John and Gordy, on the verge of a major announcement for Civic Media, have their hopes dashed by their program director Kathryn, who delays the announcement until 3:00 today. To cover this disaster, they discuss another disaster, Eric Hovde, who has yet another goofy campaign ad. They get into Christian nationalism once again, covering Mike Flynn and Tommy Tuberville's dream of creating a white, Christian state. Later, we hear from the opposite side, with Texas representative James Talarico's efforts to stop them from putting chaplains in place of school counselors. John and Gordy cover Joe Manchin's constituents nearly fighting with him, a bankrupt local brewery that will continue to make beer, and close out making fun of MAGAs unaffected by the issues they're passionate about.
