But it's a pretty large area in back of my house.

there's a couple stragglers or people who actually like to live in the snow.

The Department of Homeland Security has released a comprehensive list today of all mothers driving cars.

Calling those on the list, quote, the greatest threat to our nation's freedom and safety, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem declared in a statement that her department would stop at nothing to ensure all mothers, both domestic and abroad, are brought to justice for their heinous acts of operating a vehicle.

DHS officials are encouraging Americans to stay vigilant and report any mini vans with happy family bumper stickers to a

authorities immediately.

Steve, now we talked a little bit before this show.

Tell everybody what neighborhood you live in the neighborhood or near the neighborhood where Renee Good was shot and killed.

Is that right?

Yeah, I grew up on the lifelong twins of Minneapolis residents and I grew up two blocks from where Renee Good was shot and two blocks from George Floyd So that's a very active neighborhood down there And right now I probably live About a mile and a half from that neighbor that neighborhood which is very

as you use the word active, I would say it's a lot more than active.

Well, very aggressive down there.

Yeah, describe the activity that's happening.

And apparently it's been going on for what, two, three weeks there?

Yeah, it's been going on for two, three weeks, and it's escalating daily.

Another thousand or two agents, and I'm using air quotes here, are coming into the city.

And they are

indiscriminately pulling people out of cars.

They are going door to door pulling people out of their homes.

They are going into Target stores and pulling cart pullers out and beating them up and putting them in cars and taking them away.

A woman literally, I just got a report just literally a few minutes ago, not far from here, a woman

uh was uh stopped and an autistic woman was pulled was stopped and pulled out of her car and beaten up and put in shackles and put into a back of an SUV um so you know we're not seeing uh the worst of the worst being taken away you know we're not seeing the rapists the murderers the drug dealers we're seeing normal people being

absolutely terrorized by these stunts.

Well, I would assume they're easier targets.

Now, you mentioned, is this mostly an active area normally without the ice agents there?

And that's why they decided to go to that particular neighborhood initially?

Well, I think initially they went to that neighborhood.

So, and you can call this my belief or not, but you know, they're not

They're not coming in here to clean up, you know, the bad people.

They're coming in to terrorize Minneapolis.

And that's based on who our governor is and who our mayor is and the residual thoughts about the whole George Floyd thing, right?

They're coming in to enact a response from the community.

which is burning and looting and rioting, and the Minneapolis residents aren't biting right now.

They're not biting.

They're out there peacefully.

They're out doing their thing.

I think in the last three weeks that only about 29 people have been arrested, you know, disorderly conduct, that kind of thing.

The Minneapolis people are not biting on what they're trying to do.

You asked about neighborhoods.

So I think that was the initial push on the neighborhood, that particular neighborhood.

But now I'm surrounded.

All neighborhoods surrounding me are under siege.

Neighborhoods that you would kind of deem safe are being inundated with ice.

And you know, ice are just

the thugs out front.

There's another organization behind this that are that is directing ice to do what they want.

And again, this isn't hearsay.

This is firsthand knowledge.

Well, what?

Yeah, what is that?

So yeah, what?

What are you talking about?

There's other federal troops on the ground?

Well, you know, I mean, I who knows what it is,

you

know, Trump has it or has his own little, you know, forest.

that is formulated, and you can definitely see them out front there dressed differently, and you can see them directing the action.

The ICE and immigration enforcement are just the thugs out front doing what they're told to do.

What about the governor?

He was going to send out the National Guard in order to protect the citizens in Minnesota.

If this were to happen,

Is there any word that they might be thinking about the National Guard coming out to take on ice?

Well, I mean so, you know think of what walls is trying to do here, right?

I mean he's trying to thread a needle right now, right?

So if the National Guard come out then what happens the National Guard now is facing off against other thugs with guns and And weapons and you know, what does that create that creates?

Probably exactly what Trump wants

Yes.

A civil war, a confrontation, a civil war.

Exactly.

Right.

And to your viewers or to your listeners who think that, that, uh, you know, things are just kind of hit and miss around here.

It is not.

It is every neighborhood.

Everybody is at risk.

businesses that support the community, i.e.

whistles, literature, rights literature, food for immigrants that are afraid to come out of their house, all that are being targeted by ICE.

They'll just come in and start bombing tear gas into their businesses.

And I mean, it's horrific.

It's absolutely horrific.

Now, from the videos that I've seen in the media, it looks like this is a

That area seems to be a fairly nice suburban area and

The area I'm sorry to interrupt.

Well That is the urban core of Minneapolis, right?

I mean, it's a great neighborhood there It's a real melting pot of cultures and people and and it's a wonderful neighborhood.

It's not suburban

It's the urban core.

But there are families living there, correct?

Oh my gosh, yes.

