Lancaster held on for an 8-7 softball victory over Richland Center on Thursday night. The game was 2-1 in favor of the Arrows until the 5th inning. Trailing 8-1, Richland Center plated 3 runs in the 5th and 6th innings to get within a run. Lancaster right fielder Kya Streif made 3 extra base hit robbing catches on the night including hauling in a two out fly ball off the bat of Ebony McCorkle with 2 runners in scoring position in the 6th inning. A hit would have given the Hornets their first lead of the game.
