John and Gordy kick off the show in the usual fashion, but with a Christmas twist: we're beginning to sprinkle in some (odd) holiday music. Stay tuned for hour two, where the guys will run down their top 10 favorite Christmas movies. Until then, they cover the National Day Calendar, and check in with Sam for Today in History. Later, they welcome on Dr. Tim Slekar of BustED Pencils, and harp on school vouchers, the funding for which is destroying public education. They go to West Virginia, where its literally happening, after the closure of 24 public schools. They touch on school schoolings, after the tragedy in Madison earlier this week, then talk Matt Damon's mom, a professor and regular on BustED Pencils, who this week was talking about critical thinking.
