Something that's been taken up the airwaves, really, the internet, pop culture.
And it has some Milwaukee...
similarities.
So let's let's let's get into this real quick Shannon.

So a few days ago, there was a video that surfaced of Bloodhound Q 50.
He is a rapper.
Let me clarify that because at first I didn't know who he was.
I'm gonna be honest with you.
I was like, wait, who?
What happened?
So, there's a disturbing video that has surfaced in some details that are coming out after that have people asking a lot of questions.
Chicago rapper Bloodhound Q50 whose real name was Mikhail Cooper.
I'm gonna say Michael.
It could be Michael, but fancy spelling.
You know, we like to spell fancy Lee was 22 years old just 22 y'all and he was shot and killed early Sunday morning September 13th at a BP gas station on Chicago's Southside According to Chicago police reports Q 50 pulled into a gas station near 42nd and Wentworth in the Fuller Park neighborhood around four in the morning
He was there with his, with a 29 year old woman.
Police says, um, two different vehicles in infinity and a Honda arrived around the same time and authorities believe six gunmen were involved in the attack.
Six y'all.
Hmm.
When Q 50 returned to his Teslas, the shooters reportedly opened fire from multiple directions.
One witness told Chicago Sun Times that he heard was sounded like more than a hundred shots.
Investigators reportedly placed dozens of evidence markers around the scene.
Q 50 was struck in the chest and the shoulder and was pronounced dead.
there is another detail that is coming forward from a witness that makes things more disturbing.
This witness was the woman that was in the car with Q 50.
And she said that she told
Told him when he came back outside that men were had approached the vehicle and warned her that this was his last night alive and after surveillance Footage starts to spread online Everybody had the same question people were like why didn't he just pull off?
So that's the debate happening online because when you watch the video you can see that Q 50 got back into the driver's seat and for a few seconds
The Tesla just remains there while the
men are
closing in.
The woman who says she was inside of the car, she publicly spoke out on social media and she said while Q50 was inside the gas station, she noticed that they were walking around the vehicle and acting suspiciously.
According to her post, Q50 came back outside.
She was telling him to hurry up and pull off, but she claims that the Tesla would not immediately move.
because his seatbelt was not fastened while he was trying to put the vehicle into drive.
She wrote, the car would not pull off because of his seatbelt and said that once she heard gunfire, she jumped out and ran, screaming for help.
She also described Q 50 as her homie, her lover and the father of her unborn child.
Now.
This is the part that's important.
The seat belt explanation was not has not been confirmed by investigators or Tesla So you know the online investigators?
They've been going back for that don't sound right.
That ain't no feature on a car
can't drive cuz your seat belt that don't make sense So people attacking her and you do see in the comments some people are actually saying she must have set them up somehow That's why he didn't pull off.

So I'm guessing this was a different witness because if that was the case I would have texted him like hey,
me being weird You know I'm saying so I gotta I definitely got to do some research on that because they definitely said there was a witness That was warned
as the witness says

But I'm definitely interested because yeah, it says the witness says the woman who was with Q 50 told him that before Q 50 came back outside, one of the men had approached the Tesla and essentially warned her that this was going to be his last night alive.
So I wonder if she texted him while in the gas station.
That's probably why he looked hesitant to come back outside.
But I'm super unfortunate situation.

And then when she got in the car, she was like, hey, people are walking around this car.

And that's probably why he did ask like, hey, you got your gun on you.

that I encourage this behavior.
Unfortunately, I'm watching the video right now.
And the video that I'm watching is I see him inside the gas station.
And then he kind of walks to the door, walks back, walks back inside.
And so I'm assuming the girl was still in the car the whole time.
I don't think she went in the gas station with him.
So I think she saw the guys outside the gas station walking around looking at the Tesla.
She must have texted him something or said something to him, which prompted him to say something to the security guard.

Then Bloodhound must have got the, you know, the spooks and was just like, all right, well, I guess I'll just, you know, get up on out of here.
And he got back
in the
car.
And then that's when because the there's a guy in a green hoodie.
He walks in the gas station, sees him in the gas station, walks back out right after

to the pump where by another car.
And then that's when

gas pump starts shooting back out on the drop on the passenger side.

