Hillsboro held off Riverdale 62-58 in boys basketball. The game was very close throughout. The Tigers led the Chieftains 26-25 at halftime. A two-point basket from the Tigers Malekai Simpson in the closing minute gave the visitors a 2-point lead which they were able to hold after the Chieftains missed two long 3-point attempts in the closing moments.
