Dave Knuth joining us on the phone today, but that doesn't mean he probably doesn't have a cold one in his hand, right?
Well, you know, probably in a little bit here.
There you
go.
You've had a pretty
busy week, huh?
Yeah, we're loading up the truck.
We're in full summer mode.
So we're delivering the beer all across Central Wisconsin today.
Very nice.
How
are
you?
Good, good.
Did you survive the storms?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yep.
Not too bad.
Um, I feel bad for our buddy, uh, Craig downtown.
He, uh, his, he had the branch fall on his car.
Oh,
yeah.
Yeah.
We had a neighbor.
Yeah.
I don't think that car is going to make it.
You know,
we had a neighbor south of Oshkosh that, uh, lost pretty much a quarter of his home to an old,
uh,
old tree.
So not good with, uh, I think they clocked the winds on Wednesday at 94 miles an hour in our area.
That's
fast.
Wow.
There was one, uh, as, as they were coming up into the Madison area, I saw on the severe studios chat with the civic network, 104 miles an hour winds.
Geez, that's like hurricane.
It is.
It is.
You don't want to be out on the water during that.
No, I'm glad I didn't have my spailboat out.
Yeah, you would have made it across the lake real quick.
Real fast, yeah.
So how is your new beer going for the 250th anniversary of America?
Oh man, we certainly did not make enough.
Really?
Yeah, it's going crazy, which is great.
We're brewing more.
We're brewing it as fast as we can, but yeah, it's a hot seller.
Which is which is exciting.
It's fun.
It's a beard that I'm passionate about so it's always nice when something works out, you know
Do you just have that at Canooths or are you delivering that elsewhere?
Oh, no, that's you can find that Let's see where deliver we delivered to Bind and rushes has it trouble pig and Oshkosh Let's see Christianity's pizza in what Tomah has it And these these are all on draft of
course
Um, and there's, there's a few others, uh, and then like Mike's wild boar has a bunch, um, festival foods, um, a lot of the Paley Wigley's crossroads market, high V.
Oh, wow.
You know, and six facts.
You want to pick some up and, and then of course we sell it in the brewery too, but yeah, um, it's on tap at a lot of places.
So where do your travels take you today with the beer wagon?
Well, we're going down to, uh, we're going to, we're going to be into Fond du Lac County.
We're going to.
down into Waupon area, Fox Lake, and then we're going to be, uh, Marcus Anne, Green Lake area, and then up to the Princeton, La Toma area, Berlin, and then we'll probably even dip into Winnebago County a little bit too.
Very nice.
Oh yeah.
So any live entertainment coming up, speaking of full swing summer?
Well, we're, uh, we're sponsoring, uh, Smart Mouth, um,
on the Village Green tonight.
So we got the summer concerts are in full swing and weather looks great today.
Right.
Which is nice.
And so we'll have our beer down there.
And then next Friday, we're bringing music bingo back, which was a hit.
We're doing it every third Friday of the month.
So next Friday is the third Friday.
So we're going to do music bingo, which was a blast.
Everybody was singing along.
We got an author signing tonight at the bookstore across the street.
So if you're looking to check that out.
And then we're gearing up for, I kind of mentioned it last week, but we're partnering with the Finnin' Feather on Sunday, June 28th.
Wonderful.
So you can find that Facebook event if you search on our page and I know they have it too.
Or you can just call the Finnin' Feather directly.
And you can get reservations for that, but I'm really excited about that.
I convinced the blight blonde to do that one with me.
So it'll be me and the blight blonde, um, servant beer.
And then they've got a great band from, uh, Nashville coming up and then it's, uh, the three hour boat cruise on the showboat, which is, I'm not, I've never done, but I'm, I'm very excited.
Oh, it's fun.
You know, and the nice thing about that, and it's like the escapade on green lake, even if there is rain in the forecast, you just go down below deck into the dining area.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And the nice, that boat is big.
Um, so they can accommodate a lot of people and we'll have plenty of room down on the deck if, if weather's, but I already dialed up, I already put the order in for the sunshine at 80 degrees.
Oh, absolutely.
Yeah.
So now are you going to bring your little mini bar with your half barrel?
Like you started Canoose Brewing Company with on the
boat.
Yeah.
I don't know what we're going to do if we're going to do, if we're going to bring the little jockey box, mini bar thing, or if we'll do bottles.
That'll probably be a game time decision.
There you go.
We'll see if it rolls on, right?
Oh, yeah.
I got to give a shout out.
Um, we had a great time on, uh, on Tuesday, we were out at La Sonia doing, uh, a video podcast slash promo video for those guys.
And we played some golf and, uh, our buddy, party Marty, um, who's an avid listener.
I think you know, party Marty, party Marty.
from ripping.
To know him is to love him.
So he's one of the Greenskeepers out there.
He's on the video.
We got the voice of LaSonia, our buddy Joe.
We golfed together.
He's a lefty, great golfer.
And we just had a blast.
Well, that'll be coming out pretty soon, folks.
We'll have to check it out.
It was a lot of fun.
Very cool.
And they have the American Logger out there too.
Oh, okay.
Nice.
Well,
anything
else in closing today, Dave?
I don't think so.
Just go brew crew, you know.
Yeah, absolutely.
Crack
a
cold one and enjoy life.
That's right.
Have a great weekend, my
friend.
You as well.
