The Ithaca softball team won 12-2 in six innings over visiting Seneca in a Ridge and Valley conference game. The Bulldogs pulled away from a close game with two runs in the fifth and four in the sixth to win on the 10-run rule.
River Valley came from behind to defeat Richland Center 6-5 on May 9. The visiting Hornets led 5-1 at one point in the game. The Blackhawks scored 2 runs in the 6th and 3 in the 7th to win in exciting fashion.
