The Ithaca football team won the Scenic Bluffs Conference opener 26-21 over Hillsboro. It was a well-played game in which neither team turned the ball over.

The Richland Center high school volleyball team swept Prairie Chien on the opening night of Southwest Conference play.  The scores were 25-15, 25-6, and 25-20 during family night for the Hornets at the Richland Center High School Fieldhouse.