You had ties to Milwaukee.
They did a lot with some artists in the city as well.
But Shannon has given us an update on this situation.
We heard about the witness and now we're getting into everybody, you know, our internet cousins is all detectives.
So they're talking about the functions of the car and how you are able to get in or out or move a Tesla.
So let's get into that part of this story here, Shannon.
Of course, so at this point we know she says that the seat belt was the reason for the delay because a lot of people brought up Why didn't he just speed off?
He had a few seconds to get out of there And but what we don't know is for certain that the seat belt actually caused it because Tesla didn't confirm it Obviously investigators haven't had the chance to confirm it, but like you said our internet investigators
are basically having this back and forth.
And I would hate to be in this woman's position because there's so many people that don't know the functions of a Tesla that are like, that don't make sense.
That ain't true.
You
set them up.
You hit the keys and you told them not to move.
It's just so sad being in a traumatizing position like that.
And now you have people online blaming Tesla, blaming her, accusing her of setting him up.
And it just hasn't been established by the police.
So what the police have said is that it appears To have been a coordinated ambush involving multiple shooters as of right now No arrests have been made announced and the police have not publicly established a motive even though a lot of Gossip around the city is saying exactly what the motive is and Q 50 himself had actually talked recently about knowing
His life could be in danger and in an interview just last month.
He said that he wasn't chasing death But he wasn't running from it either and he acknowledged that one mistake could cost him his life Yeah, so I think there's a couple conversations here one is another 22 year old dead from gun violence Which like I said earlier like I hadn't really before having to do this report.
I have seen it online because it's
Like, you can't avoid it at this point, the conversations that are going on.
Just because it's so disheartening that another young life has been lost.
To watching that video, it raises an uncomfortable question.
How much we rely on technology in emergency situations, right?
And if you are in immediate danger, should there ever be a safety feature, security feature like pins, seatbelts, requirements, touchscreen, anything standing between you and simply putting your foot on the gas?
Now again, we don't know what actually happened here, but the woman inside the car believes that those few seconds matter.

So, yeah, it's just super unfortunate.
When stuff like this happens, people are so quick to blame.
Whoever the person is with and like I can only imagine like the weight of even being In that situation with a person like that's First you know what nope this ain't the time for that conversation I just feel like at what point this woman is a 29 year old woman, okay, and he's 22 which is Substantially younger
And I guess the thing, like, I'm not shaming the relationship in my side eye in a little bit maybe, but at 29, you would think you have a little more sense.

somebody involved.

I'm just saying,
I feel like whoever the older person is in the relationship should probably have a little more sense.
Why are we on the south side of Chicago knowing you got beef in these streets?
You would ever catch me if I know like like you said like he said, I'm sorry I'm not chasing death, but he's accepted the fact that he's got enough beef out here that his life could always be in danger You wouldn't catch me nowhere near where I didn't tour up the city.

you ain't gonna catch me in Chicago So I just don't understand that mind frame that a lot of people being like where you used to run rapid and Now you have this rising career.

And I do understand people have friends and families and some people have like it's like a Culture shock even when people go out out of town, you know I'm saying I get people all the time like man I moved out of town for a little bit and I couldn't do it.
It was too different so
Is it worth your life?
I don't know, and I don't know why people stay, but I do know as a 29 year old woman, if I knew I'm dealing with a guy that is always in something, I don't want to be nowhere near what you've been in.
We ain't going to the town of Chicago together.

He said in one of his Instagram packages, ops or whatever, which they always drop your location.
I never understood that you want your enemies to come and find you.
And for the morning, how would they know he was there?
I mean, I'm just supposed to be bulletproof.
I mean, all these questions, whatever.
I don't know if that's true.
But anyway, I saw on his little Instagram thing where this guy was saying that it, you know,
But if you, if you, that you have basically, excuse my language, that you're basically with JJ, that you ain't did nothing in the streets to go to hell.
So you really ain't got no, you ain't got no working streets to go to hell.
And I'm like, why would you put that on yourself?
But if you are, if you go to heaven, somehow you're weak, that's the type of person, then his mama, she ain't no better because.
On her little Instagram, she's like, if you feared my son, you got to fear me now.
So that if anything happens to any of his so-called ops, if they don't get caught, she's already indicated that she's looking for revenge.
I understand you want to be mad, you pissed off all that, but you're a mother coker who's on your grieving, and you're calling more evil spirits to it than to your world.
You should be ready to put your 22-year-old son
He's a baby in my eyes.
Didn't live long enough.

