on things.
Also, you see how they handle situations and it might be able to alter the way you look at it.
Parenting, relationships, money management, things they should have learned from their father, right?
So.
Other than that, there was a few people, like somebody said, if both men are supporting themselves and one's more knowledgeable about certain aspects of life, what's the problem?
That's a mentorship.
But then I got somebody said, true.
I've seen this a lot in prison.
Uh-oh.
I'm in trouble.
No, because we're going to let Ted speak.
I'm going to let Ted speak, and then we're going to go back into this.
Hello, Ted.
Hey, Shannon.
Wonderful
So first I think it's a loaded topic, right?
Okay, I think the I think the the initial the initial comment came off as if like Like if you look at the polls if you look at all the reactions you got to it.
It was more so of like
Women and people laughing right and then you have the one guy on there say yeah, I've seen it's a lot like in prison I'm like well that that makes sense in prison, but
in real
life with with men I think man gotta have other men to look up to because How how do they discover what it is of being a man?
So a lot of people grow up without without that so a lot of people grow up without that so
you do turn to your friends.
Now, when your response to what I said was like, you know, looking for confirmation from them with everything that you do, I think that is the part that's like, okay, I see what you're saying with that because it is some following dudes out there saying, hey, you think I should do this?
You think I should do that?
You think I should do this?
And they're not making their own decisions.
But like, you know, following guys that may have business or guys that inspire you to, you know, be like them or move like them or think like them.
in a positive manner, I think that's okay.
I think things get a little hazy and guys don't look to other guys to get a positive outlook on the things that they got going on because the side note is, oh, he a follower, oh, he got this from him or he got that from him.
So then they just stay away from it.
And then it grows the mentality of like, well, just hate on the next man, even if you're right.
Right, and I completely understand that that's why I was like I'm not gonna read the responses I just wanted to read the initial comments because I felt like maybe people were taking it a different way and I was coming from the angle of being a woman where you hear women all the time like man that dude is gay, but I'm like and this is where the status was born from because I was like I know a lot of gay men with backbone and with their own identity and it got me thinking what I think
is these men are looking for father figures.
They're looking for somebody to validate them.
They're constantly looking for somebody to be like, oh, OK, like I'm proud of you or whatever.
So that's where it came from.
So I completely agree with your statement.
I don't think it's anything wrong with having a male role model.
I don't think it's anything wrong by being inspired.
Matter of fact, more men need to hold men accountable.
So thank you for calling
on.
Don't call him Ted, don't you dare raise a bad apple
she be
It was very loaded.
Y'all dudes be looking for fire figures and like, come on now.
And then when I say the same question, I'm starting stuff.
I asked, what do women look for in their women friend, Shannon?
I said, not a mother.
It is like, so why we gotta be looking for a father?
You see how you went, take us to break, Shannon.
I knew, I said this is gonna start some trouble and it's not just gonna be a what's poppin' to Shannon, it's gonna spill over into our plate.
Take us to break, Shannon, cause I got something to say.
Hey, when we come back, we got more from me.
What's poppin'?
I'll be back here listening to the award-winning 101.7, the truth.
Hey!
I'm in charge!
You in charge, I wanna hear you say that.
Say it!
I'm in charge.
You my partner.
I know.
Say I'm
in charge.
I'm in charge.