Are they having school as usual now?

Are they staying

out of school this week, aren't they?

School is closed.

The thugs went over to high school and started pulling kids.

started pulling kids out of school.

The teachers are there to protect them.

They got handcuffed, pounded, beat up.

Yeah, I saw those videos that was outrageous.

They're they're real.

And, and, you know, I know, you know, I hope we can leave this on an uplifting note whenever we do decide to close this conversation, because there's a lot of really wonderful things going on around here.

Well, tell us about that.

Well, so I mean I live I live in and I'm air-coated here a safe neighborhood, right?

Or an enclave of Minneapolis and you know, there's a school down the block and Middle School kids were protesting, you know going down their blocks and protesting Schools numerous school are doing doing walkouts and protesting

Progressive businesses are supporting people and helping people with food and, you know, for women, you know, things that women need.

I'll leave that to the imagination, right?

But there is, this is a really tough, really strong community and people are helping people.

Unfortunately,

We're still being pummeled and we're still, it is a siege.

It's a siege mentality almost in every part of the city.

And of course, there's lots of immigrants that have moved also to the near suburbs as well.

And those are being attacked

as well.

Well, there's already a lot of video in regards to what's going on up there as the Ice Agents increase in size.

And what's going on is really stochastic terrorism.

We've talked about it on the program before.

He posts often on a lot of the media, social media, and he posted an interview or

I really think one of the actual secrets of the Trump administration is that they have very cynically hacked civic ignorance.

They realize how little attention most Americans pay to political news.

If they can get out there with a top line message.

very aggressively right away, they can set the terms of the debate regardless of the underlying truth of the matter.

They say things all of the time that are just designed to get them through the next news hour or the next news day with extreme confidence that all of this just fades away.

You really begin to see how much the American system has depended on the honor system.

It has depended to some degree

on politicians agreeing to act with at least some degree of truth and honor because the public will not be aware enough of the facts on the ground to be able to hold politicians to account when they are systematically dishonest.

All right, that was the wrong number.

I gave you the wrong number.

Still a good cut and kind of explains a whole lot of what's going on up there.

I do have that pastor that is cut 198.

An ICE agent literally came over to me and said, what did you say?

I said, I am not afraid.

And they pointed a gun in my face.

ICE put handcuffs on my hands and put me in a black SUV.

And then a few moments later, they came back and they said, are you afraid yet?

And I said, no.

And then they said it.

Well, you're white.

You wouldn't be fun anyway.

It was then that I knew that this staging that these ice raids are really about fear and intimidation.

Wow.

What do you think, Steve?

Yeah.

Well, that's that's so true.

I mean, you know, we hear a lot about the Renee Good shooting, but these characters have pulled out their weapons all over everywhere.

They're brandishing their weapons.

This that that was not a one off.

And I'd also like to respond to that previous cut.

That was David French from New York Times.

Yeah.

So what we're seeing, and he's right about general public naivety.

I'm not going to call it ignorance, but naivety.

And, and like, there's lots of online stuff going on about all this, you know, and for every rational post, there are 40 bots that are

pounding any kind of online information about this.

So this is an assault all the way around.

just crazy I mean they're a ice agent just waiting for people to come out of razzam and then push him down and then take him away and Steve

Yeah, yeah, there's no exaggerate you can't exaggerate what's going on here and not it is all just

an unbelievable nightmare.

It really is.

I mean, that's not hyperbole.

Yeah, it is crazy.

Steve, one one thing I want to find out is how are you communicating with your neighbors and friends in the area there?

I mean, is it just by phone?

Are you are people out in the streets with the whistles and all of that kind of thing that we've been seeing on on video?

But how are you personally

spreading the word

when you when you see activity around?

Well, for example, you know, I still, I'm employed and our HR director came out with, you know, kind of what HR directors come out with about all this, which is blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,

blah, right?

And

I came back and asked her a bunch of very pointed questions.

We have numerous immigrants at where I work.

And then I went to an organization that hands out

you know, the difference between judicial warrants and administrative warrants, you know, all of that and sent that over to her and that got the organization thinking about how to react, right?

So those kinds,

I

mean, I'm just doing whatever I can.

I do stay in close contact via phone texting with my network of friends.

I join numerous rallies

and communicate and communicate with others that are out there.

The immigrants that you work with, have any of them been hassled or arrested?

Well, let me see.

How can I say this?

So in the business that I work in, the industry that I work in, it is very heavily East African, Somalis, Ethiopians,

And the vast majority of Uber and Lyft drivers in this town are East Africans.

So there's a place that they, that they stage out at the airport, right?

And there could be 200 cars waiting for their next ride.

Well, I went over there and started, you know, scaring them and pulling people out of cars.