The shooters came on the driver's side and shot, but the guy that followed him in the store ran back to the other car at the pump.
And they, to me, it looked like they didn't start shooting until after she got out the car.
That's what it looked like to me.
But, um, says Tesla need a danger setting mode, butting button.

Talking about all these features, Shannon, what's what's your thoughts?
Tell us about what the Tesla experience is and getting in.
Is it certain models or all Teslas have the same features?
Yeah, so I had the 2023 before I had the 2026, which I have now
I will say clock in.
But.
People were saying, oh, it's the older models.
And even in the 2023 and in the 2026, I'm not to pop it, but I'm the first owner of both.
OK.
And you have to, it came like that.
People are like, well, it's a setting.
You can change it.
Most people don't go into their settings and keep changing stuff around.
Both cars, to pull off, you do have to be seatbelted.
That's why when people are arguing with her saying that's not even a feature and she making it up.
I call cap because it is 100% a feature in the car.
I don't know what model he has, but it is true.
You cannot pull off if you don't have your seatbelt on.
Even if I stop at a stoplight and I take my seatbelt off, it will throw my car in park.
Like, where you going?
No, we're not doing that.
So can the seat feature be overrided?
Probably.
But I know for a fact that is a feature.
As far as them saying that she must have taken the key card or moved the key card if I don't know if that was a rental or if it was his car
But I
do know Tesla your main key is not that key card the key card is actually a spare key That's why people that have rented them before will say that's your key.
That is not your key Your key is your phone.
There's an app on Tesla With Tesla that you get is the owner and that
When the phone is detected near the car, you can automatically drive it.
That's your key.
I can do a lot for my phone.
I could tell what address my car is at.
I could tell what temperature my car is.
I can start it.
I can make, oddly enough, you can make your car fart from the app.
That's random feature.
Right.
It's literally a fart feature that we will talk about.
We're getting past.
I'm just going down the features.
You can see inside your car you can see every single angle outside of your car even when it's parked every single angle is recorded right left front back
Inside and if somebody pulls your handle it will say your handle has been accessed so there are a lot of safety features As far as like some people blow it can't go past the certain limit that also is controlled in the apps with your renting a Tesla like if I gave you my car I could be like we ain't letting you drive past 50 but testers are really fast and Somebody mentioned the pin code
That's something you put on your car.
That doesn't come with a Tesla car.
That's that's one of those features you can't add because if somebody stole my phone and walked up to my car,
just jump in and drive.
But if I have a pen on it, I'll have to type in the pen.
So I do believe that was the lag in his response.
Was it his car or not?
I don't know.
So maybe it could have been the key card situation.
But if it was his car, it wasn't the key card.
And it could have 100 percent been the fact that he did not have a seatbelt on.
And I've mentioned too like a million times and I also mentioned last night on Facebook if I was into any criminal activity I would not be driving a Tesla like that's not a smart like the car is for civilians that want to be protected right
because
like we talk about all the time
technology can be a disadvantage or it can work in your favor and I personally think if I was a criminal and I had a car like if I go into my settings and my like on my touchscreen it'll stay the last few pages I didn't stop that.
If I was a criminal, why do I want my car recording every single place I stopped at?
It'll show places that you frequent.
It'll show literally everything.
If I'm not with my car and somebody else is driving it, I can watch where you're driving.
I know how many miles per hour you are driving my car.
I could change the music for you.
You know what?
We ain't listening to that today.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like so many safety and advanced features that if you are a criminal, you probably shouldn't be driving it.
And like, like you said, it is recording all the time.
And as far as AI goes, I personally love that rocket in my car because while I'm driving, I'm asking questions.
I'm planning out my day.
I'm doing the math on certain things.
I'm like, okay, what budgeting and stuff because you can talk to it as an assistant just like you would AI while you're driving.
But one time I didn't close out the app.
But while I didn't close out the app one time,
I said something and it responded.
I was like, yeah, this person is hating on me.
I said, I'm never hating on you.
Excuse me.
And it was like, I was like, you always listening.
It was like, I'm always in the background just listening.
I was like, oh, OK, now.
All right, now.

