Fennimore held on for a 41-38 win over Riverdale in boys basketball on Monday night.  The Chieftains put forth a great effort against a team they had lost to by 34 points last Thursday night. Last night Riverdale led 21-19 at halftime and battled back from an 8-point deficit. They had a late shot that missed for a lead in the last seconds. Fennimore's Reesce Kelly made two free throws with 2 seconds remaining to give the Golden Eagles a 3-point lead. The Chieftains missed a halfcourt shot for a tie at the end of the game.