So

I don't know what the future holds here, but it's very likely that ICE could come over to my workplace and start creating some issues there.

I talk with my co-workers, the co-workers that I think would appreciate that.

You have to realize that many, many people

Think that this is all crap.

And yeah, yeah, we got to get the bad people out We got to get the bad people out.

Well, let's change don't

know what they don't know what damage is being caused by that

and

And you know, you just you just use all resources, you know, you're

using

online resources You're asked to show up.

I have a bookstore that I go to That's a very progressive bookstore.

She hands out whistles of literature and I was down there today asked her if she would

um if she's being harassed and she says online she's being harassed um and not if anything happens that she'll put an all-call out to her people to uh come down and help so it's it's whack-a-mole is really what it

is.

I have to admit that it's very difficult to keep my anger down when I think about this subject.

What's the price tag for this horse manure?

What's the price tag for rambling around, throwing people in prison without their proper warrants, without the proper backing?

What are we paying for this horse manure?

So these guys can get their rocks off.

I would suggest to you that since the time of Reagan, we have had laws on the books where the employers of undocumented immigrants

can at least receive fines and at maximum go to prison if they hire undocumented immigrants.

So there's a solution, and I would suggest a place to start would be Wisconsin's dairy farms.

We've got 10,000 undocumented workers at least employed in our state's dairy industry, okay?

Okay, a few minutes ago we were talking about different kinds of warrants that can be used with ICE agents out there.

And this explains the difference between a judicial warrant and other types.

types of warrants.

It's really important to know the difference because you could be in a spot where you're going to

need this information.

And this woman that's explaining it is related to the court somehow, but she also talks about, I mean, what she's talking about is going into a house with a warrant, but the same applies for getting into your car.

That's right.

That's right.

Let's go ahead and play that.

Let's talk about the first thing you are going to do when somebody knocks on your door and says they demand entry to your house.

You're not going to say, sure, come on in.

You're not going to open the door.

You're not even going to go call your lawyer.

You are going to say the words.

I need to see a warrant.

And then they're going to say, well, sure, if you just open up the door, I'll show you the warrant.

Do not fall for that.

Tell them they can slide it under the door.

They can press it against the window or some other way.

Once you are able to view the warrant, these are the three things you're going to look for.

Number one, you're going to look for words at the top that say United States District Court.

You're going to look for the word court, C-O-U-R-T.

at the top of this document.

It can be from any state, district within that state, but it needs to say the word court.

Second thing you're going to look for is a signature right here.

You see here Brian D. Karth, clerk of

Court.

C-O-U-R-T.

There's that word again.

Now here you can have either the signature of a judge, sometimes a magistrate judge, or you can have a signature of a representative of that judge, which would be the clerk of court.

Third thing you're going to look for right here.

You are hereby commanded to arrest.

See that over there?

That better be your name, and it better be spelled correctly.

Now this is an example of an ICE warrant or an administrative warrant.

Let's look for the three things we talked about.

Number one, is there a reference to a court anywhere at the top of the document?

No, no, there isn't.

What it actually says is the U.S.

Department of Homeland Security.

That's not court.

This is not a judicial warrant.

Let's look at the signature.

Is there a signature here by a judge, a magistrate judge or a deputy clerk of that court?

No, it says immigration officer.

Immigration officer is not a judge.

Immigration officer does not have any authority to make a fourth amendment ruling on whether or not your constitutional rights are being violated.

Even if this document

says warrant, even if this document has a signature and even if this document correctly spells your name, this is not a judicial warrant.

What does that mean?

That means that if all they got is an administrative warrant and when they slide that under your door and you look for it and you say, hmm, this document doesn't reference a court.

Hmm.

This document doesn't have a signature of a judge, a magistrate judge or a

Court clerk.

Hmm.

This document actually doesn't spell my name, right?

The words that you are going to say are the you do not have my consent to enter the premises.

After that is when you call a lawyer.

There you go.

So that's it.

And same thing for if you're in a car and they try to break in the car.

So they can't

do it.

Have to open.

They can't get in your home

or

your car.

Unless

it's a judicial warrant.

Judicial warrant.

That's

it.

I don't think they listen to that.

I don't think they care.

We haven't

seen them ask any of those questions.

Now that we're armed a little bit with the information, at least we can feel better that when we talk and when we tell them we're not going to open our car door or let

him in

the house, at least we know that we have some reason for it.

And that if something does happen...

you are in the right if it

goes to court.

You know Steve referred to this and we've seen the video now a couple of times of that young guy, 17-year-old guy getting pulled out of target.

roughed him up quite a bit threw him in the van They let him go about an hour later or some sometime within the hour But they took him you know took him from target over to Walmart and dumped him out in the parking lot.

He was bleeding Yeah, I saw that