But if I'm into criminal activity, I wouldn't feel comfortable with something listening to me all the time.
I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that.
Even if somebody's too close to my car, I have clips of every single person from the last few months that have stood too close to my car.
People getting in and out of their cars.
If you parked next to a Tesla, somebody has clips of you getting in and out of your car.
If you got a little too close, it starts recording.
So for a civilian, great features.
I could even talk like a wring alarm, like, hey, get away from my car.
Through my app.

It's the owner of the car.

Because a Tesla will spoil you to the point like, if I drive a regular car, I genuinely feel like I'm losing it.

I got to check my blind spot in a Tesla.
You don't do that.
Whatever you hit the thing all, you can see around.
You can see behind
driving to the side.
You ain't really got to drive if you hit the silver drive button.
You ain't got to do nothing but talk to Grock.

Like I had a rental last week and I was just like, bro, this is really taxing.

And then on top of it when you switch in lanes it alerts you if you can't get over like somebody coming up too fast Maybe not switch lanes.
You got to be you on your own in a regular car But I will say that's why Tesla drivers get lazy and people be mad and it's so many features like my new one You got a the touch screen is how I shift shift gears like I slide it into a drive slide, but like it ain't even know

In June after leaving the hospital he spent weeks in rehabilitation facility doing physical therapy He finally returned to the capital September 14th, which was yesterday the and that means from the day he was Hospitalized until he came back to the Senate.
We're talking about 92 days three months That man was on PTO.
I'm saying that go going as well because they don't get PTO, but
He was receiving his compensation 92 days that man was you know, what he was good as gone.
I'm gonna say Anyhoo, it still is if y'all see that video, you know, let me get back on
salary is a hundred and seventy four thousand dollars a year So if you break that down three months of his salary is forty three thousand five hundred dollars and that is where things get interesting

And I do feel like a lot of Americans would be fighting for their job at that point.
Meanwhile, an 84-year-old United States senator can be absent for months while continuing to hold one of only 100 Senate seats.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office on August 28 after learning that Thomas Zalikoffer accused of killing three people on August 8th, used his county-issued jail tablet to allegedly intimidate witnesses.
Borowski exacts words.
The rest of society pays a thousand dollars to have a laptop.
We're going to hand a defendant a laptop for what reason?
This wasn't an isolated incident.
Prosecutors say Amir Jones, Jr., accused of stalking and assaulting the mother of his child, used his jail tablet to send over 1,500 unauthorized contact attempts and specific threats, including one directed to the investigating officer.

Crowley's response to program reflects best practices and it is already used in 48 states and his office says it has not.

Tiffany and Browers have made County Board Chair, Marcilia Nicholson, also added important nuance.
The original 2022 request came from the Sheriff's Office and the House of Correction themselves, not from Crowley's office independently, meaning accountability picture is more complicated than a simple one person decision.

Anthony Lehman has been hospitalized after police shot him July 30th.

We know he was just transferred there overnight.
police say they were forced to open fire because he was threatening a hostage he had taken with a knife and a homemade razor weapon.
We've now confirmed that hostage was a complete stranger.
state of Wisconsin versus Anthony J. Lehman.
Nearly three weeks since he was shot by Waukesha police, 21-year-old Anthony Lehman of Waukesha is out of the hospital and into the courtroom.
The commissioner saying his rampage through the Waukesha Meyer July 30th caused panic and ultimately a life-changing injury to a man he's accused of holding hostage.
By all appearances, you went to a busy store.
at a busy time of day, and for no reason whatsoever, terrorized everyone who was in that store.
According to the criminal complaint, layman called 911, saying he'd taken a hostage in the men's room, had a knife and a makeshift razor weapon, he called a quote, dead man switch.
He demanded to speak to a hostage negotiator and wanted quote, multiple hypnotists respond to the scene.
Prosecutors say the hostage refused Layman's order to glue his own hands to the floor and instead fought him off with his belt and buckle.
He's trying to stop the guy with a
belt.
A witness shot this video in the store after police opened fire.
They later said they had to shoot because they thought Layman was about to stab the hostage.
Layman was critically wounded and police determined they unintentionally shot the thumb of the hostage.
In
court, as the commissioner was explaining why he was setting
bail on
one million dollars,
Laman said he had his reasons, but he didn't elaborate.
There was no
political reason.
There was no religious or you weren't in support of this or against that.
You just did it for the hell of it.
And that's what scares me.

