don't do to that bottle what I saw you did to that one on your social media
Dave. I saw one broken on the floor. Oh yeah. Yeah. You'll have that. Cheers. Cheers. That
was what last weekend. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Our beer looks like this so yours can
look like this and a beautiful six pack. Yeah. It's, you know, where were you
bottling that we were bottling that day. Unfortunately, bottling is, you know, it's just
there's a lot of broken bottles and it's always, I mean, we have this new bottler and actually
this is the first batch of blonde out of the new bottle. Thank you. Cheers. Cheers. Yeah.
It's going great. Well, I shouldn't say that. You know, anytime you install a new machinery,
it's just, you know how that goes? You're preaching to the choir. There's a, there's a dry and out
process or a figuring out process or whatever. You just got to go through it and it's, you know,
it's just part of the deal. It's not always fun. So, um, but yes, or on Wednesday, uh, we,
we took a giant step in the right direction. So what, what kind of, is it just quirks and adjusts?
Yeah, it's just quirks and it, you know, it's like, hey, you know, you build the machine in the,
in the factory, right? Or in the shop, and then you take it and then you install it and it's just,
like it doesn't always work the exact same way. And so, um, plus we're, so we're, it's kind of a cool
story. Actually, uh, we bought the company that we bought this from. They're out of St. Louis.
They're small, small, small shop, um, but great guys. And we bought their first four head filler
in 2015. They opened the same year we did. Oh, okay. And then they just, um, our test running,
uh, six head filler. And it's much more automated. Um, it's got a lot of cool, like, uh, just
different, um, I'm gonna say quality control features. Like we're, we're really like stepping up
the game, like trying to get all the oxygen out and, you know, these oxygen's bad for beer. So,
um, it's, it's a cool machine, but it's the first one they've ever made. So we're the guinea pig,
you know, okay. And I knew that going into it. And, and, you know, it is what it is. Well, someone has
to be, but it's got to be, but it's not me. Yeah. Right. Um, you think I've learned by now. Yeah.
Uh, you got to aggravate yourself. Yeah. Yeah. So it's not a dull moment down at the brewery,
but, but we made a lot of progress. And this is the first batch of blonde off the thing. Well,
it tastes phenomenal. It's got that little St. Louis flavor to it. You know. Oh, yeah. But yeah,
we, uh, we go through that same thing here with electronics. Yeah. Processors, transmitters,
boards. And every time and, and we've had this discussion on this program before too,
power issues out at the tower site for the bug. We bought this brand new,
Eaton trip lights, whatever series, it was almost $2,000. And it lets the rack live on the
battery equipment. Right. It already burned out. Yeah. So, yeah. There's definitely power issues
out there. But it's those kind of things. You, you get brand new stuff out of the box and you go,
well, I jokingly said this will last a couple of weeks. And I think it made it 10 days. And it's
not the Eaton's fault. It's the incoming power. Yeah. So we go through that a lot here in the
radio biz. Well, that's why in the radio biz as in the beer business, you drink beer. That's right.
So I know we'll talk about polka fest, but anything this weekend, uh, nothing this particular
weekend. We had a great time with Taylor J last year. Yeah, I was going to ask how that went. Yeah,
he's so good. Um, the place was rocking too. We had a, I mean, it was like a busy July night.
I don't know what if everybody was getting a cabin fever, it was like the whole place was full.
We even had a bachelor, uh, a bachelor bus pull up about eight thirty. So, um, yeah, Taylor J did
great. Um, nothing this weekend. We're, we're, uh, you know, it's the column before the storm kind
of deal. Yep. A lot of people with their ice shannys head into Winnebago and poignant battle on
Bego next weekend too. Yeah. So it's, uh, while spearing. It's spearing. Yeah. So a lot of people
will be probably head into the ice, but some nice weather, too. Are you going to get out there?
I will, but, uh, you know, my friend, they usually set up near where we're, you know, black wolf
that area, but with the ice being really nice. I guess they're going to be going off of, uh, by
the Carpon. So I am Ida that area north north like towards Nina. Okay. Out of ways. So they're
trying a different area. And then wouldn't you know it? The gas star in snow melted. So, yeah,
I can't hop on the sled and go up there. Right. And then four wheelers not registered for public.
So we'll see depending on where they're at, I may venture out on the jeepster, but
I don't got a, I don't want to jump. You're going to hike out there. No, but I don't want to drop
the daily through as a fishing refiner. Right. Right. We'll see. Oh, yeah.
But, uh, yeah. So it should be nice, uh, weather-wise. How many inches ice are out there?
Well, there's good couple feet. Wow. Yeah. Somebody said you could drive a semi-out there.
You could. Yeah. You could. But, uh, winter polkafest. Winter polkafest. Only one week away.
Run down the day for us. Well, we got, so it kicks off on Saturday, the, the next Saturday.
Right. And, um, 21st, 21st, doors open at 11 a.m. Um, all the bands are going to be upstairs
this year in the, in the event space. So I, we had some people, uh, some of our, uh, I'm going to call
it, uh, more wiser listeners. Maybe, maybe a little more seasoned. Um, they were wondering about
if there's an elevator or parking, how that works. So, so we've got a parking line in the back.
And there's a, there's a nice, real nice EDA trends. Yeah. So you don't have to go in any
steps. So you can park up top, on top the hill and get in the back. And, and we got two fifths
party band going on at noon. Um, we're going to have the, the famous wood-fired beer brats again.
Chilli pizzas, uh, cold beer, of course. This year we're going to add cocktails too because we're
doing it upstairs. So we'll have old fashions and whiskers. We had them upstairs last year, right?
Oh, that's right. Yeah. Yeah. I read about it in a book. That's right. But you were there. Yeah.
Well, you were part of the, did you see the promotional video? I did. I saw the, uh,
Okidoka. Here comes another polka shirt. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, we got that. And then at three o'clock,
we're doing the stone throwing with the mason's down in the brewery. So men's and women's division
prizes for first, second, third, and worse throw. I was going to, oh, that, that, now you got me
included in that. But where do they land? You're throwing them inside inside. They're, they're like,
so I say stone throwing. But for the inside, they have rubber ones. So it's like a, it's like a
giant medicine ball essentially like a weighted medicine ball. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. Boy, that can get
expensive by those. It can. Yeah. Yeah. That's there. We, uh, so that, we actually, did you see,
we had a disc golf tournament in the brewery? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't see that. I wasn't there.
Thankfully, because I was thinking of it. You know, it seemed like a great idea. And it was.
Everybody had a blast. But then I was thinking, man, what if somebody like, do you just tee these up
and then leave the owner? Yeah. This one, I left my daughter had her first dance competition.
So get the heck out of there. Um, come back, count all the front windows.
Right. They're all there. Yeah. Yeah. No, everything was good. So we got the stone throwing
at three. And then of course, uh, everybody's favorite rock, polka band copper box,
taking the big stage at four o'clock. And they're going to play till seven or so.
Sure. And then, uh, you will wind her down. It won't wind down. Yeah. That's what you think. Yeah.
So it sounds like a fun time. Uh, and these events can be found on your website and social
Facebook. Um, or on our, on our website, we've got a event calendar up there too. And we've
got all our other events. Uh, we've got music on the 28th and, and then the weekend after that.
So a lot of music coming up. That's exciting to have this upstairs this year. I think it'll be fun. Yeah.
So anything else this week. I don't think so. Happy Friday, everyone. And, uh, cheers. Cheers.
