River Valley passed the first test of the WIAA softball tournament with a 14-4 win over visiting Pardeeville on Thursday, May 21.

Richland Center won 11-0 in 5 innings over Wisconsin Dells in area softball Tuesday, May 19. The Hornets won the non-conference tune up before the WIAA tournament begins next week and improved to 16-3. The Dells fell to 8-15 with the loss.

Ithaca won 6-0 over Weston in high school baseball played in Cazenovia on Monday, May 18. Hewston Boland went the distance for the pitching victory as he struck out 10, walked 2, and gave up just one hit.