about three months McConnell was hospitalized June 14th after suffering a fall in his Washington home He later revealed that he briefly lost consciousness and was also treated for a mild pneumonia
In June after leaving the hospital he spent weeks in rehabilitation facility doing physical therapy He finally returned to the capital September 14th, which was yesterday the and that means from the day he was Hospitalized until he came back to the Senate.
We're talking about 92 days three months That man was on PTO.
I'm saying that go going as well because they don't get PTO, but
He was receiving his compensation 92 days that man was you know, what he was good as gone.
I'm gonna say Anyhoo, it still is if y'all see that video, you know, let me get back on
salary is a hundred and seventy four thousand dollars a year So if you break that down three months of his salary is forty three thousand five hundred dollars and that is where things get interesting
because imagine calling your regular job and being like, hey, I'm gonna be out for the next three months, just keep my position open, keep paying me, and I'll let you know when I'm ready to come back, right?
And I do feel like a lot of Americans would be fighting for their job at that point.
Meanwhile, an 84-year-old United States senator can be absent for months while continuing to hold one of only 100 Senate seats.
So yeah.
That's what happened.
And I think that's why everybody is so, um, shocked.
And he also announced that this would be his final term, right?
He said he was going to leave off the team or 2027.

I'll be clear on who he was targeting, right?
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office on August 28 after learning that Thomas Zalikoffer accused of killing three people on August 8th, used his county-issued jail tablet to allegedly intimidate witnesses.
Borowski exacts words.
The rest of society pays a thousand dollars to have a laptop.
We're going to hand a defendant a laptop for what reason?
This wasn't an isolated incident.
Prosecutors say Amir Jones, Jr., accused of stalking and assaulting the mother of his child, used his jail tablet to send over 1,500 unauthorized contact attempts and specific threats, including one directed to the investigating officer.

This was a contract in twenty twenty two contract with inmate calling solutions provided nine hundred and sixty tablets for the sheriff's office and twelve hundred and thirty two of them for the House of Corrections.
Essentially, universal access.
The contract was extended another three years through March twenty twenty eight.
I'm assuming something is going to change after this contract here is

Last year approved by 16 to two 16 to two by the county board.
The tablets cannot be accessed.
The tablets cannot access to open Internet.
Only the vendors closed.
Intranet of entertainment, educational material and messaging the county stated purpose, helping inmates stay connected to family loved ones and legal and support services.

Crowley's response to program reflects best practices and it is already used in 48 states and his office says it has not.

Tiffany and Browers have made County Board Chair, Marcilia Nicholson, also added important nuance.
The original 2022 request came from the Sheriff's Office and the House of Correction themselves, not from Crowley's office independently, meaning accountability picture is more complicated than a simple one person decision.

Anthony Lehman has been hospitalized after police shot him July 30th.
Tony's Nick Boris live at the County Jail and Nick.
We know he was just transferred there overnight.
police say they were forced to open fire because he was threatening a hostage he had taken with a knife and a homemade razor weapon.
We've now confirmed that hostage was a complete stranger.
state of Wisconsin versus Anthony J. Lehman.
Nearly three weeks since he was shot by Waukesha police, 21-year-old Anthony Lehman of Waukesha is out of the hospital and into the courtroom.
The commissioner saying his rampage through the Waukesha Meyer July 30th caused panic and ultimately a life-changing injury to a man he's accused of holding hostage.
By all appearances, you went to a busy store.
at a busy time of day, and for no reason whatsoever, terrorized everyone who was in that store.
According to the criminal complaint, layman called 911, saying he'd taken a hostage in the men's room, had a knife and a makeshift razor weapon, he called a quote, dead man switch.
He demanded to speak to a hostage negotiator and wanted quote, multiple hypnotists respond to the scene.
Prosecutors say the hostage refused Layman's order to glue his own hands to the floor and instead fought him off with his belt and buckle.
He's trying to stop the guy with a
belt.
A witness shot this video in the store after police opened fire.
They later said they had to shoot because they thought Layman was about to stab the hostage.
Layman was critically wounded and police determined they unintentionally shot the thumb of the hostage.
In
court, as the commissioner was explaining why he was setting
bail on
one million dollars,
Laman said he had his reasons, but he didn't elaborate.
There was no
political reason.
There was no religious or you weren't in support of this or against that.
You just did it for the hell of it.
And that's what scares me.
That's what really scares me and do it for the hell of it.
And so Nick, we knew it wasn't seen then, but now with all
